"This is my most-visited NY restaurant by a wide margin. I haven't reviewed it for fear of bringing attention to it. I can almost always get a table without a reservation. I believe this is due to the popularity of a serviceable, but hip Vietnamese option nearby. This is the best Banh Mi I have had. I keep trying others, but the bread here is unmatched. I'm told they get it fresh from a bakery in Brooklyn. The spiced pork sausage they use is also perfect. The pho can b from exceptional to greatest of all time. I love this place with all my heart.Almost forgot the rolls! The cha gio are THE BEST. Not just saying that. They are the best in existence (US)."
"One of the best banh mi I have ever had. The 14 hour brisket is immaculate. Great people watching and crunchy bread"

"@tenten_nyc is a vietnamese restaurant that specializes in northern style pho! there are four options you can choose from. they also sell coffee and other drinks! this is the perfect place to go to on a cold winter day.ft:-#2: rice noodle with beef shin and brisket: the main thing i noticed was that the noodles were wider. the broth was very delicious in terms of flavoring and was perfectly salted. the beef was insanely tender. overall, a pretty good bowl of pho. i got fried dough sticks on the side and i really recommend it. fried dough sticks were a large part of my childhood!-#3: rice noodle with sauteed beef and garlic: the broth in this bowl was noticeably different from the other bowl, and it was quite delicious. it was definitely not the "normal" pho broth flavor that i was imagining, but nevertheless, really delicious. the sautéed beef was seasoned nicely, and definitely added more flavor to the broth. -lemongrass peach tea with fresh peach and orange slices: wow!!! i really loved this drink! the peach was the most prevalent flavor, but mixed well with everything else. it isn't too too peachy which i like. super refreshing!tènten119 Baxter St Unit B, New York, NY 10013thank you for having me follow @rebeccatakesnyc for more nyc content!"
"I come here sometimes because it's close to my workplace. I've gotten the grilled chicken box and a bahn mi before and they're okay - there are definitely better places in Brooklyn but if you're looking for something quick and not bad, this could be a good spot."
"As a big fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I found the flavors of the food we had to be inconsistent. The pho broth was too salty for my liking, and the fried calamari had an excessive amount of breading. However, the bo luc lac was delicious. The service was friendly!"
"I made an Ubereats delivery since I was craving some heartwarming pho on a cold, chilly night. The order was well packaged and prepared in a timely manner. I ordered the 5 Spice Special Pho ($22), 6 pcs Rooster Wings ($13), and Summer Rolls ($12). While a bit pricey, the pho did includes lots of toppings and ingredients. The special had a variety of meats like sliced raw angus round eye, sliced angus brisket, braised boneless beef ribs, and Vietnamese beef balls. The broth is flavorful and it was a delicious bowl of pho. I also enjoyed the wings, which were crispy and covered in a garlic chili dressing. The summer rolls were also fresh, but the rice paper was on the thicker side.Overall, my meal here was delicious and definitely satisfied my Vietnamese cravings. It is on the pricey side though."
"We didn't have a reservation but we had the full menu available in the bar lounge area. Enjoyed every bite and cocktails were lovely !"
"One of the best food deliveries in a long time- if their delivered Pho is this good, I can't imagine how amazing it is at the restaurant! I ordered extra broth, and was able to have Pho for 2 days! The lemongrass chicken is seasoned to perfection, and the broth was so good, I had a cup for breakfast like it was tea. Absolutely perfect order, arrived quickly, their delivery bags are so sturdy and totally reusable! Love this spot."
"A super cute bakery! There's not much seating, just a small bench in the front corner and two tables, maybe fits 4-5 people? Delicious coffee and bakery! I asked the cashier and it's a chain from Vietnam! The coffee is very strong Vietnamese coffee and with the Pandan cream foam, super flavorful cream!I got the coconut Pandan sticky rice and holy- it's has such flavorful coconut cream and the sticky rice was so flavorful! It is pretty pricey, $16 for it but shared between two people it's very filling and worth it :)"
"The Taro bubble tea was out of this world. So incredibly delicious. I would absolutely come back again just for that! They also have delicious banh-mi that I've admittedly only door-dashed from. They have a few spots to sit indoors. All in all a lovely establishment and super friendly staff. I would absolutely return and order from here again and again!"
