Portion was filling and had 3 big-ish pieces of shrimp. I added an egg but it's not really necessary. I tried the tonkotsu which was also good but too smokey for me.Service was quick, they told us we only had 1.5 hr for our reservation. It filled up on a Thursday night around 630-7."

"It's probably insane that I hadn't been to Momoya yet when I'm always nearby. I always think I assumed they were ultra expensive. But they do almost every night have a line wrapped around out the door. Interestingly enough, they do have a very affordable lunch special every day where almost everything on a select menu is between $20-30. I've been twice so far and the food is super fresh. Like some of the freshest sushi I've ever had in my life. The service is truly impeccable and they're always super friendly. I ended up getting both times the 3 sushi roll for $20 deal. It's hard to pick a favorite. It's like picking your favorite child. But I really enjoyed the Yellowtail and the salmon avocado. They also give you a generous sized bowl of miso soup with it or the option of turning that into a salad. Highly recommend and will definitely be back."

"We've been going to Fonda for years and love it. Last night we almost had a lousy experience but NO! The management went above and beyond to make everything work perfectly for us. I was very grateful because it was my birthday. We all enjoy the food- my favorite is always camarones adobado and it was delicious as usual. My son loves the fried plantains and they really are they best of anywhere we've eaten. Thanks Fonda for continuing to be a reliable, fun, delicious place for our family!"

We saw so many Japanese businessmen in suits in the private booths, you know it's legit when they're all coming here to eat.Anyway for apps, we ordered the grilled salmon (salmon yuan yaki) and tako wasa (raw octopus with wasabi). Both were excellent starters.For mains, we got the sukiyaki and the kamo (duck) nanban. The broth for the sukiyaki was delicious! The cold soba was fresh, the poached egg was runny, and I also added on a piece of shrimp tempura, which was the right amount of shrimp to batter ratio for the perfect crunchy bite.My friend enjoyed the nanban, but we both agreed the sukiyaki was the way to go since it came with beef, mushrooms and poached egg, along with the entire presentation of it all.I'd come back to try some other items on the menu."

"The place is very busy when we came on a Thursday night without reservations. We were told it was a 30 minutes wait. The waiter seated us by the bar because we didn't want to wait. Staffs were friendly. The place is nice. We order a small crab fried rice which is the best fried we had in a while. The Klui Goong (5 shrimp rolls) were perfectly crispy shrimp rolls with dipping sauce. The shrimp rolls tasted good without the sauce. This restaurant definitely deserves their Michelin stars. "My cousin was in town visiting from FL and we walked by this cute spot and the menu looked diverse, yet not overwhelming and very well priced. We were not disappointed. We started off with the shrimp appetizer, which was had a lovely seasoning and was perfectly. My cousin had the mushroom ravioli and I had the 6 oz steak in a delicious peppercorn sauce with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. All terrific. Service was exceptional, friendly and attentive. The bartender was excellent, also playing DJ that included a sweet mix of classic New Orleans artists. Highly recommended!"

We were seated near a large party of women who were clearly celebrating some event and we're a bit boisterous. So the ambiance was the somewhat diminished by that. We probably we're probably greeted by our server who allowed us adequate time to review the menu as first timers and offered suggestions based on our preferences.Ultimately, we ordered mixed grill, vegetable casserole, stewed, okra, hummus with a delicious type of Turkish pita, and stuffed grape leaves with meat.All dishes were a bit on the smaller side portion-wise, but true to Turkey (authentic).I would rare our dinner and overall experience as 8.5/10 with deductions for portion size and the large/loud party (granted the restaurant couldn't control that), but nevertheless, it affected the overall experience.."

