"I went to this restaurant for some lunch and a couple of cocktails. When I arrived, I had to circle the block a few times to find parking. I found parking about 10 minutes away. I walked into a cute restaurant. I was sat by the manager and Luis was my server, and he was good. I ordered from the lunch menu, the pumpkin gnocchi, and the Nashville chicken sandwich. For my cocktails, I got the espresso martini, which was really good, and the lemon drop martini, which was ok. The food came out, and I enjoyed the gnocchi. It was different as far as flavor but good. The Nashville chicken sandwich was good, just a little sticky. I definitely had a good experience!"
"Quick meet and eat with Lisa E. and our lovely daughter Mele before a show. Second time here bit first indoors. Nice NY bar feel with a more than decent cocktail list. My classic negroni was indeed as described, classic in every sense. The duck confit carnitas was a delight to eat! Two crispy skinned legs plated with everything needed to make mexican style peking duck. Appetizer portion was more than enough for a meal. I could see their chipotle hoisin sauce becoming the latest sriracha craze."

"American style lunch. Solid options. Decent portion size.Service was decent, I think we had a switch of waiter half way. But staff are very friendly and respectfulThere are two sections for seating, one near the outside door, and a section further in. Has a diner theme seating."
"Loved this place so much. Came here with one of my girlfriends on a cold night. The bartender was nice. I wasn't sure what to order because I'm a tequila girl. So he made me a tequila soda. I believe my friend just had a beer. It's a great little bar area. I did see that they have a food dining area in the back. :bathroom alert:"It's a little strange passing everyone's tables to get to the bathroom. Make sure you watch your step. But overall, it was clean. I could see myself coming back here to start the night. Not to end it. I didn't think I was going to be allowed to come in because I was dressed like a bum. The prices were really good too."
"While waiting for our dinner reservations, we popped into this lovely bar for a quick drink. It was quite busy on a weeknight, but bartenders were also quick to take our orders and provide any service.I ordered the Garden of Heat-en ($16) while my friends had the Drink Formerly Known As ($16) and #HornyinNewYork ($16). All three drinks were refreshing and colorful. All the ingredients were prevalent as we sipped the drinks. Great bar to meet with friends in the lively Midtown East area."
"Walked here from my hotel in Chelsea and I am glad I did! Great experience! Friendly service and great food! Truly a little gem in the West Village. Great outdoor sitting with great people watching. I had the avo toast with brioche French toast. DELICIOUS. Food was tasty light and just right. THANK YOU! I will be back!"
"Cebu Bar & Bistro is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. We stumbled upon this place Christmas Eve Weekend after trying to go to both Kettle Black & Ho Brah for dinner and both being closed for private holiday parties. Boy, were we happy to find that Cebu was open. Even though the back room was occupied for a private party, the rest of the establishment was open for regular dinner service. Cebu is accessible via public transportation, including the R tain to 86 Street Train , as well as the B37 & B16 & B63 buses. There are various stores, eateries & hangout spots around this neighborhood, and Cebu is near a few places, including Chadwicks, which is a nice Steak House. When we eventually crossed the street and went into Cebu, we were glad to be greeted by the lovely hostess and to find seats at the bar area. Menus were provided to us, and I observed a nice-sized crowd of patrons enjoying their dining experience while eating fabulous llooking dishes. Cebu has a chic ambiance and lively atmosphere. Cool lighting and pictures are all throughout Cebu, including in the bathroom. Great music played in the background - Dua Lupa, Rihanna, etc. We ordered the "Modern Love" cocktail - Empress 1908 Gin, Elderflower & Lavender, and the "Spiked Lemonade" cocktail - Deep Eddy, Sweet Tea Vidka, Lemonade & Mint. Both of the cocktails were delightfully refreshing. Cebu gives complimentary bread, which was served warm and tasted fresh. Our Steak Skewers Appetizer as well the Entrees- Rigatoni w/ Sausage and Slamon w/ Asparagus - were good. Shout-Out to Doug, Richard, Brian, Natalie & especially to Fernando as they all were so kind to us. Cebu Staff provided wonderful customer service, and we look forward to returning to try other dishes. "We had a big group to try out all the dishes they have on the menu. Overall it was great! My favorite is their breads: so soft and fresh. The grilled shrimp dish is also amazing. My least favorite is mussels because I have had elsewhere better. Most of the dishes are on the salty side, with a lot of sauces (especially for the salad) and it's not really exactly my preference.Staff is attentive. Drinks are bomb! Will try to come back!"
"I loved it! It was 200% busy on Wednesday snow night! The bar is cute, I got there early and had a martini then my friend arrived and we moved to the table. I love their onion soup, it's pretty heavy and I recommend to share. We had steak tartare, beef stake, salad and flies then share caramel pudding was delicious! Sorry forgot to take foods pictures."
"*** 3.5 stars ***This review is only for the spam musubi. On the hunt for the best spam musubi in NYC, I decided to spend $20 getting an order of the spam musubi spicy + spam musubi regular delivered to my house. Pricey, but if it was the best it would be worth it (note that $8 of that cost was delivery, but even so, for the portion size, $6 for 3 pieces is pricey).I found both to be a bit too salty and the spicy really didn't do it for me - it took away from the taste of the spam musubi itself. The regular was good - not the best, and not the worst, but as I mentioned, pricey for what you get. Will continue on my hunt!"
"Cute atmosphere, nice servers and host, good food. Was overpriced but that's to be expected from a trendy NYC cafe. Overall great atmosphere!"
"My girlfriends and I got here after 4pm on a Friday, and we were the first ones. It was lovely sitting by the open window, and the fans were blasting. There are large TVs, which were showing the Olympics. More fun for us.The menu was pretty robust for the time of day. I could have had any of the cocktails, truly. The campfire old fashioned hit the spot. The bartender was chill and nice - attentive enough. The decor, particularly the central tree, is stunning. It feels like a very fancy cabin."

