"Okay so this is literally one of my favorite "Hangout after work" bars but this time I took my Adorkable guy with me for the first time ever. And as usual it didn't disappoint. Let's talk about it!Atmosphere! So this has like a divebar feel to it which I dig. When you walk in by the entrance there's like a couch you can chill on. When you reach the very back they have a projector that comes down so the customers can watch sports. There's pretty plates on the walls and some mirrors. I love how lively the place gets it's always a good time with good people. The bathroom is spacious and always clean every time I come as well so that's a plus for me! LolOkay food time ^_^Dranksss!My adorkable doesn't drink so he had a ginger ale. But I ended up getting a **Raspberry Margarita** which is not on the menu only because I asked if there was any flavors I can add to my margarita and they said we have raspberry and I said sure let's go for it lol. It was pretty good! Appetizers!Ground Beef Nachos:: So If you read any of my other reviews you already know that my bf and I loveee Nachos! I did want to bring some variety to this review so I ordered a second appetizer lol. He literally rated the Nachos 3 out 5 and I have to agree it wasn't bad by any means but the meat only had a little bit of seasoning. The texture was off because the ground beef was kind of dry not really juicy. There wasn't enough cheese it was kind of hiding on the bottom meaning once you're halfway through the food that's when you start tasting the cheese sauce. The chips were a little stale so overall the dish was mediocre. A way to combat this is well you can let them know if more seasoning is needed or if there's not enough cheese tell them that's an important part of Nachos! Lol Warm Spinach Dip:: I usually get this every time I come because it's so delicious. And it didn't disappoint! Cheese yummy goodness with spinach? You literally can't go wrong! My chips were kind of stale as well but the dip made up for the taste of the chips so I was a happy camper! LolEntrées! (It gets better just hold on lol)Chicken quesadilla:: it was really good the chicken was juicy and the cheese was monetary jack and cheddar so I was in heaven lol. The Housemade Guacamole was soooo fresh and delicious! Fish & Chips:: This was a Chantel Showstopper! Once again my bf gets a dish I love more than mine lol. The fish was surprisingly huge it was succulent moist and it literally melts in your mouth. The fries were like a 3/5 because it just wasn't salty enough to our liking lolOverall I'm still going to come back because there's so many different things on the menu to try and try again! For example one time when I came with my coworkers we had their wings and calamari and they were so good. I'll update my review when I come here next time and try other things but seriously guys come for the fish and chips because that fish was amazing! Until next time happy eating ^_^"
"The pub is rather new here. We arrived about 6:30PM. We were greeted when we walked in, and we're directly seated. Our server came to our table and asked for our drink order. He was very disinterested. It took a few minutes for our draft Guinness to arrive. And the server left without saying a word. He later came back and ask for our dinner order. My wife asked for the Shepherds Pie, and I the Bacon Spinach salad. Again the server left without another word or question. The place was extremely loud with the recorded music very loud. All the patrons were forced to shout to communicate!! And nothing at all suggested an Irish pub!! Our food came again without a word. But the food was delicious!! The pie was great! Very tasteful and perfectly seasoned. The salad was huge and so much bacon. Truly fantastic!!All and all it was good, not not at all like an Irish pub!"

