"This restaurant has the best food. Excuse the salt that was all my doing. I also enjoy the shrimp burgers this restaurant has. The staff is really friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I am hoping this restaurant expands and opens more locations."
"The Ssam is a ghost kitchen, so it took me a while to find it, as other restaurants also share the same space. But the owner was super helpful and friendly and sorted me out even though I was late for my pick-up!I ordered the tofu ssam, which was super fresh and healthy."

"This is a place to plan a group brunch with friends or a simple brunch dinner at their bar seating. The menu is somewhat limited but does offer options in terms of breakfast platters like their famous pancakes (which 10/10 would recommend to share), breakfast/lunch style sandwiches, salads and other dishes. Tried their biscuits and gravy and really enjoyed the dish. Service was quick but the wait to be seated was long."
"More of a 3.5, the food doesn't blow you away but it's solid and the prices are pretty decent. The thing that makes this place a 4 is how much of a neighborhood place this feels like, nice guys behind the counter. You're not really going to go wrong."
"The place is very busy when we came on a Thursday night without reservations. We were told it was a 30 minutes wait. The waiter seated us by the bar because we didn't want to wait. Staffs were friendly. The place is nice. We order a small crab fried rice which is the best fried we had in a while. The Klui Goong (5 shrimp rolls) were perfectly crispy shrimp rolls with dipping sauce. The shrimp rolls tasted good without the sauce. This restaurant definitely deserves their Michelin stars. Will definitely return by here and next time dressing for the occasion. Food: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambience: 5/5"
"Last night I check out the upstairs martini bar at The Dickens... this is a must try!!The martini bar is down the hallway to the left of the upstairs bar. They make a mean martini and the best part is that you get bottomless fries all night with the purchase of a martini! The fries were hot and salty and the perfect pair to my dirty martini. This is the ultimate girl dinner spot!We got a seat at the bar with no problem around 8PM on a Thursday. It definitely got more crowded later on after the broadway shows let out, but this would be a great post-theater spot if you can snag a seat!"
"Thai restaurants really knows how to put their dishes together and Charoen Krung Thai might have just won with their presentations! I mean..just look at everything! Don't get me wrong, it's tasted just as good but For drinks we got the yok manii $18 and chor muang $18. Yok manii was my favorite! Even though i knew, I was still surprised by the spicy kick but it a good way! Appetizers were summer rolls $13 and golden puff $10. Unfortunately I couldn't try the summer rolls because it had pork but my friend really liked it. I did however try the sauce that came with it and my god..i need a bucket of that to take home! seriously! As for the entree, there were soooo many options to choose from but we had to opt in for signature dishes. We had the pad-char red snapper $32 and the royal pad thai $26. Red snapper had a tiny kick which was cute but i loved it over more over the pad thai. Speaking of which i was surprised by the amount of shrimp it came with along with 3 jumbo shrimp, most places are very cheap with it!Finished the meal off with a dessert! I was looking forward to the shaved ice but unfortunately all sold out but that's okay because i had ice cream thai style $15. When corn came out the desserts, i didn't know what to expect but wow it paired well with the ice cream..how..idk but i liked it hehe!Nonetheless, i liked the vibe and decor inside! I was by the bartender and he was super nice and very attentive! I would go back to try other things!"
"I Love this place!! The Pizza is Amazing! Especially The Grandma Special!!!! The workers are Great as well. I Feel like this is the best Pizza in The City!!"
"Pretty damn good pizza. They've come along way from what I recall. Pretty sure they're using Michael's sauce from across the street in their pizzas."
"First time visit and it was delicious!! We bagels, fruit smoothies, and a blueberry muffin with butter. Staff was friendly which is always a plus."

Ok, this hasn't been open a very long time. I've gone to the original restaurant and have been hesitant to come here although I pass it to go to the other. I was lazy and saw the reviews and they were positive. Decided to give it a try. Shame on me for not looking at reviews earlier. The food here is even better. Great job. I had the salmon first and then came back the next day for the shrimp. Both well made. I would definitely suggest this place for take out.

