After enjoying cocktails at Peachy's Cocktail Bar (downstairs), the vibes continued at Chinese Tuxedo and we were definitely ready to try a couple of menu items. - Crispy eggplant (crispy, flavorful, a tad oily)- Spicy cucumbers (nice spice to it)- Shrimp & garlic chive crystal dumplings (not bad)- Vegetarian xo fried rice (delicious!)- Stir fried snake river beef sirloin (beef was cooked perfectly)- Espresso martini - Paradise park cocktail They're small plates so order a couple to share amongst each other. Highly suggest making reservations to both spots. I booked via Resy and was able to call to get reservations close enough between the bar and dinner. They were so accommodating. Definitely would visit again for date night or with my girls.

Really enjoyed dinner here. Make sure to get reservations as it gets crowded on weekend nights. The interior surprised me with how big it was and the ambiance was great. The food items are delicious. Their dumplings and eggplant dishes were really good. Loved the twist on some of the items too.

Incredible Experience at Chinese TuxedoFrom the moment we walked in, Chinese Tuxedo was something special. The entrance leads you down into a beautifully decorated lower dining room with a vibe that's both elegant and inviting. The service was top-notch--there was always someone checking in, making sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. We had an early reservation, but the 2.5 hours flew by so fast it felt like minutes. Now, the food--this isn't your typical Chinese restaurant. Every dish had spectacular flavors, but what really stood out were the unique offerings I'd never even heard of before. On top of that, the plating was incredibly creative, making each dish feel like an experience on its own.Overall, an unforgettable meal and one I'd highly recommend. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Came for a work dinner. Pre-fix menu. They have a private room that they setup for large parties (~20 ppl). The bought out all shared plates. A fee highlights were the burrata with a twist, dumplings, beef, some other vegetarian dishes i cant remember. The staff was great at explaining all the dishes and were very attentive. Will def be coming back another time for dinner with a smaller group.

Great ambiance, lively music, awesome vibe for a date or hangout with friends & the free speak easy bar & lounge in the basement is a great touch for an after dinner event! Oh & there's free coat check as well :)Had the squid ink noodles, shrimp dumplings & branzino...A+ for flavors! The fried eggplant was extremely oily so wouldn't re-order. The mocktail with the lemongrass was excellent! The blueberry lemon one, was just too flavorless & sour. Oolong tea refills was a nice touch. Waiters were pleasant, the dimly lit ambiance was sexy, and the street it's on gives Thailand vibes! Hard to secure a last min reservation without booking in advance but sooooo worth a visit!

If you ever thought of coming here...do it! Everything on the menu was superb! The service was just as great. The only downfall was it was a bit chilly inside the restaurant. The ambiance was great. Dim liting makes it a cute date night or a spot for dinner with the gals! The crispy pork was out of of this world... crispy on the top and soft at the bottom. The squid ink pasta was one of my faves! Will definitely be coming back!

FOOD AMAZING!!! BEING RUSHED OUT, NOT SO MUCH!The food was FANTASTIC! Loved the quality and reasonably priced appetizers and starters. Some of the entrees are overpriced. My firmed and I stuck to apps and rice and our bill was around $115. More details later. The mezcal drink was a standout! The reason for not giving 5 stars is that we were rushed out of our table. Asked 3 times if we were ready to pay by three different people after the checkbook had been on our table for only 10 minutes. We arrived at 5:35 and were being rushed out by 7:10 once we finished desert. This is not a good way to end with customers. One woman in black who looked like the manger started removing things from our table telling us to have a good night after we made our payment with the woman in a white top and beige pants. The same woman in white advised us that there was a speakeasy that she could escort us to when we were ready. (We had to use the restroom after getting up so urgently.) I was ready to give this place 5 stars for food and the service throughout the dinner, but I will be giving 4 stars due to the poorly rushed exit. It makes guests feel unwelcome especially after such a great meal. It's very disappointing. I understand there is a time limit per table especially on a Friday night but we were not over this limit and even if we were getting close to the limit, a proper way of executing getting our table is to offer a courtesy reminder at least 15 minutes before you want to give our table away. Menu Highlights:Drink: Five Points SourFood: Crispy Eggplant, Berkshire Pork, shrimp and garlic dumplings, and Johnny fried Rice. Desert: Creme Brûlée TartYou can't go wrong selecting these items unless you don't eat pork. My faves were the eggplant, rice and pork. So good and flavorful. Loved the bed of spinach greens that the pork was on top of. I would definitely come back here. Their speakeasy below is cute too. Get there early though because it's not that big and not many seats for the crowd that comes in after 8.

Very cool space -- it used to be an opera house. The food was good, especially the dumplings and pork. My only complaint would be that some of the food was lukewarm. Service was great!

I had really high hopes for Chinese tuxedo, we had heard so many good things about it, and we're itching to try it and got a reservation sometime in October. Walking into the restaurant, I was instantly blown away by the low lights, and the leafy decoration in the main dining room down the stairs. They get major points for the ambience. Service is impeccable, the servers, and everyone who work there are so professional. They really did their best to give you a fine dining experience. As for the food, it was good, but it didn't blow me away? It's Chinese food, and while I do, love Asian food at any time, I felt that the price didn't quite match the Deport or the food that was served. And this is just coming from the perspective of being in Chinatown and knowing that I can get a whole lot more for a whole lot less.I got a Leche martini, and I really enjoyed that. It was well-made, slightly frothy, and not too sweet! It was a very nice dining experience, and I would go back again maybe just for a drink at the bar

Loved the atmosphere here - very ~vibey~ & dim lighting which made it perfect for a late night dinner. Cocktails/wine list were a bit pricey so opted for a beer which was solid. The crispy pork & chive dumplings were delicious and shrimp & garlic chive crystal dumplings were also really good. The Tuxedo style Dan Dan noodles were flavorful and a good portion for sharing. Service was fast although they forgot to bring an appetizer but took it off the bill with no problems!