"On a packed Saturday night, definitely make a reservation! This restaurant is a good choice for the viet/thai fusion restaurant. The waiter here was extremely attentive and patient with my large party of 10. They serve food as it is done being prepared, so dishes may come in waves. The lower rating for me comes from the fact that the entrees were just not great tasting. I personally ordered the pho, and it fell a bit flat on flavor, even though the portion was quite generous for its price point. The matcha ice cream is a little overpriced, but what isn't in the city... it is truly delicious though! Their mango sticky rice is the perfect combination of tart chunks of mango, refreshing mango sorbet, and chewy sticky rice. I just wish the portion was bigger. If anything, this is a great place to grab pre-dinner drinks instead, as their signature cocktails looked spectacular! I'll be back to try them and let yall know how it goes."
"I really like Mekong as a neighborhood restaurant and usually go here around once a month. They have some really good vegan options and their cocktails are really good and use Vietnamese liquors, which is unusual. The inside has good mood lighting and the space is open and there are always tables available. My main complaint is the fish tank. I hope they read this and add some items to give those poor fish a better life. The tank is completely empty, and they just float around with no enrichment whatsoever. It's hella depressing. Please invest like $20 and give these fish some stuff to do."

Food: I went to Saigon on a Saturday night with my boyfriend. I ordered a p3 and he ordered a Vietnamese hot and sour young coconut soup with Shrimp. My pho dish was delicious with plenty of noodles. My boyfriend's bowl was huge and had so many vegetables. The service was great. They made sure we were okay a couple of times.Ambiance: There was a couple of people eating at the restaurant at the same time as us; it wasn't loud making it a pleasant dinner experience.

Today is the day I revisited restaurants from my Elite Events that took place in Williamsburg last year or.more.I had a craving for a Bahn Mi sandwich which I haven't had since you guessed it... last year at Lucy's Bed Stuy, Brooklyn location. That was a great event!I was pleased to spend a warm spring like day in Williamsburg especially eateries that are close to Domino Park like Lucy's.I entered and could smell the freshly toasted bread. I placed my order and remembered my 10% Yelp check in discount, perks my friend, perks!I found a seat near the window that had cushions and a nice view to people watch. My Bahn Mi was served to me table side, love that!I unwrapped my sandwich and took a good look at my delicious Bahn Mi that was about to be devoured: the chicken with the lemongrass flavor, oodles of cilantro, cucumbers.. is my sandwich seeping into your consciousness yet?...carrots on that heavenly toasted bread. Yowza indeed!I was a bit more daring today and squeezed the hot chili sauce and it gave it a spicy kick. The black iced tea served as my fire extinguisher. All in all a delicious cheat! This location is much smaller than Bed Stuy but it still packs a great punch: nice service, chill vibe ( love the picnic tables and cushions) and more importantly the food is delicious. Consistency keeps me loyal.. thus if a restaurant can still wow me with their food and service, then I'm your customer for a long time.If you read my previous review of Lucy's Vietnamese Elite Event it started like this:I love Lucy and she loves me, I'm so happy with my Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi.I still love Lucy and if you haven't tried the establishment all I can say is you need a good dose of Vitavitavegamin( (for all you I Love Lucy fans!)