Had been eyeing the Ssam as an option for a yummy healthy workday lunch/snack. The concept is vietnamese/korean rice paper wraps that are filled with a protein of choice and a bunch of fresh veggies and herbs. Note that this is strictly a pickup situation-- there is a window to ring and you provide your name and they bring out the food when it's ready. I knew from other photos that each ssam order comes with two wraps which are sliced down the middle but couldn't gauge how filling they would be. I was ordering for myself and one other person and ordered 3 ssams-- spicy pork, bulgogi, and marinated chicken. My personal favorite was probably the marinated chicken for a lighter protein option. The bulgogi was also very good and had more of an authentic korean profile with the perilla leaf inside. These were much more filling than expected. I had three pieces and was pretty stuffed so an order per person is definitely enough. Service here was great as well! The owner handed me my food and even provided a free drink in my order. I'll definitely be back soon!!

The hosts were so accommodating even when we didn't have a reservation. They helped us secure 3 seats at the bar. The food was phenomenal. The bartenders service was quick and I enjoyed the banter. We went in time for brunch so i am hoping in can come back for their dinner menu. Due to it being the holidays they were so intentional about their decorations and their complete holiday menu that not only garnished with holiday flavors, but also had a adorable, holiday glassware.

Wow. I was expecting great food. I was not expecting this place to completely change the course of my day.I came here after walking 20 minutes to a doctor's appointment that I found out was scheduled for the following week when I arrived at an empty office. Frustrated, I figured I would grab a nice lunch and remembered Pita Pan is on my way home. I heard about it from the Park Slope FB group where several people swore it is the best falafel around.I arrived and was slightly overwhelmed by the large menu. The owner, Aladdin (yes seriously that's his name - I know, amazing), quickly noticed and jumped in to guide me through the ordering process. He made me a lovely shawarma salad. I then noticed the stuffed grape leaves, so I asked for a side order, but I called them "dolmathes," which is the Greek word for them. After noticing I spoke Greek, he suggested I try the baklava, so I ordered that as well. I made a comment, "Just like grandma used to make!" and he then made me a bowl of lentil soup free of charge. When he handed it too me, he said, "Just like grandma used to make!" My grandma, indeed, did used to make some bangin lentil soup, and their lentil soup was indeed also bangin. Overall, I was blown away by the kindness and compassion shown to me in the exact moment I needed it. It's safe to say Aladdin turned my frown upside down. And every single thing I ate was DELICIOUS. Definitely one of the best stuffed grape leaves I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. I will definitely be back to try more items on this comprehensive menu and to visit my new friend Aladdin.

Happy New Year! Happy 1700 reviews for me! Happy way to start off 2025 with a successful visit to a restaurant an anonymous Yelper recommended to me.As I will be headed to Thailand at a later date (no telling right now), this restaurant is a great way to get into that Thai vibe. Thai cuisine is known for vibrant color, massive flavor, aroma, and spice. This restaurant carries it all the way through, and I did not have to go too far off the subway to get it. Situated right by the 14th Street-Union Square station on the 4/5/6/N/Q/R/W/L (yes, each of those lines), it is easy to see why this restaurant is plenty busy. The interior for Manhattan standards is quite possibly stunning. Two floors, but nobody is on top of each other. The layout is well thought out, and hearing Thai music play throughout the restaurant is a pleasant change of pace compared to the other restaurants that try to pump out popular American music or that drippy stuff that can put you to sleep. This is fun, modern, and effective. The servers are all incredibly cute with their safety vests and great know-how, in addition to their speedy service without skipping a beat. All of them are part of the reason why I left full, but wanting to come back for more. I will be back here, let me get that out of the way for you now. I ordered the Chicken Wings and the Drunken Noodle (the menu calls it by its traditional Thai name, the Pad Kee Mao), and both are impeccable. The wings are meaty, juicy, crispy, served with a sweet chili sauce that is effective and could be placed on anything. Served hot, these five wings are the perfect way to get things going here. The Pad Kee Mao is also hot. Hot as in spicy. Be ready to order a Thai Iced Tea to cool everything down or you will be feeling it later on both ends. It is a generous portion of food. The chicken (the protein I ordered) is the one to get each time, though getting shrimp would work too. Stick with the chicken though. Next time I would like to try a Tom Yum soup with shrimp; I did not order it this time as my server said it is more an entree than an appetizer here. Good call for her for me not to get it.I had so much fun eating here and enjoying my experience. If this is a strong indicator of authentic Thai cuisine, Thailand here I come!

