What a cozy place to have dinner at! Of course we got dragged in by one of the gentlemen at the door who was heavily flirting with my boyfriend's little sister and she made us eat there for dinner before we travelled out. Happy we did try it tho because it was really good. I am born in Rome and grew up eating the best carbonara. I have yet to find a place that makes it exactly like I grew up with BUT this place definitely comes close. I loved my Carbonara, the sauce was rich, perfect amount of guanciale. If you want to stick with a classic dish, this will do it for you. My boyfriend tried the shrimp scampi and that was the best dish on our table by far. While I loved my carbonara, the lemon sauce and the fresh shrimp really blended together for a tasty, refreshing and delicious dish. Everyone at the table kept stealing pasta from his plate. That's how you know it was good. My boyfriend's sister tried the lobster ravioli and she liked it but nothing special. Now everytime we go to Europe we always get Hugo's. Not sure why everyone is obsessed with Aperol Spritz when Hugo exists. It's the most refreshing and easy to pair with pasta drink you can get. Great experience overall!

Well, what a huge disappointment! Bread was hard, Caesar salad was so, so - some of the lettuce was discolored and the pasta sauce was mediocre... My spaghetti sauce is wayyyyyy more top notch tasting than there's will ever be. Yes...., we are Italian Food Snobs and this place will definitely NOT take your breath away...Respectfully,Half Italian/Half Cajun!

Busy restaurant in Little Italy. Great service and great food. The table settings were close so it did feel like you were listening in on conversations but it was a fun dinner experience before a night out.

I came here on a Thursday during San Gennaro, probably one of the busiest time to go to Little Italy but I was seated very quickly and had great service! The owner was kind and gave us a nice spot on the strip to watch the parade walkers and listen to the live singer next door. We had a couple italian beers and the spaghetti and lasagna. Both were delicious! I would definitely go back.

I came hear a couple weeks ago on the last day of the Feast of San Gennaro festival with a friend . We stopped in because the staff was very engaging with passerby's. We walked and were seated immediately. The restaurant was lively and filled with laughter. I ordered the cacio e Pepe with chicken. My friend ordered the lobster ravioli. My dish was perfectly seasoned and portion was just right. I devoured it. My friend loved the lobster ravioli, she was kind of enough to share a little with me. And it was delicious. We enjoyed our meal with some glasses of red wine. Casa D'Angelo is a cozy Italian restaurant with great food and fun people. Space can be a little tight but you won't notice because you will be enjoying the food so much.

Nice outdoor seating area, welcoming waiters. We were sat as a party of 5 immediately at 7pm. We were given the specials by Leo who was great at recommendations and a basket of bread and bowl of cheese. We made our choices and the food came out quickly, the waiters checked in on water levels and how we liked the food. Paying the check was easy too.

This place was really welcoming and their customer service was really amazing. However, I would say their pasta isn't the most amazing I've ever had. It was still really solid, so I would still recommend it!

Family owned, authentic Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Recommend making a reservation because they fill up fast. After being seated we were presented bread, oil, and parmigiana cheese. Service was great! Their pasta portions are large, so it was just perfect trying a little of everything family style. Sadly we didn't have any room for dessert.

We were initially planning on going to a restaurant down the street, but were convinced on the street to give them a try. Would HIGHLY recommend! Being in NYC with a newborn (and stroller) is hard and the staff here made us feel like royalty. The restaurant was calm with great music and a nice feel. The Food was next level to boot! I had the Rigatoni Vodka and my wife had the Gnocchi, we were both very pleased. This place is amazing and we will 1000% be back on our next trip to NYC.
