"This was a return visit. We visited once before in 2014 and GF actually saw Robert DeNiro. I missed him. This time the stars of the show were Crystal, the hostess and Maya the server. I seriously mistimed our arrival and we were 30 minutes late for our reservation. Crystal responded promptly to an open table message that we would be late. And then she was reassuring once again when I called a second time. Maya was attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu. Then she and Crystal teamed up to sing happy birthday to gf. They custom decorated the flourless brownie which was delicious."
"Arrived at 5pm on a Sunday, originally just looking for the Museum of Street Art. Unless you are a guest of the hotel, you need to ask the front desk at the Citizen M for the elevator pass to the 20th floor. We were welcomed by the hostess who asked us to join for a drink and to walk around the space. The friendly staff also told us to "check out the views from the bathroom" which seemed odd at first, but as I walked into the handicapped bathroom I found a floor to ceiling view of downtown Manhattan covered in a rose-tinted hue. Needless to say this place is full of magical surprises if you know what to look for. As we walked around the side of the bar I spotted two pieces by Kusama and an adorable balloon animal by Koons. The star of the room is a leopard statue covered in a mirror mosaic. I don't know the artist, but I loved this view as the sun was setting. The Cloud has ample indoor and outdoor space. We we're comfortable as a party of 4 in the lounge and taking photos of the skyline. The bartender greeted us and accommodated our requests as we giggled as the cocktail names like "Everyday Struggle." At $16-$18 a drink, we expected quality and got it! If we hadn't recently eaten we probably would have stayed for a bite. The food looked delicious passing by. By 6:30 we made our way over to the door was to start our decent down 20 flights and into the Museum of Street Art. This experience truly is a love letter to the Bowery."

"What a gem! We stumbled upon this lovely place while looking for some late night pizza. It's just recently opened and has a beautiful ambiance. The staff was friendly and very helpful. But the PIZZA?!?! Rivals some of the best, even in little Italy. It was made Fresh and cooked in a brick oven at the front of the restaurant. We travel around sampling pizza from ALL OVER, and this is crisp, tasty, fresh and flavorful. 5 stars!"
"Incredible dinner and steak. Service is top notch and extremely attentive. While they have all the standard steakhouse favorites, they have some twists and really unique dishes that stands out with other steakhouses in NYC. Cannot go wrong here at all. The beef is absolutely out of this world. Had a double cut Chateau Briand, pasta and crab cake for appetizers. The restaurant itself is a vibe. A large bar area with music isolated away from a double floor sitting area."
"Outstanding staff! Everything about our experience was top notch. Food cooked to perfection - knowledgeable and courteous servers. Accommodating host. Thank you Empire for making a memorable Thanksgiving experience for my family."
"I was shocked when I saw that Glass Ceiling had reservations available for a table on a Friday night in December. Seems like this place is a solid kept secret because the ambiance is warm, moody, very "New York City." It is quiet, dark, romantic, has a spectacular view of the Empire State Building - but be careful, their drinks aren't for the faint of heart! They're absolutely delicious, but they do have a true and generous pour. I recommend getting something to eat while sipping on cocktails. I highly suggest grabbing drinks and a bite here for happy hour, maybe before the Rangers game or a concert - it's close to MSG, a few blocks away, absolutely worth it!"
"The food was wonderful. The ambiance was very relaxing and the serving staff was amazing. The location however! I hate going to places near Time square. Leave EARLY. The place will be hard to get to. But honestly this place is an amazing and there are different location options if you need. I got the Calamari which was made perfectly. I also got the Cacio e Pepe -- really good. I have zero complaints about the food. Portions were good. Bread and olive oil as a little nibble before the food. My drink was good. I heard the margaritas were better though. I'll get that next time."
"Connolly's opened up a second location! I've walked past this location many times as it is located close to the LIRR at Grand Central.Service was quick and food was out within 15 minutes. They had typical Irish dishes as well as American entrees (salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, etc.). I ordered their Shepherd's Pie and thought it was pretty solid. I liked that it came with a potato chip on top!Portions are good for lunch. They have plenty of indoor seating and the upstairs would be ideal for groups or events."
"In the mood for pub food, then this is a place for you. On this very cold January Monday, we were looking for good pub food with a relaxed, chill vibe. And upon entry I knew my fellow Yelpers had not let us down. Good food, good service & a good NYC Irish pub. My fish n' chips were fresh and yummy; I would have liked it if it were a wee bit crispier but the freshness of the fish made it worth my while; my husband's burger was huge and delicious but messy...lol! Coupled with a Sam Adams pint beer, the meals were satisfying and complete."
"I've been here a few times now and I can say I'm a true fan of their brunch menu. Mainly b/c I've been able to get a last min reserv and I remember that great cocktail I've had and want it again, lol. My last time here was the last Saturday in August. I had a friend visiting from out of town and I knew she would love this place...and she did!For drinks she and my other friend had bellinis and I had the Ora ramble. I'm not sure how many were had...but many, LOL!For food my friend and I shared the Pabellón a Caballo, my other friend got the home breakfast, and for the table "Tacon" French Toast. Ummm, the plates were left empty...lol lol. I'm determined to make it for dinner the next time. Maybe you'll see me!"
"Very classy spot to hang out for any type of celebrations. It wasn't chaotic nor extra the vibes was just right and the crowd was cool not crowded. The service was great. The drinks were great.Right in the heart of times Square just makes felt more chill lounge with good dj musics he plays the old and new songs. It's best to make reservations so that you have guaranteed seating."
"I been to this restaurant 2x for brunch and it never disappoints. The place it's very big and I like the clean elegant decor. The food it's always great and I love that you can taste the quality of the ingredients. I had the breaded chicken sandwich and not only was it delicious but a very generous portion. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area."