A very good pizza joint on 39th St off 5th Ave that's a bit hidden but worth finding . Good pizza , good squares , good grandma pizza , decent heros and pasta dishes . Not much seating inside , but some side counter area for the standing types . Got a large pie and garlic knots for my slacker office staff and empty pizza box with no crumbs left means the crew enjoyed another free lunch courtesy of me. Will order a few pies in a few days and will expect the same results , nothing will be left the the 2 pizza boxes open . Good pizza shop that deserves more business from the locals .

"Dilly Dally second time visiting, first time dining. Service is top notch, everyone working there greets you with a smile. Good vibes inside is what I'm sayin. (We loved the back patio)Burger is quality, solid portion served with fries.Fried eggplant is crispy and cooked to perfection.Beets salad with ricotta is quickly becoming one of my more favorite apps to get while out dining. This place doesn't miss with their version.Salad was slightly over salted, can be fixed by just asking for dressing on the side. Thank you for the good times Dilly Dally keep doing what you are doing. Match books for guests would be cool addition :) 5 stars"
"Ordered in, food came prompt. The fried chicken was ok, I would order again. Sides left me a bit empty.Cole slaw was ok, mashed potatoes and biscuits were a bit powdery in texture and taste. Next time i will go with the french fries."
"Extremely underrated place to dine (in person).Fast service, fantastic fresh fish at a great value.High quality service.Mostly I order the fish but everything else I've had is great from the edamame to the miso eggplant or the tofu dishes. New York knows this place rocks, you'll see a pound of fish going out the door on delivery bikes every 10 minutes. But getting to sit in and eat it truly fresh is a great experience."
"This was a great experience overall! I'll start with the reservations process which was easy (same day resy made at around noon for 8:00pm). Peak NYC tourist times in December so I was shocked but so pleasantly impressed! They sat us quickly, waitress was stellar, food was amazing! All the appetizers and bread were great. The popovers were divine and the recipe card you get to keep is a nice touch! The meats and sides were perfectly cooked. The desserts were on point. All our food is pictured and listed. This is a good, reliable, steakhouse that also has other food items. That's the best way I would put it. Definitely better than your average, but not snobby. Wine was great and overall ambiance is great. Gave me a high end local vibe. Not a lot of tourists it seemed which I loved!"
"The food came out crazy fast, the service ok, the atmosphere was awesome. What a way to see the city and have a quick bite to eat. Definitely try the roof top bar. Love the sights and sounds and smells of the city.Just a stones throw away from Macy's. If you are heading to MSG this is a perfect pit stop before the show."
"I decided to come to ABC Kitchen for dinner and the experience was good. The outside has a very simple design and the inside mimics it as well. I feel like I'm at a classy minimalistic restaurant. The restaurant feels classy but also very homie which makes it a comfortable dining experience. Reservations were not too too hard to get which I appreciated.Food wise, we wanted to order a lot from the menu. The dishes were all done well, seasoned - only downside was the portions aren't the largest but that's what I'd expect from a nicer restaurant. My favorite was probably the sauce that went with the calamari appetizer, grass fed burger, and the moist carrot cake.I'm excited to check out the rest of the menu at some point."
"Was craving for some yummy grilled Uzbek cuisine and so I came here to order their samsa and grilled kababs and I must say it was delicious. The samsa was filled with delicious cubes of lams and it was flavorful. They have a generous portion of tomato dressing on the side to dip my samsa into and that generated a nice balance. As for my grilled kabab, it had a nice portion of fat and meat and it was grilled to perfection. It was seasoned nicely and with the added paper thinly sliced onion, it just added a wonderful texture to my kabab. I also love that they have a charcoal grill inside the restaurant. It's not gas grill so the flavor of the charcoal is all captured. Overall, I was delighted to try them out and looking forward to going back to try other new things."
"Bar Moga NYC offers a truly unique dining experience. The service was impeccable - attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food was exceptional, with highlights including the melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu Toast and the perfectly cooked Kogashi Duck Roast. However, the intimate setting also means limited space. Reservations are highly recommended, as walk-ins may have a difficult time securing a table.Overall, Bar Moga NYC is a fantastic choice for a special occasion or a night out with friends."
