"Came here for an early dinner. The crowd picks up around 6:30. You wouldn't find a seat at the bar. There are long bench for large groups. As we were seated and looking at the menu, I overheard the server messed up the drink order for the table next to ours. I joked with my friend, I hope it doesn't happen to us. It did happened to us. I ordered shrimp pasta but got sautéed shrimp instead. They brought the shrimp back and told me it's going to a wait for the shrimp pasta. The restaurant was only at 40% occupancy and they messed up the orders. The entree Mama' chicken came before the zucchini chips. We did enjoy the appetizer. The wait for the shrimp pasta was at least 15 minutes. Which we finished the appetizer. I asked my friend to start on her entree. The Mama' chicken was getting cold. Nobody came over to check on us or refill water. The server did not removed the wrong order from the bill. It took another 10 minutes to get the correct bill since the restaurant was starting to fill up."
"I went to this restaurant for some lunch and a couple of cocktails. When I arrived, I had to circle the block a few times to find parking. I found parking about 10 minutes away. I walked into a cute restaurant. I was sat by the manager and Luis was my server, and he was good. I ordered from the lunch menu, the pumpkin gnocchi, and the Nashville chicken sandwich. For my cocktails, I got the espresso martini, which was really good, and the lemon drop martini, which was ok. The food came out, and I enjoyed the gnocchi. It was different as far as flavor but good. The Nashville chicken sandwich was good, just a little sticky. I definitely had a good experience!"

"The Vermintino was very unique. Strong on the lemon zest/peel flavor. Went perfectly with the linguine/vongole. Great fried artichokes, too. The lemon aioli was excellent. Americano was also perfect.Third visit, and the best. Andrew is one of the best bartenders I've met as a patron or as a worker in the industry. He was very accommodating and suggestive for the best experience possible. My meal was quick, efficient, correct, and pleasurable. I am looking forward to my next visit here."
"The Loring place served as the perfect dinner spot for guests of all tastes. They had something on the menu for all tastes and you can just tell the quality and source of the food was high. The ambience was great as well and served as the perfect date spot or just an evening of catching up with friends. You can't go wrong with any of their pizzas and the shaved Brussels were delicious. Definitely will be going back to try more menu items next time I'm back in the city."
"Osteria al Doge is one of my favorite NYC restaurants. It has two floors, very nice decor, exceptional service, and.....of course..... a-m-a-z-i-n-g food. Our two entrees were incredible.....Ravioli di Ricotta e Spinaci (homemade ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, in a butter sage sauce) was so soft, flavorful, and the remaining butter sage sauce was elegantly sponged up with the complimentary buttery bread. The Pollo al Limone (marinated chicken breast with sautéed zucchini and parsley roasted potatoes in a lemon sauce) came with two well seasoned pieces of chicken and I enjoyed how they cut up the zucchini into thin strips, which made it easier to eat. For dessert, we shared the Tortino al Cioccolato (gluten free chocolate cake with moist melting heart and Tahitian vanilla gelato). This was one of the best desserts I've ever had. The cake was M.O.I.S.T., the edges had the ideal crunchiness, and the gelato complemented each bite to complete enjoyment. Please, TRY IT!The Double Espresso, with a side of milk, was the perfect cap to this memorable meal. I cannot recommend Osteria al Doge enough. Come in, in order to be treated like royalty and enjoy a fine meal. Oh, don't forget to make reservations."
"I came back to Laser Wolf for my second visit, this time for lunch, and it did not disappoint. The food was just as delicious as I remembered. The Salatim selection was smaller compared to dinner, but there was still a great variety, and everything was fresh and flavorful. I also added dessert this time, and it was so good -- definitely a sweet way to end the meal. The view of Manhattan from the enclosed rooftop is stunning, and despite being outside, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and warm it was. Perfect spot to enjoy your meal without freezing!Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food with an unbeatable view. Can't wait for my next visit!"
"By far, the absolute best Chinese food we've ever had. If you're a fan of braised pork and eggplant with a side of rice and mapo tofu, you literally won't find a place that serves it better than Cheli. All the food here is a 10 out of 10 and literally nothing will disappoint. Service is also great, just make sure to get a reservation before you go or the wait is going to be pretty long. It's a medium sized space but the decor is awesome. It's just an overall great spot for a date night and you'll leave absolutely stuffed."
