Tortellini Gratinata was too cheesy for my taste but good overall
Branzino filet with olives and capers (ok) mashed potato (didn't feel home made) with garlic sautéed broccoli (tasty)
I love the italian art.
Restaurant has a nice Manhattan street view.

This is always a must stop when we visit NYC. Great food, great prices in a family owned business. Had fried calamari linguine with white clam sauce and tiramisu to wrap up the meal. Thank you again for a great meal.

Unexpectedly, great service and food. They are very accommodating. We were a group of 6. Seated smoothly. Great food. Service was really good. We share the salads and they split into two dishes. That was very nice. Bread were yummy. Portions was very generous.

I'm a professional, a mother, a human. I know what it's like to be ignored. Sometimes it's because the restaurant is busy- it happens. Or it's damn near empty and the server doesn't want to be bothered with your kind. Beware of Fabrizio. The fat short waiter at this establishment. Disappointing in 2024.

Last time I was here was 1997. It has not changed and that is good! Prices were still reasonable, food was stellar. Service was speedy but not rushed. Everything was spot on. Great start to the evening. Cannot wait to return. This is classic Italian dining. Packed in tight but love the energy in here. Great for a pre-show dinner.

Outstanding little family run place--quintessentially NYC-- small tables in a small space, snugly arranged, a few people doing many jobs, and very good food for a surprisingly fair price. I had the mushroom fettuccini special and I was totally impressed.

I came in one Thursday evening, not too hungry but needed to eat something. The bar is cozy and they weren't really busy. Owner was manning the bar and ordered a red and their shrimp with orange sauce appetizer. This was an odd combination but it seemed to work.Next time, I'll come for the full menu.Cheers.!

A casual Italian restaurant in great location. We've got great foods each time, generous portion and very friendly services. But it's not very noisy Italian restaurant. One important point is great prices for the Midtown Manhattan. Food is more like Northern Italian with various sauces which is great. Several house made pastas are good and they prepare flexible thigh they don't have in menu.

Walked in off the street and the staff took us in quickly. They really took care of us and we never felt rushed. The food was fabuloso! Fresh, hot and tasty! Will consider coming back when I am in the area. Small, intimate, clean and great and reasonably priced menu for Manhattan.

This is the best Italian restaurant in New York City! It's right in the theater District, and has an amazing menu. I have been dining there for years. Ask for Paul and tell him that Bill Martin Jr sent you the for extra good service! My favorite dishes are the Seabass with olives and red sauce, and and the rigatoni with meat sauce.