"When I inquired about a restroom, the guy pointed to a door marked "Out of Order" saying, "Never mind the sign, it's just for decoration." The star of the show, however, was not the 8.5 One bite score but the grandma pizza, which, against all odds, rivaled the sophistication of their fresh mixed mushroom and truffle oil masterpiece. It was as if Grandma herself, in a daring act of culinary defiance, decided to throw down the gauntlet in the face of haute cuisine, proving once and for all that love, when baked at the right temperature, can indeed rival truffle oil.https://youtu.be/qO1nGyMpbGg?si=C_T2-G59cBiyhYx6"
"Me and my friend are addicted to coming here. The food is very fresh for such a cheap price! The setting is clean and spacious. The service is always quick and never messed up my order once. I fully recommend coming here whenever you're on a budget/diet ."
"The pizza are very thin and great! I would say eating 2 sliced will not even get you full so I ordered a couple of cookies and these are definitely not regular cookies. The have powdered sugar on top and the texture is not like a regular cookie but more like a cake batter. It's not bad but it's not the best either"
"We've been going to Fonda for years and love it. Last night we almost had a lousy experience but NO! The management went above and beyond to make everything work perfectly for us. I was very grateful because it was my birthday. We all enjoy the food- my favorite is always camarones adobado and it was delicious as usual. My son loves the fried plantains and they really are they best of anywhere we've eaten. Thanks Fonda for continuing to be a reliable, fun, delicious place for our family!"
"First, the food was amazing: I ordered the cheese and preserved veggies toasties and the lobster bahn mi and got it delivered 70 blocks up- it was still up piping hot when I received the order. Will definitely order again!"
"**CASH ONLY!**I came here yesterday for casual dinner with a friend. It is a rather small hole in a wall, no frills restaurant. Maybe a few tables at most? We walked in and were seated immediately around dinner hour. It definitely does give off a friendly home-y vibe. Service was very courteous and it felt like a family owned business. There were two people working, one that was cooking, and the other that was working the front of store. The food itself was great! I personally am a big fan of Burmese food and I brought a friend who's fresh from the Bay Area. I would say we didn't come with super high expectations, but I can say we enjoyed every dish and were very stuffed!Tea Leaf Salad (original & medium sized) - It was really good! The fermented tea leaves were definitely better than ones I've had in the past. We wanted the anchovies add-on, but they didn't have it the day of. It comes in both medium and large sized. I would say the medium can feed 2-3 people!Yellow noodles with chicken and eggs - delicious! Beef Curry - also very delicious! Burmese pancake - I was very eh about this actually. The flavors were okay, but I wished there was more of a kick compared to the other dishes. We ordered a bit too much, but no regrets! I would come back here to try more of the food here. If I lived closer I wouldn't mind coming here regularly :)"
"A Malaysian restaurant! In Park Slope! And it's actually good! I never thought I'd see the day. The two of us ordered a bunch of dishes, alarming our waiter until we reassured him that we'd be packing copious leftovers. In terms of standouts, the ong choy Malaysian style a.k.a. water spinach with sambal sauce was excellent and so flavorful. My friend loved the satay beef, which was juicy and tender. The roti canai only had one little piece of roti, but I liked that it was thicker than usual, and the accompanying curry with potato and chicken pieces was very tasty.Dishes that weren't as top notch, but still good: For the red curry duck... holy moly, this was some of the best cooked duck I've had in a while. They give an abundant portion of meat with perfectly crispy skin. It's honestly a dream for duck fans. The rest was only okay, though. The dish was oddly lacking in curry sauce itself, and I wasn't a fan of the okra here, which achieved peak levels of sliminess. The Hainanese chicken was tender in a delicious soy sauce marinade, with the requisite ginger scallion sauce and tangy chili sauce. I just wish the chicken rice had been a little more moist and oily, really soaking up that chicken fat or stock like I prefer.I'd also highly recommend the teh tarik, which was milky but not too thick, and hit just the right level of sweetness."
"We arrived rather early for dinner and were warmly greeted at the door and led to the intimate upstairs dining area. We were seated near a large party of women who were clearly celebrating some event and we're a bit boisterous. So the ambiance was the somewhat diminished by that. We probably we're probably greeted by our server who allowed us adequate time to review the menu as first timers and offered suggestions based on our preferences.Ultimately, we ordered mixed grill, vegetable casserole, stewed, okra, hummus with a delicious type of Turkish pita, and stuffed grape leaves with meat. All dishes were a bit on the smaller side portion-wise, but true to Turkey (authentic).I would rare our dinner and overall experience as 8.5/10 with deductions for portion size and the large/loud party (granted the restaurant couldn't control that), but nevertheless, it affected the overall experience.."