"On a Saturday night, we were caught in a nasty traffic snarl on 10th Ave and was an hour late for our 6:30 reservation. One of our party had made it there on time and the gracious host was very nice and sat him at a table a 1/2 hour before we arrived. Luckily, it wasn't extremely busy, just your normal Saturday night. Donburiya is very conveniently located just north of the theater district and just 3 blocks from Carnegie Hall, so is perfect for pre-theater dinner or drinks. It's a very cozy izakaya just a few steps down from street level. If the wait for a table is long, you can opt for a couple of seats at the bar. When we finally arrived, it took us a few minutes to absorb and digest the entirety of the large menu. We started with the Shio cabbage salad and a whole grilled squid. For entrees, my son went with the Sukiyaki Don Set with sliced beef and poached egg & tofu over rice and a miso soup. His friend got the Ishiyaki Beef Curry Udon, which came in a super-hot stone bowl with the broth violently boiling. You can't touch that for a good 10 minutes for it to cool down. My wife went with the Goya Champie, Bitter Melon & Pork topped with a big omelet. For me, it was the Tonkatsu Teppan Yaki Set with a little of everything including a romaine salad topped with potato salad, miso soup, oshinko, rice bowl and Kurobuta pork katsu. The pork cutlet was panko coated, fried to crispy perfection and served over raw cabbage that cooked in the hot mini cast iron skillet right on the table. After I finished and they took away the tray, the table was still hot underneath. We finished in plenty of time for curtain call at Carnegie Hall. I can't wait to come back to relax with a cold Sapporo draft and a non-stop order of fried oysters and karaage."
"Thai restaurants really knows how to put their dishes together and Charoen Krung Thai might have just won with their presentations! I mean..just look at everything! Don't get me wrong, it's tasted just as good but For drinks we got the yok manii $18 and chor muang $18. Yok manii was my favorite! Even though i knew, I was still surprised by the spicy kick but it a good way! Appetizers were summer rolls $13 and golden puff $10. Unfortunately I couldn't try the summer rolls because it had pork but my friend really liked it. I did however try the sauce that came with it and my god..i need a bucket of that to take home! seriously! As for the entree, there were soooo many options to choose from but we had to opt in for signature dishes. We had the pad-char red snapper $32 and the royal pad thai $26. Red snapper had a tiny kick which was cute but i loved it over more over the pad thai. Speaking of which i was surprised by the amount of shrimp it came with along with 3 jumbo shrimp, most places are very cheap with it!Finished the meal off with a dessert! I was looking forward to the shaved ice but unfortunately all sold out but that's okay because i had ice cream thai style $15. When corn came out the desserts, i didn't know what to expect but wow it paired well with the ice cream..how..idk but i liked it hehe!Nonetheless, i liked the vibe and decor inside! I was by the bartender and he was super nice and very attentive! I would go back to try other things!"
"I always come here when I'm staying at Westin Grand Central or Times Square. Bread service is included and I ask for garlic and the always accommodate with a smile. For food, I've had carpaccio, pizza and branzino, all good, but IMHO, if there's one thing you have to order, it's the lasagna. It's a spinach Pasta and meat sauce is perfect to cheese ratio. I've ordered the last 5 trips. I might have it again for lunch tomorrow.I might get again for lunch tomorrow, it's that good."
"I met an old colleague here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Ramen is always touch and go but this place hit the spot for quality and flavor factor!I ordered the combo 1 ( ramen chicken soup , bao and machta pudding) for $25. The ramen dish was super flavorful and for an extra $1 they added spicy noodles which wasn't that spicy actually. I had the chicken and the soup was delicious - I prefer it to be more temperature hot but it was hot enough. Prior to that I had the beef bao roll which was tasty and a great appetizer!Unfortunately I was t crazy about the dessert and pretty much left it alone I'd come back and order the popcorn chicken as well as a different type of ramen - Overall I was happy with the meal and the service"
"This is my favorite pizza place to stop by after a nice walk on The Highline. The pizza is very fresh and delicious. Pesto pizza is my favorite! The Insalta Mista is also really good. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the food is prepared quickly which is great. The staff is very friendly. The kids pizzas are shaped in either a bunny or heart shaped, which my kids always enjoy. They also like going for the peach iced teas."

