"As a fellow Korean from Los Angeles, I have to say, my girlfriend (who used to live in NYC) insisted we check out this place for their gopchang and daechang. She wasn't wrong--it did not disappoint. In fact, it was probably the best gopchang and daechang I've ever had! The ambiance is super cute, making it a perfect spot for casual drinks and great food. Highly recommend this place, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in NYC. Thank you, 곱창이아기!!"
"I'm having trouble brain dumping a review, so I'm gonna attempt to say this how cavemen would understand.Food good. Place very pretty. Decor whispers of understated opulence, and exudes a refined elegance that feels naturally exquisite, the kind of place one would choose to impress with a touch of sophistication. Hospitality good.A last minute spot was surprisingly easy to secure on a Saturday night, as the staff enthusiastically accommodated us to the larger back table that was both private and festively adorned. An amazing turn of events for an impromptu birthday celebration."

"Good food! Cozy atmosphere. Fresh sashimi! Friendly service!! :) ramen wasn't salty at all."
"We went to Jungsik for the first time last week for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant mastered the creation of classic Korean flavors with modern techniques. The ambience is sleek, simple but inviting and the service was excellent, very attentive. They definitely deserve their two Michelin stars. The meal started with a take on Banchan with several unique amuse bouches including wagyu beef tartare with truffle, gochujang amberjack, softball egg with seaweed, rice ball with squid and shrimp, and foie gras on top of Asian pear compote. Every item was excellent.Among the courses our favorite were the octopus and the galbi. The octopus was the best I have had anywhere, cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and almost melting in your mouth on the inside. It paired very well with the gochujang sauce. This was a very enjoyable experience and we recommend giving Jungsik a try if you ever consider it!"
"The Ssam is a ghost kitchen, so it took me a while to find it, as other restaurants also share the same space. But the owner was super helpful and friendly and sorted me out even though I was late for my pick-up!I ordered the tofu ssam, which was super fresh and healthy."
"I would consider this fast casual, and within that class I would rate it a 4.We got the bulgogi bowl and the soy garlic wings with fries. Oh yeah and a couple of lychee martinis. The bowl was good, but had I known they had regular japchae I would've preferred that. The bulgogi was a bit sweet for my personal taste, but it was otherwise seasoned well and cooked just right. And the proportion to other ingredients in the bowl was on the mark. The chicken and fries were good, but not so distinctively superior to any other Korean fried chicken in the city. Most notable was the service. We basically had 20 minutes to dine and drink because we were in a rush. We let the host and server know up front and they got us taken care of. And they were so sweet. And they gave us a bonus bowl of fresh popcorn. Thanks for the kind treatment!"
"Wanted to try something nearby since we were staying in the area and it was kinda rainy out.Decided to check this place out, I was able to make a reservation on open table without any issues.Service was great and we received our food fairly quickly. Ordered the bulgogi kimchi fries and the soondubu with beef. The fries were very good I liked how crispy they were. The soondubu was also tasty and on the mild side which was fine.Noise level can be challenging if there are a lot of people. We were seated in between two other tables of two and they were all just really involved in their conversations with a lot of intense emotions. Overall nice neighborhood spot."
"Cheap eat spot in Manhattan! Their cupbop ranges from $8.99 to $10.99, or $11.99 if you want to make it half and half. Students can enjoy extra 10% off. Although the rice bowl portion size is relatively small than a regular korean rice bowl, it's totally enough for me and my friend. They load up our bowls with meat, kimchi and salad so it is more filling than we thought. The fried dishes are also made to order. I can see myself coming back for affordable meals. *Bulgogi & Pork Katsu Cupbop*Spicy Pork & Popcorn Chicken Cupbop**We agreed their sweet and spicy sauce is really good, meaning you can't go wrong with their spicy food. The rice is seasoned with seaweed, mayo, and we can taste a hint of yuzu flavor from the salad dressing. Spicy pork and popcorn chicken are our favorite protein toppings. *Regular Chicken Mandu*Sweet and Spicy Chicken Mandu**WOW the deep fried mandu is so delicious! The regular one comes with a sweet soy sauce to dip into, while the sweet and spicy one is coated with a shiny glazed sauce, giving it a richer flavor profile. Each mandu is stuffed with chicken so it's very filling."