Had a great group meal at Market Table! The seasonal menu had a number of hearty dishes fit for autumn -- we tried the grilled swordfish, the pan crisped half chicken, and the pork loin. Each was unique and thoughtfully prepared. The menu did give a "try hard" vibe. No one dish blew me away, but the meat and fish were all cooked to the right temperature, and flavors were good overall. The service was also excellent, with servers who were thoughtful about checking in periodically, going above and beyond to accommodate a tree nut allergy for one person in our group.Solid option if you're looking for upscale American fare in West Village!

Really enjoyed our time here. Good atmosphere. Recommend the fries with white sauce. Not far from Broadway/Times Square but good bar with decent prices that won't break the bank just a stone's throw away. Really enjoyed the espresso martini and food service was quick.

We came here for a quick bite on Saturday around noon. Luckily we walked in before there was a line. Decor is fine. Staff is friendly. Food came out quickly. Taste is on the point. BLAT:8/10. Bacon is crispy; flavorful.Steak&egg: 10/10. I'm surprised how tender the steak is. I think this steak is the best of all Steak&Egg I've tried so far. Tender and flavorful.

I found myself at Giorgio's of Gramercy for an educational dinner. Since steakhouses are the go-to for events like this, I always find it refreshing when another type of restaurant is selected. Knowing that Giorgio's serves Italian cuisine, I was a little suspect but excited nonetheless to check this place out - so off we went. Giorgio's itself is a relatively small restaurant, and since we were a large party we were actually seated in a private room on the fourth floor of the building the restaurant sits in. The space was sparsely decorated, but it was super nice in the fact that there was a bar in the back of the room and we had access to dedicated bathrooms. I was impressed with the space - it was warm, comfortable, and ideal for a private event. All of the food was served family style and came out in phases - in total we were served the following: a bread basket, green salad, Caprese salad, fried calamari, roasted vegetables, some sort of grain as a side, steak, chicken, and pasta. In general the food was good - my favorites were the salads, chicken, and pasta. The chicken had a flavorful sauce paired with it, and the pasta had vodka sauce which had just the right amount of richness. The steak was a little too tough for me, and was disappointed not to see legs with the fried calamari (just large rings - a red flag). It was getting late so I peaced out before dessert was served.Service was good - the staff was consistently making sure glasses remained full and the food came out at a good pace. Overall, I had a good experience at Giorgio's - the food was kind of a mixed bag for me, but I saw promise and chalk up some of the shortcoming to the fact that we were a large group and everything was served family style. I would be open to returning so I can get a feel of their more traditional dinner service.