A cozy, unique, yet tasty Greek restaurant tucked away in Chinatown of NYC. Reasonably priced, with a large quantity of food. The food itself was delicious! Good service, food was brought to us quickly as it was ready so things came out hot. Would recommend the meat platter but also mixing and matching their small plates! 10/10 would go back!

Had a great group meal at Market Table! The seasonal menu had a number of hearty dishes fit for autumn -- we tried the grilled swordfish, the pan crisped half chicken, and the pork loin. Each was unique and thoughtfully prepared. The menu did give a "try hard" vibe. No one dish blew me away, but the meat and fish were all cooked to the right temperature, and flavors were good overall. The service was also excellent, with servers who were thoughtful about checking in periodically, going above and beyond to accommodate a tree nut allergy for one person in our group.Solid option if you're looking for upscale American fare in West Village!

Cute spot in the West Village! 3 out of the 4 of us got the Bolognese and it was fantastic! The cacio e Pepe was decent. Octopus was delicious!! The focaccia with prosciutto was good as well. And honestly the free bread and oil was outstanding!Service was fantastic and would definitely recommend!

Another great visit to Loring Place for a family dinner! I want to express my appreciation for this excellent restaurant, perfect for any occasion, whether it's a family gathering or a business meeting. This time, we tried the chicory salad (a winter special), which was an amazing combination of bitter greens and sweet orange flavors. The broccoli salad featured tender grilled broccoli with radishes--an intriguing addition topped with a delightful dressing. The young beets salad was also very good. Additionally, we were treated to complimentary dishes from the chef, including rich hummus, an apple and celery root salad, and incredibly tasty butternut fries ( !) --yum!For our main courses, we ordered a burger and short ribs, both cooked to perfection. It was an excellent experience overall, providing great value for the money spent! I must emphasize again that the portions are very generous. With good food, ample portions, a calming atmosphere, and friendly staff, I give this place is my favourite:)

We came at 9:45pm on a Wednesday night after a show. There were maybe 3 other tables eating dinner, we had the whole place to ourselves. I was worried that after a long shift, the waitstaff would be grouchy and rush us along, not even close. They were welcoming and very attentive. The photos don't do our dinners justice. I had the spinach and ricotta ravioli. The butter sage sauce was wonderful. Not too salty and not oily, just perfectly balanced. The raviolis were tender and filled with delicious spinach filling. You get a basket of bread with you meal which I used to sop up any butter sauce leftover. My date had the Paccheri (wide ziti) with seafood. It had a really amazing tomato-based sauce. I mean this sauce was so good I was wishing it was a stand alone soup dish! Again the bread on the table came in handy. Our waiter, Jamie, didn't miss a beat filling glasses and getting drink orders. We had the lemon tart which wasn't my fave even though it had a cool crème brûlée topping. I won't hold it against them. I'd like to try the tiramisu or the flourless chocolate lava cake next time. And there will be a next time!

Wow might have found myself another favorite elevated Chinese food restaurant! The ambiance is nice - the interior decoration makes you feel like you got transported back to ancient China. I've been watching too much Chinese historical drama lately. Staff were friendly and food is good! I can't remember the names of the dishes but we got a variety of tofu, beef, fish, shrimp, and chicken. There isn't a dish that I didn't like. Every meal comes with a compliment pickled vegetable and a pot of tea. Random, but I am also obsessed with the plum candy they have by the check in counter.

Great choice for fans of lunch sets, the service is quick and helpful. The food is delicious and largely portioned, perfect for a place specializing in donburi. Tea is served as a you sit down and continues through the meal. They also have monthky specials for fans of seasonal Japanese food.

