"Amazing experience. Came here with four friends for a guys night out. Ordered the Filet, medium rare and was perfectly done. We shared a bunch of sides - Mac and Cheese, creamed spinach and brussel sprouts - all excellent. We split the bread pudding amongst us and again, it delivered. The atmosphere is very sophisticated and lots of care was given to us all around. I would come back again."
"The Ambiance is amazing.. the food was impeccable and the service was on point. Right in heart of Times Square is this gem of a restaurant perfect for a birthday celebration. Very expensive yet feels like it's worth every penny. Definitely recommend checking it out to celebrate something or someone special."

"We were in NY for thanksgiving and wanted to find a restaurant that offered a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I am so glad I booked a reservation for here. The vibe was really busy, loud and fun. It was a little chaotic and we had to wait a half hour for our table even though we had reservations. But that was fine, I prefer that to a quiet and boring restaurant, especially because we were with two young teenagers who appreciated the vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a set turkey dinner menu with a choice of appetizer and dessert. Highly recommend!!"
"So the ambiance here is very nice and corporate dinner-esque. But we didn't think the food was memorable or anything to write home about. We came for Restaurant Week so got to try a bunch of their hits. On the whole, things were bland. That includes the spinach, Mac & cheese, and the burger. Here's the standouts:- The biscuits they give you for free- The pickles that come on the side of the burger- The chili lobster soup"
"I enjoyed this place for lunch on Sa, that I went back again on Mon for lunch as well.Had the tomato and mozzarella salad, and for me, it was perfect.I had the filet mignon au pouve from the lunch menu both times and it was perfectly prepared. Atmosphere nice. Staff exceptional. Food fantastic."
"I came here for my birthday dinner and loved every moment of the hyun-makase experience! My favorite was the cut Wagyu, and the kimchiAmbiance: zen decor, cozy, soft lighting, includes more private tables divided by curtains and also booth seatingService: our server was very knowledgeable about the different cuts of Wagyu and gave us recommendations to pair the fresh cuts with the bread and kimchi. Our server also cooked the meat for us and got us more banchan throughout the mealFood:Unmarinated Wagyu cuts: so tender, fatty and melt in your mouth delicious! I loved every cut and enjoyed pairing it with the bread soaked in the Wagyu meat fat renderings Marinated Wagyu cuts: flavorful and sweet! These come in a close second to the unmarinated cuts for me. I enjoyed wrapping these in the lettuce with a bit of the scallion salad.Birthday chocolate dessert: I wasn't expecting a birthday dessert! The dessert seemed to be a frozen mousse in the shape of a cloud. This was rich, chocolaty and delicious This was a wonderful experience! This meal was pretty rich so I'll probs be coming here for only special occasions."
"Came for the first time this past Tuesday evening. It was a good dinner, but I am conflicted about a couple of things. My fillet au Poirve was absolutely stellar, Wonderful, piping-hot baked potato, and my dining companion's steak was gorgeous as well. The onion rings were a crashing disappointment, barely warm and definitely not crispy. Here's where my dissatisfaction begins: it seems there is "team service" at this steakhouse. There were three people seeing to my table, and the one person that I told about the onion rings dropped the ball. I had stated my dissatisfaction, and that I would like a new order, but nothing ever happened. The plate of pale, limp rings was left on our table. Even as plates were being cleared, I commented to the server "I suppose we won't be getting that re-order of onion rings?" to which he said "You want more onion rings?" We ultimately were also charged for the disappointing onion rings. While I'm sure team service is a successful formula for them, I found it to be frustrating and confusing. My other two issues were that the music being played at the restaurant was an 80s playlist. I heard Def Leppard, Roxette, and Phil Collins while dining at a "posh steakhouse". Finally, Empire has a custom, clearly, where multiple members of staff sing happy birthday to tables that have a birthday celebrate. This is a full-scale, loud production. Within the space of my one hour and 20 minute meal, there were three different birthdays, and the spectacle of the "happy birthday" song derailed the calm and peaceful evening that I was hoping to have at this restaurant. The steaks were spectacular, but I am left with lingering dissatisfaction at the service, the soundtrack, and they are disruptive practice of "the happy birthday song"."
