"Beautiful restaurant. Staff was friendly. Drinks were well made and the food was nicely portioned size. For 4 people dinner was around $320 with 2 appetizers, 4 drinks and 4 entrees. Not bad at all. The indoor/outdoor patio was beautifully decorated. Very romantic and cozy."

"First time trying vada pav and samosa pav. The pav/bread was so soft and buttery. In one bite, you experience the softness of the bread, the crunchiness of the samosa skin, and the smoothness of the spiced potato filling. The bread was spread with cilantro chutney and chili powder, adding an extra layer of freshness and heat.Paneer tikka roll. Perfect for snacking or a quick lunch! The grilled paneer cheese was milky and creamy!Lamb korma box. The korma was rich and nutty. The lamb was so tender it yielded to a fork's touch. A whole box contains one main entree, yellow dal, rice, paratha, onion salad... so filling!Chicken biryani. The chicken was juicy, and the whole dish was really well-spiced. Fiery, savory, tangy, sweet... very addictive.Mango lassi. Creamy, silky, and rich in mango flavor. A good companion to spicy Indian food!"
"A friend of mine and I got together to get lunch. When I arrived I found parking not too far away. I walked in and was greeted. The place was cute, and they had hidden back area opening soon, which reminded me of a speakeasy! We were served by Emma, and she was awesome! We started with drinks of the espresso martini, ild fashioned and the Flor de Pina. For our meal, I got the truffle fried burrata and the mac and cheese! The mac and cheese was delicious and made with kale sauce! I then had the jerk chicken, which wasn't bad. My friend had the chicken sandwich, which she enjoyed! All in all I had a good experience!"
"Pho sandwich, pho real!Pho in sandwich form, not what I would expect to work, but it does! Pho is definitely what I would call a multilayered burst of flavor in each bite. Some heat from the jalapeño, a hint of sour from the lime, a little crunch from the fresh bean sprouts and onions, earthy notes from the Thai basil and scallions, and most definitely a strong traditional beefy flavor from the slow roasted brisket. Complete the bite with the dipping broth and you've got everything from Pho in a handheld. The price of the sandwich is misleading, it's enough to share as it stands today, with some sides. I'll be back again soon for another bite."
"Lagos is so much fun! They have 3 levels, and each has beautiful decor. There is a flower cove near the bathrooms, which is Insta-worthy. And they even had a stilt walker! The drinks are good, though they could be stronger. We had beef suya, which was OK, but not the best suya. Our first bartender was the best, our second bartender was good, and our third bartender was OK. So experience could vary here depending on who you get."
"Interesting Diner in the Chelsea general area. A colleague recommended the place for a quick business lunch and it was a nice choice. Of course, it helps that the weather was simply perfect so the door was left open and the cool breeze made it feel really comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the food is ... to describe in one word: comfort food which is perfectly fine.We felt quite comfortable and had a chance to catch up on our conversation as it isn't too noisy either. Overall a good experience, if you find yourself in the area, by all means, dive in. It is totally worth it."
"It's a great takeout spot, but the ambiance inside is also so lovely, with friendly service and just good vibes. I can't explain why but if you need to sit down and debrief with a friend, this place is perfect. They have smoothies and some canned beer happy hour deals too.My two gripes:1. The food is DELICIOUS & well priced but I'm not a fan of whatever oil they fry their stuff in2. Whoever does the chalkboard menu art, for the love of all things good in the world, WHY are the fruit options under the smoothie menu written in the wrong colors?? I mean a pink avocado, green ginger, yellow cucumber, red carrots... I dig the rainbow but could you have tried to match at least some of them??All jokes aside this is a great spot!"
"With their multiple locations throughout NYC, The Grey Dog has been holding their own as a go to Breakfast/ Brunch spot since 1996. What longevity! And from the looks of things I suspect they should be around for another 28 years. The Grey Dog has a comfortable Dive Bar type vibe, with cool music plus a bevy of staff that were efficient and energetic. For breakfast I was undecided between the Chicken and Waffles, which is not a usual for me or Grey Dog's breakfast. I ended up opting for the latter. The large platters consists of eggs any style, home fries, a choice of breakfast protein plus either French Toast or Pancakes. I asked if the Johnny Cakes (Cornmeal Pancakes) could be subbed instead, which was an easy yes. Choosing the Johnny Cakes, kicked up my breakfast flavors making it 10x's better than choosing Pancakes or French Toast. I noticed the pics on Yelp suggests that most choose either French Toast or regular Pancakes when opting for Grey Dog's Breakfast. If you're a fan of cornmeal type items then don't sleep on the Johnny Cakes! After breakfast, the question arose...'would you come here again?' I'd absolutely come back again, especially for the Johnny Cakes. :)"
"Dined here last Saturday and it was an absolutely great choice given the variety of ramen spots in the area. It's a very cozy ramen spot and our waiter (forgot his name unfortunately) was very charming. My party ordered the Rayu Beef Ramen and the Miso Pork Chashu Ramen - both were incredibly flavorful and satisfying!"