Decent option for brunch especially in a bigger group for bottomless. We ordered the huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito which were both good options! We got pulled in here because of the name of the restaurant but so glad we did since it was an awesome brunch!

Holy cow! Incredible! Went for brunch and licked the plate clean! Vibe was so cozy and quintessential west village! We came when they opened at 10:30am, got sat at the bar immediately. By 11am they had a wait and I know why! I would wait in line if I had to because it was so good!I will be coming back for dinner soon! Love love love!

I attended a baby shower here, and boy, was I blown away. The private room for events was so nice with a moody (darker) vibe, natural light pouring in from the glass windows, and greenery. It was very spacious and had bathrooms within the room, and most of the workers were very friendly. The food was never ending, I think it was like four courses, which is just what they offer for events. First was three different appetizers per each table (or more like group of tables). The lollipop chicken wings, meatballs, and calamari were all delish. But the meatballs ranked last. Next came a small salad, which was the right amount. I don't know what it contained but it was a pretty good simple salad. Then came the penne alla vodka, which was not the best I've had but also not the worst. I wouldn't come here to satisfy that craving but it was acceptable. My entree was a French toast, which was ok. This meal took four hours! But I guess it's because guests didn't all come at the start time and we played games in between. I would consider holding an event here.

Otis, My Man! - Animal HouseI planned out both dinner and show Friday night for my wife. I have the first reservation at 6pm but in order to make this all work she has to leave work a little early. She says it shouldn't be a problem but all I'm thinking about is their homemade breads. If there's an issue, I may leave late. Woman, set yourself on fire and run out of there! Once inside, this is a beautiful space in Bushwick. Bushwick always makes me laugh. If my grandparents were alive they'd say the rosary for me. Bushwick in the late 70s? As I see the subway across the street, I can see why in 2024 this is a popular neighborhood.Walking inside, there is a long beautiful looking bar that's stocked with some high end booze. I was about to order one of the great Scotch offerings but I see a smoky & spicy Otis signature drink called "Revenge Of The Line" made with Mezcal, Charred Pineapple and Habañero. Ah-mazing.The Otis Menu isn't broken down into starters and mains. The Otis team lists everything, figure it out and order. My wife & I made this work. Starting with the Burrata and the Roasted Beets. The Burrata was on top of this Sweet Potato and Tomato Jam. Once the burrata was cut open, delish! We slathered the cheese on the charred focaccia, soo good! The roasted beets with Ruby Frost Apples were another solid dish. What made it next level was the Crispy Quinoa and Candied Pecan bits. Highly recommended.Next, Lamb Meatballs and Braised Pork Pasta. We're sitting at the chef's table and watching these guys cook is crazy. They have 5 pans going at once and they are hustling to get food out. I see them take the Lamb Meatballs and put them on the grill to get that charred goodness. When they're finished the Lamb Meatballs are plated over a Tomatillo Tahini. This is a phenomenal dish, and the definition of phenomenal: very remarkable, extraordinary. Finally, the Braised Pork Pasta. This was something I never had before, it says miso but the underlying flavor tasted more like cinnamon. House made Gigli Pasta with Pork Shoulder which was cooked low and slow, fork tender soft and loaded with flavor. This dish was topped with House-Made Ricotta. Best described as a little heat with sliky tomato sauce, the Braised Pork Pasta is the best dish on the Otis menu. The desserts looked amazing but we were so packed I had to say No Mas.I am so glad we dined at Otis, I highly recommend Otis for Cocktails and Dinner.

