What a fantastic place to have a gathering or small intimate drink. The food is great especially the happy hour oysters, their prices are phenomenal as well. You won't be disappointed with the amazing beer selection and their cocktails are fantastic. It also helps that the owner is Irish and he really knows what he is doing.All in all one of my best places in NYC. Go Crown Alley.

I ordered a happy hour drink and happy hour oysters. The drink was nothing to write home about. The oysters were fresh. This place is small so I ate outside at the outdoor dining. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back again.

This bar has a strange setup. It actually consists of two sides - both of which are very long and narrow. There is no big open bar with bar seating either. It's mainly small tables with chairs. If you are looking for a lively bar, this is the not the place. The food was very basic bar food too. The sandwiches here are on the smaller side and only come with potato chips (no french fries) for about $15-$18.The primary reason to come here is their cheap every day happy hour menu. While most bars only offer happy hour on weekdays, Crown Alley's is from 3pm to 7pm every day. You can get $5 beers, $8 cocktails, and $1 oysters. This is a fantastic deal for those who just want to drink.

I came here after work with some coworkers for happy hour. This place was packed!! There were a lot of people and it seemed like a great date spot. There are 2 sides and they're connected in the back.Among the 4 of us, we had: - house margaritas - espresso martinis - cosmopolitans - pretzels - smashburger The drinks were strong and cheap ($8 cocktails)!

My friend reserved a few tables around 3pm this last Saturday for her birthday! Little did we know- they have HH menu everyday till 7pm ($8 cocktails) which we were never told. The QR code takes you to their regular menu. Would have been nice if they said something - all good though. Service overall was good. They started to get packed and really did their best to make sure the entire back room was being taken care of. They did a good job- food menu overall looked good we shared popcorn, chips and pretzels they did have other things as well. 2 bathrooms were ok, sometimes a line, other times not at all. Not a terrible experience overall! Cheers!

I came here for their happy hour, and I have to say, the drinks are incredible.The place used to feel a bit small and cramped, especially when it was crowded, but I'm so glad they've expanded to the other side. The new section has a more elegant and cozy vibe, perfect for a girls' night out. Honestly, their prices are some of the best in the city--especially considering most places start at $17 these days, even without happy hour

Came here during happy hour! It was wonderful the drinks were great . Oysters is a must. The bartender was serving the whole bar alone and did a great job, service was excellent.

I highly recommend this place for the happy hour that ends at 7pm, the cocktails and the food. PS one drink at a time during happy hour. I met my friend and we were in the back because the bar was very crowded- both inside and outside. Eventually 2 spots opened up at the bar which was perfect. I highly recommend sitting at the bar - the bartenders are attentive and very efficient. I had the Moscow Mule, Bee's Knee, Daiquiri and two glasses of the Pinot Grigio.

Came here for drinks and snacks with friends and it's definitely such a nice spot! Tight cozy space but lots of fun to go out with friends with really good drinks and the waitress was super nice as well. Charcuterie board was also really yummy so would definitely recommend.

We stopped here before dinner to have some oysters and cocktails and were not disappointed! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the servers are very friendly and on top of things. We sat outside and enjoyed some bee's knees cocktails and oysters. It was a very pleasant time and we would definitely come back :)
