I love Calexico! I come here regularly with friends and family and am never disappointed. I recommend the barbacoa quesadilla (the caramelized onions are excellent) and any of the burrito bowls. Calexico's food AND drinks are good, which I appreciate. Any of their frozen margs are wonderful. The paloma is delicious as well. The service is consistent and kind. The outdoor seating on the sidewalk is a little crowded but that's not their fault, it's just the location. Inside is lovely.

I've been to Calexico several times and am never disappointed by the food. It's dependable cali-mex, and I always leave full and satisfied! I typicall get the tostada salad (which is deceptively filling!!), and this time tried the smoked queso, which was delish! My friend got an assortment of tacos (fish, shrimp, chicken), and enjoyed all of them!Their drink menu looks delicious - an assortment of margaritas and other cocktails, all reasonably priced (less that $15). While I've only been here in the daytime, I would totally come back in the evening for some margs and chips and gossip with a girlfriend!! The restaurant is very cute and a nice place to hang with friends, family, or colleagues! The people working there have always been very kind to me.

Food is pretty good overall. I wouldn't say it's anything special, but good nonetheless. The esquite is elite and the salsas that come with the chips and salsa is really good. The tacos were decent at best. The fried chicken taco tasted like the old McDonald's snack wrap, which was coolI guess. Bartender service was subpar. Got our drinks after we finished both our apps and entree and just slammed them because we were ready to go at that point. I had forgotten we ordered them. Overall, decent place for a causal night out.

Everything was fresh and flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian options. The service was quick and the staff were kind. The restaurant is large and can accommodate larger parties well. I came with a 15+ group. I definitely recommend stopping by Calexico in Park Slope.

If you're in to tacos or thinking of trying them or just in the mood for something new, this is the place for you. The food is always hot fresh. The flavor explosion that you will experience will be out of this world. From the Baja Fish taco to the Fried chicken taco to there nachos with Barbacoa meat, you won't go wrong. Or if you having a tuff day check out there cocktails! The Paloma is one of my favorites. The ambience is especially well maintained and the service is exceptional. I'm never disappointed when I come here. The food, the flavor, the small talk with the servers and management, it feels like a home away from home. Make this place your next stop when you get the hunger bite. You won't be disappointed!
