"I would consider this fast casual, and within that class I would rate it a 4.We got the bulgogi bowl and the soy garlic wings with fries. Oh yeah and a couple of lychee martinis. The bowl was good, but had I known they had regular japchae I would've preferred that. The bulgogi was a bit sweet for my personal taste, but it was otherwise seasoned well and cooked just right. And the proportion to other ingredients in the bowl was on the mark. The chicken and fries were good, but not so distinctively superior to any other Korean fried chicken in the city. Most notable was the service. We basically had 20 minutes to dine and drink because we were in a rush. We let the host and server know up front and they got us taken care of. And they were so sweet. And they gave us a bonus bowl of fresh popcorn. Thanks for the kind treatment!"

"LilliStar is a trendy new cocktail bar at the rooftop of the Moxy in Williamsburg, and they know what they are doing!The cocktails are fantastic - I had their take on a spicy margarita, and it was delicious. I also had their spin on a Moscow Mule, and again - really unique and tasty.The guacamole with plantain chips was phenomenal, an unexpected bonus to a night out for drinks.The atmosphere is a bit clubby, with dim lighting and a DJ. But still, the chill cocktail vibe manages to persevere, and it's a nice place for a date or for small groups. AMAZING views of midtown Manhattan too, with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows and a nice patio. Make sure to book a reservation in advance, otherwise you'll be relegated to standing room by the bar.Definitely recommend this place, especially in nice weather!"

The meat near the bone was super flavorful, tender and juicy.Stir-fried veggies with shrimp paste - The shrimp paste added so much flavor, and the crispy garlic on top made it anything but boring!Charcoal-grilled pork neck - Sweet, smoky pork paired with crunchy lettuce was a perfect combo.Thai coconut chicken hotpot - Different from the coconut chicken hotpot I've had in Shenzhen. The chicken here seemed roasted, which gave it a unique twist. The broth was creamy white and rich in coconut flavor, loaded with tofu puffs, fish cakes, bamboo shoots, and more. At $20, this hotpot was a great deal!Wrapped it all up with Mango Sago for dessert--thick and rich mango goodness! They also have a whole series of cheese-baked dishes that I'm eyeing for my next visit. Can't wait to try them out!"

"Westbury Inn is a great place, located in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens that is not fancy, a basic neighborhood bar that a gem in a rapidly changing area that's becoming full of niche places. Westbury has a great wide open space (and backyard) that's conducive to watching sports as there are several TVs in the area. A strong Knicks contingent comes here to watch the games as well as follow the Jets and Giants. Drinks are moderately prices and served well by the bartenders. No fancy cocktails hete, but great drinks and a wide selection of beers. The food has recently been revamped and is excellent, served by Jess who quickly serves up tasty burgers, crispy chicken and great sides such as fries and tenders. It is a great compliment to the drink menu and one of the few places in the area where one can have a few drinks, eat some food, and watch the games without breaking the bank .Come visit early during the week (by 7PM) and take part in watching Jeopardy as well!"

"This used to be another spot, The Swan moved in and did the remix. This is a friendly after work spot located in Bed-Stuy. TV's are everywhere, it was soccer on tonight and the bar was going wild. The drinks are top shelf and flowing, the prices are affordable, and this bartender will mix whatever you desire. I was invited here for after work drinks and The Swan did not disappoint. The service is friendly, the bartender is attentive, and there's a wonderful seating area in the back yard if the bar scene is not for you. I had Espolòn Tequila and pineapple juice which was s tasty and not too sweet. The shots of Espolòn Tequila made my night. I like my wings HOT. The hot wings with cayenne based sauce and ranch were definitely worth the trip.Come out and enjoy the casual atmosphere on any night, seating also available out front. "Alright so I stumbled upon Wangs by complete accident but the scent of their kitchen lured it's way to my nose and instantly get my attention. I felt like one of those cartoons that just got lured somewhere from the scent of something delicious. I couldn't stop eating and it kept me full for the rest of the day. Bought one for my brother who is very nonchalant when it comes to food and he was saying it was easily one of the best things he'd eaten and he wanted to keep eating despite being full. You can easily make two meals out of this. The lamb reminded me of halal cart lamb. Also got the jerk chicken Rasta pasta which was a smaller portion size but still alot of food. Admittedly I didn't enjoy the taste of the chicken, I think it was the meat itself that didn't have the best flavor but the jerk seasoning itself was fine. Pasta was in a more liquidy sauce so it slid right off the noodles. I think I would've enjoyed it better with the lamb. Also tried the oxtail Mac and cheese empanada. It was my first time having oxtail and don't think it's my thing but loved the creativity of the menu item. Spectacular spot with a few stools to sit and eat at. They weren't open exactly at opening time so I recommend coming closer to 30 min post opening. Would be back if it weren't so far from me!"