"We came here yesterday after our matinee - and it was honestly great! The three of us ordered appetizers, drinks, entrees, and dessert. French onion soup was perfect. My mussels and fries - were perfection. They were perfectly cooked, and not even one grain of sand in the entire pot. The duck and the lamb entrees were both great - I was told. Creme brulee and chocolate mousse were both very good. The service, for the most part, was good. I am not giving them 5 stars because no one checked on us after any of our courses were served. The food was put down in front of us, and no one looked at us again until it was time to clear our plates. We'll come back if we're in the area again."
"Had the Osmanthus oolong lava cake and it was the perfect texture, not too sweet with good tea flavor. Paired with a white peach tea for an amazing after dinner stop in."
"Atti was a nice place for a fancier meal with friends or a date night. The chefs selected four cuts was more than enough for our group of three, we weren't able to finish all of the side dishes. We added the shrimp mandu as an appetizer which was excellent and crispy and not at all what we expected. The servers grill and cut the meat for you so it's a relaxing place to have high quality koran barbeque."
"Truly love this place. Pasta is top notch like you'd get at an expensive sit down restaurant. They know what they are doing and whoever designed the menu is first class. I'm grateful to be able to eat such high quality pasta dishes at that price point."
"Delicious food and cocktails!! After realizing that Sae Ron is the restaurant and Sae Ron Night is the bar upstairs, my partner and I decided to check out both of them! Sae Ron prides themselves of reimaging Korean food and I appreciated the fusion vibes! We didn't order too much because we wanted to save some space for the snacks and drinks upstairs, but they typically recommend 1 small dish and 1 big dish per person. The Uni Al-Bap packed so many flavors together - the umami and seafood flavors from the uni, ikura, and tobiko, savory and tangy flavors from the kimchi with a slight spice kick, and some sweetness from the daikon radish pieces. The crispy rice combined with all the flavors was very tasty!! Be sure to give it a good mix to get a bit of everything! The creme rose sujebi was also yummy and exceeded my expectations! It reminded me of a carbonara but with Korean spices. The potato noodles were chewy and resembled a flattened tteokbokki vs the Chinese hand-pulled noodles. The bacon bits were chunky and well-rendered. The creme nicely neutralized the spice, but also provided just enough creaminess that wasn't too rich or overpowering. For drinks, the White Korean and the Earl Grey Peach Highball were both solid! The White Korean was like an creamy espresso martini but not too sweet and the cream/milk were very smooth. The Highball had strong peach and tea flavors which made it really refreshing and easy to drink. Note that these drink menus are completely different from Sae Ron Night! The location itself is quite spacious with high ceilings and a mezzanine level. The white and dark green color scheme was fitting, along with some Seoul-related decor and floral attributes. Staff were friendly, smiley, and helpful with questions. Definitely want to come back to try other things on their menu!"
"The food was amazing. We were able to get a last minute reservation since we were staying at The Moore hotel which is located right next door who I also recommend. Service was great. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas and a little dark and moody which we loved."
"The Am-Thai is an amazing new addition to the Williamsburg dining scene. I've dined here a couple of times already, and they've only been open for about a month! Their dishes are packed with authentic flavors, and you can tell that Mama and her team cook everything with love. I've tried the Chive Shrimp Dumpling, Chicken Curry, Crispy Pork Belly with Basil Sauce, and the Beef Panang Curry, with the Pork Belly being my favorite. Service was also attentive, and super friendly. If you have room for dessert, give the Taro Custard with Coconut Rice a try; you won't be disappointed!"
"Tbh I don't remember trying the food here. I thought this was my first time... that is, until my sister hollered, "WDYM I BOUGHT YOU THE BEEF AND CHICKEN RAMEN BURGERS BEFORE!" and boy, did that jog my memory... and hurt my ears. Like sheesh, girl, why do you have to shout when I'm right next to you?? God, my poor ears. Anyways, I digress. From what I do remember, the ramen burgers were decent, albeit slightly too wet and soggy. Anyhow, onto the present. This time around, courtesy of our cousin who paid us a visit, we tried quite a few things off their menu, namely the BBQ Chicken Wings, the Spicy Fried Chicken Wings, the New Orleans Whole Roasted BBQ Chicken, the Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the Beef Burger.I'm not sure what's up with all the terrible reviews (nvm it's probably the service), but damnnnn Moon & Flower House makes some darn good chicken. Their New Orleans Whole Roasted BBQ Chicken was the best by far -- juicy, tender, and beautifully browned to perfection -- it's a must have! While there's nothing remotely "New Orleans" or Cajun about this chicken, boy, it sure is one hellaaaa fine chicken ;DComparatively, the Beef Burger leaves much to be desired. It's not terrible per se, but there's nothing incredible about it either. The patty was dry-- either from using beef that's too lean, from pressing the burgers and releasing the juices, or maybe even both. In short, chicken yea, beef nay."
