"On freezing cold day, nothing beats a warm bowl ramen. I searched around where I was and found the Jin. It is situated on a relatively quiet section of the neighborhood. I could not find obvious sign out front but the clean, modern design of the entrance made it the 'obvious'. There are two kinds of ramen options - pork vs chicken. I chose the pork option. I also ordered a small fried chicken. When both came out, I was surprised by the size of the fried chicken. It's good for two people. The skin was crispy and the hot sauce was just right, spicy and tangy. The ramen was good but the stand out item in it was the poached egg. You have to try it. The only shortcomings of this place is single restroom. It's clean but looks like needing a renovation. Would be back in the summer and try out a few more items."

When I don't feel like waiting in line for Soju Haus or Bangia, Turntable always pulls through with its fun speakeasy 5th floor vibes, crowd-pleasing snacks, and table availability.Although it can't compete with its sister restaurant on 33rd Street when it comes to peculiar names, LP Bar offers a much more intimate vibe than Turntable Chicken Jazz. My favorites on the menu are the kimchi pajeon, the tteokpokki, and the thick fries."

Sauce was a bit sweet.The Bulgogi Kimbap was obnoxiously wrapped with too much rice that exploded beyond the seaweed wrapping. I appreciate the one free rice they gave me but probably will not be going back sadly."

"I am happy to say that this place is still around and just realized it's been 10 years to the day today that I'm writing another review for them! (Yikes a long time for me, but so awesome that they've been around for so long!).I came here late night tonight on a dessert search after another place canceled my order after I arrived... My House to the rescue and, even better, they had a dessert my husband loves and we don't often get - a homemade magnolia banana cream pudding with nilla wafers and bananas! So delicious and I was also blessed to try the Dubai chocolate that they also have specially made for them :)The place has grown in the last 10 years and they have both an outdoor area as well as a back area for drinks and hookah. This evening they had a lovely firelogs background playing on the 2 TVs and it was a nice and cozy space for a date night or a chill spot with friends. The interior is clean and was nicely decorated for the holidays and the girls behind the counter were super sweet! I got a chance to see the owner again, whom I met way back when and it was so lovely speaking with him! My husband and I really enjoyed meeting him and seeing how much he cares. He really stands behind his products and today seeing him again, nothing has changed and I see why they're still going strong. I will definitely be back and recommendy House Burgers and Shakes! :)"

"I came to this country back in 2000, I don't know if they were open then. But I think in 2005 when I started eating from here. In 2024 there are hundreds of Halal place now in New York City . But back in 2005 this was the only place which was serving 100% halal food. I used to come from Staten Island , then from queens just to get some Chinese food ! And still after all this years when I am in Atlantic avenue I still get off from the train just to get some beef lo main for my son. Because that's the only place he likes lo main from. They are always extremely busy, sometimes they do mess up the order. But I am a loyal customer & because of their actions trying to feed us 100% halal food when no one wanted to, I will forgive small mistakes. Anyone who lived in New York City back then knows how much we all Muslims appreciated them! I will definitely try to take some pictures when I go next time."

They also don't start serving chicken until dinner, so plan accordingly. I ordered the rib dinner plate with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I ordered a side of potato salad, yams and strawberry cake. All of it was so delicious. The collard greens were a little spicy but I was able to eat it all. The macaroni and cheese was very flavorful and the ribs were decent. I could try a different meat next time because the ribs were small and a bit chewy portion for the $16 plate. The strawberry cake was sooooooo delicious. I'm sorry I had to emphasize that a little or maybe a lot? Ha! The yams and potato salad also a huge hit. I'll definitely order from here again. Prices are good and food is amazing."

A strong Knicks contingent comes here to watch the games as well as follow the Jets and Giants. Drinks are moderately prices and served well by the bartenders. No fancy cocktails hete, but great drinks and a wide selection of beers. The food has recently been revamped and is excellent, served by Jess who quickly serves up tasty burgers, crispy chicken and great sides such as fries and tenders. It is a great compliment to the drink menu and one of the few places in the area where one can have a few drinks, eat some food, and watch the games without breaking the bank .Come visit early during the week (by 7PM) and take part in watching Jeopardy as well!"

And the proportion to other ingredients in the bowl was on the mark. The chicken and fries were good, but not so distinctively superior to any other Korean fried chicken in the city. Most notable was the service. We basically had 20 minutes to dine and drink because we were in a rush. We let the host and server know up front and they got us taken care of. And they were so sweet. The seasonings are pronounced in a good way on this burgerBut in any case , the meat was also moist and the sauce really complimented the overall burger and even the American cheese stood out in all the complex flavors and created a beautiful balance . Their Cajun chicken sandwich also was delicious and again well seasoned . This is leagues better than a shake shack and five guys and is similarly priced and is conveniently near Barclays ."

If you like Asian toys and knick knacks and you are in the area you might want to pop in and look. I figured I would just sit in my car even though there is seating inside and eat my food. I grabbed a fry and it was really like what I needed. It was not just some bland strugglish potato. It was a salty fried tasty gift from the heavens. If they taste this great sober, those of you who are drinking will probably appreciate them.Though I wanted fish, I decided to get wings. There were plenty of sauce options but I decided to just go with medium sauce. I ordered a soda and the nice woman who helped me made sure that I didn't walk out without it. She also asked me if I wanted some of those crazy coin purses and I decided to buy two for $5.Overall I think I spent $19. I got six buffalo wings fries and a soda for 13 something. I got two coin purses for $5. The wings were tasty but the fries were so good but I just focused on them like a guy would focus on someone's friend because he's a douchebag.I definitely did not expect to have this kind of good experience at this place and I am happy that I stopped in."

"My group of 6 came here after walking around the Christmas house decorations in Dyker Heights and the name of this place was no lie. This place was fire. Service was incredible and the food was better.We ordered a large plate of 1/2 Lamb and 1/2 chicken as our entree, an order of the meat sambusa, and an order of fries.The sambusa and fries came first which we ate with the 3 incredible house made sauces. The sambusa was crunchy on the outside and filled with a delicious well seasoned meat on the inside. That paired with the green sauce was delicious. The fries were also great although in the future I'll try either the lentil soup or the Kurma.Lastly the plate, again, was fire. The chicken and lamb were very flavorful and tender, which was a joy to eat. Served on a bed of rice and a salad, it all paired so well together with the juiciness of the meat, the crunch of the salad, and the rice. It all came together for an incredible flavor mixture which was even further expanded upon with the sauces available. Each adding a novel and delicious combination.I'll be back!"
