We started with the beet salad and tuna salad app. Both were delicious. The rigatoni pesto and paparedelle bolognese were lovely. Could have been a little more al dente but all good. The pork chop special was a play on milanese style but the pork chop bad a parmesan topping. It was good as well. There were only two desserts that didn't jump out to us so didn't go for it. Wine selection was good too. I would recommend and come back. 4 stars."

Ruby C. "Cheap eat spot in Manhattan! Their cupbop ranges from $8.99 to $10.99, or $11.99 if you want to make it half and half. Students can enjoy extra 10% off. Although the rice bowl portion size is relatively small than a regular korean rice bowl, it's totally enough for me and my friend. They load up our bowls with meat, kimchi and salad so it is more filling than we thought. The fried dishes are also made to order. I can see myself coming back for affordable meals. *Bulgogi & Pork Katsu Cupbop*Spicy Pork & Popcorn Chicken Cupbop**We agreed their sweet and spicy sauce is really good, meaning you can't go wrong with their spicy food. The rice is seasoned with seaweed, mayo, and we can taste a hint of yuzu flavor from the salad dressing. Spicy pork and popcorn chicken are our favorite protein toppings. *Regular Chicken Mandu*Sweet and Spicy Chicken Mandu**WOW the deep fried mandu is so delicious! The regular one comes with a sweet soy sauce to dip into, while the sweet and spicy one is coated with a shiny glazed sauce, giving it a richer flavor profile. Each mandu is stuffed with chicken so it's very filling."

"@tenten_nyc is a vietnamese restaurant that specializes in northern style pho! there are four options you can choose from. they also sell coffee and other drinks! this is the perfect place to go to on a cold winter day.ft:-#2: rice noodle with beef shin and brisket: the main thing i noticed was that the noodles were wider. the broth was very delicious in terms of flavoring and was perfectly salted. the beef was insanely tender. overall, a pretty good bowl of pho. i got fried dough sticks on the side and i really recommend it. fried dough sticks were a large part of my childhood!-#3: rice noodle with sauteed beef and garlic: the broth in this bowl was noticeably different from the other bowl, and it was quite delicious. it was definitely not the "normal" pho broth flavor that i was imagining, but nevertheless, really delicious. the sautéed beef was seasoned nicely, and definitely added more flavor to the broth. -lemongrass peach tea with fresh peach and orange slices: wow!!! i really loved this drink! the peach was the most prevalent flavor, but mixed well with everything else. it isn't too too peachy which i like. super refreshing!tènten119 Baxter St Unit B, New York, NY 10013thank you for having me follow @rebeccatakesnyc for more nyc content!"

The matcha crepe is delicious, with the bitterness of the matcha powder perfectly complementing the cool cream and red beans layered within the roll. Their sweet items are always perfectly sweet for me, not over the top and tooth-achingly so.Their savory items are also stellar. I especially love the California sandwich, which is essentially a California roll in sandwich form, with imitation crab meat, avocado, and masago mayo. Simple yet tasty and comforting. Oysters are fresh and wonderful and they have a consistent happy hour. Soundtrack is also usually on point and carries the southern theme in the best way possible. We put our names in and were pleasantly surprised that the wait was shorter than expected, but after we were sat we were ignored for 15 minutes. Had to ask 2 separate people if we could place our order. The person who took our order was nice, but then disappeared again until we flagged someone down again to ask for the check. We watched both tables on either side of us get seated and served their meals - and one table finished their meal, paid, and left - before our food came out. Food was delicious but the energy kind of felt weirdly hostile - not sure I'll be back because it almost felt like we were unwelcome. Am I not quirky enough to dine here or something? Really strange experience."

The vibes are super cute! The salmon onigiri ($5.50) was pretty disappointing, it was not super flavorful and was a bit dry honestly. The shiso leaf overpowered the salmon as it was a bit bland. I would not recommend. The chicken karage ($6) was much better flavor wise, and there was a decent amount of chicken, but the chicken itself was no longer crispy at all, and I wish there was more mayo. If I were to come back, I would probably get this one again. Overall, pretty cute spot with not too bad prices, but definitely aren't the best onigiri in town."