Tènten is a vietnamese restaurant serving Northern style pho in Chinatown. Unlike Southern/Saigon style pho, Northern style one has a clearer broth and wider rice noodles. They have a $20 lunch combo on weekdays 12-4pm, which you can get any pho + specialty drink. You can hardly go wrong here as they have a small menu with only four items. It has limited seatings and gets packed fast, so come early!! *Tái Cầu #1 $17*Áp Chảo #3 $17 We ordered the two most recommended pho from their menu. Tái Cầu was served with flank beef & brisket, while Áp Chảo came with sauteed beef and garlic. The beef bone broth was so aromatic on its own (no hoisin sauce needed). The rich broth was definitely something you can hardly remake at home. Squeeze some lime juice, add garlic vinegar and a little chilli sauce (very spicy) for more depth of flavors. I personally preferred Áp Chảo as the shredded marinated beef was more flavorful. My bf liked Tái Cầu more as the beef was more tender*Quay $3We got some crispy fried dough on the side to dip into the broth. It looked and tasted like chinese fried dough stick (油炸鬼/油條). I would have liked it better if it was served warm. *Coco-Nuts For You $6.95The iced coffee with condensed milk and coconut cream was very coconut-y and creamy. The texture was almost like slushie. The coffee flavor was on the milder side compared to regular viet coffee. *Daily Refresher $6.5Daily refresher was perfect for non-coffee drinkers. It was a lemongrass peach tea with fresh peach and orange slices. Very refreshing.

So a recent stop at Bahnmigos had some unexpected twists. I ordered a Thai tea, which is my favorite, but really delicious here. I also ordered a extra spicy shrimp banh mi to go and happily went home anticipating the first bite. Distracted and reading while taking the first bite, I didn't notice until the second bite that my sandwich had shredded chicken, not shrimp. I contacted the store and let them know. They were aware because the person that had my sandwich had come back to the store. They offered me another sandwich on them, but I had to pick it up before closing. I agreed and planned to go back in the evening. BTW, the chicken was really delicious. My daughter and I ventured out to go get my sandwich (I gave her the bigger half lol) and two more teas. I wish I had knew what I know now... The chicken is actually the tastier filling and I will skip the shrimp in the future. Overall, everything was fresh, the veggies were fresh and crunchy, and the bread was perfect. The Thai tea is awesome and so was the customer service. This was a "everything happens for a reason" experience with a good outcome and extra tea.

Service wasn't great. The guy who seated us was not very nice. I told him that we had a party of five, so he put together two small tables with four chairs and asked if he could just pull up an extra chair on the side. Those tables are tiny. He had this attitude like he couldn't be bothered. It was just so annoying. Our server was nice enough. He took our order promptly and the dishes came out quickly. After he brought us our food, he never came back to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. It was very bare bones with the service. The portions were really small. I guess I'm just used to California where our portions are pretty big when it comes to Vietnamese food and it's also cheaper. The food was all right. Nothing spectacular.

The pho here is phenomenal especially after a cold night. I've also tried the bahn mi and it also just as good. The portions here are generous and the service is kind and speedy. It can get crowded here but people shuffle in and out quickly. The interior is cozy and intimate and love the door to the bathroom. This is a cash only spot but I've also definitely gotten delivery.

This may be the first time I've given a place 5 stars immediately after I ate and Lucy's Vietnamese - Bedford Stuyvesant deserves every star. To start off, you can smell the delicious food as you pass by. That and the neon ground sign was what caught my attention about this place. I hadn't heard of it before but a quick check of its Yelp stats let me know that it might be worth a stop, the next time that I passed. Sure enough, I popped inside two days later on my way to the bus. I saw the Smoked Brisket Pho on the menu and was sold. No exaggeration, my order was ready in less than 5 minutes and my server was very sweet. Once I arrived home, I devoured the Pho and immediately started drafting this review. The Smoked Brisket Pho blew me away and I've already reordered it 2 more times. I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet but if all the other dishes are even half as good as this pho, I'm in!

"Ordered a couple of sandwiches (the classic with pate, ham, and roasted ground pork, and the shredded white meat chicken) and some spring rolls from Henry's recently when I was craving Vietnamese food and banh mi. The quality of the sandwiches was good - lots of filling, fresh vegetables and meats, nice texture to the bread - and prices were very reasonable. The meat had a little less flavor than some other places I've ordered from before, but I would still get either sandwich again.I ordered the fried spring rolls expecting them to be cha gio, but they tasted like the vegetable spring rolls you'd get at any Chinese takeout place instead, which was a little disappointing. I would skip those on any future order.Overall, the banh mi was good. I like some other places nearby better, but I would get them again. I would sub something else for the spring rolls though."