"This was a nice spot for some drinks and small plates to enjoy. Came here with my other half. One of the bartenders was nice. I asked for hot sauce and he gave me a whole selection of sauces for me to pick one. Had the chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was too dry for my taste."
"In the mood for pub food, then this is a place for you. On this very cold January Monday, we were looking for good pub food with a relaxed, chill vibe. And upon entry I knew my fellow Yelpers had not let us down. Good food, good service & a good NYC Irish pub. My fish n' chips were fresh and yummy; I would have liked it if it were a wee bit crispier but the freshness of the fish made it worth my while; my husband's burger was huge and delicious but messy...lol! Coupled with a Sam Adams pint beer, the meals were satisfying and complete."
"A clean Irish pub across the street from Penn station.Walked by and peeked in and said this will do.So we just wanted a quick bite to kill a little time before the train showed up.Plenty wide screens around the the bar and the other side of the tables.Settled in for a Rueben sandwich and fries. The Rueben was good and the fries came out hot and crispy. It was a good choice."
"Great food. Super friendly service , tons of tvs to watch the game and really clean place. No sticky tables or floors like most bars in nyc"
"Stumbled into this bar while looking for an alternative to Connelly's, which was packed. We wanted to escape the foot traffic and I'm so glad I stepped inside. The bar was pleasantly empty, with just a few people scattered around enjoying their weekend and taking a breather from the chaos outside. It felt like taking a deep breath in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. When I noticed they had Golden Monkey on tap, I was ecstatic! That alone is reason enough for me to come back the next time I'm in the area. This lowkey spot offers an impressive variety of beers on tap...there's a good chance they'll have your favorite if you're willing to come. The service was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience. Also noticed the place might go by the name Megan's."
"Beer list w NO PRICES......BIG TURNOFF for meWife had $16. Martini Be Aware....check comes w20% gratuity already added !!Atmosphere 5 out of 10Won't be back........too many better places"
"Service was great! The Hollow Nickel was more than I expected and just what I was looking for. Whoever recommended the Penicillin was on point. The pub fare was tasty. I had expected their spicy burger to be more than a slow after-burn, but the jalapeno sauce had flavor. The fried pickles were good, but would recommend a different side.Although I visited solo and enjoyed the atmosphere, I recommend going with friends to enjoy the drinks and company."
"Came here on a Sunday afternoon. It's a nice and chilled spot in parkslope. The pub offers indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has a variety of foods and drinks to choose from. Service Is quick. Food and drinks are always on point with flavor."
"Run that extra mile ... so that starter ... then come and enjoy the indulgence of the Berger at Brew Inn. Best burger in Greenpoint. Friendly down home staff. Great beer selection. Neighborhood gem."
"I came here on a Saturday for brunch and the place was packed and it had a nice vibe going. My friends and I went with the bottomless brunch which was $27 when you buy a brunch entree. What I love was that the bottomless not only included mimosas but Aperol spritz which I'm a huge fan of.The spritz were very tasty yet strong enough. As far as my entree I went with the brunch nachos with buffalo chicken. The nachos were delicious and a very generous portion for one.I really enjoyed our brunch and will definitely be coming back."

Ok. I'm a pretty casual person. I just have to say the corned beef and Swiss on rye with sweet potato fries I had last night was a spiritual experience. Absolutely glorious!Barry & Red make everyone feel welcome. Russian/thousand Island on the corned beef, honey mustard on the sweet potato fries, my long day at work was relieved by this local pit-stop. Really friendly employees as well as customers. What a neighborhood gem! Also you KNOW I love my girl Debra the early evening bartender who knows everyone's name and what everyone drinks.

This is a cute pub located right in the theater district. I came for dinner right before Redwood and it was great. There's live music and the singer was lovely. I got the fried chicken sandwich which came with fries and a pickle. The fries were great and the sandwich was good, but I though the chicken was a tad dry. Service was good although it did take a while for us to get the check despite asking a few times, I guess they were busy that night. Also, if you show the waiter your Broadway ticket you get a small discount!

I live right around the corner and have been meaning to try this place forever. So glad I finally did! The meal was delicious and the overall vibe is great! We ordered the scallop mac and cheese and the steak. The mac and cheese was AMAZING. 100% recommend. The steak was really good, but not the best steak ever. Solid, but I think a bit hyped after reading all these reviews. The place has a nice dive bar feel, without the skeevy vibe of being dirty. Will be back for sure!

Looking for a last minute lunch spot & we ended up here, no rsvp necessary & if you arrive before your party they will sit you. Drinks, we kept it simple with Coke, Sprite & Ginger ale, not bad. On the appetizers , we had Mozzarella sticks they were very good , good size & really good Mac & cheese bites. I had the Grilled chicken sandwich comes with fries the apples in the sandwich surprised me? Only because I am not a huge fan of fruit in the food all depends of course but it worked well with this sandwich it was very tasty. Friends had Grilled Cheese & Buffalo chicken burger, they both enjoyed their sandwich. Small location , decent bar area upfront seating towards the back a bit small but it was good.Although our waitress didn't ask if we wanted drink refills, seemed like she was alone , service overall was not bad. Decent price, we enjoyed our lunch.