"I was craving some sort of soup and after reading the menu outside of their restaurant I decided to give Wonjo a shot. They have two floors for dining. The restaurant was pretty clean and organized. The workers worked swiftly and with great customer service. I had the pork kimchi stew and my cousin had the Gamja Tang ( pork ribs with potato stew). I like my pork kimchi stew, I wish it had more pork in it. I would rate 8 out of 10. My cousin was not impressed with his entree but he did like my pork kimchi stew as well. The entree came with little sides such as kimchi, beets, etc. I like that they have single or couples dining area where it's separates by a clear screen. They have restroom for use. Accepts cards or cash."
"Extraordinary! This establishment mastered every single detail of what a South Korean Barbecue can be.Service: truly impeccable and friendly.Food: Amazing. The quality of the meat is extraordinary.Space: It does feel like being in Seoul. In an area where it is difficult to choose what is the right K-Barbecue, this definitively stands as the place to go for!"
"Got a sushi burrito for only $5 from this tiny window in Manhattan! This spot is open Mon-Fri 11am-4pm, and is perfect for an on-the-go meal during lunch hours. It's actually more of a kimbap burrito (= kimburrito?!) & they sell a whole assortment of rolls at Yummy Stick. Depending on the roll you get, prices range from $5 to $13 here. The original $5 burrito is stuffed with crab, fried egg, and rice with seaweed wrapped around, made fresh-to-order. The shop owners are so sweet and the burrito is quick, convenient, and filling. Can you believe this is only $5? Where else in Manhattan would you get lunch for $5? (besides Chinatown :P)"
"Food is pretty good and the staff is nice! My favorite is the beef bulgogi and the spicy pork. I will be deducting a star though since I wanted to just try a small piece of meat so that I may like it next time. The manager straight up said no. I'm already spending $24 on the bowl. Maybe I'm a bit entitled, but I think that's just the manager being cheap.Overall though, I would recommend this place."

I am not a big fan of intestine. However, Gopchang story changed my perspective. I absolutely love their beef intestine after trying it, super fatty and did not have the typical smell from cooked beef organ. Their other dishes were top notch as well, fried pork belly and beef brisket soup. It's a bit on the pricer side, however.

Good ambience, a little quiet but the decorations were nice! As for the food, we ordered the sashimi + udon lunch special (udon instead of minisoba for no extra charge) and the seafood ramen. The food looks super nice and the portions are quite big, but I do think the quality could be better. The ramen noodles felt like they were from an instant pack, although the amount of seafood was generous, and the same thing with the quality could be said about the sashimi. Overall, I had a nice experience but think the food could be higher quality for the price.

Food: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5Chef/owner Jungsik Yim's "Jungsik" is a three-Michelin star Korean-influenced fine dining restaurant located on Harrison street in Tribeca between Hudson and Greenwich streets. This is a couple blocks north of where the late David Bouley's venerated restaurant once stood, where Chef Yim coincidentally worked once upon a time. The NYC version of Jungsik opened in 2011, two years after the launch of the Seoul location. It quickly reached two-star status a couple of years later. Some time passed, then it was disclosed in December 2024 that the restaurant was awarded its third star. This was well-deserved, and perhaps a fair bit overdue. It is NYC's first three-star since Eleven Madison Park in 2012, and the first three-star Korean restaurant in the U.S.It's dark inside, but it is a very elegant atmosphere. When they check your coat, they don't give you a ticket. They just remember who you are and what you brought. The bar has five seats. From my vantage at seat number five, I noticed the large Rolex clock on the wall of the kitchen inside. It reminded me of the one at Camphor in Los Angeles, a one-star restaurant in the Arts District. The service staff is dressed well and moves in harmony despite how busy they are. They also make you feel at ease. They accommodated my request to experience the tasting menu from the bar. When I booked on Tock, it gave me two options - main dining room or bar - but it did not disclose that the bar is generally only for a la carte ordering. They explained to me that I could sit at a table, but I declined, preferring my seat at the bar. They still were able to provide the tasting menu experience that I sought regardless. Thanks to them for that. The gender neutral bathrooms are very nice. Enough