Stopped by here with family before heading to a movie at Nitehawk Prospect Park -- highly recommend!I was able to secure a reservation day-of on a Saturday, and the experience there was fantastic. I had a lovely whiskey sour to go along with a Margherita D.O.P pizza, and the pizza was wonderful! Tasty combination of flavors and the crust had a perfectly chewy texture that I loved.Ambiance is great as well, dimly lit with a comfortable amount of tables inside. Highly recommend!

It's pretty good, for the cost of the additional options prices I would have expected more (eg this pizza was 3 additional toppings so a $28 pizza.....) but the flavors were nice and good crust/dough(Sorry forgot to take a photo before we ate 2 pieces :) Also that's $28 takeout price.... Not dining in.

The place was very busy when we came, we waited 20-30 minutes for a table on a Friday night. Once we were seated the service was quick and attentive. The place has a good amount of outdoor tables and pretty small inside. The food was good. The arancini was delicious, excellent pesto, well-cooled risotto. The pizza with the pork belly was outstanding, the scallions really added a lot. The margherita pizza was just ok, the sauce could have used more flavor. All pizzas are made with sourdough.

Was able to snag a table as a walk-in on a Saturday night. Unfortunately the only table available was a high top in the back. We had decent timing because the staff had looked like they were just finishing up with the early dinner rush, with a bunch of tables closing their tabs and wrapping up their meals. Tough to get our servers attention for more water and our check. We were served pretty quickly - ordered the caesar salad and the spicy pepperoni pizza. The salad was a classic pizza parlour caesar salad with an adequate amount of dressing. The pizza was nice and spicy, with plenty of jalapeno slices, wilted from the pizza oven. The sourdough crust held up well to the sauce and toppings and gave a beautiful tangy note in the pizza. You'd be better off making a reservation just to be sure to get a table/booth during peak hours. Music in the restaurant is a bit loud for my liking and felt more like a bar vibe than a family pizza joint vibe.

From the appetizer to the dessert.. everything was amazing! We had the prosciutto & burrata, margarita dop, the sausage pizza, and the fall special pizza. We also had the chocolate caramel cake, affogato, and the ricotta pistachio gelato.. 10/10 for everything. We're so full and satisfied! It felt like I was in Italy again. And a special thanks to Arkan (hope I'm spelling it right). He was so nice and polite. We loved talking to him. Crosta felt so cozy and relaxed! We will definitely be back!

While Piccoli, the trattoria up the street from the same owners, is dedicated to pasta, Crosta is wholly focused on the pizza. Their claim to fame is that their sourdough pizza is naturally risen for 72 hours, giving the bread as much flavor as the toppings on each pie. Though you'll find burgers, salads, and sandwiches on their menu as well, I'd stick to their pies, of which you have 13 different kinds to choose from.I like to gauge a pizzeria by their margherita, and theirs was satisfactory, though not mind blowing. I was way more impressed by a white pie called the Umami Explosion, topped with taleggio cheese, fior di latte, smoked mozzarella, roasted mushrooms, sage, and a fried egg. The egg on the pizza doesn't do much for it but its the three cheeses and some unnamed umami seasoning that really give it a depth of flavor. Try it with the chili oil they offer at the restaurant. They have a cocktail list, but I've enjoyed the pies here with red wine. Service is great and their staff is really sweet.

Crosta is a very homey restaurant in Park Slope. I had a seat at the bar, I ordered a glass of wine and Pizza. The Tuscan red wine that I ordered was very good. I ordered a Crosta Pizza, and it was surprisingly good. The dough was light and airy, the sauce delicious, and the Chorizo was perfect. The staff were polite and friendly. The space was nicely decorated for Christmas. I will definitely be back.

Outstanding service, cozy and romantic ambiance, stacked bar, delicious and surprising pizza (the dough is sourdough dough!), and the playlist slaps. Shout out to the pistachio pesto truffle pizza and the anchovy olive pizza (both of which the two of us comfortably demolished so one pizza per person is a wize order). Will be back to try the umami pizza which was admittedly intimidating but still very intriguing ... so don't take it off the menu soon!

Was very disappointed with my meatball parm panani today. The sauce tasted like tomato paste, the meatballs , which were listed as beef and ricotta, were overcooked making them hard; dry, and tough and they were very spicy . The mozzarella was cold and hard when the sandwich was delivered to the table.Have gone 2x before for pizza , which was OK.Told the waitress who had not checked during the meal and no comment/response was offered .