I visited this restaurant last week to celebrate my friend's birthday. I enjoyed the experience here. The waiter was very nice and friendly. He provided us with great customer service. When visiting here a reservation is definitely needed. It is a very busy restaurant. The restaurant is clean, nice and they play nice music. For my drink I ordered the Cranberry Peppermint Margarita it was very good. I ordered the Caesar salad for my appetizer it was very tasty. I enjoyed the salad. My entree was the Pan Roasted Amish Chicken. It was delicious. The dish consisted of the chicken, potatoes and broccoli. I will definitely come back. I was too full for dessert. I'll try the dessert options on my next visit.

This was a great rooftop bar to stop by! We did a walk in and there was available seating for us. This was one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had! The ambiance inside was lovely.

Quality Italian in a tough to find quality area. Big room with spacious seating -!; friendly service. Early Sunday dinner. Ate:Focaccia with cacio Pepe butterMarinated olives Beet salad with marscaponeSwordfish plus caponata Rigatoni and short rib Total $114The cacio & pepe butter is fire but my favorite dish was the beet salad. It had crunchy rye or pumpernickel and it was excellent. Swordfish was generous & delicious The rigatoni short rib while always good lacked the punch of others I've tried.A professional run establishments & we will definitely be back.

You like iconic New York...you like power lunch a la 1981...well, this is it. You feel like you stepped back in time when you go here...this harkens to the days when New York was the power center of the world. You are just waiting for Gordon Gekko to stroll across the room...it feels like that. The bar and dining room make you feel like you are about to embark on a great adventure and you can hardly wait...and fasten your seat belts because here it comes. As for the food, you don't need the menu here...order the avocado, crab salad to start and the prime rib. Both are their specialties and both the salad and prime rib are prepared at your table. The steak is served with beef bone, which they season and bake separately. Outstanding. While the food is great...what really makes this place is the ambience. It is the power center in New York and you need to go here every once in a while to remind yourself you are in the best city in the world. You want the kicker? Original Andy Warhols in the lobby. Yes...you are in New York! Service on point as always.