space to move around. The liquid soap was nice and pays a nod to Korea - it is the Joy hand wash from ELOREA, featuring the Jeju mandarin ingredient.Since I have cut down on alcohol consumption for a few years now, I like to order mocktails, or as they list it "temperance cocktails." The Yuja spritzer (Korean lemonade like drink but sparkling) was refreshing. I had two of these. The third piece of banchan was the egg. It was set on a bed of uncooked brown rice in order to hold it upright. Like "The Office" manager Michael Scott driving into a lake, I idiotically ate some of this rice, suspecting beforehand that I should do so, but I did anyway. It was crunchy and I was embarrassed. Very confusing. The foie tras tartlette as the fifth and last piece of banchan was delicious. Savory, but with Asian pear sweetness. The first course - striped jack - was excellent. It was liberally adorned with osetra caviar and featured white kimchi and a green citrus sauce. Fish bone broth. The fried octopus, which many rave about, has a crispy texture and is quite rich. It is a heavy tasting dish. Salty. The texture of the octopus was soft and not at all rubbery. Not sure how they achieved this. The Gochujang aioli was dense and rich. Not spicy at all, really. There were scallops with rice in small cast iron dish. The rice was very dark. I thought it was burnt, but it wasn't. The citrus emulsion pour was very nice. There was a high amount of spiciness on the tomato emulsion kimchi curry on the Arctic char. When I tasted it, I thought to myself "Now we're talking." Until now I felt the spice level was dialed back. Not here. The flavor of the coconut foam was subtle. Not overpowering. The wagyu Galbi was so soft and tender, as one of the staff named Leo mentioned to me that it had been marinated for a while. The radishes were nicely sweet, pickled in Korean pear juice. The yellowtail kimbap dish was innovative. The cigar-like structure reminded me of something that I would eat in a place like Alinea. The hallabong (what we know as Sumo Citrus) sorbet/granita palate cleanser was sweet and really refreshingThe ice cream dessert was quite good. The Jeju island statue appearance was playful, and the dish had density and richness.A very impressive meal from start to finish. It was well-thought out and considered. I said it was probably better than Daniel, which to this point was one of the nicest meals I've ever had.

Had been eyeing the Ssam as an option for a yummy healthy workday lunch/snack. The concept is vietnamese/korean rice paper wraps that are filled with a protein of choice and a bunch of fresh veggies and herbs. Note that this is strictly a pickup situation-- there is a window to ring and you provide your name and they bring out the food when it's ready. I knew from other photos that each ssam order comes with two wraps which are sliced down the middle but couldn't gauge how filling they would be. I was ordering for myself and one other person and ordered 3 ssams-- spicy pork, bulgogi, and marinated chicken. My personal favorite was probably the marinated chicken for a lighter protein option. The bulgogi was also very good and had more of an authentic korean profile with the perilla leaf inside. These were much more filling than expected. I had three pieces and was pretty stuffed so an order per person is definitely enough. Service here was great as well! The owner handed me my food and even provided a free drink in my order. I'll definitely be back soon!!

100% halal now! I was so excited to finally try this spot. The fried chicken is fried perfectly and the sauce is delicious! I believe we got the spicy soy garlic. It's also the first seafood boil I could eat (dietary restrictions including only certain seafoods) and it was yummy with the ramen! Their bulgogi bowl with the japchae was also great. The ambiance is a casual, sports bar kind of vibe. Service was okay and the staff was overall pretty nice. I love that there's so many locations. Perfect for a casual spot for halal korean fried chicken!

Before heading home, we wanted to get a quick bite to eat. I noticed Anytime Street, looked like they would offer some fast options. In particular I wanted to eat here because I was interested in the Kimbop. I had to wait in a very slow moving line to then be told they were out of the kimbop. This was a let down. They should post a sign, indicating they were sold out, to avoid wasting people's time. I had to quickly order something else, because we had to go home, leaving me no time to look for other options. So I got the chicken mandu. These are essentially fried dumplings. This is not something I would typically get at all. They were five of them for $7.50. These were very greasy, the sauce was flavorful. These are okay in a rush, but they aren't my favorite.