"What a great experience! Steak was amazing but the star of show was the beets .. o m gddd! So delicious. Sangeria was perfect, not sweet. Torejas.. wow! So good. Loved every bit of food but the stand out here was the service. Nicolas M. was attentive and made the best suggestions and Alejandro made us feel like we were at family dinner. Just fantastic experience."
"1. Food was incredible!2. Service was flawless! 3. Vibes on The Royal 35 Steakhouse staff made me feel so special and welcome for my birthday celebration. Truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had with some great friends!Ash the server was amazing! I will definitely return on my future trips to New York"
"My husband and I dined here for Valentines and had a wonderful experience. The interior is gorgeous, as is the view from the second floor dining area overlooking the Hudson and nearby boats. Very romantic. Highly recommend the mozzarella sticks with caviar! It's trendy and pricy, but it's super well done. Steaks were amazing, as was the baked potato with truffles"
"The Filet Mignon was so decadent. I enjoyed the special mango shrimp salad - it was refreshing."
"After a long day of work, I was welcomed at the Brooklyn Chop House by the soft sultry music + the warm smiles of the staff. My party was seated promptly and within minutes, our waiter Feliciano came over to introduce himself. Feliciano shared that it was NYC's Restaurant week so there was a special menu being offered. Our party of three each got a three course dinner for $60/pp -- can't beat that in the city! Appetizer:Impossible DumplingsVegetable lettuce wraps Chicken lettuce wraps Entrées Salt and pepper shrimp Beijing chicken Sides Broccoli and garlic Bok choy Vegetable fried rice Chicken fried rice Dessert Cheesecake Chocolate cake Chocolate ice cream CocktailsOld-fashioned with Uncle NearestThe lettuce wraps were really fresh. Great way to start our meal. The Beijing chicken SLAPS & the salt/pepper shrimp were fried to perfection. As always, the fried rice was tasty but I was really surprised (shouldn't have been) by how well seasoned the veggies were. by the tenders or hit the table, I was already full, but I took a bite of the chocolate cake anyway. it was so rich! Chocolate cake + vanilla bean ice cream = a good time! The bar has been set -- the level of service at the Brooklyn Chop House is exceptional!"

The lobster Mac and cheese is a must order! I would recommend family style for it, but it's so good you won't want to share.Portions are hearty, so if you're in between options share with a friend! Pro tip! Ask your server about the different cuts of meat, and they will bring out all options and explain each one.

A+ service and attentiveness. Food was really tasty! It's a smaller space so it can get a bit noisy - for those who prefer more quiet spots. We dined here after a matinee with my husband, brother, friend and my husband's mom, sister and grandma. His grandma has a bit of a hard time getting around and the host staff kept asking if there was anything they could do to make us more comfortable. They helped us locate the handicap entrance as well to ensure she got inside comfortably. This is one of the most accommodating places I've been to! Now onto the food! The starter bread (Yorkshire pudding) was fluffy, warm and great for picking up sauce! The HCF was really tasty and has a nice pinch to it (vinegar). We also tried the shrimp in vodka sauce, crab cake, and shrimp cocktail! All were delicious, but if I had to be picky the crab cake could have been more flavorful. For entrees, we tried the swordfish, scallops, ribeye, filet, ny steak, and pork chop. Everything was excellent, with the exception of the ribeye being a bit tough. All of the sides were excellent. We tried the broccoli, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, asparagus, fries, and crispy lemon potatoes. The mac and cheese and broccoli were standouts!