"Walked in and saw this place packed at noon with elderlies and some kids. My friend and I have been curious on trying this place out for awhile now just because it's next to The Greenhouse Cafe.We were seated a little late because mostly one waiter was going back and forth on bringing out orders at the time. When we saw the menu, it was kind of blinding to read all that text, but it was manageable. I saw that they had fruit & cheeses for their menu and I've barely seen any places that have cheeseboards in their menu so I was very happy to try that out. Originally I had wanted Brie/Pepper Jack/Soft Cheddar, but they were out of Brie so I got Roquefort instead. The selection of three cheeses and assorted fruit w/ crackers was $15. My friend had ordered a Strawberry Margerita (says it's weak for a guy) and the waiter informs us on being out of strawberries. My friend was disappointed, but he opted for a regular. I ended up getting a Pina Colada so my friend wouldn't feel awkward drinking so early in the afternoon. Both were $6 each. When the fruits and cheeses arrived on the platter, it seemed appealing. However, I can see where those strawberries went (haha). The selection of fruit were very limited because the oranges served as decoration, but the crackers were just brittle and the Roquefort wasn't easy to spread on the poor cracker. I ended up just eating the cheeses alone. However my friend was disgusted with the idea of eating fruits together with the cheese. So he robbed my strawberries and put them into his margerita to prevent my wrath of cheese coating. The roquefort cheese was really salty top on of biting into those saltine crackers. So I ate slices of pepper jack and cheddar in between to alternate. My friend didn't get to finish his wrap and said it was underwhelming. He expected a pickle on the side, but got a regular cucumber sliced like a pickle. Quite funny to see the disappointment, but we ended our meal with a tiramisu. I should have probably started with dessert. It was really good except for the soggy cake being on the top layer underneath the whipped cream. I'm okay with coming here, but maybe not for brunch/lunch. I can probably give another try on this place. Another day perhaps."
"The food is absolutely amazing. I'm saying everything on the menu is delicious. The staff is also very pleasant. It feels like family every time I go there. Make sure you get the curry chicken wontons, you will never be disappointed. The backyard is gorgeous, make sure you check it out! It's lovely for a date night, out with the family, friends or even solo."
"This is the new chicken spot from the Black Tap team, that is as good as Black Tap was when Black Tap first opened, so definitely go now for some great chicken tenders. The fries and sandwiches are excellent too, so this is a perfect place for a quick meal of higher quality fried chicken."
"Came here for our Anniversary lunch. we could not snag a reservation for dinner so we lunched it. I been meaning to dine here because of Bourdain, viral social media, and really wanted to try the mutton. The entrees were great. the old fashion was strong. the side were eh. $17 for string beans,$11 for baked potato, $18 for mushrooms was insane. $73 for tbone and mutton I'm okay with. I need to mine more BTC.Service was great. our waiter and runner were on point. will come back but please don't hate me about the sides."
"All right, you have to go to this speakeasy. It was so cool. The vibes in there and the people were just great. And let me tell you do they know how to make an amazing old fashion. We came here after going to a comedy show and showed up here like at 1:00 AM. We had no reservation but The person at the door said it was fine and allowed us to go in.There is no seating at first, but we did want something to eat so they sat us in the little dining area in the back and we had ordered a couple of appetizers to share. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo but I will say the french fries were delicious and the little croquettes were bomb. Definitely go if you are in New York and enjoy your night there we ended up going home like at 3:00 AM and just had an amazing time there."
