Cozy vibes for a cute catch up or even a solo date! Solid spot for a slow relaxed meal. Pro tip! Ask for the soup of the day, hits even on a warm day

Cute atmosphere, nice servers and host, good food. Was overpriced but that's to be expected from a trendy NYC cafe. Overall great atmosphere!

Cozy restaurant in the west village, has a charming ambiance and perfect place for date night! Food is good not anything mind blowing but I enjoyed the apps and my main dish!

I stopped by Cafe Cluny for Sunday brunch, as I was staying right next door. I had the Filthy martini & a bowl of French Onion Soup - both were very good. We sat on the patio on a nice fall afternoon & the people watching was great. The service was very attentive given how busy they were. I enjoyed it & I'm glad I finally stopped in.

I've been wanting to try this trendy celeb-hotspot French restaurant in the West Village for a while and was excited when my friend suggested we go for dinner. The interior is cozy and has a charming cafe style decor, but is on the smaller side. They also have a patio with outdoor seating and fans, which is where we sat for a 7 pm dinner reservation in the summer (which did get a bit too hot!).I personally love eating breakfast foods all day (and love French omelettes), so I ordered the Omelette with sautéed mushrooms, ham, sautéed onions, and Gruyère. It came with a side of fries. My friend got the Cluny Burger. My omelette was tasty, not as fluffy as it could've been but was still airy and the fillings were delicious. The fries were crispy and salty. I tried a bite of my friend's burger and it was good, but not great. I also ordered a glass of Chablis (nice and refreshing on a hot day). Service was helpful and very attentive. Overall I'm glad I got the chance to try this place, but am not sure if I'd come back. The food was good, but pricey. Being in West Village the overall vibe is fun, and I did enjoy sitting outside for the people-watching aspect despite the heat.

A go-to 1st night in New York kind of vibe for us. Not particularly high expectations on food but the burger was spectacular as voted by 2 out of 3 of our party. The 3rd one had something else so it doesn't count !. As is typical these days, wine was ridiculously expensive. I found it difficult to find anything potable under $50. Service was efficient and friendly suiting our jet-lagged state of wakefulness. Doesn't disappoint and we will return.

We recently dined here and it did not disappoint. The whole atmosphere is charming. The waitstaff were super attentive and friendly. We had a table in the front room and it was very cozy. We all started with a cocktail and appetizers. The calamari was amazing as well as the zucchini fries. We ordered our main course and it all came it fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend!

Friend recommended this restaurant. He made a reservation and we were seated right away at one of the tables near the entrance. The spacing of the seats were a bit tight and were literally inches away from another. Other than that that, the service was good.Ordered the following dishes: Appetizers/Side to share:- Half dozen island creek oysters $24 - Forest Mushrooms $12- Chicken dumplings buffalo style $19Drinks: Felt a bit pressured to get a drink as someone came and asked if we would like to order a drink yet for a few times while we were still talking - Paper plane, Filthy Martini, The Cluny, Espresso Martini $18 eachEntrees: - Roast All Natural Half Chicken Au Jus $32- Pan Roasted Atlantic Cod $39- Pan Roasted Faroe Island Salmon $35- The Cluny Burger $27Dessert:- Molten Chocolate Cake- One, Two, Three Scoops of Odeon Ice CreamOysters and mushrooms were amazing! As a person who rarely eats raw oysters, these oysters were fresh! Also wish the portion was more for the mushrooms because I would have gotten side by myself haha it was THAT good! Wouldn't mind coming back again and trying other items on the menu, maybe for brunch?

Food and service were great, just a tad overpriced. Stopped by for lunch and had the burger and it was perfectly cooked to a medium with a nice crisp, perfectly dressed mixed green salad on the side. Even though it's NYC, there are still cheaper places to be had for the same quality of food and service though. It's a cute little place and a little off the beaten path, but that adds to its charm. I'd stop by if I were in the area and needed a place for respite walking through the city.