I ordered the 5 Spice Special Pho ($22), 6 pcs Rooster Wings ($13), and Summer Rolls ($12). While a bit pricey, the pho did includes lots of toppings and ingredients. The special had a variety of meats like sliced raw angus round eye, sliced angus brisket, braised boneless beef ribs, and Vietnamese beef balls. The broth is flavorful and it was a delicious bowl of pho. I also enjoyed the wings, which were crispy and covered in a garlic chili dressing. The summer rolls were also fresh, but the rice paper was on the thicker side.Overall, my meal here was delicious and definitely satisfied my Vietnamese cravings. It is on the pricey side though."

One staff member was playing the meat puppets one time and we got into a conversation about it. Just the sweetest people. I was working on a project on my laptop and would be there for like 4 hours at a time. Still working on it... lol. Whenever I come across stuff I wrote there I feel nostalgic for the space. They were so sweet to me as I was deciding what to try. They let me sample a piece of their grilled chicken and the broccoli rabe - while giving me some recommendations from the menu. The grilled chicken was well season and cooked perfectly. The Broccoli rabe was pretty good. I ended up getting a chicken parm hero for my son and a chicken club on a roll for myself. I placed my order to go. My son and I enjoyed the sandwiches at home. The chicken cutlets were so fresh, with the perfect crispiness. I really enjoyed the garlic aioli and the sauce ithe chicken parm was pretty good too! The sandwiches were made to order and it didn't take long for them to be made. It gave me enough time to take a walk around the store and explore the store. I decided to try a peach juice that I saw in their refrigerator. There's a swing behind a very Instagrammable backdrop. At the counter, you'll find their offerings of "Sammiches" and sliders and they are great.I got to try a variety of items. We both split two different "sammiches". The Signature Sammich ($10) was created by the owner as an item she grew up eating, which has a nice slice of Spam along with egg, corn, lettuce, and cheese. What they're known for is the Hotpot Sammich ($10), which they took the beef slices you usually boil in a hotpot and made it a sandwich with egg, onion, tomato, lettuce, and cheese. Delicious. Loved the toasted bread that they use, which enhances the taste. If you're not feeling the sandwich concept, they also make sliders, which are essentially mini versions of the sammiches.I also got a Frapp'eo, which is essentially an Oreo Frappuccino. I liked the rich broth paired with the Hong Kong style noodles. The duck also had the subtle sweetness to it although some parts were not super tender. I didn't care much for the vegetables in the dish. It was a solid noodle soup.Overall, not a bad eat at all especially if you're in the area. They also have bottles of sake and some kitchen supplies like sauces for sale.Make your way to the back for their restaurant, and you'll see a generous amount of seating, probably enough for like 40 people or so. There's even a backyard with tables and chairs, a dining area that looks just as large as the one inside, though it was too cold for me to hang out back there. Inside, it's reminiscent of a nice cafeteria, and there's no table service, so I found the $25+ price tag for the lunch sets a bit high. The karaage set came with purple rice and a salad and was pretty tasty, as was the hojicha latte I got to wash it all down with.As charming as the place was, I don't think I'm running back. Part of what I'm paying for is the time to enjoy sitting there, letting my food settle and talking to whoever I'm eating with, not looking up at the clock to see how much longer I have until I need to leave. I don't know, I'm always open to constructive criticism. I'm not letting it reflect in the rating because I normally don't sit at a place for 2 hours.Outside of asked-to-leave-the-table gate, this place is delightful. A warm and cozy vibe that one could expect in Southwest Michigan, or "Swishigan" as the locals call it. A classic American brunch spot with huge portions and solid pancakes which is honestly harder to come by in NYC than you'd think.