"I love Juniors! It was the one place I said I had to go when we were returning for a visit. The cheesecake is amazing! I've had their food before and that's great too. The service is fast and friendly and the interior is bright with accents of orange."
"I was very excited for my first visit to a personal booth style ramen joint! I never had a chance to try it when I was in Tokyo, so this location is a great alternative. Arriving at 9pm there was virtually no line, and I was directed to a tablet by an attendant to input my order. I ordered the Classic Tonkatsu Ramen, medium dashi (salt), medium richness (oil), and medium garlic. I went with the menu recommendations so I would have a baseline for how spicy the broth is intended to be, and the medium firmness of the noodles was perfect for me. As I don't tolerate spice too well the default level was also exactly where it needed to be for me. The pork wasn't as tender as some other ramen places I've tried but it was close. All in all, this ramen hit the spot on a freezing January evening in the city.As an iconic ramen staple, Ichiran firmly met my expectations. I will definitely be back to try a larger spread of the add-ons and Premium Yakibuta. The service was par for the course. I was not given an over the top enthusiastic welcome like I maybe would have received in Tokyo, but the staff were attentive. They asked if it was my first visit and let me know where to get water, how to order, and how my ramen would be delivered to the booth. I doubt the service at any other Manhattan ramen places would be much better. The tip being included in the overall price was also a plus.Others will agree the food is consistently good. The prices match the area around Times Square and should be expected. Ichiran has taken a tight menu and streamlined it well. As an iconic ramen staple, Ichiran firmly met my expectations. I will definitely be back to try a larger spread of the add-ons and Premium Yakibuta. Looking forward to my next visit."
"Cosme has been on my Hitlist for a while now and earlier this week I'm happy to say that it was worth the wait. We had an amazing dinner service here, with a mellow and cozy atmosphere without the pretentiousness of most restaurants of this caliber here in NY. Standouts were the fluke tosada, the duck carnitas, the mole, and the cauliflower tamal. Everything was well seasoned, nicely portioned, and beautifully plated. We finished the feast with pumpkin cheesecake and their signature cornhusk meringue. Overall we were satisfied and will most likely come back."
"I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally got a chance recently during the Christmas week. We 4 were there around 4pm on a Thursday and waited around 25 minutes to get in. The place is bigger than I expected as it is on the second floor through the small entrance on ground level. The interior has a nice cozy, wooden and Japanese vibe. I got the Hojicha Anmitsu and really liked it - the hojicha ice cream was very rich and goes very well with the agar jelly at the bottom (the brown sugar syrup adds to the sweetness nicely). The hot matcha latte is great for balancing the temperature on a cold winter day. It is more on the pricey side with each dessert around $20 each, but worth a visit for a treat when you crave authentic japanese desserts."
"i take Supermoon Bakery for granted but YOU SHOULD NOT as it would plus up any neighborhood with its unique selection of eats. Supermoon Bakehouse is a Lower East Side bakery serving up a monthly menu of rotating baked treats. savory or sweet: croissants to focaccia pizza to doughnuts to baguette sandwiches to "cruffins." Supermoon makes its own gelato flavors. the space is basically the bakery (no seating) and the giant counter where all the pastries are on display. the interior is very clean to the eye and modern. tip 1: if you haven't been to Supermoon, always get any one of their unique doughnutstip 2: try the croissants. there are always multiple flavors. recently, i enjoyed the "Spicy NYC" (part of the November 2024 menu). savory delicate buttery croissant filled with a flavorful cream cheese. the croissant doesn't skimp on the cream cheese and its savory with a touch of hit. tip 3: the eclairs are under-appreciated. get one! tried the Key Lime Pie Eclair (part of the November 2024 menu). tastes just like a real Key Lime Pie. the eclair tastes real lime throughout. nice balance of tart and sweetness.tip 4: the focaccia pizza are low-key good. tried the Thanksgiving Stuffing focaccia pizza and tastes like your favorite TDay stuffing in the form of thick crust pizza. so good. and a slice is hefty. tip 5: items sell out here all the time. come early like in the morning when they open. your best bet is on a weekday. weekends are tough bc you're competing with locals and tourists. the staff are pleasant, don't rush you, and make visits here enjoyable,."