NativeNew Yorker(Sadly I'm in DC now Look it's soooooo close to Penn Station That being said it still has a neighborhood bar feel& Katie sealed the deal! She was super sweet & so accommodating! This is what's missing from the service industry! Come see her, immediately She rocks!! I felt like I knew her/she knew me& we go man just do what we do!! Katie

Quiet corner of Park Slope with a nice find of drinks and small foods. We got the loaded tots (highly recommend - next time will try the other type!) and the sweet potato fries are pretty good too.We got peaches in regalia which was light and refreshing. Good atmosphere!

Came here RIGHT after the first night of a show at the Longacre (point of clarity it's been awhile since a shows been in this theatre I believe) and naturally we all we next door to the bar and hung out with our friends to talk about the show and eat.I sat at the bar tonight and STEVEN was a fucken ROCK STAR! I normally don't stop to write a review mid meal but I had to because the bar is packed and he is just doing an amazing job!Food is coming out HOT and FAST and is tasty, drinks are good and it's a fun vibe! DEFINITELY recommend! Hopefully you get Steven!

"Very chill backyard vibe with tables that has seating on all sides so even with a larger group you can all still have a conversationThe hotdogs were great and the buns were perfectly toasted, if you like the snappy Nathans type hotdogs then definitely give the ones here a try. Should definitely ask the staff for their recommendation for topping combinations as we were recommended something off menu and it was the best hotdog I'd had in a long timeThe pumpkin ale on tap was also great, very pumpkin-y"
"I have 4 stars bias I didn't know you could fry cauliflower and make it taste decent. If it wasn't for that I would've probably give 3 baca the calamari didn't have no flavor, I was trying to figure out if it was made on premise or came out of a box. The dipping sauce didn't have enough to balance it out to have flavor. The Korean sauce that came with the cauliflower was different, I think I liked it but I only had a little taste of someone else's so I'm not sure. My drink was okay. The staff was pretty good and fast."
"On a random weekday afternoon, vibes chill and this pub is, oddly, extremely nice inside. The bathrooms? Top tier. I ordered the meatball sandwich, which came with cheese and pesto. I am a sucker for a good sandwich with pesto inside, and this was no different. I was honestly so shocked by how well constructed this sandwich was. Like, the bread was just crunchy enough to keep its shape with the meatballs inside but still soft enough that it didn't scratch the top of your mouth or anything while eating it. The only thing is that it was a bit dry, even with the pesto. I still gobbled this entire thing up, though. My friends and I came to yap, and I also appreciated that they let it happen (though the fact that they weren't that busy probably helped). Food was surprisingly good, and the menu touches on a lot of different dishes. There's definitely something for everyone. I'd come back!"
"Went here after reading some reviews. Pretty standard NYC bar but I was there for the District burger. It did NOT disappoint. Juicy and absolutely delicious. I would walk there again just for that burger. Exactly what I wanted."
"Great space for a small outdoor oasis in the busy city. The service was 5 stars, the food was 5 stars and the value was great. Guiness was poured right with lots of drink options available. Come early, as space fills fast and is first come first serve. They have two spaces with TVs you can rent that have awnings. Alternatively, the bar attached is great fun too. Very clean pub feel. Definitely worth dropping by for a pint with friends!"
"I don't know why we came to a place called Green Room on St Patrick's Day--it was like asking to be mauled by drunken pale men with dad bods. But despite that, it was actually not a bad time. The drinks are solid, there's food(try the Mac and cheese balls, dude), and the place is more spacious than it looks. Give it a shot if you're in the area, and looking for laid back drinks."
"We were there just this afternoon but I had to write because our experience was a special one. We were at an Italian place not far away who asked us to leave because we had chicken nuggets with us for my 6 year old with autism. I explained the reasons why I have to bring outside food with me but we were asked to leave regardless. A truly horrible feeling that I wouldn't wish on anyone. We left and walked in front of Connolly's and I figured we'd ask before sitting and tell them up front our situation. The manager (Diego I believe he said was his name) came over right away. I explained everything and he immediately put my mind at ease. He took us to the table, explained that he understands because he sister has worked with the special needs community for many years and that these exceptions are the least they can do. I broke into tears right there at the table. I can't tell you what that act of kindness and inclusion meant to me. Onto the food-delicious! Fresh and fast and we didn't drop more than $50. The place is an old-fashioned pub but I liked it. The dark wood throughout was beautiful. The service was great as well. Thank you guys for today-it really meant the world."