"Not sure how I haven't reviewed Miss Korea BBQ yet, but been several times - typical, solid KBBQ spot for sure. This latest visit was for a good friend from Jersey's birthday, party of 6 for 6pm on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Service was very attentive from the outset and fielded plenty of questions from the group with pose and helpfulness. We opted to share an order of steamed pork dumplings (yum), kimchi pancakes, and ordered the BBQ Combo B (beef, pork, chicken option - marinated short ribs, marinated bulgogi, spicy pork belly, and chicken), which came with the usual assortment of sides, along with steamed egg and organic tofu soup and up to 4 orders of rice - of all it was very good, and no one left hungry. For drinks, while I wish there was more of a cocktail menu, I settled on the Hakutsuru Draft Sake, which was pretty refreshing. All in all, you really can't go wrong with a trip to Miss Korea BBQ - consistently satisfying."
"Literally my new favorite Korean place in NYC. Staff is so nice, food is reasonably priced and delicious, and interior is well decorated. You can't go wrong with anything here. Must try the dessert!"
"I'd never heard of this place until my friend mentioned it, and it's located outside the busy K-Town area.Everything we tried was fantastic! Although it's on the pricier side, it's definitely worth it. My favorite was the red paste pajeon, which was unlike any pajeon I've had before. The bulgogi was slightly sweeter than usual, and the drinks were absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They assisted us with cooking and advised us not to rush our ordering since not everyone in our party had arrived yet. Overall, this might be the best customer service I've experienced in the area."
"Closed Mondays & TuesdaysReally nice place to celebrate a birthday. We came here with a group of 8 and got a karaoke room for two hours. Someone walked us into the room and explained all the rules even though only half the group had arrived. You can download an app to control which songs to put on next if you do not want to flip through the book they have there. You must ask for the wifi password before you can download the app. The man who kept coming in to refill our water and take empty plates out was very attentive. I had no problem with the service during the karaoke portion of the night. We got a passion fruit soju bowl (8/10- probably would not get this again), melona cocktail, high noons (which come in orders of 4, 8,10) , and fried mandu. Both the vegetable and meat mandu were good. I actually preferred the vegetable mandu more. The sauce it came with was also very good. At times, the bathroom like got long because there are only 2 bathrooms. We walked past the very cozy bar section and had to leave for an hour because the barbecue section was so fully booked. (There's a cute brewery across the street) Fast forward, one hour later, we were seated at our table. Everything is very open. One thing that surprised me was they only had ginger ale.For dinner, we got pajeon, which is a pancake with garlic and chives. Everyone enjoyed this and we eventually ordered a second one. For BBQ, we got galbi, pork belly, shrimp, and an order of mushroom. Surprisingly, the mushroom order came with a variety of mushrooms and was my favorite thing that night. Our waitress came by the table to see if we wanted anything before the kitchen closed. I also appreciated her telling us to be careful when she was switching the hot BBQ plates. The banchan was "bottomless", but if was hard to get a refill. We got a brownie sundae for my friend's birthday and it smelled very good. It was served in a hot plate to warm the brownie, so the wax actually melted too. We wanted to surprise my friend, but the waitress came by and asked if we wanted any desserts besides the surprise cake. Overall, it was a good place to celebrate a birthday, the food was good, but some things could be improved upon."