I had the pleasure of dining at Hyun during a visit to New York for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, though the space is quite small. The service, however, was exceptional--our server took the time to introduce each cut of meat and even cooked it for us at the table. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the side dishes complemented the fatty cuts perfectly. The server was also very enthusiastic about recommending additional sides, particularly the cold noodles, which turned out to be a great addition to balance the richness of the meat. That said, the meal came with a hefty price tag--sparkling water, for instance, was around $10. There's also a 90-minute time limit to all you can eat, and while the cooking and serving processes are thorough, they aren't exactly fast. The meat itself, though delicious at first, is quite fatty, and after the third serving, we found ourselves needing the sides to break up the richness. As a result, you might find yourself limited in how much you can eat, as you won't be consuming pounds of meat during the allotted time. While I did feel satisfied within the 90 minutes, I also felt like we needed to order more to get the most value for the experience. To be completely honest I was a bit sick of the fatty meat after 3 rounds. Overall, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The day after, my partner experienced a stomach issue, likely due to not being accustomed to the rich, fatty meat. I enjoy A5 wagyu, but I likely won't opt for an all-you-can-eat experience again. Due to the cost, time constraints, and the heavy nature of the meal, I likely won't return again.

After the matinee showing of The Outsiders at the Bernard Jacob Theatre, walked a few blocks to this steak house because it is convenient from the theatre. Was surprised that they have a restaurant week special of choice of 4 mains, choice of 4 appetizers, choice of 3 desserts with coffee or tea for $60.I ordered the Fried Calamari for appetizer, Ribeye rare for main, NY cheesecake for dessert with tea after dinner. Wife ordered the Caesar Salad for appetizer, Filet Mignon medium rare for main, Tiramisu for dessert with coffee after dinner. All the dishes were large so we shared them together. In fact, so much steak were left that I had them packed with the mashed potatoes and asparagus for lunch next day at the US Open. Just trying to "stretch" the dollar for our trip to New York for the US Open!

Restaurant is cute and small. Service is good and staff is friendly. We went for Saturday bottomless brunch. First started off with the mimosa which was okay, but switched to the sangria which we liked so much better. The sangria isn't sweet like most places so it's so good to drink and pairs well with the steak and eggs. The 2 sauces they brought were so good! One was a tomato base and the other was a chimmichuri. The tomato one was delicious I put it all over my dish. The steak and eggs was good, but I felt the steak was small. They could have given a bigger portion.Overall everything tasted good and I will return.

"Tip: come during happy hour when they have the BOGO deal on drinks; super worth! (We came on a Sunday around 1).This place is a bit hidden, but has some pretty good prices for large portions. The udon wasn't mindblowing, but the flavor was solid and I was happy with what I received given how much I paid. Service was friendly and fast."
"What a fantastic end to our trip to NYC to drop our youngest off at college. Great concept with the records. They brought out a tablet loaded with choices of records we could request to be played. They play a side at a time and I bopped along to the music the whole time we were there. Food always tastes better with good music playing in the background! Beyond that fun and the great music being played, the actual food was amazing! We both had the 8 oz filets and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I like horseradish with my steak and they had the uncreamy, straight horseradish which I prefer. The loaded potato was actually a casserole and was super yummy. The broccolini would make a toddler ask for seconds. Our server was attentive and all the rest of the staff was as well. Could not have been happier to find this place! It was a great date night and meal. The only suggestion I would have for them is to include smaller cuts for this of us who can't choke down 14 oz of steak! That was the smallest portioned steak other than the filets on their shared meal list. If we lived there, it would've made a good leftover steak sandwich! The 8oz filet was the smallest choice (albeit the only smaller choice) so that's what we went with and it was perfect size for one person. It would be good to have a few other smaller portions of the different cuts. When we come back to the city to visit our daughter, we are definitely bringing her to Vinyl! It's special. Thanks for a great night!"
