Clemente Bar

I have been to Clemente both for The Studio experience and for the regular bar experience.The Studio experience is quite special! Only 8 people served at a time. It is $250 for a 4 course tasting menu with a different drink served in each course. It's amazing to watch the bartender prepare the drinks in front of you (especially the clarifying process!) and to see the staff preparing food in front of you as well. The experience is very interactive and all staff is personable. Daniel Humm actually stopped by during my Studio experience which was awesome. This is not a cheap meal but it is a memorable one if you can swing the price. The regular Clemente bar is equally as exciting. The drink menu is pretty extensive and everything is so interesting. You will not find regular drinks here but something a cut above. There's a drink for every palette and every mood. I honestly could sit there all night and try every single one if I had the time and the ability to handle my alcohol lol. At Clemente bar I had the burger which was really good. The fries served are pretty thick which is different for a fry but did not take away from how yummy they are! We also shared chocolate mousse for dessert that was a great sweet finish to the meal. The menu is frequently changing so you will never know what they will have to offer when you show up. I think that is part of the fun. The thing that sets Clemente bar apart from other cocktail bars is the attention to detail, the care that goes into curating the menu and the impeccable customer service. I do not know another cocktail bar with this level of service currently. The Clemente bar has a more fun, colorful aesthetic than their below sister restaurant, Eleven Madison Park. The menu, decor and drink coasters have fun stars, or just kitschy fonts. The bar is classy but with a youthful twist in its design. The Clemente bar has two bathrooms upstairs so you don't have to travel downstairs to use one if you need to. I highly recommend reservations as it seems you can't get in without them.There's a coat check available downstairs for your convenience as well. Clemente Bar is accessible via staircase but unsure if you can take an elevator to that second floor if you can't do stairs. Clemente Bar, just like EMP is fully vegan and you wouldn't even notice. You don't miss meat or dairy at all with the way the staff has curated their drinks and food. This feels like the future of dining. I have not been to EMP yet - but it's on my list.Also - if you reserve the $250 Studio experience, note that there's no refunds permitted! So once you commit, you're in! But I don't think you will be disappointed.

Overall was fine, given a 1 hour 15 min bar seats for walk in.Three Boxes was my fav.Koji Cafe was very sweet with sweet foam on top.Clemente Martini was very balanced.Why 3 star? The bartender was quite rough, everytime he finished a cocktail he threw the shaker, strainer, everything in the sink. Constant noise like I'm in a back kitchen instead of a trying-to-be-upscale bar. The experience was not great and awkward.

So timely, we watched a @youtube video by @forbes featuring @theclementebar the night before we went. Very artsy and intimate, @theclementebar is directly above @elevenmadisonpark A fully plant-based bar and lounge with absolutely incredible cocktails. My husband really enjoyed the Army Brat. I was completely blown away by Sakura Heights. Service was 100% on point. Prices are super reasonable for NYC. A highly recommended spot to check out! Super swanky vegan upstairs cocktail bar with smallish plates & some zero proof cocktails.Ate & drank:Apium elixir $18Endive goddess $15Tonburi $24Luscious zero proof cocktail This space is perched above 11 Madison park & feels like a secret spot.All vegan menu that's pricey but attention to detail makes it sooo worth it.Definitely quality over quantity.Cocktail program is top tier.Btw I walked in at 5 first on line no reservations and snagged a bar seat.Only disappointment was the Lou which should've been tip top at opening and was not.

What a sensational new concept by EMP !!Loved the ambience, the service and all the interactions with the kitchen staff. Such good NA cocktail options as part of tasting, along with all the accompanying bites. Standouts were the 100% buckwheat soba noodles dish with aromatic fresh shaved truffles as well as the Epic Chocolate hazelnut dessert. Definitely stopping by again when I visit NYC (Hopefully early 2025).

Beautiful bar with amazing service. Even though it's linked to Eleven Madison Park the prices for the drinks were pretty reasonable, at around $24/25 a drink. They also serve small plant based bites. Overall really liked this spot!

Clemente Bar feels like a hidden speakeasy nestled within Eleven Madison Park, offering a moody, upscale atmosphere perfect for a special night out. The intimate space features a small bar counter and a few cozy couches, making it ideal for date nights or gatherings with friends. While the drinks are on the pricier side, they're crafted with innovation and are exceptionally delicious, providing a memorable experience in every sip.

This bar is tucked upstairs at Eleven Madison park and is a super chic location. The cocktails are delicious and they think about presentation all the way down to the stamped ice. The food however was just okay. The avocado spring rolls were very good but the play on caviar didn't have a ton of flavor and was very acidic.

Only went for drinks so cannot comment on the food other than to say that everything coming out looked outstanding. Very good quality drinks, the bartenders looked like they knew what they were doing. Tiny place which makes the difficulty getting a reservation understandable, but it's on the second floor so super cozy and cute, especially during the cold winter months. Would love to return to try the food.

Drinks are universally superb and the space is beautiful. Wasn't as impressed by the snack options.
