Chuko consistently serves up some of the best ramen in the area, with options to suit any craving. If you're in the mood for a bold, spicy dish, their Kimchi Ramen is a fantastic choice, offering a perfect balance of heat and flavor. Alternatively, if you prefer something more traditional and comforting, the Miso Ramen is a rich and satisfying classic. Whatever you're craving, Chuko delivers a high-quality and flavorful experience every time. Perfect for both adventurous eaters and those who love a cozy, familiar meal!

Meh, this place wasn't really it for me. I was excited to try the Kimchi Ramen but it just tasted a bit funky/off. I love Kimchi and will but that in/on everything but this wasn't my favorite. I did like the pork buns.I liked the minimalist interior but did feel like the lighting was a bit bizzare.

Wanted to love this place but had several issues with my order. I got the miso ramen and was given the wrong protein but the server was accommodating and brought out another plate of the protein I wanted right away. However it was just so salty that it was almost inedible, also the broth wasn't as hot as I would've liked it, it was more lukewarm which was disappointing on a cold day. Extra chili oil that I ordered was also cold so didn't add much of it. Service was excellent and the noodles were cooked perfectly on the plus side.

Chuko is another place that I can't believe I never reviewed. For a good while, Chuko was my fave, eat-in, ramen restaurant in Brooklyn. It's cute and cozy even when there's a crowd. When I'm there, I pull up to the bar and order hot, delicious ramen with a cold can of ginger ale. It's been so long since my last visit-like yearrrs. It's currently freezing outside. I could really go for a steaming, hot bowl of spicy Miso ramen with a pork bun right now!

We came out here to try the ramen. It was a cozy little place. Recommend it for a date night. The shrimp bun was so crunch so def recommend if you're into crunchy textures.

Was craving ramen and Ramen Danbo stopped taking orders so tried this place as a backup option. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype and expectations I had for it. Got the regular miso ramen and vegetarian version, along with the salt and pepper wings. The ramen was ok at best. Both were fine, but not nearly as good as Danbo or Wanpaku. The wings themselves were a miss for me. Over breaded, burnt, and dry. Big miss there unfortunately. Will likely not order from here again, and try somewhere else if my go tos aren't available.

Dining here was mostly an ok experience and I would say the pros of the place are about the vibes. It's local, with a good amount of seating inside. Good spot to casually catch up with friends or whoever.I'm perhaps too critical around the food itself. Now, nothing is actually wrong with the food. I got the Sesame Garlic Ramen and nothing about the bowl was memorable. It was almost bland. It's disappointing because I love this area and it is a neighborhood spot. Noodles were ok.

Great food and service for the price. Seated right away on a Tuesday evening. Water refills and food were prompt. Ambiance is casual, clean, and cozy.Kikusui red sake and Kirin lager available, among other japanese alcohol.Sesame garlic ramen with ground pork, extra egg, woodear mushroom, and side of chili oil: 5/5. A great bowl of ramen. Excellent broth with great sides. Among my favorites.Pickled vegetables: 3/5. My friend's choice. They were fine, not memorable.Crispy brussels: 4.5/5. Very tasty. My choice. Liked the peppers (jalapenos or something similar) with them. My friend had the soy ramen and he said it was great. This is one of his top ramen joints in the area. I was visiting from out of town and was thoroughly pleased.

Had garlic sesame and miso ramen. The soup taste too bland, not rich enough. However, all ramen just came no slices of chasu or half egg. Yet they charge about the same price as other ramen shops that do. Thus I don't think the bang to the buck ratio is that great.

The garlic ramen was ok at best, but the service was horrendous and they were out of several items on the menu (social media from 1 year ago said the same). There was one waitress for the whole restaurant who did not check in with us and at the end, when we tipped accordingly, she demanded and bullied us into tipping more. I would never revisit this place.