"Stopped here for lunch during Christmas and New Year's. It was really busy but we were able to find 2 seats at the bar. There was only one member of staff working but she did a great job of serving so many people. We ordered the fish and chips, chicken club and a side of curry sauce. The food was delivered pretty quickly and everything tasted good. The curry sauce was slightly sweeter/fruitier than we are used to but it wasn't a bad version of UK curry sauce. There were a couple of football (soccer) games on and the bar was really buzzing on a Monday afternoon. A really fun spot to watch some sport and have some good pub food. We live locally and will definitely visit again."
"The line for Hometown BBQ dragged back to its hometown. Brooklyn Crab was filled to the gills with day drinkers and crustacean lovers. The Good Fork was opening momentarily so we figured it would be easy to walk in for dinner. Easy, it was. It was a solid meal though somewhat forgettable. The restaurant itself is cute with a backyard area covered with string lights. There are two rooms within the restaurant, one that overlooks the backyard, and the one where you walk in, which is somewhat dark because it doesn't receive natural lighting. Yelp describes The Good Fork as eclectic. I would call it Korean fusion, which doesn't always necessarily work. I think The Good Fork skirts the line pretty well between crazy concoctions and respectable food. I only wish it was executed better. Four of us shared a variety of dishes. My boyfriend and I shared the vegetable scallion pancake [$14] which, if you're looking for a traditional Asian pancake, it is not this. The pancake was drizzled in various sauces and was fried. It was not overly wet nor greasy. Perhaps, it could have used a little more seasoning. It was a good size to share between two people and it satiated us. I had the Korean Steak and Eggs [$30] which I thought was passable. The steak, cooked medium, was delicious but the kimchi fried rice on the side was lukewarm and was not particularly sour. I think the waitress waited until all the entrees were ready before serving them to our group. The sunny side up egg was just runny enough to spill over the rice, but only just. My friends got the burger, I probably should have gotten that too and for half the price. I also ordered the rhubarb and strawberry cobbler [$9] for dessert (spring!) but my excitement was quickly dashed. It looked like it was thrown onto the plate from the baking pan. Let's call it rustic. It was tasty but it was hard to cut through the rhubarb, while the rest of the pastry was kind of soggy. My friends had Steve's Key Lime Pie (which is also located in Red Hook). I thought the lime flavor was muted, versus what you get at the actual shop, which I've been to. I had the Carpe Diem [$12] which is a margarita with jalapeño and other fruit flavors. It was quite good! All in all, the check came to close to $200 for four people before tip. Yikes."
"Had a great dinner experience here last night, a Saturday. We had burgers (Gaelic and Barbecue) which were perfectly cooked and large, with delicious ingredients. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The place is lively, with games on screens all around the front room where we were seated, but it wasn't too loud to have conversation. We were able to substitute simple iceberg salads for fries (which looked great but we are trying to control ourselves). Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend if you're looking for a pub."
"Came here during the Tribeca film festival. Very friendly staff. Ordered the Grain Bowl very tasty. The bar tender was super understanding. Told him was in a rush and he put my order in with a rush. Very chill vibe. Highly recommend."
"My friend wanted to treat us to this place and at first I was a little reluctant as it seemed kind of divey but I'm glad I came. During happy hour the oysters were $1.50 each which was a wonderful deal. I ended up ordering the maitake mushroom rigatoni which was really delicious. It had cherry tomatoes and basil. The cherry tomatoes were really sweet and juicy. The pasta was full of flavor and I liked that there was already chili flakes and cheese ontop. Theres a cute little bar in the basement floor which was so cute! It literally looked like someones basement with a bunch of couches, a pool table, and a photobooth. It had a really cute charm to it! I'm even kind of reluctant to give a good review because maybe this is a place to gatekeep lol"
"This review is not hard to write...grass fed burgers cooked to perfection (mine medium rare and my friend's medium) with a great char flavor. The bun was grilled as well and the fries that accompanied the burger were delicious. Very relaxed atmosphere (at least on a Tuesday night). I loved that you place your order directly with the kitchen and get your own water....no unnecessary waiting! Communal self-seating was also a plus!"