Even though i knew, I was still surprised by the spicy kick but it a good way! Appetizers were summer rolls $13 and golden puff $10. Unfortunately I couldn't try the summer rolls because it had pork but my friend really liked it. I did however try the sauce that came with it and my god..i need a bucket of that to take home! seriously!As for the entree, there were soooo many options to choose from but we had to opt in for signature dishes. We had the pad-char red snapper $32 and the royal pad thai $26. Red snapper had a tiny kick which was cute but i loved it over more over the pad thai. Speaking of which i was surprised by the amount of shrimp it came with along with 3 jumbo shrimp, most places are very cheap with it!Finished the meal off with a dessert! I was looking forward to the shaved ice but unfortunately all sold out but that's okay because i had ice cream thai style $15. When corn came out the desserts, i didn't know what to expect but wow it paired well with the ice cream..how..idk but i liked it hehe!Nonetheless, i liked the vibe and decor inside! I was by the bartender and he was super nice and very attentive! I would go back to try other things!"

"Came here on a Wednesday night in a group of 3 and everything was amazing and gluten free! We sat inside and it was super cutely decorated and they also have some outdoor dining. The servers are super friendly and attentive.I ordered the Barbie to drink and it was super refreshing and not too sweet.To start, we had the crispy tuna rice cake special and it was incredible! We also shared the crispy shrimp and the radish underneath was absolutely delicious as well! The kale salad and spring rolls were also really tasty but the crispy shrimp was my absolute favorite. For the larger dishes we got the peanut street noodles with just vegetables and it was incredible! We also got the green coconut salmon and would definitely get a side of coconut rice as they pair very nicely together! This was not a green curry but more of a green sauce and I thoroughly enjoyed.We ended with the chai cookies and chocolate lava cake. The cookies were a bit grainy and not my favorite but the chocolate cake is an absolute must get! One of the best desserts I have ever had.Would definitely recommend and return!"

Never got to try tikka masala with salmon before, so it was delightful. Only thing I didn't appreciate the hard rice, I had really hard time chewing! Peak NYC tourist times in December so I was shocked but so pleasantly impressed! They sat us quickly, waitress was stellar, food was amazing! All the appetizers and bread were great. The popovers were divine and the recipe card you get to keep is a nice touch! The meats and sides were perfectly cooked. The desserts were on point. All our food is pictured and listed. This is a good, reliable, steakhouse that also has other food items. That's the best way I would put it. Definitely better than your average, but not snobby. There were two people working, one that was cooking, and the other that was working the front of store.The food itself was great! I personally am a big fan of Burmese food and I brought a friend who's fresh from the Bay Area. I would say we didn't come with super high expectations, but I can say we enjoyed every dish and were very stuffed!Tea Leaf Salad (original & medium sized) - It was really good! The fermented tea leaves were definitely better than ones I've had in the past. We wanted the anchovies add-on, but they didn't have it the day of. It comes in both medium and large sized. I would say the medium can feed 2-3 people!Yellow noodles with chicken and eggs - delicious! Beef Curry - also very delicious! Burmese pancake - I was very eh about this actually. The flavors were okay, but I wished there was more of a kick compared to the other dishes.We ordered a bit too much, but no regrets! I would come back here to try more of the food here. "Omar's lives up to the ratings as the staff was friendly upon welcoming us to the establishment. He greeted us warmly and quickly made a table for us to sit. My partner and I got the lamb Adana pita and chicken shawarma pita, respectively. Oh boyyyyy, was it filled with juicy meat and veggies. Each table had extra sauce for you to put in it and it was amazing. I'm missing it right now as I'm typing this. The chicken shawarma was juicy with flavor and seasoned well and the lamb had a kick to it. There was so much meat it spilled into the salad which was like an extra side meal! They also gave us baklava which was a wonderful touch and that was also delicious and flaky. There is a small amount of tables but we went around 2pm so it wasn't too busy. I definitely recommend having lunch here if you're visiting the World Trade Center! Excuse the lackluster photo, I was starving and forgot to take a nicer one with all the sauces spilled into it."

When the man and I are uber famished, we'll order some lemon potatoes, as well.The Gyros are precisely what you would want and expect in a gyro; - a pinch of crisp lettuce and diced tomato for some variation in texture- fresh, crunchy, diminutive cubes of cucumber- creamy, garlicky tzatziki sauce- close to a half-pound of flavourfuly seasoned gyro meat, encompassed by a- fresh, soft but sturdy, chewy, warm pita bread...and for just $2 more, this generously stuffed sandwich comes with a large order of french fries!