"Found this hidden gem in midtown a couple of blocks from Madison square garden. The food was so amazing. We had the cheese topoki, Parmesan fries, soy garlic wings and takoyaki. The drinks were good we had soju and beer. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The place was large so we had a lot of space for dining. We were seated right away. Lots of cute little signs all around"
"Typically when I go to these more expensive restaurants, I do a lot of research. But then for some reason this placed appealed to us enough on Google Maps to want to go and I'm so glad we did because it's now one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. We made a reservation beforehand on a weekday night and I think that is a bit of a must as there was quite a bit of people inside. We ordered 6 dishes for 2 people and it turned out to be a lot of food. I feel like 5 dishes could've been enough. I have noted them down based on my favorite (corn dumpling) to my least favorite (steak).- Corn Dumpling - Suprisingly this was my favorite thing of the night. I didn't really care for the sauce or the breading of the dumpling as I thought it was too thick, but the filling was to die for. It was a bit sweet with a lot of corn flavor. It really was just something I've never had before which is quite rare. I would eat the filling inside straight up.- Gumbo - I feel like this is a really weird thing to like but I actually loved their gumbo. The flavor profile was almost a combination of tomato soup, which I loved. On top of that, there were so many ingredients inside, especially crawfish. For a high-end restaurant, I was really happy that there was a dish that would both fill me up and also taste great.- Noodle - I don't know what they did to this noodle. In fact, these noodles don't even have any sort of protein inside it but I absolutely loved that they were super garlic-y but also had a kick of spice.- Berkshire Rib - This was my boyfriend's favorite dish of the night! The first bite was marvelous as not only were the ribs incredibly tender but the smoky flavor was present throughout the entire rib. I feel like a lot of BBQ restaurants claim that the flavor is in their meats but this one was probably the most I ever resonated with that statement. After a while of eating this, I felt that the rib was a bit much and wish there was some sort of pickle or whatnot to cut through the meaty-ness.- Lobster Roll - I actually really liked the bread of this dish, but I still like the more traditional lobster rolls more. I did enjoy the pickled celery a lot though!Steak - I thought this was actually one of the weaker dishes of the night. The steak's raw parts were a bit tough, and the mushroom sauce cracked a little, which was interesting.Overall, fantastic eat and I will be back to try more of their foods. Also, I really am excited now to try their sister restaurant, Thursday Kitchen, to see what is the difference."
"Summary: One of the best meals and meal experiences of my life (and I've been extraordinarily fortunate to dine well in many countries)Details: bom almost has a speakeasy vibe. You enter into the Oiji Mi bar area, and then walk through the dining area, to discover... an oasis. The room isn't that big but feels grand. The colorful marble countertop with mini cooking surfaces, the exposed kitchen, the lighting. It's a wow at the start and a wow throughout the meal. This a Michelin starred Korean restaurant, but it has obvious French and Cantonese influence. It's a fixed menu but they are sensitive to allergies/preferences. The experience starts with a display of the ingredients you'll later consume. We opened with an amuse bouche - toro and caviar with a seaweed shell. Excellent! Caviar was a theme, as it showed up in several dishes. We had about 14 courses, starting with seafood and proceeding to meat. Some of the standouts:* A custard with crab inside. Delicate and flavorful* Prawn, wagyu, and octopus fusion in an elegant bowl* Two pieces of wet-aged filet, one topped with uni and the other with caviar. Oh my!* Dry-aged rib eye served with a truffle puree and sweet potato. * And even though we weren't hungry, we upgraded to the wagyu. Much more subtle than the other meat courses. My food coma barely remembers the desserts, but I enjoyed the sorbet palate cleanser and a sort of apple pie ala mode. What I can't forget is the service. Outstanding. Everything perfectly presented. Waitstaff to attend to your every need but not obtrusive. Special shout out to Maxine.Speaking of shout out, Chris the master sommelier is simply remarkable. We hadn't signed up for the wine pairing because sometimes that's just an excuse to get rid of unwanted bottles. Not at bom. Chris asked us questions about our preferences, let us sample several options, and expertly selected pairings for us. This is a restaurant to celebrate with. It creates an incredible memory. I'm hoping for an excuse to go back."
"Meat quality is excellent; marinated cuts are deliciousService is attentive; servers cook the meat for you to perfectionTables are well spaced, great for large groupsAtmosphere is modern and cleanA little pricey compared to other KBBQ joints, but I guess that's what happens when your located right across from the Empire State Building"
"Tapas Style fusion cuisine!Definitely a must to get at least 2-3 dishes per person to feel satisfied with the meal. It's more so elevated simple dishes, but great set of options.I highly recommend the shrimp toast and the bibimbap. Service of the food is very quick as well, sake shot on the house is also given."