"My coworker and I was looking for a place to have Margaritas and Nachos afterwork for Cinco de Mayo. Niall's had a beautiful sign outside that caught my eye $10 Margaritas. We ventured inside the pub to check out the Margaritas and Nachos. The Margaritas were pretty good so after a few we stepped it up to the Casamigos Tequila. The nachos were good - a little heavy on the cheese but still pretty decent. Since we was having a good time we had to throw some spicy wings in. I was amazed how plentiful the order was. The wings taste really good and was spicy just like we like it.The bartender was awesome, very personable and was making really good drinks. The customers were nice and everyone was talking and the older customers were telling funny jokes. It was a good experience. Also if you use a credit card there is a 3% processing fee which is not bad considering you are in midtown."
"Came here to grab a bite after catching a show at BAM Strong, and was delightfully surprised! On a Friday night, the only seats left were at the bar or a picnic table, so picnic table it was! The restaurant/bar has a real sports vibe to it, which was perfect because I was craving a burger and a cider!I ordered the Classic Burger Deluxe ($17) and added on lettuce and tomato ($1), and the entree came with fries, so that was great. And the burger tasted delicious! And at first I thought I wasn't going to be full with the amount of fries, but I was wrong! I was stuffed to the brim, so that was money worth spent!A friend ordered Grilled Broccolini ($11) and they were so good! So if that's something you're considering, get it!Overall, the menu is pretty affordable and the entrees are very filling, so definitely would recommend! I'm eyeing that Bar Steak for my next trip!"
"We just walked in here to see if we could order some food for the karaoke place nearby. The bartender was very nice and said we could order to go. I got some tacos and a frozen margarita. The place has a nice atmosphere with a quiet tv show playing. It was quick service."
"The view is still awesome here, they have a pretty sweet spot right on the corner. The service was way better this time, both the bartender and server were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. It definitely brightened my day.On this trip I tried the food. It was decent pub food, nothing I was overly enthusiastic about. The wings were just ok and the fried pickles are what I consider a 'fair' type of beer batter fry, think funnel cake-ish. Again, these were fine. Typical standard bar/pub food.I got ciders and tried some canned sweet tea thing that was advertised in the bathroom, they were standard.A much better experience this go around and I will be back, especially for that view."
"Typical pub. Nice upstairs section with balcony. Nice bartenders. Came here for an after party and it was ok."
"Really enjoyed a casual Sunday brunch here. The burger was good, cooked exactly medium rare, and had a good amount of bacon. Fries were fresh and tasty. Short rib hash was really good! Service was friendly and quick"
"Stopped in for a quick bite and an ice cold brew, not disappointed! In fact service was fast and the room was great. Ordered the steak sandwich with fries. It was flavorful and worth every cent! Nate our waiter was also very efficient. Serving up the tequila and beer. Always came by to check on us. He was a gem. Definitely recommend you sit in his area ambiance was a bit loud but hey it's football Sunday so what do you expect. Let's get loud and have a good time! Thanks Nate!"
"Been here a few times and enjoyed my experience each time. The staff is attentive, polite and friendly. It can get packed at times for big events but that should be expected even with how spacious it is. Expect your typical bar drinks with good bar food. I definitely recommend this spot and think you should give it a try. If your experience is not the best, then don't blame me : )"
"Mother's is a bar restaurant offering some good deals on food and drinks. They have a slew of $10 cocktails, which is very affordable in relation to other bars in the area. Staff is very friendly, especially the bartender. I ordered a Pan Fried Tilapia Sandwich with a side of tater tots for a $1 up charge. To be fair, I'm not the biggest tilapia fan but the sandwich, especially the potato bun and condiments, was enjoyable. The sandwich included a large piece(s) of tilapia. So, make sure you're hungry for this one. The tater tots were crisp and not too greasy. There's both indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor seating area provides for good people watching as it's located on a busy commercial street."
"Best burger in Red Hook. Always hooked to the perfect temperature, good fries, great seasonal salads, and really good wings. Friendly service, all the locals frequent here. Good price, cash only. Well behaved dogs allowed in the backyard."
