I came with friends for brunch as one does while aimlessly exploring the city. We had a reservation, but around the time we went wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. The interior is very well decorated, it was very cozy but also super lively. I absolutely loved our waiter, they were super attentive and very friendly. They came by to check often enough that you know they are there if you need anything. I absolutely love everything we got and we were surprised that certain dishes were better than we'd expected. The highlight of our brunch was the Barbabietole, it was super refreshing and just a well-balanced salad. We also tried the Rollatini Di Melanzane and it was also absolutely delicious. Of course, we did order a few different pastas, but it wasn't quite as memorable as the salad. But, don't get me wrong, even the pastas were amazing. It truly was a wonderful experience for my friends and me. I would recommend stopping by if you have the chance!

Wowee worth the hype! Absolutely delicious pasta. Im a pretty simple gal when it comes to pasta, always love a bolognese or any red sauce. I usually feel like it's not hard to mess up but also the ceiling for how good it can be isnt too high. Da Andrea did it well. You can really taste how fresh everything is. You know how they say in Italy when you eat pasta there you won't bloat? That's what happened when I ate here. I also tried a bit of everyone else's pasta dish and every single one was delish!

I came in with a reservation for 3 during a Friday night and it was pretty much fully booked! Super pretty atmosphere and romantic brick wall vibes galore. Perfect for a date night considering the lighting is dim and it feels like a classic meet up spot.We had ordered some wine and chose the mussels for an appetizer which is AMAZING. The service was great and lots of bread served before our meal. They come with olives in olive oil and I asked for vinegar on the side and they provided! The mussels were in a flavorful garlic sauce and had two toasted bread on top which was so great to dip in the sauce with the mussels! All the mussels were fresh and fat and I enjoyed it sharing with two other people. I totally recommend their mussels. 10/10 for me!Since we wanted some pasta we decided to get 3 and share it together. We got the spaghetti bolognese, penne con melezane and the tagliolini Neri alla vongole. They added fresh ground pepper and cheese on top and I was super impressed by the presentation. My favorite was definitely the penne con melezane even though I'm not a big fan of eggplant I really enjoyed this one and the flavor of the sauce was extremely flavorful. Definitely a 10/10! The other two was tasty but definitely not the best squid ink and bolognese I've had. I think the squid ink could be enhanced a little more if they added maybe a few anchovies in the sauce and the bolognese was just like how it normally is- good but definitely not the best. I would rate both of these 7-8/10.I think this place is a nice place for a good date or a celebration as everything is tasty and fresh. I definitely will be coming back!

Fantastic "girls night out place" feels like a scene. Host and servers were fantastic. Food came out with great timing. The risotto was "gummy" tasting, wish I had asked for mashed potatoes. Loud with small tables so we could hear each other. I would def recommend for friends in the area.

I made a reservation for Da Andrea at 5:30pm on a Thursday. If you go around this time, a reservation isn't needed, as the restaurant never made it past half full. Granted, it could be the freezing weather! The interior of Da Andrea is beautiful, and works well for a date or business dinner. I wanted to try Da Andrea because it has better reviews than Olio e Più, and I LOVE Olio's carbonara. So I had to get Da Andrea's carbonara ($27), while my friend got the Mediterranean pasta ($26). Price points are high, but comparable for NYC, and slightly justified by the service and ambiance. However, the taste came far from justifying the price. My carbonara had very little flavor. The dish desperately needed salt and something else to balance the cream sauce. Noodles were on the stickier side, which is a common trait of handmade noodles, but also made the dish a tad dry. My friend enjoyed the Mediterranean pasta, but mentioned it was nothing of note. We splurged on dessert; I got sorbet ($11) and my friend got an affogato ($14), and both dishes were fine.Service was the best thing the restaurant had to offer. We had multiple check-backs and everyone made us feel welcome. Our waters were consistently refilled. Overall, I would recommend Da Andrea if you're dining for the gram, since it is very beautiful!

Celebrated a friend's birthday dinner last night. This was probably the longest and most unprofessional wait for a table that we've had to endure. Reservation was for 7pm. We weren't seated until 7:45pm because they didn't manage their customer's expectations for the reserved table at 7pm. The worst part is they didn't have a proper waiting area so our group of 8 had to be awkwardly standing by the end of the bar because the bar was also already crowded btw. The hostess couldn't give us an estimate of time and there was another female waitress who couldn't even be bothered to say 'Excuse me' whenever she passed through us, the most awkward situation. We've also seen at least 10 other tables get seated. They should be properly trained as customer-facing people and how to at least apologize for the inconvenience. The good part is the restaurant's interiors are bright & pretty. Once we were finally seated, our waiter starts to get drinks and really wants to upsell bottles of wine. We all want different drinks so we don't do bottles. You could already sense our frustration that the waiter still wants to do it his way and doesn't take into consideration the 45 min. wait or perhaps acknowledge it even to lighten the mood. He insists to take the drinks first then he will come back to take our order for the appetizers even if we were all set to give it to him. It's his way or nothing. Drinks came. Appetizers were good because everyone's famished at this point. Frito Misto was good, the Baked Buns were good. Entrees were served. Pastas were all generally good but the birthday celebrant and another friend who ordered Filet Mignon found it fatty. More drinks. Then we ordered desserts, Tiramisu for the celebrant, Creme Brulee for the table and the Chocolate Walnut with Salted Caramel for us, which was the best out of everything. They gave 3 additional desserts on the house because the $36 was in their mind enough to compensate us for the long wait and inconvenience of standing and waiting for 45 mins. After paying $805.47, we were so ready to move somewhere. Unfortunately for all of us, this was a highly recommended restaurant that we were excited to try and experience but didn't really wow us. Rough start for the year. Hope they learn how to treat their customers right and value their time better. There's too many other fantastic Italian restaurants out here and the competition is tough, so there will always be options if they don't really wish for repeat customers.

Grace was an amazing server. She checked on us quite frequently, and was very attentive to our table. It was my friend nicole's birthday, so she gave her a complementary dessert which was so sweet. We love you!!!!
