I pass by Columbus Diner quite a lot, but never went in mostly because it doesn't look interesting from the outside. I decided to stop by one Saturday afternoon since I was picking up breakfast for my fiance and his parents. I saw their menu had an abundance of breakfast like dishes that I love to eat and wanted to try.As I walked inside, I noticed how busy it was and how crowded it was. There is dine-in available, but doesn't look very fancy. Decor is a bit out of date. I decided to do take-out and got an everything bagel with peanut butter and jelly (sounds a little disgusting, but it taste good). The cost is standard price for bagels. Customer service was on point and good. The bagel was absolutely delicious and filling. I was stuffed after eating most of it. Overall, I like that there's an alternative option if I don't feel like having buns or dim sum for breakfast. I can just take a 5 minute walk down to Columbus Diner and grab a bagel, omelette or something else depending on my appetite. Hope to come back soon and try their other breakfast items.

This place must have changed hands. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese this morning and received a bacon and egg, no cheese. Not worth the money, try another deli in the neighborhood.

I like The Columbus because nothing is more New York than a kosher Deli. Now I dont really know if Columbus is a Kosher Deli but I can get Pastrami on Rye and a Knish with a Cream Soda so that makes it Kosher enough for me. I love their Pastrami, enough lean and fat, very flavorful and not overstuffed like say Carnegie or overpriced like say Katzs. The rye bread is wonderfully soft and they put the right amount of Mustard. The Knish was also good a very plump and potato stuffed specimen which the nice counter girl split and filled with Mustard for me. The only drawback was it was probably sitting on the grill too long as the bottom was a little burnt. They gave me 2 pickle spears one sour and one half sour and I do love my pickles. Columbus has been in that spot for many years and I hope they will be there many more.

I got the potato egg with sausage on a roll, should have added cheese but it was still really good. The waitress was very friendly she was wearing a shirt that says "God knows if you don't tip" love it! Will definitely come back!

They charged me $7.00 for a sausage,egg & cheese on a Roll not even a bagel . Ridiculous,complete rip-off & i asked salt,pepper & ketchup on it they said they don't do that .I have to do it myself & then proceeded to only add ketchup packets in my bag . will not be returning

Wow, this is my first time ordering from Columbus diner and it is amazing. The food is very tasty and they don't skimp on the portion size. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and lunch. I ordered my lunch to be delivered and the service was fast and still hot which is definitely a plus. I pass by the diner often and it's just a small diner, no frills but food is great.

For Context: I used to order from this place almost once a week. I don't know if the management changed or what... I have even made it a point to call and speak on the phone, because I am not a fan of running to write reviews at all (especially negative ones). I think I am officially done ordering, and will only stop in there for coffee (coffee is still good). I ordered a burger in March- bug on the lettuce. I ordered breakfast sandwiches- empty and greasy. I tried the simplest breakfast dish- pancakes- and they were so burned I couldn't eat them (pictured below). The staff is nice, and when you call they apologize. But it is just not worth ordering from here because it takes a long time, OR it is quick + something is wrong.