"Hey ! - want to feel special even though most likely your mother is the only one that thinks you are ??? lol jk ( come to this place) :). Honestly the food was delicious , I had the Branzino filet (with white wine and capers ) delish ! What was also next level was the bolognese pasta dish ! Our service was excellent because of a gentleman named Benny . He was attentive and his recommendations were spot on. This is a gem if you want an old school Italian vibe with amazing food and service . It's not cheap but totally worth it - if I was an Italian gangster in the 60's this is where I would want to be killed after I finished my bolognese . Not Rao's :) Also don't sleep on the desert and espresso martini ( very very good )"
"Tried this restaurant for the first time because of restaurant week and I'm glad I did. Came for lunch with my family and most of us tried the 10oz sirloin. Despite NOT being served on those sizzling hotplates with lots of oil and/or butter, the steak was surprisingly flavorful and tasty. We all enjoyed the steak and it was cooked the way we wanted it. I had to order a salmon filet to share with my toddler. Unfortunately, he wasn't in the mood for salmon but he enjoyed the julienned veggies. Also ordered the fish and chips, as well as yhe chicken fingers for the kids. They enjoyed them both. Service was great. Love that it seems to be family owned as they were training their teenage son how to be a waiter.Overall, I would definitely come back for some tasty but affordable steak. They have alot of other items on the menu as well including pasta, chicken, fish."
"On an overnighter for a cool concert in Brooklyn, Yelp assisted me with finding this small Steakhouse in the big city! After seeing the 4.5 star rating, I knew this was the perfect place for a pre-concert meal in close proximity to the Barclays Center.Brooklyn has so many dope spots, Flatiron better deliver and they did! Dimly lit, impeccable service, this place is giving off NYC swag to the fullest! The salmon and NY Strip were great and my Dirty Martini was perfectly made.I'm always on the lookout for cool stuff to do that's driving distance from home, so I can definitely see myself returning to Flatiron the next time I'm driving up north for fun and festivities!!"
"This was a great experience overall! I'll start with the reservations process which was easy (same day resy made at around noon for 8:00pm). Peak NYC tourist times in December so I was shocked but so pleasantly impressed! They sat us quickly, waitress was stellar, food was amazing! All the appetizers and bread were great. The popovers were divine and the recipe card you get to keep is a nice touch! The meats and sides were perfectly cooked. The desserts were on point. All our food is pictured and listed. This is a good, reliable, steakhouse that also has other food items. That's the best way I would put it. Definitely better than your average, but not snobby. Wine was great and overall ambiance is great. Gave me a high end local vibe. Not a lot of tourists it seemed which I loved!"
"We had a celebratory dinner at The Loft Steakhouse recently, and we loved it! The restaurant is actually much bigger than I expected. We were seated in The Library, the room at the back characterized by hundreds of wine bottles filling all walls. While all steakhouses give out "old men" vibes to me, The Loft had a pretty divers clientele that evening: young couples, old couples, couples on a date, families. For our dinner we started with the beef carpaccio, which is served with baby arugula, pickled beech mushroom, truffle vinaigrette, horseradish aioli. Tor our main course we shared the black angus rib eye (which was served sliced as per our request) with a side of spinach. The rib eye was perfectly cooked medium-rare, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth soft. We loved it, and at 26 oz it was certainly enough for 2.Wines by the glass are surprisingly affordable considering the overall high-end dining experience. The dessert menu is quite extensive, and there were several desserts we wanted to try. in the end, we got the peanut caramel brownie special with salted caramel, chocolate ganache, crunchy coating, and the cheesecake with cream topping and blueberry gel. They were both delicious and rich, and honestly one dessert would have been enough for the 2 of us. Furthermore, we were treated to a Le Donut complimentary dessert: Cinnamon sugar donuts, with cappuccino cream and vanilla spuma, this dessert is fantastic when eaten hot.Service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, the owner actually came to our table to greet us, and at the end of the dinner he brought over the complimentary Le Donut dessert. The food was delicious, we felt very welcomed and the staff treated us like family. What's there not to love?"
