I was introduced to this Vegan Thai restaurant by way of having lunch on set last week. This was so delicious I had to find out where it was from. The meal was so appetizing and flavorful. I am definitely going to find visit their location and try more of their dishes.

Taste was good 6/10, good but not great for example the green curry felt kind of watered down compared to most other places I've ate at. Portion sizes were very small for the price. I only got a very small amount of rice for two dishes even though they both were to come with rice (in pic). Service was decent had to wait for a long time to get the food and for someone to come by. Ambiance was decent it's a little close to others but it's nyc so don't expect a massive seating space. There's nice dividers between tables but that's all. Nice decorations but music was a little loud. Overall decent probably won't come back though.

SERVICE- located off of 5th street and 2nd avenue- surrounding area is all residential- interior decor looks like it was someone's house- many people doing takeout - service is okay but takes a while to get you food MENU- Asian inspired dishes- all vegan - average price ($17 per entree)FOOD- noodle coconut milk soup (4/10): thin coconut broth with rice noodles and mixed vegetables. I was hoping for this to be closer to the texture of khao soi but it felt like a broth with a touch of coconut milk. There was not much flavor in the broth and it did not feel like it had simmered for long enough for the flavor to disperse. While there was a good amount of vegetables, it would have been nice to have tofu in it for some extra protein. - mountain curry with brown rice (6/10): sautéed curry on a bed of steamed vegetables served with choice of rice. This dish seemed unique as we had not seen mountain curry on many other menus. I was expecting it to be more liquid but this came out looking like a stir fry. You need to mix it very well to avoid eating plain steamed vegetables. I liked the flavor of this better than the coconut soup. WOULD I GO BACK? Unfortunately not. The food was not wowing enough to return

Incredible food, service and ambiance. It's not a loud place, but rather had more of a zen feel with tables that are separated well. They have vegan versions of some more traditional Thai dishes like haw mok, laab and pad woon sen that are harder to find at other restaurants. The flavors are really spot on and the food felt healthier than some other Thai places (less oil or coconut milk, more flavor). And the service was incredibly friendly. It felt like I was dining in a friend's home.

What a unique and cool restaurant! They serve primarily Thai food but also have a variety of dishes that cater to more niche diets such as Jain, fruitarian, Swaminarayan, and oil-free. This makes it one of the few restaurants in the city compatible with a whole foods/plant-based diet. After we sat down, the waitress brought us out a couple complimentary appetizers, which was so kind, and we absolutely loved them (glass noodle salad - possibly the best dish we had all night - and steamed dumplings). We ordered the green papaya salad with seitan (excellent), the summer rolls (so fresh and tasty), and one of the curries. I actually had some issues with the curry, because I tried to order the Gaeng Som (Orange Curry) which was listed on their website as being free of oils and coconut milk, which is very important to my dietary preferences. This didn't appear on the menu we were provided in the restaurant. When I asked the waitress about it, she didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I pulled up the listing on the website and showed it to her, and she said she could make that for us. She brought out an incredibly tasty bowl of orange curry with rice noodles and vegetables, but I am 99% sure it was full of coconut milk. Disappointing, since I had chosen this restaurant because of their commitment to accommodating dietary preferences like mine.

Food is tasty, but for the price and portions not worth it. Food looks nothing like photo, I get that maybe the owners rents are expensive, but to charge this much, just because it's vegan is insane. I don't even know if I'm paying for organic vegetables. The sticky rice was super tiny, I mean I usually share with my hubby, but this was enough for a toddler, for 14$ and missing bananas insane. I did call however and they apologized for the missing bananas and only charged 7$, but the whole dessert I'd say is maybe worth 5 dollars with the bananas. Btw this is without even taking a bite, that's how it came.
