This place is a pretty spacious place, and I loved how it wasn't too loud so we could have a good conversation. We ate for over 2 hours and loved the chili oil tendon as well as the pea shoots.I thought the spicy braised fish was alright but the portions were huge so appreciated that!

Good Szechuan food in the area, they take their spices seriously! But don't worry, they also have plenty of staples on the menu for folks with a less adventurous palate.My three pepper chicken dish was great, with seasoned chicken chunks and delicious roasted peppers. I do wish the chicken-to-pepper ratio was a bit higher.The lunch specials float around $15 per dish, and come with a soup or an egg roll. Pretty good deal for some quality food

After high tea a block away, somehow I wasn't fully satisfied so finding this hole in a wall that's absolutely delicious was amazing ! The decoration was so old school Chinese and the food. As this was technically our second meal , we were conservative ordering We had the salted spare ribs ( a bit spicy but very good ), salt and pepper squid ( this if for you if you're a fan of garlic ) and pea shoots with Garlic . I enjoyed the meal and the service which left me wanting to come back another time to try the other items on the menu .

Tasty takeout Chinese. The chicken was white meat, the shrimp was cooked perfectly with a perfect amount of flavor. The scallion pancake was divine. The fried rice was plentiful will definitely have to try in person!

Nice selection of Chinese food, the duck dish was delicious and very generous with the meat! We loved the bean dish as well, veggie plates can be fun and tasty too! Our servers were attentive, helped us with various things and refilled our water constantly. Ambiance is relaxed, good for family and friends gathering.

I'm a native New Yorker and had my first experience at the Chow House this past week. Quite honestly I think the best Chinese food I've had here in the city. Everything was delicious, but the green beans were the best I've ever had. Our party ordered family style, and while I thought I wasn't as hungry to keep eating, everything was so savory that I just couldn't stop! We will be back again! Thank you so much!!

Great spot for solid Chinese food in Greenwich. The Mapo tofu is a great price but could generally be spicier! To me this is a staple part of the neighborhood. The service is friendly and take out is almost always very timely and packaged well. Inside it's a casual but cozy vibe, and is a good place to meet friends.