"San Gennaro starts tomorrow.Press Conference tomorrow 11am at LaMela Ristorante for Heywhosbetterthanyou.com Great omlette three interiors, decaf, fruit, toast.Good vibe sitting facing the streetBottle of water on table to start with.Good service."
"A great go to spot for my friends and I! Great environment, and a bonus in the winter- lots of coat hangers on the wall :)The prices aren't wild for being in this area...which we appreciate. Drink prices aren't too bad. The staff is great."
"I came in with no expectations. But I was delighted with the food. Well seasoned, well cooked, great selection. The service is good as well. I do recommend it, it tastes healthy!!"
"The Ambiance is amazing.. the food was impeccable and the service was on point. Right in heart of Times Square is this gem of a restaurant perfect for a birthday celebration. Very expensive yet feels like it's worth every penny. Definitely recommend checking it out to celebrate something or someone special."
"Absolutely delicious every time we visit! Our favorite spot for fresh veggies and finger-licking delicious pasta. Highly recommend!"
"Walter's is a Fort Greene, neighborhood gem. Since moving into Fort Greene almost, twelve years ago we have eaten at Walter's too many times to count. The staff is very attentive, kind and welcoming. I love the cozy atmosphere and, the food keeps us coming back. Without a reservation, the wait for a table can be long. That only speaks to the loyalty, good food, service that you receive when dining at Walter's. I love starting with the oysters. The burgers are delicious - juicy and so tasty. The fries are crispy, thin and addictive. One of favorites is their the Wagyu French Dip sandwich. Served with caramelized onions, a lovely horseradish cream, au jus with Gruyère cheese on a delicious baguette. The fried chicken is crispy and flavorful on the outside and tender in the inside. Just what really good fried chicken should be! Served with one of my all-time favor, comfort foods, garlic, mashed potatoes. We will be back again and again, that's a given. I hope you enjoy Walter's as much as I do!"
"Outstanding evening. The food and ambiance were impressive. Everything was excellent. Our server Josue did an excellent job. Really enjoyed our night."
"I don't have pics of everything I ate because we were too busy enjoying the food and conversation at the table. Service here is always A1. They are attentive w/o being annoying. The restaurant is cozy, it doesn't feel cramped. This was my second time here. What I love about the food at Estela is how playful every dish is. Every plate was cleaned, no crumbs. My friend even took the ricotta dumpling broth from bowl to her face, it was so good. Things I highly recommend are the beef tartar, the Endive granola, the arroz and ricotta dumpling! We also did the cheese board and chocolate cake . Tip: I always recommend making a reservation. They be booked and busy."
"So the ambiance here is very nice and corporate dinner-esque. But we didn't think the food was memorable or anything to write home about. We came for Restaurant Week so got to try a bunch of their hits. On the whole, things were bland. That includes the spinach, Mac & cheese, and the burger. Here's the standouts:- The biscuits they give you for free- The pickles that come on the side of the burger- The chili lobster soup"
"We had tickets for a NY Rangers playoff game and came for dinner. We walked in to find lifesize cutouts of Ranger players when we walked in! Their bar drinks were quite good, and their pub menu was extensive. We started with Middle Eastern hummus, and then the Penn6 burger and margherita pizza, which were very good. Their apple cobbler hit the spot to finish the meal. Overall, good quality food for a reasonable price (for NYC) and their servers were pleasant and helpful. Atmosphere was a little loud, but hey - it's a bar where everyone was going to the game afterwards! Definitely a good spot for pre-game meals, just two blocks from the Garden!"
"Espresso martinis were not as coffee fwd as I would've expected for a place with an espresso martini subcategory but not bad."
"This Greek influenced bar is easily a place you will be back for more! The house made pita chips were light and not hard like most pita chips are made. Soft enough to scoop from their house-made appetizers and not leave you with a chipped tooth haha.I was not thrilled with their Fried Pickle Chips. I think they tried too hard here. The batter was thick yet tasty. It held the pickle chip and its flavor well, but the chip was a thicker cut. This is no good. A thicker chip will hold the pickle juices and it will not fry well and get crispy. Therefore, when you take a bite, the hot juices will burn your mouth. The highlight for me was their Lamb Chops... sooooo good!!! Mouth watering, cut just right, meaty, flavorful, juicy. I am craving some right now. They were so good that I didn't even feel the need to dip them into the chimichuri sauce it came with."
"Beautiful, chic decor. A lot of natural light. Great, kind service. Good food. Would definitely return."