The atmosphere on a Sunday evening was lively, lots of people. I ordered the burrata appetizer and it came out with missing ingredients. I asked about this and was told the kitchen improvised. I would have been ok if advised. My main entree was pretty good.

Went on a Sunday for brunch with a group. We had a reservation and they were cool about seating people while waiting for the rest of the party. Our waitress was attentive, nice, and considerate. She had good suggestions. We split a fried artichoke for the table, which was a great app. Would recommend. Rest of the food was typical brunch fare, which grey dog does solidly but not anything too special.Overall it's a good spot for a brunch, the vibes are fun in there. Like a sports bar turned brunch spot

Our server, Ralin, warmly welcomed us and instantly made us feel comfortable. He began by serving refreshing mango lassi drinks and offered insightful recommendations for our meal. With genuine enthusiasm, he explained each dish and highlighted the most popular ones in India.Every dish we tasted showcased the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were incredibly well-balanced, with spices and sauces harmonizing perfectly. We started with Samosa Chaat, a popular Indian street food. It was a delightful explosion of flavors and textures - sweet, spicy, melted in your mouth. Following Ralin's suggestion, we tried the Bhel Puri, which quickly became my favorite. He described it as Mumbai's most popular street food. It was sour, sweet, salty, crunchy, you name it! Despite the variety, everything came together beautifully. I highly recommend trying it! The chicken tikka roll was perfectly marinated, without being greasy or heavy. We also ordered the shrimp tikka masala, a true comfort food. The creamy sauce leaned slightly sweet for my taste, but it was balanced by the soft and fluffy rice, flavorful lentils, a refreshing onion salad, and the paratha - a flaky, layered flatbread. I did miss the option of naan, which is perfect for scooping up the sauce. The shrimp biryani was equally delightful, packed with flavor in every bite. I noticed the biryani contained a mix a both yellow and white rice grains. We had to end off the night with desserts. The gulab jamun was my personal favorite, it was cold but Ralin said that it's also really good warm. They are pillowy soft dough balls that are deep-fried till golden and then soaked in a sweet sugary syrup. Super sweet!! I wasn't really a fan of the ras malai but I liked the creamy cardamom milk sauce. Food was incredibly filling, so come hungry! The small bites are served on small plates making it easy to share. We also love how convenient it is to box the food since it's already on trays. For an authentic Indian food experience, look no further! The restaurant might be small, but it buzzes with takeout orders.

Food was pretty good for the bar restaurant, pleasant surprise. We had the burrata flatbread, short rib flat bread, crispy chicken sandwich, and the pesto mac n cheese. All very yummy. The drinks unfortunately missed the mark. Asked the server if the bar will be able to jalapeño's margarita, because we were in the mood for something spicy and tangy. We were assured it would not be a problem at all. Out comes two glasses of clear liquid with ice and a slice of jalapeño. Not even a basic cayanne-salt or tajin rim. Apart from that the music was great and bites were yummy!

