Great food, attentive service, and a great location. The ambience is a little dark so bring your reading glasses. A great, intimate vibe, and guests of all types. Prices are big, but so are the portions, and the flavors and preparations are great.

I would rate service a 10, welcoming, attentive and courteous The ambiance is great for a dinner date, it's located right under a hotel so convenient for out of towners. I went with my little girl as a mother daughter date and it was niceAs for the food, this is where my rating goes down because for what it is priced at I would've expected better. It wasn't all bad, the house bread is made fresh so that was exceptionally delicious along with the olives and cheese. My favorite dish to always order in any Italian restaurant is the baked clams so I have had a handful of clams at different locations to compare. For me, the clams breading was dry and the clams itself a little too squishy for me. My daughter who loves linguine with clams, did not like the clams at all so it seemed it was how the clams were cooked or where they were getting it from. For the price I was paying it was pretty disappointing. As for my dish, rigatoni and sausage was good. The pink sauce was delicious, would recommend

The ambiance was very nice, and the service was excellent, very efficient, maybe too efficient, which seems like an oxymoron but, we barely got a chance to enjoy the experience. We sat down, ordered drinks, then bam salad arrived, and before taking a bite our appetizer arrived, and then our entrees shortly after which made the whole experience rushed. I wanted to enjoy each dish, but felt a rush to do so, and it made us feel they wanted to turn the tables, which normally I wouldn't complain about efficient service but this was intense. So much so I didn't even get a chance to rest before the next dish. The food was great, just felt like a fine dining experience that felt more like watching an eating contest.

I was excited to go to the restaurant belonging to a character in one of my favorite movies, but left disappointed. The food was very ordinary and bland. My seafood risotto was more like rice with seafood and the sauce on the gnocchi was tasteless. Since non of the staff were Italian I wonder who is cooking? This is not a place I would recommend for real Italian food. Perhaps if you are in Times Square and Olive Garden is busy this would be an upgraded experience.

What an incredible spot in NyC. Great Italian food with a terrific staff! The place is gorgeous and laid out well! Don't let their being in a Hilton fool you! The food and staff are 1st class!I started with a nice Prosecco with an olive and cheese plate. The Cesar salad was perfect. The waiter helped me craft a special red pasta with the sausage/broccoli rave and vodka sauce! Unbelievable!I finished with an afagado and a house made blueberry grappa!!! WoW, just wow!Definitely worth a stop in the city!!!

I've been meaning to try this place for quite some time and I am glad we finally did. The atmosphere was fantastic - think New York lounge music playing softly (our server was kind enough to find out which YouTube station it was, and now it's in my playlist!). It felt like a little vacation from the hustle and bustle. It's located inside a hotel, so must walk into the hotel and past the reception desk to get to the entrance of the restaurant. We started with a complimentary appetizer of marinated olives and cheese, which was a nice way to begin the meal. The bread basket was a highlight - delicious fresh bread perfect for dipping in the flavorful oil mixed with anchovies and garlic. This dip had a strong anchovy presence, so be aware if that's not your thing. The Chicken Rollatini was a crowd-pleaser, coming with creamy whipped mashed potatoes, perfectly seasoned green beans and carrots. For the seafood lovers, the Shrimp Scampi was outrageous! The 4 huge shrimp were plump and juicy, bathed in a lemony garlic sauce with cherry tomatoes. The risotto it came with was a generous portion, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. GROWS: While some enjoy it, the huge stack of Eggplant Parmesan was made with sauce bit on the sweet side. It wasn't bad, but not the classic savory red sauce you might expect. GLOWS: The service was friendly and attentive without rushing us. The atmosphere was elegant yet not ostentatious. This place is perfect for a semi-casual Italian dinner with friends, a post-theater meal, or date night. Portions are generous and dishes were memorable enough to return.

We were looking for an oyster happy hour and saw the sign here for $1.50 oysters. Drinks were about $18 but figured we would just get one. We were greeted warmly and asked to sit at the high top. We each ordered a dozen oysters which came out very quickly. It came with cocktail sauce and a lot of horse radish. These were some of the best oysters I've had in a long time. They were plump and cold with some brininess. My Manhattan was okay. We ended up getting another round of drinks and splitting another dozen. Service here is fantastic. Better than I expected of a restaurant I think is attached to a hotel. Would come back for oysters and try some other dishes.

I love the movies Chaz Palminteri has been in, so why not try the restaurant named after him?My hotel was adjacent to the restaurant. Friendly employees and very cozy ambiance. I love low lighting.I wanted the first night dessert to go. I wanted creme Brûlée. However the waiter said they can't make it to go. Odd. Even if my hotel was in the same location. Bummer. So I ordered Tiramisu. While I was waiting staff were attentive and nice. I cant say that for my dessert. It tasted bland. My cake was cold like almost frozen. Barely any hint of liquor. The worst tiramiau I had ever had. Whole Foods would have been more a better choice, and over priced. The strawberries weren't ripe yet. Very overpriced too. Looking at the Yelp pics, it looks so different or they just didn't care or put any effort in mine since I only ordered one thing.I would love to try other dishes but looking at other reviews, I'll pass.

Came here for my 15 year anniversary. Loved the low lighting inside it felt cozy and warm. The service was amazing and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious down to the desserts. The drinks were ok and I thought it needed more liquor inside. Told staff and on the next round the drinks were better. I had a great time and will return.

I brought 7 people to this Resturant for lunch. They were important clients and business associates. The Resturant was not busy at all but from the moment we sat down we waited and waited and waited for someone to bring water, bread and menus. After over a half hour wait, we ordered food from the price fixed menu. It took almost an hour to bring the food. When they did arrived they brought out two plates then 10 minutes later 3 more then the remaining dishes. We finally had enough after 1-11/2 hours of this nonsense. I complained to the manager who ignored my complaint and said food will be right out. He never came over to apologize or see how things were going. Whoever, hired him as manager should be fired along with him. This was our first and last time at this restaurant. Food was fair l,service was a total disaster. They should shut this place down ASAP!!!
