"This is my spot! When you're in the mood for a Irish pub close to Penn Station and Port Authority, this is your place! We went on a Friday night when they have live music. We had a few snacks as well (mozzarella sticks and fries) which hit the spot late night. It's a classic Irish pub with Guinness and Jameson of course! Staff are friendly and even gave us a free shot! Def recommend checking out this spot especially on a Friday night!"
"The pub is rather new here. We arrived about 6:30PM. We were greeted when we walked in, and we're directly seated. Our server came to our table and asked for our drink order. He was very disinterested. It took a few minutes for our draft Guinness to arrive. And the server left without saying a word. He later came back and ask for our dinner order. My wife asked for the Shepherds Pie, and I the Bacon Spinach salad. Again the server left without another word or question. The place was extremely loud with the recorded music very loud. All the patrons were forced to shout to communicate!! And nothing at all suggested an Irish pub!! Our food came again without a word. But the food was delicious!! The pie was great! Very tasteful and perfectly seasoned. The salad was huge and so much bacon. Truly fantastic!!All and all it was good, not not at all like an Irish pub!"

"Great Irish pub option in Midtown. I'm not currently drinking but my gingerales were very reasonably priced lol. Truffle fries were excellent, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, hard to pull off! And the truffle taste wasn't overpowering. At $12 they're steep, but it's Midtown post COVID and everyone is stretched right now, I understand. I think my friends Blue Moon was $8. Service at the bar was friendly and fast. After work crowd on a Wednesday seemed mainly men in their 30s/40's and some women in the same age range. I even saw some kids head towards the back with their parents for dinner, common in Irish pubs. Music was classic/hard rock pre-90's which I loved, played at a reasonable volume. Conversation was easy to have. At 6 it wasn't overcrowded (seats for everyone), by 9 the crowds had thinned out considerably, speaking more to the lack of Midtown commuters than anything else I think. Chill place for afterwork hangs, would recommend."
"Connolly's opened up a second location! I've walked past this location many times as it is located close to the LIRR at Grand Central.Service was quick and food was out within 15 minutes. They had typical Irish dishes as well as American entrees (salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, etc.). I ordered their Shepherd's Pie and thought it was pretty solid. I liked that it came with a potato chip on top!Portions are good for lunch. They have plenty of indoor seating and the upstairs would be ideal for groups or events."
"Super good prices and great ambiance! Music is varied so it's good for everyone. The shepherds pie was delicious. We also got cosmos and beer. They have a good variety of cocktails and beers as well as a huge food menu. The bartenders are friendly and fast to serve. Highly recommend this place! Coming back for sure"
"Food was good. Service was okay. Prices are moderate. Drinks were light and refreshing. Pretty close to certain Broadway shows. Server was friendly. Lobster ravioli was delicious, the sauce was amazing."
"This place looks like it has been around for generations - but it's new! The bar is cozy and the rooftop is is an oasis above the city streets. The staff is marvelous and the food and drinks are spot on."
"I can't tell you how many times I'll be in the area late at night just wanting a quick drink before catching the train. Not too rowdy. Bartenders are attentive. People don't really bother you. Great spot. Now I'll be stopping by more regularly."
"My friend and I came here for dinner. The interior looked really cool with nice, interesting decor. It was pretty spacious and had a chill vibe. I ordered the Double Cut Pork Chop, which was served with turnip purée, carrots, and apple bourbon glaze. That Pork Chop was huge, as well as thick. It was delightfully tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The carrots were cooked well, and the glaze was tasty, especially with the addition of apples. I wasn't a fan of the turnip puree, which had sort of an earthy taste. I would have preferred Truffle and Parmesan Fries. My friend and I shared the Molten Chocolate Cake with pistachio ice cream. This was quite yummy, but would have liked a bit more of a gooey chocolate filling. The chocolate cake was rich, sweet, while the ice cream was wonderfully nutty, creamy, and smooth.Service was pretty good. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the Midtown area. I would return to try the Pan Roasted Cod Fish with lobster mashed potatoes."
"Nice casual pub, Great staffFood was very good,Staff from Molly Enjoyed my visit"

Came by for some quick drinks, would definitely return for the service alone. Our server was cracking us up with her quick witted responses, and very attentive. Pub was clean and just a great spot for a no frills, good drinks, and good vibes.

