I was very excited to see a legit Malaysian restaurant in Park Slope and this place definitely has potential to be 4 stars! The first time I ate here, I was by myself and needed lunch so I had their chicken curry mee which was delicious. I then took my friend and family here where I could try other dishes and realize not everything was quite as delicious. Some dishes were good and some just ok. The hainanese chicken was good, it was not dry and the meat was tender but cooked through. The Malaysian chow fun was good but didn't have enough heat from the wok. The Penang kuey teow was a bit too wet and slightly too soft for my taste. The calamari was ok and the wings were a little bland. So on average a 3.5 on food. It's a pretty decent size space with a small backyard with some seats. The service was fine and food comes out piping hot.

This restaurant owner is a scammer. I ordered food via Ubereats for lunch today and within a minute after I ordered, the owner called my cell phone and said that he doesn't have the ingredients for items that I ordered. He made me cancel the food order on Ubereats apps, which I did because I thought I did the right thing. Little did I know, because of that, I was issued receipt by Ubereats for the amount of $74 for the food I have never received. If the restaurant doesn't have the food item, they should have crossed it out so people don't accidentally order but instead of doing the right thing, the restaurant owner made me cancel an order and for this purpose alone he keeps my hard earned money. To add the insult, I get no refund nor the food. Please don't support a restaurant like this who treat customers poorly like garbage.

3.5 stars rounded up. Portion sizes were a bit smaller than I expected. The Egg and Seafood Chowfun tasted good, but I wish there was just a bit more chowfun. Service was good, and the ambiance was nice. They had some calming jazz music playing in the background. Overall, not a bad spot, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

A Malaysian restaurant! In Park Slope! And it's actually good! I never thought I'd see the day. The two of us ordered a bunch of dishes, alarming our waiter until we reassured him that we'd be packing copious leftovers. In terms of standouts, the ong choy Malaysian style a.k.a. water spinach with sambal sauce was excellent and so flavorful. My friend loved the satay beef, which was juicy and tender. The roti canai only had one little piece of roti, but I liked that it was thicker than usual, and the accompanying curry with potato and chicken pieces was very tasty.Dishes that weren't as top notch, but still good: For the red curry duck... holy moly, this was some of the best cooked duck I've had in a while. They give an abundant portion of meat with perfectly crispy skin. It's honestly a dream for duck fans. The rest was only okay, though. The dish was oddly lacking in curry sauce itself, and I wasn't a fan of the okra here, which achieved peak levels of sliminess. The Hainanese chicken was tender in a delicious soy sauce marinade, with the requisite ginger scallion sauce and tangy chili sauce. I just wish the chicken rice had been a little more moist and oily, really soaking up that chicken fat or stock like I prefer.I'd also highly recommend the teh tarik, which was milky but not too thick, and hit just the right level of sweetness.

Great new restaurant in the area. Not an Asian fusion but Asian only. Malaysian, SingaporeThe roti was good. The curry shrimp was not as spicy Prices are reasonable. I think the curry dishes would be perfect for cold winter days.

This is a new Malaysian restaurant (open about a month when we came). I eat at a lot of Malaysian food and I would consider this more of a cafe/dinner as they serve the more popular items and less of the other type. The food is absolutely wonderful. Just too bad the portions are a little on the small size - definitely not a share type of dish that you normally get at a traditional full Malaysian or Chinese restaurant. Some of the dishes I would consider among the best tasting around NY - hainanese chicken, Ong Choy, etc.

Arrived in Brooklyn later than anticipated and was fortunate enough to find this gem of a restaurant!I was so hungry I didn't even get a picture, but I had the pineapple fried rice w/chicken and shrimp. It was absolutely the best I've ever eaten. I met the owner and gave him my compliments. He provided me with a sample of their curry chicken which was absolutely amazing. I'm only in town for a little more than the weekend, but I'm planning on going back at least once on this visit. That's saying something when you consider all of the amazing culinary options avaliable in the city!