Glass ceiling had a great ambiance. The waiter was very nice and efficient. It has beautiful views of the city, and comfy seats. However, the host was a bit rude upon our arrival. We had booked a table for 10pm, about an hour before that. He mentioned that it was last call when we were about to get seated, saying that he keeps trying to tell Open Table to not do that...this is not our issue. Aside from that, we had a great experience!

Excellent Italian style service where maitre 'D chats briefly to welcomeYou. Bartender kept my glass full my entire 2hour visit. Perfect space to come in, warm up, have a drink and enjoy a high quality bite in a safe and cozy setting. Service was prompt, quality and presentation of food was impeccable. Will be back- Serafina feels like a little version of extended home.

This place was packed but our waitress was nice and patient. I haven't been in this restaurant. Since the location is around Times Square, it's filled with tourists. I was hungry so the fish and chips that I orders hit the spot. I also ordered the hot toddy and it was okay. Not the best hot toddy that I have had. I would only recommend this place if you like crowds or if you want Irish food.

"No wait for a table at 5:00 pm on a Saturday nightTrying Caesar SaladWhite table cloths on each tableFriendly service"
"Great ambiance, service, and food. They have pre-theater dining down to a science. Would also be a great spot for special occasion dining."
"So the ambiance here is very nice and corporate dinner-esque. But we didn't think the food was memorable or anything to write home about. We came for Restaurant Week so got to try a bunch of their hits. On the whole, things were bland. That includes the spinach, Mac & cheese, and the burger. Here's the standouts:- The biscuits they give you for free- The pickles that come on the side of the burger- The chili lobster soup"
"Pretty solid spot for lunch or drinks in Midtown East with an Irish / American bar and restaurant vibe. I ordered the Short Rib Ragu Mafaldine, which had a good amount of tender short rib to go with the pasta, which was cooked well. There was also a good amount of tasty mushrooms. The portion size was decent. $29 seemed slightly steep for this but not outrageous. There is a lively atmosphere with an elevated pub kind of environment. The staff are friendly and the service speed is okay.Overall, while I wouldn't say this is a 5 star place, it still is good enough to earn 4 stars from me."
"Decided to stop into this spot because of the Christmas atmosphere and stayed for amazing drinks and food. The staff was fantastic and friendly. The atrium above the dining area is an impressive sight. The tree and lights make it such a fun festive experience. The cocktails were fantastic. The vesper and beekman old fashioned were particular favorites. The onion dip and red pepper dip were both great accompaniments. Fun for holiday get togethers."
"First time at Mareluna and it definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and intimate. Staff were friendly and checked in on us often. My friend and I shared the bruschetta, cacio e pepe, and pear salad. Bruschetta was better than I expected - Bread was soft and nicely toasted with well seasoned tomatoes. Cacio e pepe was so simple and flavorful. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente and chewy. Mareluna spritz is sweet, refreshing, and fruity. Pear salad was just okay, not memorable. In the end, my friend and I left with full and satisfied bellies!"
"The Living Room is a swanky rooftop bar that's part of the Park Hyatt. The bartenders here are lovely and the drinks are strong. My friend and I also got the corn ice cream profiteroles to share. They were a unique take on the classic French dessert but I do think The Living Room definitely did it justice. I would return to try more of their drinks and desserts as well."
"I'm unsure of the appeal of this restaurant past the view. Unfortunately, you cannot eat a view. The worst part was the atmosphere; the place looked like a retro 1970s "hip" restaurant that, if you lived in a small town, everyone would say was "the nicest restaurant in town," but in reality, it was an incredibly old, tacky place that felt like it was trying too hard. They have no excuse to have colored, worn-out chairs with neon plastic decors. Now, since it is a restaurant, let's talk about the food. The salmon was effectively raw in the center despite it taking a long time, the house bread tasted store-bought and cold, and everything else just felt incredible mid.The service was not great either. We ordered a drink, and it arrived an hour later (still before our food, but an HOUR to make a salmon and steak?). We went at 4pm, so there were no excuses for the slow service; the place was empty. There was absolutely nothing notable or remarkable about this place, past the view that you can see on every other floor."
