The pizza is so good! As they say, it's juicy. I enjoyed the jalapeño garlic speciality flavor. However, the line is insanely long so I'm not sure how long I'd wait again. If the line gets shorter ever, I will be back.

I've only gone once and got the special white pie (added pepperoni)We came around 4:30pm and waited for about 20 min. The pizza is delicious! There's a nice crispy bottom. The hot honey and spicy oil were a nice touch. I really want to try a red pie next time because there were little blobs of tomato that was absolutely delicious and left me wanting more.Counter space is very limited (prob only fits 6 people at a time). They have oregano, red pepper flakes and spicy oil available to add. They also have plates and napkins out. A to go box is extra (if you didn't originally order to go) but they offered us a paper bag when I was about to walk out with 2 slices on a plateIs it worth the price? Not exactly, but I know I'll want to go back and try the red pie before I make a decision. Between the 2 of us, we had 2 slices left (one of us was really hungry while the other was not). It was almost $40

I've salivated over this pizza for months, maybe years. It's made appearances all over my social media as the hardest to get pie and finally they opened up their own location. And after all the waiting it's just fine. The first was nice and crispy, plenty of tasty grease, a nice sauce and cheese. This pizza looks like it'd be a 10/10 but tastes like a solid 7-8. It's very good, but worth waiting 1 hour in line? Probably not, but worth trying out still.

Really solid new york pizza that's only sold as full pies. I was hearing bad things about the wait but on a Thursday afternoon it seemed like it wasn't too bad. The special this week was arugula which isn't my favorite, but they still did a great job. The cheese really is a great slice, so I'd definitely come back, especially if there was a bigger group to get through a full pie.

Came here on a Saturday around 4:35pm. The place is small. They have no sitting tables or chairs but you can stand and eat your pizza if you'd like. We were able to order immediately (4:37pm). The service was good. There were about five parties in front of us and it took around 20 minutes for our pizza to be ready. We ordered a regular pie. The pie was thin and crispy with a good ratio of sauce and cheese. The sauce lacked flavor and had a very strong oregano taste. It also lacked sweetness which made it unbalanced. I think cornmeal was added to the bottom of the crust which gave it a good texture. The experience while eating it was ok. The crust was burnt and never gave a doughy texture. It was overcooked. This pizza was not bad but I would say it is overhyped.

Honestly really really disappointed with this spot. Waited months to finally snag a reservation and waited very eagerly to try it, only to be seriously let down. The pizza is just fine, not outright bad but definitely nothing special. The ambiance is nothing crazy, just an old diner kind of thing which is eh in my opinion. The main problem with this place is how overhyped it is as well as the rude staff. They all didn't seem to care at all and never once checked in but then expected a 30% tip. The bad service in combination with the almost impossible availability, I think this place is a huge pass and you're not missing much if you never try it.

Truly some of the best pizza of this style you can find in NYC right now. Currently only operating via preorders that sell out instantly, he is now selling the scheduled pies out of the old Superiority Burger space on 9th St, which will soon be home to the storefront where you will you be able to place walk-up orders.I was fortunate enough to order soon after he started making pies out of his Bushwick apartment, and have now secured a pie from this new location, which is just as phenomenal. Start with an original to taste how good it is, and then definitely try the Demon Pig Boy.

It's an average New York style pizza. I suspect the higher reviews are more from the excitement of getting one at all than the actual quality of the pie. Solid, but not remarkable.

Absolutely worth the hype! The wait isn't too long, and the pizza is perfectly saucy, tangy, and crispy with a thin slice. The head chef is incredibly friendly, adding to the experience. However, seating is limited--we ended up taking our pizza to a nearby park to enjoy.