"Headed to Soba Totto with some coworkers since it was near our office. We saw so many Japanese businessmen in suits in the private booths, you know it's legit when they're all coming here to eat.Anyway for apps, we ordered the grilled salmon (salmon yuan yaki) and tako wasa (raw octopus with wasabi). Both were excellent starters. For mains, we got the sukiyaki and the kamo (duck) nanban. The broth for the sukiyaki was delicious! The cold soba was fresh, the poached egg was runny, and I also added on a piece of shrimp tempura, which was the right amount of shrimp to batter ratio for the perfect crunchy bite.My friend enjoyed the nanban, but we both agreed the sukiyaki was the way to go since it came with beef, mushrooms and poached egg, along with the entire presentation of it all.I'd come back to try some other items on the menu."
"Love the chill vibes of this place!! And the drink the bartender made for me on the spot with just a small recommendation was sooooo tasty!!!! Literally perfect spot for after work!!"
"We had the shoyu ramen with chicken and it was sooooo good and just what we needed after being out in the NYC snow. Would definitely recommend!"
"Had to buy some pie while in New York. Stopped here just before heading to Governor's Island. Textbook pizza, quick service, straight to the point. Badda bing, Badda boom."
"When I say the food is good it's so delicious. Please go here for some good Trini food. This cute intimate Trinidadian restaurant is located right Downtown Brooklyn minutes away from BAM, and Atlantic Center. It's where the old Smoke Joint/ Peaches Hot House was located. The music was good and the staff was so sweet and accommodating. That Trini corn soup had lots of corn and was flavorful with the right amount of heat and mini dumplings. The mango chow was a perfect way to start our dinner. My stew snapper was the stellar item and must have dish. It was slightly sweet with peppa. Watch out for some tiny bits of scotch bonnet. The snapper was huge. The rice and peas had a bit too much peas for me but the rice was flavorful. I only tasted the curry since I couldn't eat meat and but it was good. Tell them @Eatingwithetienne aka Geraldine sent you. You would not be disappointed."
"For years, I have been hooked on Pomegranate's take out deli. They faithfully supported my weekly schmaltz habit and kept my personal trainer in business with all of the excess fat and calories and it was sooooo worth it. I needed some food for guests the other week, I was passing through the neighborhood (Boro Park) and didn't have the time to make it to my first choice. This place is my new fave! Unbelievable selection of salads. More inventive, unique and interesting that anything in Brooklyn. I guess the name confused me, because I was expecting to find a few mayonnaise based round containers of the odd schmear and boy was I surprised! Challa (not the sickly egg cake you get from Zomicks, the real Williamsburg style water challa), chulent so good you want to eat more by Monday, impossibly flawless roasted brisket, and the most amazing salad selection I have ever seen. A bazillion variations of herring, a potato salad with mustard (probably the first north of the Mason Dixon) and artfully blended novelties that I will be getting again. Too much to list really. I am writing this review because it took me over 15 hours to get the phone number to this place. I literally called every business on the block and nobody knew how to find them. They should have lots of success with this place, because when I called the neighbors, they told me that I was not the first to ask for the number. Cheers!"
"Omar's lives up to the ratings as the staff was friendly upon welcoming us to the establishment. He greeted us warmly and quickly made a table for us to sit. My partner and I got the lamb Adana pita and chicken shawarma pita, respectively. Oh boyyyyy, was it filled with juicy meat and veggies. Each table had extra sauce for you to put in it and it was amazing. I'm missing it right now as I'm typing this. The chicken shawarma was juicy with flavor and seasoned well and the lamb had a kick to it. There was so much meat it spilled into the salad which was like an extra side meal! They also gave us baklava which was a wonderful touch and that was also delicious and flaky. There is a small amount of tables but we went around 2pm so it wasn't too busy. I definitely recommend having lunch here if you're visiting the World Trade Center! Excuse the lackluster photo, I was starving and forgot to take a nicer one with all the sauces spilled into it."
