Our experience at Chingoo is a good one. Despite the funky smell when we first walked in, the food are delicious and fresh. Our favorite is the seafood pancake. It is a must order. One of the pancake we have ever had for a long time. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Get sizzling pot bimbibap if you decid to get rice. I got fried tofu bimbibap and the pot stays hot through my whole meal. Hubby got the soup one I forgot the name but it's a beef soup with veggies and yam noodles. The soup taste so good especially on a cold day like today. Dear daughter got the bulgogi. It was not overly sweet like other bulgogi. It came out sizzling hot also. Make sure you try the kimchi! We got three refills. The best kimchi I ever had. Pairs really good with our dishes. Even my 16 yr old daughter said it fits her taste. Food is the whole 4 stars. Take one star for the foul smell when we first walked in. It's a very weird smell that we must take one star off.

Dined in on a Thursday night, and there were a couple tables empty. Atmosphere gives off pop shop. Everything was well seasoned except the stew, we only had Kimchi as the banchan and it wasn't spicy but the flavor was there. One of the best kimchis we've had. The dishes are a bit small but it's enough for one person to finish.

Really good dining experience, food was quite good. Small and intimate restaurant with not too many workers but service was lacking a little bit as it took a while for our orders to get taken. The fries were crispy and warm. The yukaejang was good and honestly had enough noodles in it so unless you want a total noodle dish, order it normally. Really no comments on food as it was all delicious when it came out.

Heck. Yessss. I had to write a review for this homey vibes gem in BK! We got soju, tteokbokki, fried chicken wings, and galbi. Every bite was better than the last. Galbi- tender and umami-rich; wings- shatteringly crisp and juicy; tteok- perfectly chewy with great sweet-heat.The person who greeted, seated, and served my brother and I was so lovely.If you have a low tolerance for spicy things, perhaps consider mentioning that to your server.