"Came here with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary. We were intrigued by the menu and decided to try the 5-course Prix-Fixe menu (which was $150pp, amazing). We were able to choose four out of five of the plates, as the first course was going to be all of the three choices. We loved every taste, the attention to details, the decor in the place, and the drinks. Services was fast and attentive, they were ready to answer every question. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the price of bottled water ($14??) Overall I would go back to try the other dishes!"
"The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the building. The floor plan is very open and spacious. We were seated immediately, and found the service was excellent. But the food was the shining star! Excellent quality, flavor and Allround delicious. If you love authentic Korean Food, please check this place out."
"We went to an event at 8282. The inside is not too small, not too large. We had a few cocktails. Gochujang Margarita and Yuzu Matcha Magic. Gochujang Margarita was not as spicy as I thought it would be. Quite tasty! The Matcha one had such distinctive green color, had a nice sweetness to it, but not too much. I really enjoyed this drink. Yuja Peach Tequila Perilla. This one was tasty too, a bit more fruity but without being too sweet. We had a few dishes and a dessert. Tomato with Crab had a great dashi flavor, reminded me of a Japanese dish. The bonito flakes and rich earthy flavor was so amazing and refreshing. A great starter dish.A canape with seaweed butter was like a steamed bun. The butter didn't taste much like seaweed, but had a nice bit of salty flavor to it. Mushroom Party was perfect for a mushroom lover. Even if you are not a big fan, this dish might make you into a mushroom lover. It was so good!Grilled Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection, flakey and moist. Sauce had a nice kick to it, and kimchi was great too, adding extra texture and flavor. But, sea bass was great on its own without any sauce too. Loved every bite!Spicy Pork Collar was another great dish! The pork collar was cooked just right so that it is not chewy, nor too tough. Packed with flavor and loved the crunch from the chimichurri. Delicious!Dessert was Milk Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream, and Raspberry Sauce. It was sweet with a nice not crunch on the exterior. The custard inside was thick rather than velvety. It was a nice dessert, but since all the savory dishes were so great, I felt like this dessert was not at the same level. We enjoyed all the drinks and the food. The fish was my favorite. Definitely recommend this spot."
"I really enjoyed this place. The Korean BBQ ribs were phenomenal--super tender and flavorful. The ramen was great and really hit the spot. The staff were all super friendly and made us feel at home. Overall, everything was solid. Definitely recommend!"
"Yum!! The perfect place for late night small bites and some drinks (we had soju). The daenjang foie gras mousse was the highlight and they gave quite a lot of it so we ordered an extra side of toast! This helped with how the dishes are a bit on the smaller size in terms of portions."
"I've walked by this place several times and was happy that we spontaneously decided to try this one random Saturday evening. We were surprised that happy hour was available for a Saturday. I got to try the Korean beer. It tasted like an even lighter Heineken. We split some happy hour cheeses and meats as well as chicken wings. They were ok. Not something that would draw me back.We then got some things off the happy hour menu. The server was right. The broccolini was bomb! I would come back here again for it even if it's not on the happy hour menu during happy hour so I can pair it with the Korean beer. We also shared the japchae, which was also average."
"Fun little dive bar located on Koreatown. Located on the 4th floor, you entered this energetic, grungy bar. Great drink deals and bunch of point tables. Note you need to get 2 pitchers of beer/seltzer to play pong. Great place for a pre/post game. Step by if you're in the area or if you're waiting for reservations. Great staff as well."
"I was in the area and was in the mood for Korean fried chicken. I pre-ordered on Yelp for pickup. I ordered the Soy garlic wings and they were delicious and crispy. They were a little bit on the salty side but I am somewhat sensitive to salt. They also include picked radish on the side. The service was super friendly and welcoming. There are several tables and seats if you want to sit inside as well as some outdoor seating if the weather is nice. I will definitely be back to try the other items."
"We had a great experience from start to finish! The staff were very attentive and on top of things, whether that's refilling our cups or explaining the different cuts of beef and the banchon. We had the butcher's feast which came with four cuts of beef: American Wagyu, a dry aged steak, hanger steak, an absolutely amazing marinated galbi! All were cooked perfectly. The banchon is unlimited I believe and it all tasted fresh and clean. For the amount of food you get, including a little soft serve ice cream with caramel soy sauce topping at the end, it seemed like decent value. Overall I would recommend for beef lovers and those who enjoy or want to try Korean barbecue/ food."
