100% a hidden gem in Greenpoint! Cecily is definitely on my revisit list.We had branzino fish, the best-grilled fish I had in 2025 now, there is lemongrass, onion, and lemon inside the fish, and it contains umami, plants, and wood flavor in the fish.Also very recommend the crab and duck leg! These dishes are must-haves if you visit this place, other than that we had rice, oranges and salads as well. All of them are super good side dishes, but not as impressive as the branzino (as we know, we always need to pair the main dishes). The wine selection is interesting, but not a lot of options, but is good to try a dry sparkling!

I'm going to be critical as I think they could be great. The food is AMAZING. Easily comparable to Michelin starred restaurants. Why 4 stars then? When you go to a starred restaurant you never feel inconvenienced, every exchange I had here felt like I was asking for a favor. Additionally, they did a really poor job providing proper utensils. Cutting thick vegetables and meat with a butter knife? Common...Finally, though the design was well done, the layout is terrible. It feels like every seat is going to get bumped into. Again, I'm being critical as I think this could be a great restaurant. Easily 5 on yelp. With a few tweaks, could easily have a star. Rooting for you all!

Cecily was good, but I fear I expected more from this restaurant. The service and ambience were great, but I felt like each dish that I had was trying to do a little bit too much. There were a lot of flavors coming together and it felt like sometimes the flavored clashed or I couldn't really make out what the dish was trying to be. None of the items were particularly memorable, but I did like the skate wing! Perhaps I was there on an off day, but I left feeling a bit disappointed.

Food 9/10A pleasant surprise that blew me away. The mussel toast soaked up the juice just right, with a very generous amount of mussel. The roasted chicken might be one of the best I've ever had, so tender I wonder how they cooked it. Atmosphere 9/10We were originally seated in a stuffy corner without a lot of ventilation. Thankfully, we requested to move to the bar, and that was a much better spot to enjoy the atmosphere. Super vibey date spot, love the spacious interior and high ceiling. Service 7/10Standard service, chill vibes overall.

Wow! Talk about a hidden gem.This place has the perfect combination of delicious food, great service, and a beautiful ambiance. Everything we ordered (fish, pork chop, rice dish, and mussel toast) was excellent but the star of the show is definitely the mussel toast - its a unique dish that puts this place on the map!

We went to Cecily for an event in June, and got to try some of their dishes. The inside is a bit smaller than I thought, or it is more of an obscure dining room shape. They have a fully stocked bar, and a super friendly and talented bartender. We had a few cocktails; Pink Panther, Cecily Manhattan, and Passenger Pigeon. The Pink Panther was not pink as I had hoped, but it was tasty. Fruity and elegantly sweet, really nice cocktail. Cecily Manhattan was strong, reminded me of Old Fashion. A nice, relaxing drink in the evening. Passenger Pigeon was aromatic and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness.Food we tried:Grilled Scallops had a great aroma of the yuzu. They were plump and soft, perfect texture, delicious! Little Gem Caesar was super fresh. The piparra pepper had a nice little kick, Anchovies gave bold flavor and added texture. Mussel Toast was divine! Garlic aioli is the bomb, while chili butter gives subtle kick that is so delightful. Half Roasted Chicken was super moist, and packed with flavor. So tender, easy to cut with butter knife. It had crispy exterior, each bite was amazing. For dessert, we had Mom's Strawberry Cake. It was magically delicious. I believe they added strawberry compote into the whipped cream, making it extra flavorful and tasty. It had loads of fresh strawberry compote under the cream. The staffs were nice, they took a really good care of us during the event. The drinks and food were great, we enjoyed them all. This is such a neighborhood gem, we would love to go back again in a near future to try more of their dishes!

Cecily is a lovely neighborhood gem. I celebrated my birthday here and loved it for the ambiance and intimacy. It's small, but not stuffy, the service is top notch and it is really a memorable spot for a special gathering. The food is delightful, though some flavors were more memorable than others. The skate wing was a favorite and the sweet potato dessert really wow-ed us. They have a long selection of wines, we opted for a bottle of the Spanish orange wine which was so rich in honey notes. Loved this place and will come back for the rotating menus.

Mussel Toast was tasty, rich, textured.Charred Wax Bean was abit raw.Pepper Chicharrones was good as snacks.Hamachi Crudo was okay.Menu is small.

Made a reservation and came with a friend for dinner on a weeknight. I had a glass of a tasty white and we shared:+ Mussels toast+ Fava and butter beans+ Green asparagus+ Scallop crudo+ Ramp salami + Strawberry cake The highlights were the mussels toast and the cake. Ramp salami was also fab. The scallop was tasty but TINY for $25. Scallop crudo is on a ton of menus right now and I'm used to small portions, but this was comical. Overall I thought it was good, but not mindblowing. Would recommend for wine and maybe a light bite - not necessarily full dinner. Service was great!

Yummy wines and small plates. Standouts were the mussels and fried fish. Cute environment good for date night