Not exactly Bánh mì really, but these are lovingly crafted sandwiches with an Asian kick The place is small with some seating. It is mostly a take out place, so I got several items to go with my son.The Xiu Mai Pork Meatball sandwich on ciabatta was my absolute favorite. I loved the addition of jalapenos and thai basil pork meatball with the traditional tomato sauce and melted mozzarella in regular Italian meatball sub. The thai basil and jalapenos kicked up the flavor.Next up was my second favorite the crispy fried chicken with buttermilk fried chicken, shaved lettuce, pickled carrot and daikon, ginger scallion aioli, on a brioche bun. The topping and breading on the sandwich made it very tasty. The pho sandwich had slow braised beef, onions, scallions, cilantro, thai basil, thin sliced jalapeno, crispy shallots, hoisin on soft ciabatta. This is the one most people like but something was lacking for me. I do wish the bread was not soft ciabatta and it was crustier like a traditional banh mi baguette. Also, it did not taste like pho to me. I tried 2 different Pho sandwiches at the nearby Sunny and Annies, each with different ingredients and both tasted like actual pho on bread. I wish this sandwich tasted more like this. The sandwich was good but did not taste like actual Pho.I loved the tots with sesame aioli, ginger scallion aioli, scallions, pickled red onions. They were nice crispy and hot and tasted great with the sauces and toppingsI would pickup a sandwich again if in the area and would like to try the grandmas pork sandwich next time.

We got quite a bit of everything from the menu and I was super impressed by the quality of the food. Amazing restaurant for food hands down. Cannot complain at all. Things are as spicy as I expected them to be and this was great. The service is pretty good. Definitely can't complain. Doesn't feel like they're trying to get you to buy too much food or anything. Nice service. The ambiance is very lounge. With about three floors there's lots of space but definitely a lounge more than a restaurant.

Came to Motel Morris on a Sunday around 2. I expected there wouldn't be many people there but it was completely packed. Even when we left at 3:30 people were still waiting to get in. My friend says it's her favorite brunch spot so I came in with pretty high expectations, and it was really good but just not my favorite spot in the city. The pancakes (which she ordered) sort of tasted like Cinnabon. Is that the point?! Who knows. I got the huevos. They were good but didn't blow me away. I may also just not be a brunch person though =\ I've heard this spot is really good for dinner so I'd definitely be willing to come back to give that a go. Also, if this matters to you, the restaurant is very like chic and instagrammy.

Seekers of healthy food, listen up, because Brooklyn Tree is a cut above other eateries. You may not expect much from the generic name and no frills interior. Their simple menu of sandwiches, plates, and salads even feels uninspired, but the execution is actually flawless. I'm in the area often for comedy nights and bar hangs, and to offset the effects of the alcohol I often seek out a hearty bowl of greens. The Brooklyn Tree has yet to disappoint me.The roasted pumpkin salad is my favorite on the menu, with its crispy chickpeas, red onion, artichoke, pumpkin, and tahini dressing on a bed of greens. The portion if you dine in is especially large, and made even better with a veggie burger or salmon burger as an added protein. I love pairing this with their amazing sweet potato fries, and in the evenings you can even get a beer, wine, or some simple cocktails to go with your order. You order and pay at the register, and there are only a few tables with metal chairs in the space, so note that the vibe is very casual, but for a quick stop before I head out to the bars in the neighborhood, I think Brooklyn Tree is a solid, healthy option.

