"On freezing cold day, nothing beats a warm bowl ramen. I searched around where I was and found the Jin. It is situated on a relatively quiet section of the neighborhood. I could not find obvious sign out front but the clean, modern design of the entrance made it the 'obvious'. There are two kinds of ramen options - pork vs chicken. I chose the pork option. I also ordered a small fried chicken. When both came out, I was surprised by the size of the fried chicken. It's good for two people. The skin was crispy and the hot sauce was just right, spicy and tangy. The ramen was good but the stand out item in it was the poached egg. You have to try it. The only shortcomings of this place is single restroom. It's clean but looks like needing a renovation. Would be back in the summer and try out a few more items."
"AMAZING FOOD!! it's amazing how you can watch them make your delicious food on the grill. They make everything from scratch and fresh!! Which makes everything better. The service is great they're very attentive and patient. It's a nice old vibe in there such as back in the days. Your good ol local burger spot. The burgers were great, my grilled sandwich was superb I've never had it like this before! The wings were superb super spicy and tasteful"

"I'm not sure how I've never reviewed Turntable, as it's one of my age-old Ktown staples. When I don't feel like waiting in line for Soju Haus or Bangia, Turntable always pulls through with its fun speakeasy 5th floor vibes, crowd-pleasing snacks, and table availability.Although it can't compete with its sister restaurant on 33rd Street when it comes to peculiar names, LP Bar offers a much more intimate vibe than Turntable Chicken Jazz. My favorites on the menu are the kimchi pajeon, the tteokpokki, and the thick fries."
"Hate to do it but Ssam has fallen off drastically. They used to be a reasonable restaurant (decent food at decent prices) but we just ordered food and none of it came satisfactory. The Galbi Tang was bland and the radish was not cooked through. The Pajeon portion was a joke for $12.The Ddukbokki was ok at best. Sauce was a bit sweet. The Bulgogi Kimbap was obnoxiously wrapped with too much rice that exploded beyond the seaweed wrapping. I appreciate the one free rice they gave me but probably will not be going back sadly."
"Came for a quick bite and drink. Lots of games were played, the place was decently quiet until certain games were on and the crowd grew louder and larger. Service was great! Waitress was friendly and informative on alcoholic beverages and food choices. Definitely returning again!"
"Had a great experience here last night. The wings here were superb, I personally enjoy them well done and they did a fantastic job delivering on the request. Would definitely recommend the wings, the espresso martini ok also."
"I am happy to say that this place is still around and just realized it's been 10 years to the day today that I'm writing another review for them! (Yikes a long time for me, but so awesome that they've been around for so long!).I came here late night tonight on a dessert search after another place canceled my order after I arrived... My House to the rescue and, even better, they had a dessert my husband loves and we don't often get - a homemade magnolia banana cream pudding with nilla wafers and bananas! So delicious and I was also blessed to try the Dubai chocolate that they also have specially made for them :)The place has grown in the last 10 years and they have both an outdoor area as well as a back area for drinks and hookah. This evening they had a lovely firelogs background playing on the 2 TVs and it was a nice and cozy space for a date night or a chill spot with friends. The interior is clean and was nicely decorated for the holidays and the girls behind the counter were super sweet! I got a chance to see the owner again, whom I met way back when and it was so lovely speaking with him! My husband and I really enjoyed meeting him and seeing how much he cares. He really stands behind his products and today seeing him again, nothing has changed and I see why they're still going strong. I will definitely be back and recommendy House Burgers and Shakes! :)"
"This is the best pizza I've ever had. Been to NYC twice and have had the pleasure of enjoying this pizza twice! The entire experience was great. You will not be disappointed and if you are well I don't know what to tell ya. When I talk about the best pizza I've ever had it is hands down Ace's!Get some bread stick bites !! The atmosphere of this pizza place is perfect. Employees Pizza Experience from start to finish Go to NYC and make your way to Williamsburg and go to Ace's!!! Life is short, eat good pizza !!!"
"This is a fun spacious spot to hang out with groups of people and is located inside a basement. Service was good. In terms of food, I would recommend ordering their fried chicken, (very crispy and juicy), beef fried rice, or chicken teriyaki over rice. Their fruit lemonade is also sweet and refreshing to drink."
"Who doesn't love Korean Fried Chicken?! Feels like the only Korean Fried Chicken in the area.I usually order takeout from here but they do have a decent indoor dining space. Chicken is usually pretty good, however the last time I ordered it was a little dry. Wish there was a tad bit more sauce. Nonetheless great flavor!"
"More of a 3.5, the food doesn't blow you away but it's solid and the prices are pretty decent. The thing that makes this place a 4 is how much of a neighborhood place this feels like, nice guys behind the counter. You're not really going to go wrong."
"Stop in there for a bite before seeing shows at nearby Gold Sounds. Dive bar with good wings."

Was in the neighborhood and wanted to see who had the best burgers. Bonnie's pop up as on of the good ones in the area, so the family and I stopped in for a bite. It was very chill atmosphere the waitress was nice and sat us right away. Very chill vibe. Love a good diner vibe. The menu was short and to the point. In order the western burger and some wings. The burger was huge but it was really delicious, I was surprised I finished it all. I thought the wings were ok. I'm a wing fanatic so when I saw previous review hyping the wings in was sold. Flavor on the wings were good. Just wish they were fried a little bit more. But my experience here was great!