"This is one of the best beef pho soups I've had in the city. They don't give hoisin sauce or anything in traditional Vietnamese restaurants but that's totally okay because the beef broth was so flavorful it stood on its own. The meat was also tender and not dry which I liked. The noodles are thicker than what I've gotten in other pho soups but they work. It's a big portion and it's def big enough to share. The staff was also very friendly. Perfect for winter!"
"Walking past this unassuming but heart-warming restaurant and decided to make a stop here. Oh so glad I did! Loveee the Rendang Nasik Lemak - the beef was so tender and the curry had a kick too. The roti was phenomenal and came out piping out. Mango sticky rice was also delicious - the mango was sweet and ripe. Very friendly owner and staff. Would love to come back!"
"Bahn Mi Cafe in Crown Heights Brooklyn has some of the best food in the area. I tried the Rice Vermicelli Salad with grilled pork tonight. Good portion size, salad was very fresh & delicious. Included Vietnamese vinaigrette sauce on the side plus a packet of Sriracha sauce. Delivery was fine. No stress. Everything was correct. Tasty too. Would definitely try again - next time will get the Bahn Mi."
"When we first started visiting a few years ago, this place was styled more as a "food hall" with a few different restaurants serving food, though we always ordered Vietnamese food anyway every time - we popped in this weekend and noticed the far back section that used to be a sushi bar has been replaced with some lovely seating arrangements, and the front area has been built out with these lovely wooden roofs. It makes the place feel so lovely and comforting. We had our yummy chicken banh mi, along with some veg gyoza which were both delicious, as usual! Solid drink options - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. What makes this place extra great also are the kind servers and their attention to detail, as well as the beautiful setting of the restaurant itself and their backyard.I hesitate to even review this place and share ut because it is so tranquil and peaceful while we are there and I don't want it overrun with people. Lol. But this place deserves all the business they can get! So here is my review. They are a hidden gem on Bedford Ave."
"Really great for a quick bite and some warm pho on a cold day. Get there before 12pm if you can, it fills up very quick. Their bahn mi sandwich is also very good. Would also definitely recommend the chicken wings!"
"Obao is an excellent Vietnamese and Thai restaurant, if you're near Midtown Manhattan. They do take walk-ins, but due to space, I'd suggest making reservations (especially on a Friday night). Wonderful food served quickly. They put their own twist on the dishes. Favorites starters were the crispy spring rolls and the dumplings. Favorite main dishes include the crab fried rice and the shrimp fried rice. I ate at the 9th avenue location. Had several wheelchair guests in attendance. Space was tight toward the entrance, but the staff was accommodating and moved furniture to serve everyone nicely."
"This is a great Asian-Vietnamese fusion restaurant with awesome staff. Highly recommended for sushi, entries, and drinks. Very comfortable seating & great service.Came in for a weekend show (Hades Town is across the street) and the reviews were great. The An'nam restaurant is equal in quality. Started with the Red Dragon sushi roll, and was it GOOD! We had appletinis from the full bar, and they were great too! I had the beef chow fun, which was perfection. Wife had cashew chicken, which I tried, and was very good. Teen got a bento box, and it was amazing! Shrimp Teriyaki, chicken karage, fried Shrimp shumai and a california roll with white rice. I could have eaten two full orders of shrimp fried dumpling/shumai alone! It was just that awesome!!!We also wanted a side of pan fried sugar snap peas, and a whole order came- but they were fabulous!!! We kept them, snd it was worth it. Servers were all nice & helpful, and we felt appreciated. The decor was nice, and it was fairly quiet. So low noise.Definitely want to go back again! This is a keeper, and in my top twenty restaurants of all time. YOU SHOULD GO!"
"Damn good banh mi! Great cozy cafe with unreal banh mis. Cant wait to come back and try more, we got the classic and its a cant miss.Great service with a friendly staff. Take a walk or ride down and have a great banh mi."
"I drive 1 hour and 45 min just to get a cup of bubble tea . The customer service is unbeatable and i been going for 8 years and it's nothing in Brooklyn that make meMore happy this place make Brooklyn my first love . If u don't stop for the bubble tea then try the vegetarian pork sandwich it's to die for just kiss the chef for me."