"The food and atmosphere get the most stars. The French toast was perfect and so were the eggs . The customer service was some of the worst I've experienced from the moment we were greeted . Clearly 4 of us were standing together and the hostess asks. Table for 3 or 4 huh ? Then our server just stands and looks at us no greeting whatsoever . She took our order then came back later when it looked like we were finished . Never asked how we enjoyed the meal or if we needed anything else . She just started taking the empty plates. We thought we were in the middle of a skit that's how poorly she treated us but she was friendly to other customers."
"Made reservations ahead of time which I highly suggest as the space is incredibly small and popular. It was cool the be able to order everything online and pay the tab in the same manner. No interaction with sever needed unless there was an issue which there wasn't. The pink concept is soooooo cute! Loved the beautiful design. I got the pink waffle and was able to customize it to my liking. I got a side of cheesy eggs and bacon. The wings were deliciously sauced. I got a lemonade with an edible straw for razzle dazzle. The food came out quick and was tasty. No complaints would recommend but please make reservations and be mindful of the tight space"
"Well if you need a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city Friend of a Farmer is the spot to try, a quiet cozy atmosphere awaits you and the seasonal changing menu has plenty of tasty options to tantalize your taste buds We started with the roasted cauliflower and the sautéed mushrooms both were fresh and tasty appetizers my partner had the chicken pot pie for dinner and I opted for the halibut both came to the table hot and were excellent entree's that exceeded our expectations as we always heard good things about the Friend's brunch dinner was superb as well, the service by Muritzio was attentive & professional and sitting by the warm fireplace on a chilly winter night added to the wonderful experience"
"We needed a place to grab a light bite before we went to the Van Gogh exhibit. 7 Elephants was perfect! We ordered two appetizers, fried gyoza and chicken satay! Both were plentiful, served hot and delicious! I wish I had enough time to enjoy a full lunch... price was right and it sounded yummy! I came back later to grab a bottle of their Thai iced coffee, sweetened, but not too sweet, so good! The place is a small place, you might miss it if you blink! They did have a table or two for outside seating. Check it out!"
"This is my favorite sports bar in the area. ELEVEN TV cramped into a single room space. Fair prices. Super attentive staff. Great selection of beverages and snacks. Even greater selection of board games along the back wall if sports are just not your jam. Outdoor seating is also available, for which a tv often times gets brought out.You won't find yourself eating healthy here, but who goes to a bar for a salad, amiright? I am actually quite fond of the steak and bell pepper spring rolls, which are huge and satisfying. I actually find myself craving these from time to time, which I can't say about many bar menu items elsewhere. My recent Union Grounds discovery is their Trivia Night on Tuesdays at 8pm. My team is embarrassingly terrible and came in dead last place to no one's surprise, but it was still a fun way to end a Tuesday. Don't snooze on the $10 frozen spicy margs and $3 chicken taco specials. With yet another football season quickly approaching, I am definitely looking forward to hanging out at Union Grounds way too often for way too long. Go Jags!"
"I was having a really lousy day, when a friend decided to snatch me up for food and drinks at Blossom's. She's been there several times to my first time experience and it was a great choice. We stepped inside and immediately I was warmed up by the homey, beautiful old school, decor. I felt like I was about to sit down inside of my grandparents' home. We were welcomed by Sekou, the most wonderful bartender ever. He offered me a sample of frozen rum punch after hearing about my miserable day. We arrived just after 530PM and immediately got into some of everything. I started my night with a full order of the frozen rum punch. My friend had a mango cocktail. Both were sooo frosty and good. Next, my friend and I both ordered the lobster biscuits. I ordered a main course of crispy fried snapper with mashed potatoes and string beans. While I was munching, I asked about the games that were stacked up on the bar where we were sitting. Before you know it, I was tipsy and engaged in lively conversation with everyone at the bar. Bartender Sekou and I, got into a few rounds of Jenga with another patron. Two hours in, Sekou was taking song requests to play for us on the big screen. Lisa, one of the owners, along with her husband, were in the kitchen cheffing it up. They both came out periodically to ask how we liked the food. I kept drinking and became interested in an order of empanadas listed on the Happy Hour menu. I went with the shrimp alfredo type. Sekou kept the shots and fun going and at the end of our time there, Lisa offered my friend and I a slice of bourbon chocolate cake with whipped cream topping, on the house. I had a wonderful time at Blossom's. It truly was like being at game night with my favorite cousins. I'll be going back for sure!"
"Good, the bok choy was really good. The wrap was also tasty. I would say the quantity it's a little small of an item for the price in my view. Two items. 30 bucks. would've felt more appropriate if size of the wrap wa a bit more substantial- but the bok choy was very very tasty"