"When you go out to eat (and spend money) you expect good food and maybe a little bit of an experience. Last night we got way more than that, and that is precisely why T-Fusion is my favorite restaurant. Period. I've been to them all. This is the best. I emailed the manager here about a birthday promotion they ran on their website - provide your email address and your birthday and receive a promotion. Unfortunately, I never received the promotion. I wrote that I've been here about twice in the past couple months (actually 8 times over the past two years!). So, I emailed about why I didn't get the promotion. Within an hour, she replied: free drinks and dessert. Whoa! Amazing! Shorty after we arrived, the owner introduced herself. She was very nice. A few minutes later she brought Executive Chef Daniel Rivera. We spoke about bringing back the flour less chocolate cake, which surprisingly disappeared from this past year's menu (it was the best cake I've EVER tried - Passover or no). The chef said, "sure, I can bring it back. No problem"!We also spoke about the meat board - an appetizer in the form of various meats on a wooden board. He told us he changed the board to home grown and in-house made items only (some of the items on the old voard were brought in). Very nice talking to the chef. Nice guy!So we ordered the meat board, bourbon ribs, chicken tenders, and a cowboy steak. Well the meat board has changed! It has bone marrow, steak tartare, three small meat dishes (kalbasa was one), and liver. It also has a home-grown delicious fog dip and mustard. The chef told me he personally grew the figs over the summer. Pretty cool. I think this new meat board was geared at people who like more exotic meat dishes. I don't. The old board had beef bacon and sausages and other delicious stuff the younger generation likes. I prefer the old board, but if you like steak tartare and the other stuff, go for this board. Maybe they can have both options? The bourbon ribs were able to be eaten with a spoon! I've never had such tasty ribs. I told the waiter to bring out the three steak sauces with the ribs. These three sauces are amazing, by the way.The cowboy steak was cooked perfectly. I got the waiter to bring out the sauces again. I pour the entire contents of all three onto my steak. Delicious! Seriously! Try it!For dessert, we had a tea and churros. The waiters sang happy birthday and then brought an instant Polaroid camera and took a picture of us. Such a nice touch. Wife was floored! This place makes amazing churros! Chocolate sause and strawberry puree. My wife liked this puree better than a tangy yellow puree they served with the churros a couple of months ago. I've experienced great service (Reserve Cut and Five-Fifty). But then there's what I call T-service (T-Fusion service). Drinks never reached the bottom. Plenty of servers. Servers walking around checking on their tables, but not getting in the way of customers (an art, by the way). Great waiters who clean the table before dessert and pack your stuff up and hand it to you at the end of the meal as opposed to in middle of dessert. Amazing valet. Nicest owner who comped our wine, tea, and dessert. Generous portions. This is my go to restaurant. I have no reason to go any where else. Everything is here! T you again!"
"Outstanding staff! Everything about our experience was top notch. Food cooked to perfection - knowledgeable and courteous servers. Accommodating host. Thank you Empire for making a memorable Thanksgiving experience for my family."
"Classic American dishes done well. From service to cocktails, nothing disappointed. The spring rolls are to die for and the mozzarella triangles with marinara hit the spot. Each dish was delicious and classically prepared, a great spot for a night out"
"Our Brooklyn daughter brought us here for a Saturday lunch. The garlic bread apps are terrific. We each got a signature cheese burg, excellent. My wife and our daughter's BF split a short rib and an order of fries. Very well prepared and served on a slab of Himalayan sea salt, nice touch.Drinks all around, very friendly bartender, $160."
"Food: from starting with bread, appetizers... crab cakes, caprese salad, beet salad.. delicious and amazing!!!Main course... husband had rib eye and I had chicken parmigiana omg wasSo good!!! Service was great! Denis was our waiter and he gets 5 stars! Highly recommend. Dessert: disappointed with apple cobbler but they immediately changed it to the carrot cake and that was delicious!!!"