"Located in Midtown Manhattan along 35th street. Barn Joi 35 is the place to be if you love Korean food and pair it with your favorite drinks. They have an intensive drink list - cocktails, soju. Upon entering the restaurant, you're greeted by the hostess and seated to your table. The ambiance is cool and chill, perfect for group dinners, family night out and date nights. The drinks! I love love it!!Try the Midtown Forsynthia or better get the four soju taster combo. Also recommend the Matcha, such a refreshing drink with hint of pineapple and not so sweet. We tried some of their appetizers which I truly recommend. The soft shell crispy crab, the soy garlic wings, the calanari with nuts and the fried dumplings! For main dishes- we tried the bulgogi hot bowl and new york strip entree. Absolutely delicious. And presentation was excellent! Overall, the experience was incredible. Such a cool spot to have a great time."
"A friend of mine and I stopped into Moono on a Sunday for the "Social Hour." It runs form 5pm to 7pm Sundays through Thursday only at the bar. The menu is limited but has a few drink options (wine, beer, sake, and cocktails) and 3 bites. I had two different cocktails (Omija Spritz and Oksusu). Both were good and different. The Omija was lighter and more refreshing, while the Oksusu was alcohol forward with a unique corn flavor. Foodwise, we opted for the Bar Platter, which included jerky, pancake, and fried chicken. The bites were excellent and hit the spot for an early Sunday evening. Ambiance is nice. The bar was quiet the night we went, so we enjoyed a nice conversation. The decor is cool with a beautiful designed bar. Service was good too. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. My only knock is that for the price the social hour didn't seem overly worth it. I don't know that the food or drinks were heavily discounted enough to feel like we were getting a "deal." Outside of that, I would definitely stop back in to enjoy a good cocktail or try their dinner service."
"WOW this Korean BBQ experience did not disappoint! I came here earlier this month with 3 other people. We booked a reservation and were seated promptly with the banchan already set up before we were seated - loved that! We ordered the large portion of the Ahgassi Combo (with soft tofu soup), fried dumplings, and cold buckwheat noodles and shared everything between the 4 of us. My highlight was the marinated short rib! I also ordered a Yuzu iced tea - flavorful but REALLY sweet. The staff was amazing and very diligent about refilling our banchans and water. The vents are adjustable over the grill so that the restaurant doesn't smell at all. I also love that they change out the kind of grill based on the kind of meat they're cooking for you!I'd totally come back here one day! Highly recommend it :)"
"Gangnam is my new favorite hotpot restaurant! I went with a friend for the AYCE lunch buffet special for $20 a few weeks after it opened. It was pretty astonishing how much was included--besides the hotpot, they offered appetizers like sushi, kimchi, shrimp tempura, and lots of other pickled and fried items. For dessert, there was ice cream, fried pumpkin cakes, fried coconut balls, and fresh fruit (watermelon, melon, honeydew), among others. In addition to all that, they had a case of canned and bottled drinks like Wang Lao Ji, soda, and soy milk. Was the prepared appetizers and desserts the best I'd ever had? No. Was the cut fruit ripe? No. But still decent and can't complain based on the price. The hotpot itself was very good. The ingredients were fresh and abundant. There are some items that are only available for dinner, but the main meat, seafood, tofu, vegetables, dumplings, and noodles are all there. I really liked the clean, calm, and pleasantly decorated interior with the booth seating. The staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, definitely a spot to return to with other family members in the future. They do have a discounted price available for kids."
"12/21/23: My new go to spot for lunch when in the office.Good deal for the money. One of the options in a Korean BBQ food court. Service pretty quick, place and pay for order. Receive buzzer which will buzz when meal ready for pickup.I always get the spicy chicken with carrots and broccoli. Very spicy, and seasoned well to taste. Includes white rice a type of Asian Cole slaw and soup.Has yet to disappoint."