"My friend Katie M. and I were in need of a bar in this part of Manhattan on a drizzly Wednesday night, and we ended up walking into the Raines Law Room at the William. I'd had the original location bookmarked for over a decade and was pleased with the way this worked out.The William appears to be some kind of extended stay hotel. The decor is swanky and modern, but there's no reception area, and it had this strange, lightly haunted vibe when we showed ourselves in, like a Scooby Doo situation might unfold in the deserted lounge across the hall from Raines Law Room. The bar felt nice, though, attractive and buzzy, even in the quiet closing hour of a rainy school night. It looked like a luxurious living room, grand but intimate. We sat on comfortable chairs and enjoyed a few drinks. Service was prompt and friendly.I loved the cocktails. The Desert Bloom was a refreshing mezcal drink with bergamot, aji amarillo pepper, lime, and passionfruit. The Electric Guava was delicious and interesting, jalapeño-infused Oaxacan rum mixed with Select Aperitivo, guava, passionfruit, grapefruit, cinnamon, and lime. Pulling Threads might have been my favorite, a boozy, aromatic cocktail of gin, Salers, blanc vermouth, saffron liqueur, and orange blossom.I don't live in New York, but I'd love to revisit Raines Law Room on another trip, especially if I find myself in this area. It's a great bar with fantastic cocktails, and any ghosts in the William are probably not real."
"We made a reservation a few weeks in advance and were seated well before our reservation time!We loved every item we ordered. Highly recommend: the Kadak rumali, jalebi chaat, lamb chops, lahsooni oysters, paneer laung latta and the desserts.Would love to come back and try the other dishes and drinks!"
"I came here on a Saturday for brunch and the place was packed and it had a nice vibe going. My friends and I went with the bottomless brunch which was $27 when you buy a brunch entree. What I love was that the bottomless not only included mimosas but Aperol spritz which I'm a huge fan of.The spritz were very tasty yet strong enough. As far as my entree I went with the brunch nachos with buffalo chicken. The nachos were delicious and a very generous portion for one.I really enjoyed our brunch and will definitely be coming back."
"Really cute spot near Park slope! Would come back for the Batata (super crispy flavorful potatoes with toum), octopus dish and the kafta kebabs!!!We also tried the halloumi sticks and the hummus topped with wagyu - also really good. The wagyu has a slight touch of sweetness.Their drinks are super interesting as well. I tried the Jeelab - super refreshing and sweet drink with rose water dates, pine nuts, raises and pomegranate! I've never had anything like that before. The beer is also nice and tart! The only thing I didn't care for was the dessert mainly due to the flavor profile (lots of options with semolina, orange blossom and pistachio but if you are a fan of that then get it!)Service was excellent! Everyone was super friendly"
"I was dining alone and traveling on a weeknight and most restaurants since it was 9:09pm at night were just closed. This was thankfully opened and I ate every bite. The bar was where I sat and the bartenders gave me attentive service. This restaurant is cozy, dark, and smells like an Italian restaurant should. I was satisfied with my veal bolognese pappardelle though I had been expecting a traditional bolognese sauce. It was good nonetheless. My amaretto crunch gelato was delicious and my spritz was perfect."
"Went for brunch on a Sunday at 11:30am. Not crowded at all which was great. Food was decent and servers were pleasant. Overall, nothing amazing but not bad place to go if you didn't make a brunch reservation elsewhere."
"Happened to be in the area on Saturday night so we popped in. The front desk explained they only allowed hotel guests after 10:30pm so we thanked her and were about to leave, then she said "you know what, they can take a couple more - it's fine, have fun!" The woman who greeted us upstairs was so welcoming and friendly. We had a couple drinks and enjoyed the amazing view. It wasn't even crowded for a Saturday night, which was wonderful. Will definitely be back!"