"Late post: During our recent trip, we stumbled upon a delightful culinary gem nestled in the heart of Times Square. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try. My choice was the House Specialty: Chicken Pot Pie. What a revelation! The dish arrived boasting a flawlessly golden, flaky puff pastry crust, concealing a treasure trove of tender chicken, vibrant vegetables, and a rich, savory gravy that was simply unforgettable. The flavors were perfectly balanced. It's a shame they only bake a limited number daily, as this is a dish truly worth savoring. Be warned, though - the portions are incredibly generous; come hungry! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable and delicious dining experience in the bustling atmosphere of Times Square."
"A hearty brunch with hip hop and a casual vibe. The two dishes we ordered were filling and delicious with their unique flavors. Boss lady bomb - Tater Tots, Scrambled Eggs, Avocado Mash, Coconut Curry (his preferred choice)Jerk chicken hash - tasty! My preferred choice. We had a few glasses of Prosecco. There is a bottomless bubbles, etc option for those looking for a boozy brunch."
"Came here with a few friends to catch up and the atmosphere was cozy on a rainy day! Staff were very nice and explained the menu items in detail and so we got the Brussels sprouts to start and each of us got burgers and a Ruben! Food was great and I would come back with my friends again"
"Lunch specials all day! We got the chicken breast + 2 sides + sauce + purbird bread. I had to get the purbird brownie too. The chicken is THE BEST here, can't go wrong. The garlic broccoli is pretty tasty as well. Their mashed potatoes aren't my favorite as they are pretty starchy and watery but the portion is generous. Definitely a consistent place for some delicious juicy roasted chicken."
"Are you looking for a great date night spot, GNO, or perhaps a place to hold a corporate event, with an amazing view of the Vessel? Look no further as Queensyard just might be the place for you. NYC is one of the cities we love to visit as they have places like Queensyard where you can dress up (sorry im from Hawaii where dressing up to some are wearing their good pair of flip flops or as we call them in Hawaii "slippers", nice shorts and t-shirt with no pukas aka holes). The decor is amazing as there is different sections from the hip bar and lounge area, great place for after work drinks to the sophisticated and elegant dining room. The food for brunch as well as for dinner (yes we came twice) was really good. Their cocktails were nice and while service was a little slow, (I don't like when my water glass is empty) but we enjoyed not being constantly interrupted as well. I'm looking forward to coming back here again when I fins myself in the Big Apple."
"Came here with a friends on Saturday around 4pm. We ordered the steak and eggs, fried chicken sandwich, sangria and a lavender mint lemonade. It took a really long time for our food and drinks to come. There was only one bartender but we waited over 20 mins just for the drinks alone, both of which were not good. However, the food more than made up for it, even though once again a long wait. My eggs were fluffy, soft and flavorful that I was raving about it as soon as I ate it. The steak was tender and the chimmichuri sauce went well with it. My friend really enjoyed her chicken sandwich as well. Overall, I would come back for brunch but I wouldn't get drinks from here."
"I'm not sure how I've never reviewed Marlow & Sons, as its been my longest-standing go-to cafe in South Williamsburg. Operated by the same owners as next-door Diner and She Wolf Bakery, Marlow & Sons transforms into a cocktail bar in the evening, but during the day serves eclectic sandwiches and pastries. My favorite option is the Spanish tortilla, which is generally hard to find in NYC, filled with chunks of potato that melt in your mouth and paired with a light mayo."
"Great food, nice ambiance, good service. Slider combo and clam dip were both delicious, as was the wine by the glass. Not the cheapest place in the world, but value is fair for NYC and it's nice enough for special occasions, yet not stuffy in any way. Recommended."
"Came in last week with my friends who were visiting from Florida... had to bring them to Nowon. Food is always ridiculous and the vibe is on point. I will say this time the service was extraordinary. Andrea, Sydney, and I think it was Lexy? These 3 CRUSHED it. There were 2 bday's and they had the place smackin. I'll forever be a customer here and continue to bring people here. Make sure you get a legendary burger and the chopped cheese app. Fueeeeeego. Special shout out to Andrea - she really made the experience great and gave incredible recommendations for everything."
"Breakfast all day, everyday...with drinks (dranks), located in Brooklyn Heights, on the corner of tree line streets on Clark St. and Henry St., within walking distance of the Brooklyn Promenade and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge never disappoints. I like several dishes however my absolute fav is Benedict's & Eggs Avocado which includes poached eggs, English muffin with hollandaise, I add smoked Salmon. My choice of sides for brunch includes Yukon gold fried potatoes always served hot with green peppers and satisfying portions. Prices are modest based on the portions served. Food arrives hot and quickly even during brunch which is their busiest time of day. Did I mention they serve breakfast like all day? Delivery, vegetarian menus, and kids menus are available."