"The staff at this restaurant are so attentive and kind. The bartender/waiter that we had was so kind and helpful. This was my partners and I'd first time at the restaurant so we did not know what to expect. The music in the restaurant was so good we had to Shazam a few songs. My partner and I do not drink so it was nice of the bartender to recommend and make us mock tails. I got the $1 oysters and had the fresh horseradish with tobasco and lemon juice. They were so yummy and fresh. My partner got the creamy garlic chicken with broccolini and mashed potatoes. Everything on his plate is well seasoned and fresh. While my risotto came out 15 minutes after my partner's entree. It was the best risotto I've had yet! So flavorful and creamy. It was definitely worth the wait. We ended the night with a free tiramisu that the restaurant generously gave us. It was homemade and so light yet rich! I will definitely be back!"
"Love it! They give you so much food! I got a lunch special for $17.99.I got an entree, two sides, salad or salad. But before she brought all that the waitress brought me three additional sides and a huge peice of pita bread. Their food is so good. The restaurant is run by Moroccans and this is authentic Middle Eastern food. They have delicious Yemenite Soup. The service is great. The restaurant atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. Though I spent more here for lunch than I originally planned to it was totally worth it. Something to be aware of, they automatically add an 18% gratuity to your bill. Tip:Order something to dip your pita in when you order something like the lunch special and the waiter brings a complimentary pita. I had originally ordered a different side but then changed it to Hummus when I saw that she brought the pita."
"For years, I have been hooked on Pomegranate's take out deli. They faithfully supported my weekly schmaltz habit and kept my personal trainer in business with all of the excess fat and calories and it was sooooo worth it. I needed some food for guests the other week, I was passing through the neighborhood (Boro Park) and didn't have the time to make it to my first choice. This place is my new fave! Unbelievable selection of salads. More inventive, unique and interesting that anything in Brooklyn. I guess the name confused me, because I was expecting to find a few mayonnaise based round containers of the odd schmear and boy was I surprised! Challa (not the sickly egg cake you get from Zomicks, the real Williamsburg style water challa), chulent so good you want to eat more by Monday, impossibly flawless roasted brisket, and the most amazing salad selection I have ever seen. A bazillion variations of herring, a potato salad with mustard (probably the first north of the Mason Dixon) and artfully blended novelties that I will be getting again. Too much to list really. I am writing this review because it took me over 15 hours to get the phone number to this place. I literally called every business on the block and nobody knew how to find them. They should have lots of success with this place, because when I called the neighbors, they told me that I was not the first to ask for the number. Cheers!"
"It sounds like an incredible journey into the past, where you can feel the atmosphere of the late 70s and 80s and reunite with familiar faces. Those times are likely associated with a unique style of communication and culture, especially in the context of early Jewish immigration. Such places offer the chance not only to dive into nostalgia but also to enjoy the authentic vibe of that era. Great food and very friendly service by the way..."
"Came here for our Anniversary lunch. we could not snag a reservation for dinner so we lunched it. I been meaning to dine here because of Bourdain, viral social media, and really wanted to try the mutton. The entrees were great. the old fashion was strong. the side were eh. $17 for string beans,$11 for baked potato, $18 for mushrooms was insane. $73 for tbone and mutton I'm okay with. I need to mine more BTC.Service was great. our waiter and runner were on point. will come back but please don't hate me about the sides."
"Went to the Broadway location with a party of 10 on Saturday night. The restaurant was clean and looked beautiful. Lots of entrees and sides ordered. thought prices were a little heavy and there were only a handful of seafood options for entrees. the $20 sides and $17 baked potato seemed excessive in price. The Lobster Mac did have large chunks of lobster but was watery instead or the creamy texture you seek when ordering this. My mozzarella and tomato salad had only two slices of tomato and very little balsamic. I was really disappointed with my choices. I tried my friend's crab cake and that was a winning appetizer. Everyone who ordered steak said their steaks arrived perfectly which is important at a steakhouse. Personal pet piece of mine is when sodas are served in tiny miniature glass bottles. I ordered one and then stuck with water. Service was good but the drinks, that were $36 each were being brought out anytime someone ran low which lead to some of our party being over served or left with drinks they would not have opted to order at the end of the night."
