I was on a business trip and passed through New York, so I chose to have dinner at Da Andrea NYC. The restaurant has an elegant and warm atmosphere, and the service is attentive, making people feel comfortableWe started with Burrata Con Basilico. The cheese tasted delicate and smooth, and paired with fresh basil and olive oil, showing the natural flavor of the ingredients. The freshness of the appetizer was satisfactory, laying a good foundation for the whole dinnerFor the main course, I chose the special pasta-spinach macaroni with half a lobster, mussels and hot sauce. The overall taste was harmonious, and the subtle spiciness of the hot sauce enhanced the freshness of the seafood, but in terms of the portion, if there were more lobsters, the taste would be richer. Another classic spaghetti bolognese was just right, with a rich sauce and a chewy pasta texture, showing the charm of traditional Italian cuisineOverall, Da Andrea stands out with its high-quality ingredients and authentic flavors. Charming Italian restaurant with a cozy vibe. I saw this restaurant on Instagram and had it saved as a spot to try for a while. My girlfriends and I came here to for a holiday gathering and our experience was delightful!We tried the following dishes:1. Cavoletti Di Bruxelles (5/5) - salad with olives and citrusy dressing. Since we ordered a lot of heavy food, this was a nice appetizer to share.2. Fettucine Al Tartufo (6/5) - excellent truffle pasta! Some restaurants make it a bit blend or too oily, but what we had was just perfect.3. Cavatelli Alla Bolognese (5/5) - good. I'm not a big fan of red sauce, but I like how rich the sauce was. This was my friend's top favorite.4. Margarita (4/5) - ok. I wouldn't say flat bread is their specialty.5. Crème Brûlée & Tiramisu (5/5) - both desserts were delicious. I personally liked crème brûlée more than Tiramisu.6. Drinks (5/5) - I ordered Bellini and liked how it wasn't too sweet!Everything we had was absolutely delicious! Our server was attentive and very nice, even though we stayed a few hours. I would love to come back and try other pasta dishes like Carbonara.*Great for big family groups.*We made a reservation, but it wasn't crowded during the weekends.*Chelsea market near by (less than 10 min walk)

From the Matron to our waiter and the Bus boys the service was excellent.The food...not so much. The papardelli portion was kid size at best --small kid. It was average on taste, however a bit bland.

The food is very good, service is great, bathroom are small. We order Filetto Di Manzo, Spaghetti alla Chitarra con Salsa alla Bolognese . Coke and hot water. Coke is $5 each They charge are bar service??? $15 fee which I don't understand. But other than thay everything is great .

We loved Da Andrea so much, we visited twice during our six day trip! My daughter said the seafood (salmon, lobster and crab) ravioli was the best thing she ate on our trip. The sauce was decadent and the ravioli stuffed with seafood. I had the squid ink pasta which was quite nice. My husband and son each had the carbonara and really liked it.This location is a warm, inviting restaurant that's on the nicer side, but was still plenty inviting for my kids. The servers were all great, very friendly and helpful. Extra shoutout to the manager that ran my handbag out to me before I had even realized I had left it! Love this spot!

First off, I loved the bread they served at the start - it was warm and had olives mixed in. The warm octopus was a bit of a miss for me. While the texture was nice, it was a bit too salty for me. The squid ink pasta, on the other hand, was flavorful. Though I did notice the clams were on the smaller side, probably because they're not in season. The ravioli was creamy, but I was hoping for a bit more spinach flavor. Overall, a good experience.

The seating was so fast for a pre Valentine's Day night, the staff was very attentive and friendly, but the star of the show was by far the food my husband and I both opted for a pasta dish him; carbonara and me the pappardelle and a side of broccoli rabe and it was amazing we spent the whole evening eating off one another's plates because we couldn't decide which one we liked better and to top it off we got a complimentary biscotti dessert! If you haven't been you must go!
