Delicious food here. Service is great, you can tell the owners really care about the food they serve. Platters are a good value. Space inside is compact but can accommodate.

First time and last time!I order 2 Aleksander kabab paying $45 for dry gyro over small pita bread. First of all gyro is not kabab! And serving meal like that in bay ridge will end to the garbage like I did with this unpleasant food.Asking the worker for the key to use the bathroom during I'm waiting he said sorry someone take the key and left! So the bathroom is locked!Call the restaurant asking for manager after I test the food to complain he said there is no manager or owner and he doesn't know when they will come. Even I told him I need to speak with the manager because I don't want to write a review but he didn't care.Never again

Customer service is top notch. I went here with my husband and toddler; I mentioned to my husband it was a little cold, so they immediately shut the door that leads to the outside dining space. Without asking they brought out a high chair. I was going to order a kebab gyro and they convinced me to get a lunch special which was $2 more, which included a side salad, rice and a drink. I usually don't bother getting a lunch special drink so was going to not bother picking one but they gently reminded me that I should get one, even a water. The food; absolutely generous. Take a room at my pictures. The plate of food + bread + drink was $14. I came in hungry, am a big eater and I left full. The doner slices were nicely crispy and juicy. A bit salty but pairs well with the bread/rice. Bread was a touch dense but they give you so much. The yogurt sauce is thin and not very flavorful, but it balances the saltiness of the donor slices. My toddler was very pleased with his chicken fingers, which thankfully was fried perfectly crispy without being greasy. Overall; really enjoyed the food, quantity/price and service. I'm an ex-elite who doesn't go out as much due to kids and am pretty fanatic about service, so hopefully that may help persuade you to visit this establishment!

This is my 2nd time here. I will be back again and again. The family who owns the restaurant is absolutely lovely. Happy and friendly. The place itself is small but not bad if you're own your own for a quick bite. Now for the food. So far we've had the lamb gyro, chicken gyro, chicken doner sandwich on Turkish bread and the hummus. Everything has been fresh and delicious. The Turkish bread is a must have. Portions are generous as well.

I did give back and try once again. I was in the mood for pita lamb sandwich. The staff is nice. There is a good amount but still..not the greatest quality of meat. I used a white sauce which was like water!!! What was it?? No tahini sauce and still not sure what the liquid white sauce was.

Authentic Turkish Mediterranean FoodThis mom & pop shop's chef & owner was a butcher so a meat eater myself, I knew I had to get the Chef's Mixed Grill over charcoal: Chicken doner, Kofte kebab, Adana kebab, lamb Shish kebab, served w/ rice & salad. We also tried the veggie kebab, cigar borek (golden fried pasty filled w/ feta cheese & parsley, baklava, and warm fresh bread straight from the Turkish oven! We loved trying the Turkish sodas, Turkish coffee, and amazing baklava! They also just opened a new winter garden in the back with heaters!

I'm writing this review from my car right now as I'm driving to a Turkish restaurant close to where I live to buy white and hot sauce. I saw that this place was close to my work place so I ordered chicken and lamb gyro to go. I got the food and was excited to try it out. To. My dismay... They forgot the white and hot sauce. The food was seasoned well and those working there seemed nice but white and hot sauce is a MUST. They said they'd bring it to me, but once I told them I live in Staten Island, they apologized. I'm hoping this review prevents them from making the same mistake next time.