"Food is pretty good and the staff is nice! My favorite is the beef bulgogi and the spicy pork. I will be deducting a star though since I wanted to just try a small piece of meat so that I may like it next time. The manager straight up said no. I'm already spending $24 on the bowl. Maybe I'm a bit entitled, but I think that's just the manager being cheap.Overall though, I would recommend this place."
"I came here for Saturday brunch. We arrived about a half hour after opening and we were the only ones there. Rather than a restaurant, this place is more of a lounge and bar with a shuffle board table in the back. It has a few tables throughout, but they are quite low and not really set up for eating so it's a bit awkward for brunch. They have a QR code menu. You order at the bar and can sit anywhere. They bring your food to your table. I ordered the sprouts hash. They were out of some of the ingredients so I literally got just a bowl of brussel sprouts with an egg on top. I let the waiter know and they were super apologetic and said they didn't get a chance to update the menu with the changes to the dish. They gave me a free drink to make up for it, which I appreciated. I got the lychee martini. It was sweet and juicy. My sister got a side of breakfast potatoes (which they also comped for us because of the mistake with my entree) and grits and gravy. She said they were tasty, but the portion sizes were a bit small. They were definitely having an off day because while we were seated, one of their beer taps leaked on the floor. Despite the mishaps, their customer service was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. I'd probably still check them out at night for the bar scene, which I think may be more of their wheelhouse."
"I come to this spot 2, maybe 3 times a week. It's close by so I come often to grab my Stew Chicken, white rice, and cabbage. They haven't failed me yet. The food is always hot and fresh and the place is very clean. I like how they keep the food covered behind the glass. There are high top counters with chairs along the windows but mostly everyone orders to take-out. There are a lot of food options, even though I stick to my Stew Chicken. Each and every time I had a friend with me, he or she enjoyed the meal....Shrimp, Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork. I did have the Fried Chicken before and it was good. The prices/portions are good as well. The mini/small Stew Chicken is $6 and the medium is $8. As for staff, one lady is much nicer and friendlier than the other but they both give the same healthy portion so as long as my tummy is satisfied, I can deal. They are also closed on Sundays. I found out the hard way."
"HELL YES. Sonbul has fully taken over Burly and now offers a breakfast menu - at least on weekends. The Korean breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious and is going to be my new go to breakfast on the weekends! Delicious scrambled eggs with shredded veggies, tater tots (!!!), and kimchi. Hell yeah. Excited for the addition of breakfast to Sonbul's amazing dinner menu. Highly recommend the Japchae, Kinmari, the Korean Cheesesteak (I don't eat red meat and even I eat this on occasion), and of course the epic Korean fried chicken."
"Overall Review 3.5.I ordered after watching TikToker SadeintheCity's review. Ordered the 6 wings platter with collard greens and mac and cheese and 4 garlic butter shrimp add in. Overall the plate was packed. I definitely feel like I got my monies worth. The only reason I am removing 1.5 stars is due to the salt. Everything was overly salty except the wings. It made me regret not getting the candied yams for balance. Nonetheless, every restaurant is entitled to an off day or a chef that may be salt happy (every once in a while lol). More than happy to try again and update my review."
"This is an excellent place to grab a meal before or after a visit to either the Brooklyn Museum, or the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Why?1. It's right around the corner.2. The food is great. That's all you need to know, really, but here are three other things I'm going to tell you anyway:3. The jerk pork bowl is SERIOUSLY spicy. I found it hard not to yell at my very nice server when he set down a bottle of scotch bonnet hot sauce, because my entire face was already on fire. But the jerk pork is also seriously tasty, so I'd get it again.4. The veggie chili is pretty solid. I would probably never order it, but my mom did, and it was actually quite delicious, and a good portion.5. They have a kid's menu, and all their meals come with milk or juice. My kid got milk, and I almost stole it to cool the flames on my face (capsaicin is fat soluble, and dairy works great)."
"Everything here was delicious! I had the chicken & gravy entree and it was one of the best chicken meals I've ever had. I also ordered the chicken & fries entree for my daughter and could have skipped ordering that as my entree was gigantic. We couldn't leave without ordering a shake (of course). The s'mores shake was so good that it was done in the blink of an eye. All in all, a great meal!"
"Great brunch spot in union square! It seems to be a very popular breakfast/ brunch location. My only tid is that they did not have decaf coffee (trying to kick the caffeine in 2025). I was craving a sort of Mexican brunch bowl and they were kind enough to let me swap the eggs for the meat and add a side of crema. It was delish! I ate the entire thing. Definitely will return! The staff were super upbeat and friendly. Definitely a sit down spot for a brunch where you can take your time and relax in a super quirky and cute interior."