"It was a cold day and all I wanted was a hot soup. I was working in the area and took a walk in grand where I saw the sign with the magic word...pho! I had a plan to get a see standard pho but then I saw a chicken and noodle curry soup on the menu and I was sold. The soup was filled with plenty of chicken and noodles and the curry had great flavor!! Service is fast and the environment is casual."
"I work in this area and I was looking for a restaurant that delivers good customer service and great food. I ordered Shrimp Pho with extra bean sprouts online. The food arrived without the Hoisin sauce. I'm deeply disappointed, because if I was in the restaurant I wouldn't specifically have to ask for the Hoisin sauce, why would I expect differently online? I believed it was included with the entree.I called the restaurant after I received the delivery and expressed my disappointment. They explained that the Hoisin sauce is not included in online orders, if you don't ask for it. The customer service and concern was minimal at best. They offered an apology but, absolutely nothing for my inconvenience. The food was bland, not what I expected at all. This is my first time ordering from them and definitely my last. That's a no for me."
"This place was absolutely made for the girls. Perfect for a girls dinner to chat and catch up while eating amazing food. Love love love the decor -- feels very sultry and elegant and we were seated by the window, which gave us incredible views of Columbus Circle. We ordered the salted lychee martini -- phenomenal. And then a whole spread of delicious food. Dover sole and tiger prawn pad Thai were stand outs. And then the dessert. Wow. You must get a soufflé here. We had the passion fruit soufflé and I couldn't get enough. Would go back just for that. Service was also incredible. Incredibly kind, helpful and we never felt rushed or pressured."
"While eating at bo ky, the table next to me was a couple eating together. They finished their meal, but when the bill came the guy pointed out to the waiter that his soup had a roach and left it on a napkin for the waiter to see. The waiter then only charged for the bowl that didn't have the bug. Hmmm could the guy have found the bug in the end or the middle of the meal. His bowl was completely finished. He wore a suit, a professional working guy. But at the same time, I wasn't surprised bo ky has a possible roach problem...Would still go back to try their beef curry soup noodles next time. Ordered the #1 on the menu with flat rice noodles. It was pig liver and pig intestines. The soup was really flavorful. The pig liver and pig intestines might need some of the sauce if you are not used to the taste and texture. When you come here, expect it to be somewhat clean, food and flavor is good. Service can be a hit or miss. But prices are good and stomach should leave full with low chances of possible accidental bugs in your soup."
"3.5 stars overall -- IG posted a foodie video and down the rabbit hole I went. This restaurant has two levels, first floor is dimly lit, cozy and is quieter and good for conversation. There are several small tables and bar counter seating. Downstairs is where you'll find the larger dining room with a much livelier crowd of patrons (and restrooms). Definitely good for groups and the more social, drinking crowd as it's even darker downstairs. The main menu is two sided, the front - it's tasting menu received a Michelin Bib Gourmand award at $53/pp (Dec. 2024), which is served family style. They will do their best to accommodate food allergies but in some cases it may not be possible. (My shrimp allergy made it a bit challenging to dine here but there was plenty on the menu to choose aside from that). On the back of the menu, you'll find the a la carte style options. Overall I liked the menu options here better and the waitress was mindful of my shrimp allergy so she pointed out what could be altered and what couldn't.We started off with the vegetarian turmeric crepe with mushrooms and fish sauce (served on the side). There was an option to add protein for an additional supplement but we chose to keep it vegetarian. The crepe was very crisp like an egg roll would be. But the mushrooms being so mild in flavor, this dish could've used another ingredient to bring out more taste. We were not a fan and didn't finish it. As per the IG reel, you know I had to order the Short Rib Grilled cheese sandwich. It was served with a Beef broth as a dipping "au jus". The sandwich looked and tasted good! They could've been a little more generous with the meat portion as it was a bit skimpier looking than the IG post. The beef broth was the best compliment and that completed this dish to make it satisfying. For our main entrees, my friend ordered the fish, Cha Ca La. It was a turmeric branzino perfectly pan seared. The skin and outer texture was crisp without drying the rest of the meat. The flesh was soft and very moist. It was the best dish we had this evening. I ordered the Mi Vit Tiem, which was a roasted five spice duck. Paired with thick egg noodles and shitake mushrooms with duck sauce. This duck was served sliced, a bit fatty but it was perfectly seasoned. The egg noodles were soaking up some of that duck sauce which gave it more flavor. Just the dish was a bit oily. Duck was a good portion.I must mention the wine list and cocktail menu. Lots of great choices for those who like to drink and dine. I had a glass of the orange rose (Das ist Schon). It smelled wonderful and should have had an Asian pear undertone but I think I tasted more citrus instead. Very fragrant and the waitress was right to pour first to taste before serving a regular glass. That I appreciated very much. I took a photo to remember the brand and type. The execution of the dishes overall, were a bit inconsistent. I think the restaurant tried very well to accommodate the "sauce on the side" and adjusted for my allergy. However, some of the dishes just didn't work out. Great service overall and thanks for the complimentary duck fat to go!"