""This is what dreams are made of" #HilaryDuffThis place HAS IT ALL!!! Great atmosphere, great food and great drinks. Zachary is a legend behind the bar. He is fast, efficient, and even has a smile on his face while making drinks. Qualities that John Taffer would appreciate.Lilicay (Lilly-Kay) - is an amazing DJ. She is normally DJing on Fridays. For all the millennials out there, this is the spot for you!The Pork Ragu sliders ante NEXT LEVEL. I have never tried anything like it. I have never hat a "pork Ragu" slider before all I can say is, it a tight race with beef Ragu with the Pork Ragu out in front. The calamari fritti is PERFECT!! The breading doesn't come off, the red sauce is perfect (with a touch of spice). And did I forget to mention, it's all circles. This place is perfect for hosting events happy hour and yourself if you're looking for a good night out As a great man once said, #I'llBeBack"
"Instagram brought me here and I am not mad about it. The views are beautiful and they currently have a lemon summer theme going on so they have a cute lemon walk way which is great for photos. Otherwise this place seems to be more for drinks than food. We came around 10pm on a Monday night with reservations but they took all walk ins that night. I am sure a weekend is a different story. The drinks were delicious and the views were unmatched. The only ding is the service was pretty lackluster. The hostess was nice but our waitress was nice on first impression but then she clocked out half way through and we never had a new server follow up. I never got the food that we ordered so I went to the bar to cancel and the bartender was pretty off putting he said oh its completely separate from me. Go find a server. Anyways a server jumped in and apologized. She said she could follow up and bring the food but I just canceled the food anyways. We did continue to have drinks though. They were delicious. Like I said more of a place for a night cap."
"Entrance to the rooftop bar is on 7th Ave, came here on a weekday after work for a team happy hour :) got some cheese fries, chips and guacamole that are good for sharing and some chicken fingers that's skippable, staff was friendly and will come check in on your orders. Food comes really slow though. Convenient location, reservation recommended since it gets busy, and they do check your bags (I went later so didn't get checked), maybe they do that when it's busy."
"If I could I'd give them 100 stars. Best meal we have had in the past 2 years. My wife and I had brunch here and split the squash salad, tostadas. Shrimp burger, and French toast for dessert. Wow - each item was beautifully made and so delicious without being heavy. Service was quick and gracious. Decor was lovely. We will definitely come back the next time we are in NYC."
"I have since gone back and had a very different experience (much better). Albeit they weren't as busy and it was in the day time."
"Service was great, employees are professional and attentive. Beautiful space - nice ambiance. However, I was really there for the food which I thought was either bad or absolutely bland, portions were ridiculously small, the fish tartar was not fresh at all and after a $300 I left there hungry and the aftertaste of the old fish lingered. You won't see me there again."
"Popped in for a last minute birthday dinner while visiting NYC. Everyone was extremely friendly and helped me celebrate my birthday with lovely libations! I enjoyed the Caesar salad and ribeye steak. My friend got the salmon and she enjoyed it. It's a beautiful restaurant but a bit pricy. If in the area with a visit !"
"We went early to have the opportunity to walk around, unfortunately the outdoor terrace was closed due to the rain. However we still have lovely views. We started off having a drink in the bar area of the restaurant. Followed by getting seated. They said we had the best table. It surely was, it was the corner table for 2 tucked away in the south west corner with views going downtown, east and west. It was beautiful ! We both got the pre fixe. I ordered the scallops which were cooked to perfection! And Maine lobster, so perfect! It also came with a scoop of lobster salad! Followed by the egg for dessert. And since we were celebrating our anniversary they gave us a chocolate cake extra! Overall excellent service, great food and obviously stellar views!"