You can choose up to 3 sauces, one for the drumsticks, one for the wings, and one for the nuggets.Do note that their chicken is made to order, so the wait can take up to 30 minutes. We were the only customers upon arrival, and got our food in roughly 10 to 15 mins, though there were many in-person and delivery orders after us.- Soy Garlic Wings 蒜味酱油鸡翅We opted for soy garlic wings, and these were delicious. "Since the pandemic I've been ordering from Miss Dong. It's like an Asian McDonald's. I've ordered take out and as well as delivery and I haven't had any problem. Delivery was within 25 minutes. I do prefer Miss Dong over Moon and Flower as their menu is very similar. They also have combos to choose from. I usually order their crab burger which they do not have in Moon and Flower. Also Miss Dong provides better customer services for example when you call in advanced to order and once your order is done, the cashier would normally give you a call. For the last two month or so they were offering buy 2 get 1 free burger which I took over. I did like their chicken nuggets for a time period but the last two order was overalls fried but that doesn't stop me from ordering from Miss Dong!"

If they taste this great sober, those of you who are drinking will probably appreciate them.Though I wanted fish, I decided to get wings. There were plenty of sauce options but I decided to just go with medium sauce. I ordered a soda and the nice woman who helped me made sure that I didn't walk out without it. She also asked me if I wanted some of those crazy coin purses and I decided to buy two for $5.Overall I think I spent $19. I got six buffalo wings fries and a soda for 13 something. I got two coin purses for $5. The wings were tasty but the fries were so good but I just focused on them like a guy would focus on someone's friend because he's a douchebag.I definitely did not expect to have this kind of good experience at this place and I am happy that I stopped in."

"I am happy to say that this place is still around and just realized it's been 10 years to the day today that I'm writing another review for them! (Yikes a long time for me, but so awesome that they've been around for so long!).I came here late night tonight on a dessert search after another place canceled my order after I arrived... My House to the rescue and, even better, they had a dessert my husband loves and we don't often get - a homemade magnolia banana cream pudding with nilla wafers and bananas! So delicious and I was also blessed to try the Dubai chocolate that they also have specially made for them :)The place has grown in the last 10 years and they have both an outdoor area as well as a back area for drinks and hookah. This evening they had a lovely firelogs background playing on the 2 TVs and it was a nice and cozy space for a date night or a chill spot with friends. The interior is clean and was nicely decorated for the holidays and the girls behind the counter were super sweet! I got a chance to see the owner again, whom I met way back when and it was so lovely speaking with him! My husband and I really enjoyed meeting him and seeing how much he cares. He really stands behind his products and today seeing him again, nothing has changed and I see why they're still going strong. I will definitely be back and recommendy House Burgers and Shakes! :)"

Fun fact: They have a restaurant and a lounge in the same building that share a wall! You can host birthdays or special events too. The lounge has a bar and hookah if you're in to that as well. Now let's talk about the food: AMAZING! Imagine a Japanese x Mexican hybrid. We had one deep fried sushi role that was AMAZING! The guacamole was super fresh and made right in front of us and the rest of the food was delicious. Even the ambiance and decor was a vibe. The interior is beautiful and the outdoor patio is perfect for summer time. Another fun fact: The place just opened this year in April. They're still creating interesting new dishes and everything was so amazing and tasty and the best part is because it's so fresh, we didn't even feel bloated. We were vey happy and full! "My favorite Korean fried chicken in all of NYC. First off, Peeps Kitchen is run by the sweetest couple ever. They are the friendliest, warmest people you'll ever meet. You can really tell that their food is a labor of love, and you'll taste it in every bite!Like all the other reviews mention, there's no seating, so make sure to call ahead of time. They also don't start serving chicken until dinner, so plan accordingly. For lunch, they exclusively serve bento boxes (I have yet to try them, but it's definitely on my list).Now to the chicken--the glorious crunchy chicken that is Peeps. The crunch is just absolutely insane. If you get sauce, definitely ask for it on the side so that your chicken doesn't get soggy. After the crunch comes the tender, juicy insides, so fresh and delicious. The texture of their chicken is an experience in and of itself. Their soy garlic sauce is perfection, and if you want a little bit of a kick, they have a couple of spicy options.You also MUST get their tteok kkochi (fried rice cake w/sausage skewers). The texture of the rice cakes is incredible. Crispy around the edges but super chewy and soft on the inside. The sausage is also always grilled perfectly, and the spicy sauce that comes on top is delectable. It's also a perfect snack to eat on the go! Peeps is just THE place for Korean fried chicken."