"I came back a 2nd time & tried their other items: 1) morning glory scone, 2) sesame mochi ball with coconut mung bean, 3) thai tea chiffon cake, 4) ca phe chiffon cake. The morning glory scone & sesame mochi ball w/ coconut mung bean was soo delicious! I would reorder these 2 next time again! The thai tea chiffon cake & ca phe chiffon cake were good, but not as amazing as the pandan chiffon cake. If you like coffee, the ca phe chiffon cake would be recommended. The thai tea chiffon cake was ok, probably the weakest in taste.Got the lime drip coffee again - so delicious!"
"Got a traditional banh mi for takeout at Banhmigos. It was the best banh mi I've ever had, hands down. Definitely will get next time I'm in town."
"Next level Vietnamese food, amazing ambiance, noise levels on the average end and, great location! Can't ask for anything more I guess? When traditional classics are elevated to next level, we appreciate that food a lot. The best Vegetable Pho ($21) I've ever had, where the broth packs a lot of flavor. The accoutrements consist of some spicy chilies and vinegar garlic which elevate the taste further, and just when you think you have a perfect dish, a spice packed garlic, cilantro hot sauce if what you can request for, if you enjoy spicy food - which goes extremely well with the rice noodles! The Crab Fried Rice ($32) from the Chefs special menu was amazing too and was a good plate to share between two. This dish accompanies the hot sauce.Specific shoutout to Jaycee for her excellent service, attentiveness, and her contagious smile! Will definitely visit again and will be the go to recommendation for Vietnamese food."
"We came here on a very cold night in early December on a whim. It was mostly empty but we also came in pretty late. WOW!!!! The food was amazing, the service was amazing and the restaurant is so cute. We had been out in the cold and walking around so we ordered a lot. The veggie egg rolls were delicious, they came out very hot. Then we had the sushi, one was a sweet potato roll and the other was a fish. I ordered the vegan pho and my partner had Pho Bo. We both loved our food and plan to visit again. This was some of the best pho we've ever had."
"Creative fusion but not much Vietnamese influenceTop fav to least:- Squash dumpling in pho broth (unique) - Red seafood curry - (flavorful and delicious)- confit duck neck (flavorful but not much meat)- bun thit nuong (delicious and authentic but expensive) - tuna crunch (good but nothing extraordinary)"
"Nice space store in downtown New York. Friendly nice service/ cashier. Recommend No. 1 House Special Sandwich (spicy)."
"The absolute best banh mis! The bread is perfectly crunchy on the outside, but soft and pillowy on the inside. Just the right amount of pickles, sauce and cilantro. I absolutely love the grilled pork here! I usually get this at least once per week. They are super fast with orders. I usually order for pickup on GrubHub and my order is always ready by the time I walk over, which is 10-ish minutes away."
"My wife had the noodle soup with chicken and I tried the Lamb shank. Desert and tea were good. The alcohol drinks lacked alcohol lol. The service is top notch. Love the decor. Will definitely go back again. Also recommend this place for all to try."