This is a cute pub located right in the theater district. I came for dinner right before Redwood and it was great. There's live music and the singer was lovely. I got the fried chicken sandwich which came with fries and a pickle. The fries were great and the sandwich was good, but I though the chicken was a tad dry. Service was good although it did take a while for us to get the check despite asking a few times, I guess they were busy that night. Also, if you show the waiter your Broadway ticket you get a small discount!

The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Food was great - got the 1/2 pound Angus burger (that my friend has been raving about since the night before) and Fish&Chips. Large portions, couldn't finish the latter. Also, do get the Lobster cream puffs which come on a bed of extremely delicious sauce(must be aioli?).Good whiskey collection. Have never been a whiskey fan but this place changed me. Overall, great place with nice staff, good food and great drinks

This place was packed but our waitress was nice and patient. I haven't been in this restaurant. Since the location is around Times Square, it's filled with tourists. I was hungry so the fish and chips that I orders hit the spot. I also ordered the hot toddy and it was okay. Not the best hot toddy that I have had. I would only recommend this place if you like crowds or if you want Irish food.

What a great hidden jem! We were greeted by Dilip who escorted us to our seats. While Robby, an expert mixologist, made one of the best Long Island's we have had in a long time. Great place to stop by before or after a show. Located next to the Imperial Theatre and 1 block off time square

Without a doubt, one of my favorite places to stop at for food and drink before I go catch a game at the garden. There's plenty of parking at the garages up and down the street and with enough time you might be able to find an off street parking spot. You just have to be patient and circle the. Service is great here but some of the familiar faces behind the bar have been since moved on, but the new folks I have just picked up and kept moving forward. Really clean, spot, good music, and plenty of sports on the TVs if you want to catch some soccer or anything else that's going on. Definitely appreciate the food here, it's not a massive menu but what they do they do it well. Not super greasy but just hits the spot. Can't go wrong with the burgers here or even calamari.

