This is a cute upper west side side Italian spot that I have wanted to try. I went last week as a belated birthday dinner for myself with my friend. The restaurant itself is smaller than I thought inside. They have a covered like outdoor heated area that is like attached to the actual restaurant. They have a bit of tables in this area. We ate in the main restaurant area and felt a bit squished. Granted we did go when there were a few parties going on so that could have had something to do with it too. There is a small bar area when you first walk in which was pretty and they have some seats at the bar. For food and drinks my friend and I shared the fried artichokes which as seen in picture there were quite a bit that it comes with. The sauce that came with it was very good. Tasted like herby something. For drinks my friend had what looked like to be a raspberry or strawberry tequila drink she seemed not to really enjoy it. I had the Belissimo which was:Hendrinks, Fresh Cucumber Juice, St Germain. It was very cucumbery tasting which I liked. I enjoyed it very much. For dinner we both had a pasta dish. We both started off with some bread which tasted very fresh but a bit too salty. For main dishes I had the Short Rib Ragù Rigatoni Traditional slow braised short ribs ragù & parmigiano. My friend had the Tagliatelle Bolognese traditional beef ragù, parmigiano. She got a different kind of pasta though. Portions were big we both could not finish our dishes. We couldn't decide if they made their own pasta in house or not. It tasted very fresh. Our waiter was nice but he did disappear when it was time for us wanting the check and he did not come over once to see how we were doing. I asked for my food to go and when he came back to bring my food out he had asked my friend a few times if her dish was oksince to him it seemed like she did not eatmuch of it. It was nice of him to ask but I found it a bit weird especially since I saw her eat some if it and then she told me she was full. But they did not ask me or seemed worried that I was the one taking home the extras and I was not asked more than once if my food was ok. It just seemed like a weird thing to ask one friend and nit me. But in any case I would probably come here again and try out some more dishes.

Came here for restaurant week and it did not disappoint! Everything was good and delicious! Location: It is located along UWS. There is seating outside and inside. The seat that we were located is kinda tight because it's beside the door. Interior is cozy and you can really talk unlike other restaurants that are noisy.Service: hands down they were all nice! They take time to get your order and don't rush you. Very attentive staff!Food: since it's restaurant week, it is a set menu but we order food and cocktails. TUNA TARTARE: this is one of my favorite, specially if you put the tartare into the toasted bread. GRILLED PEACH BURRATA: very interesting take on a buratta, the peaches are crunchy I even thought it was apples. The burrata is fresh and silky. MEDITERRANEAN FARRO SALAD: this was my least favorite, it is so grainy and hard as if you are eating uncooked rice. SHORT RIB RAGU: omg so good, it is like pulled pork pasta. The pasta was aldente and the port was so soft and flavorful. TIRAMISU: my fave, because it's not that sweet! Slight bitter with the chocolate which is perfect. PANNA COTTA: so soft and creamy! COCKTAILS: they are all good, kudos to the bar tender!Price rating: 7/10. To be honest the price is not bad for the huge portions!I will visit it again because everything was delicious except the farro salad! Tiramisu was the best!

Came here for restaurant week and it was so so good!! They had a lot of vegetarian options which I loved! They gave us complimentary olives and bread. The bread was fine but the olives were great!Appetizers-- the cauliflower was AMAZING. It was deep fried so pretty heavy but the flavors were great and the cheese paired really well. I also enjoyed the salad. It didn't have too much dressing on it which I really liked but I know most people prefer more dressing. It paired well with the pasta as the pasta was much heavier.Main -- mushroom truffle pasta was great. Very buttery. I liked that the sauce wasn't too cheesy but had more mushrooms flavor.Dessert: the panna Cotta was nice, I really liked the strawberry drizzle with it. The tiramisu was really good as well. This place was a great restaurant week deal and the ambiance and service were phenomenal. The outdoors area was very cute.

We stumbled upon this place when we sat down at the "iconic" Carmine's and realized almost immediately that we made a mistake. We were all so glad we left and found this spot. The ambiance makes for a cute date night or a quiet respite from an overstimulating NY vacation. Every single dish was made to perfection and they put care into their desserts and after dinner drinks. Service was a bit slow, especially for a slow night. Recommend the Cappellacci AI Funghi, tiramisu, and the 20 year port.

Great vibes, great steak frites, great location. A breath of fresh air after my TERRIBLE steak frites at le monde. Also not terribly expensive for Manhattan. Definitely worth the price that's fer sure.

The food was delicious - highly recommend the vodka pasta. I got it gluten free (sensitivity) and still ended up very bloated. Our server was kind but we felt like the hostess wasn't very warm. The enclosed patio was pretty and quiet and the candles as dinner service began was a nice touch.

I came here for a birthday dinner with my husband. The date fell in the middle of the week, so we were looking for somewhere close to our apartment with a tasty menu and nice ambiance. We previously only had drinks during happy hour here, so we arrived excited to try the food. We started with the mussels as our appetizer - small portion but perfectly tasty and good as a starter. I ordered the gnocchi and my husband had the rigatoni. I really loved mine, and we agreed that the rigatoni was fine but not great. The ambiance in here is beautiful especially the outside setup with the floral arrangement, one of the prettiest ones I've seen in the city. We'll definitely return!

The staff was exceptionally friendly, always greeting us with warm smiles and attentive service. The food was nothing short of delightful, with fresh, flavorful dishes that delighted our taste buds, and the drinks were equally impressive, expertly crafted and refreshing. To top it all off, the music created an inviting atmosphere, perfectly complementing the ambiance and enhancing an already enjoyable experience!

Beautiful setting- homemade pastas were in perfect portions. Moules appetizer was amazing. Wines reasonably priced. Everyone was happy with their choices-- lamb ragout on gnocchi, cacio e pepe, and even the hamburger! Good service and outside was warm with heaters.