"We had a table booked for 8:15pm on a Friday night and on arrival almost every table was full and there was a vibe in the air. My friends were running slightly late, so I sat at the bar for a drink while waiting. The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful, and gave some great menu suggestions ahead of the meal.Once seated the friendly service continued. We did have to order quickly due to our late seating and the kitchen closing, but I didn't mind. We shared everything below:* Caesar salad - for me was a little over dressed and could have used more than 5 croutons - but I always want more croutons so that's a personal preference. The croutons that do come with it are large and delicious.* Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi - great flavor on this and a little kick from the wasabi* Garlic Mashed Potatoes - excellent. Super creamy, not too overpowering with the garlic * Truffle Mac & Cheese - this is a heavy Mac and cheese, glad it was shared between three of us. It was delicious, but you only need a small serving.* Broccoli - it was garlic broccoli, nothing special.* Gotham Rib Steak on the bone - I was slightly underwhelmed with this, but again was personal experience my dining mates liked it.Overall, I would come back when in town. I love the old steakhouse vibe and service here and it's worth an experience."
"My friends and I reunited to celebrate a successful inspection with summer restaurant week. Service was quick and great. Ambiance was fun. Food was great and we had leftovers for the next day. We started off on lychee froze and white peach sangria. My friends enjoyed the lychee froze and I enjoyed my refreshing white peach sangria. We ordered the restaurant week menu. For the appetizer we ordered the Edamame Dumplings, chicken lettuce wrap and Cheeseburger Dumplings. All three dishes tasted good. For the entrees we ordered the Beijing Chicken, Filet Mignon Beef and Broccoli, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Vegetable Fried Rice and Bok Choy. All these had great flavors. Portions were generous. We took the leftovers home for lunch the next day. Finally for dessert the chef gave us red velvet cake, which was a little on the dry but sweet enough to mask the alcohol content consumed from our drinks. I'd definitely return for lunch and even happy hour."
"Came here for a birthday dinner, specifically for the steak. The ambiance is wonderful, this is a gorgeous restaurant. Unfortunately they seated us at a puny table right next to a large tree that felt intrusive. Servers came by several times to give very vague advice on food and drink options, but then disappeared when it came time to place our orders. Waited a good 10 mins though the restaurant was nearly empty on a Monday night. Got the Sauvignon Blanc (very good), the Caesar salad (nothing special about this), and the filet de boeuf (average). Everything was expensive but honestly didn't hit the spot. The steak was $62 and not quite cooked at the requested medium rare. It came with two pathetic peppers and a salad they would not let me substitute, even though I'd had a salad appetizer. This to me is the mark of a poor restaurant. The best part of the meal was definitely the wine and the dessert (we got the sorbet trio to share--complete with candle and 'happy birthday' engraved piece of chocolate, a nice touch). I wanted to be impressed, but I'll be going elsewhere for my steak dinner."
"Sat at the bar until a table was free.Bartender was great.Food was delicious and waitstaff was attentive. It was not crowded by the time we were seated. It was quiet enough for conversation. We weren't trying to park, but there was no street parking nearby."
"I dined here back on Christmas night 2024 after watching Romeo & Juliet at Circle in the Square theatre, which was great by the way. La Grand Boucherie was packed, with every seat in the large space occupied, as well as their patio which is basically a corridor through the building. We sat at a small two top out of the way from most of the busy restaurant. The Boucherie Old Fashioned was nice and smooth. The complimentary bread was ok. We weren't given butter or bread plates, but eventually flagged down our server. The Caesar salad was very good, with hints of anchovies in the dressing. The loupe de mer was excellent -- a whole fish deboned and covered in roasted potatoes and peppers. My kid got the prime steak frites and loved it. We ended the meal with the sorbet (scoops of lemonade, grapefruit, and raspberry) for him and I had the milk chocolate caramel tart. Based on the location and knowing this is a chain, I knew it would be very touristy. But, the meal and service were very good. Definitely didn't disappoint for our xmas dinner. 4.5 Stars"