"I was able to drop in here just for a quick drink. I was able to sit at the bar area. I ordered a whiskey sour and it was tasty. Place wasn't packed so everything ran smoothly and didn't have to wait for my drink."
"I cannot comment on the drinks. I cannot really comment on the ambiance. What I can comment on is the service and our meal that afternoon and the service. Their chili stuffed potato skin was filling, comforting, and so good! It's a meal in itself, but it served as our appetizer. I don't see it on the menu anymore. I ordered their Harp Beer Battered Fish and Chips while he ordered the Guiness Grilled Rib Steak. Their fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The fish wasn't greasy. They were huge pieces of fish fried perfectly. It paired so well w/ the coleslaw and the tanginess from the tartar sauce. The leftovers did create a bit of grease, but it was to be expected. I still enjoyed it that night! I was thirsty and must have had 4 Diet Coke refills. Our server was quick and checked on us a few times. I really appreciate the fact that I did not have to ask for a refill of my soda. I wasn't so sure about the steak, but he finished it and said it was good. Mmmm, I'm thinking about the fish and chips and potato skins right now!"
"At last, The Lonesome Club is here to fill the food desert between Hamilton's and Le Paddock on one side and Krupa Grocery and Double Windsor on the other. Having completely transformed the Rhythm and Booze space, this is now a high-end, Irish-inflected gastropub with a fairly pricey menu. But the warmth and conviviality of the space, and the staff, should (if there is any justice in the world) keeps the crowds coming back.My bangers and mash were (was?) well-seasoned and complimented with shrooms and candied apples. My companion enjoyed his fisherman's pie, made with ham hocks, cod, and veggies. The wine menu is extensive, but I opted for a delicious Dark Hollow chocolate stout from West Kill Brewing. For dessert, we split the Guinness chocolate cake, which was a little dry but still tasty.Extra points for our awesome server, Nora, with whom we vibed on a variety of subjects, and for the celebrity at the bar."
"Stumbled in here in the midddle of a Nor'easter. I wasn't headed here, but the weather seriously threw a wrench into what I thought was my well thought out plans. But I'm so glad I did.Upon entering this Irish bar, I was met by the barkeep, Tommy who immediately welcomed me and made me feel at home. This is truly a neighborhood bar, because everyone who came in, Tommy knew their name and maybe just as importantly, what they drink. The fish and chips were good. The fish was maybe a tad bit over breaded, but definitely hot and fresh. But what really made the bar was the warm feeling you got from that place. The cozy, at home aura. The feeling that Tommy gave you as if you were old friends. He was a genuine gentleman. This is a true neighborhood bar."
"Drinks were immediate, food was immediate, it was all delicious. I am so happy to have found this place. It is the Christmas season so I expected delays and long waits, but this was outstanding. The mini crab cakes were terrific and soft, full of flavor. The onion soup was top notch.Servers were great. I loved the music. Bathrooms were 3 single stalled rooms, and clean. Love this place."
"I stopped by here for a beer last night with my date we both had two bud lights and the service was attentive. It wasn't a busy bar so I was able to have a conversation with my date. Pub experience 10/10"
"This is a nice neighborhood spot that seems to get pretty crowded after work. They have a weekday happy hour from 5-7 for $5 on bud light and Shocktop, $10 wines and other stuff. We came in on a Sunday evening and it was pretty quiet. Kind of charming actually because of the Victorian decor. They had the NFL football game on but it definitely was not the sports bar crowd at the time. Food isn't bad. Buffalo cauliflower had too much breading on it and tasted more like a hush puppy than the cauliflower, which was what we craved. I liked their special of the day, the penne alla vodka with fried chicken. Real good vodka sauce.I'll need to come back to try their classic dishes next time."
"Loved the vibe at Sundays Well and we came on a Sunday! The drinks were amazing and delicious! The French sticks toast and breakfast burrito was tasty. But we loved the crispy potatoes! It was a great brunch spot and so glad we were able to grab some food here! Highly recommend!"
"The food was amazing! My sis and I shared the calamari and mozzarella sticks and both we're great! I had the Caesar salad with chicken and my sister had the Mushroom Swiss burger with fries and everything was great! The second time we visited I got the messy burger (with my own substitutions) and she got the same burger because she enjoyed it so much! The service and ambiance was amazing; everyone was nice and accommodating. I'm a tourist of NYC but I'm coming back in April and they will see me!"
"This is your standard multi-level Irish pub that you'll see in midtown/hells kitchen. We stopped in to grab a pre-show bite and to watch a soccer match. We sat on the ground level and ordered a few beers and some plates. The chicken curry with rice was pretty decent. Rice was a touch undercooked but the curry flavor was excellent, and I appreciated the generous portion, ample veggies and the fries on top. The flatbread special with salami was just ok. Not a flabread, but a more doughy mini pizza that reminded me of frozen pies from the grocery. Beer was good and the service was friendly and excellent. I'd say it's a decent choice for a casual stop for the midtown/times square area.Got bit up by mozzies while there, though I suppose it wasn't their fault."
"After wandering around the different markets, this was a cool place to sneak into where we were able to get fast service and great food. As tourist who have been taking pictures all day, iPhone batteries were quickly dwindling, and the staff was able to take them in charge for us which I thought was amazing. We got the spinach and artichoke dip, pizzas holiday cocktails, and some fries. This was our first time here at this restaurant the waiter definitely gave us great suggestions on drinks to get which was perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the city and wants good food that is decently priced also being in the midst of all the action probably one of the best meals I had here."
"Nice place to have drinks near Madison Square Garden. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Good selection of liquid treats."
"We contacted Frank about a private birthday party. He was so friendly and accommodating. He gave us the second floor bar which was perfect for our gathering. Warm and intimate without being too small. And there were tables available in case anyone wanted to eat there. Our bartender, Keira, was friendly, fun and efficient. The food was great, came quickly and tasted delicious. I am so happy to have found McGee's and look forward to the next time we're there. The bar was perfect. Thank you all!"
"I have only been to Cassidy's once and it was for late night karaoke after a wedding. And for that purpose it was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was open late, which was a godsend. I am fairly certain I had some delicious nachos. It's a little hazy to be honest. I know I was happy with my food for sure, as was the rest of my group. The tap and bottle selection had enough beers to satisfy all. More importantly, our bartender was serving quickly. It was easy to order at the bar and then wander back to the tables we were using at the back of the bar. The karaoke was set up back there. And yes it turns out that Guinness pairs well with karaoke. We had a fantastic time. I would absolutely come back. Thanks for the memorable night!"
"This is an old standby for a pre theater meal with traditional Irish fare and a small menu to meet most tastes. My highlight was the Mac and cheese, which is creamy and cheesy. I also got the truffle parm fries, which had a perfect truffle and cheesy flavor but they were pretty limp and crispy. Service was fine but not anything super special. However, if you are looking for a spot that is quieter, the top floor is a great place to grab a quicker bite."