What can I say. I must be addicted to their tasty AF Korean fried chicken wings at this bar, both the spicy and soy garlic flavors. I'm compelled to return to gnaw on them wings again today on the late afternoon of the Presidential Election Day of 2024! Heck, I did vote, so I rightfully deserve some tasty wings, y'all!

It's Wing Wednesday at Kettle Black, which means 69cents wings! Of course it gets crowded as this is such a great deal. We waited for about 20 minutes at the bar before getting seated. I liked that you can get 6 wings of a different flavor, so we ended up with 24 wings in Jamo, Jack D, Grandpa Nunzio, and Ragin' Cajun. Once we put our order it, it didn't take too long for our wings to arrive on two platters. The wings are a good size with meat and sauce slathered all over. To be honest, I was never able to even figure out which flavor was the Jamo and Jack D because they're so similar, so just pick one of these next time for a whiskey-infused BBQ flavor. The concept is neat since my favorite is Jameson and my boyfriend's favorite is Jack Daniel's, but difficult to tell the difference. In terms of flavor, all the wings kind of infused and tasted quite similar.Overall, tasty wings and while the flavor itself is good, the variety of flavors blended together with similar notes. Nonetheless, still an amazing deal for their wing specials.

Excellent fresh burgers and quick delivery. The mushroom onion burger is so good. I added lettuce, tomatoes and garlic mayo, it took it to another level.Definitely recommend this burger joint if you're craving some good burgers, especially late.

How are we so spoiled to get this kind of incredible, top notch pizza?!? It's no longer a weekly pizza craving, it's an Ace's craving. This place is unreal. For dine-in you can get the perfect size personal pizza for $8. Affordable, delicious. I can't get enough!!

"I came to this country back in 2000, I don't know if they were open then. But I think in 2005 when I started eating from here. In 2024 there are hundreds of Halal place now in New York City . But back in 2005 this was the only place which was serving 100% halal food. I used to come from Staten Island , then from queens just to get some Chinese food ! And still after all this years when I am in Atlantic avenue I still get off from the train just to get some beef lo main for my son. Because that's the only place he likes lo main from. They are always extremely busy, sometimes they do mess up the order. But I am a loyal customer & because of their actions trying to feed us 100% halal food when no one wanted to, I will forgive small mistakes. Anyone who lived in New York City back then knows how much we all Muslims appreciated them! I will definitely try to take some pictures when I go next time."
"My friends and I came here on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy, but the bar is fairly large and there was room on the dance floor! The DJ was good; he mostly played remixes of 80s - 00s hits. Fun place to get a drink and dance; I'd definitely come back."
"We had the spicy soy garlic wings, noodles with bulgogi and more. Every dish was so full of flavor. Enjoyed our meal and the service as well."
"We stopped by The Munchies for takeout and lucked out - right after we ordered, a line stretched out the door! What We Ordered:Mix Platter (Chicken & Lamb): I'm not usually a fan of lamb, but their lamb was surprisingly delicious. The chicken was flavorful and tender!Wings (Buffalo & Lemon Pepper): The buffalo wings were spot on - perfectly crispy with just the right kick. The lemon pepper, however, didn't quite hit the mark for me. I'd probably skip that flavor next time.Everything we tried was tasty, and the quick service made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back for those buffalo wings and to try more from the menu!"
"Walking around Chinatown just souvenir shopping and stopped into Tada for lunch. Very cute restaurant/colorful with plenty seating. We ordered fried chicken it had options to be coated in various flavors. I'm unsure of the flavor that was picked but it was spicy/sweet/ amazing. The chicken is not little tiny wing pieces, the pieces are whole crispy drumsticks/wings.We also ordered shrimp fried rice which was also very delicious. With our meal came complimentary kimchi/salad very yummy. Great Lunch/Great Day in Chinatown ."
"Such a fun spot in NYC's Ktown! I love that they have something for everyone. We tried the twister potato, veggie japche, fried chicken and popcorn chicken, and the angry salmon roll! The sushi was delicious for it being such a small part of the menu. Would definitely come back."
"I really like the wings here but the burger is not acceptable. The slice of tomato still had the sticker on it and the patty is incredibly dry like cardboard. You can get better quality at McDonald's or Wendy's. Really disappointing for a $13-$14 burger and waste of a meal."
"Ordered via Uber Eats after watching Mr. Chimetime'sTikTok review. The food came quickly and the items were still hot. The wings were very flavorful and juicy but a little salty. However the oxtail empanada was my favorite! Would order from here again."
"Drinks were great. They have frozen henny sangria, margaritas, rum punch, and pina colada. The bartender service was great. Medium size establishment. Great atmosphere rustic decor."
"My favorite Korean fried chicken in all of NYC. First off, Peeps Kitchen is run by the sweetest couple ever. They are the friendliest, warmest people you'll ever meet. You can really tell that their food is a labor of love, and you'll taste it in every bite!Like all the other reviews mention, there's no seating, so make sure to call ahead of time. They also don't start serving chicken until dinner, so plan accordingly. For lunch, they exclusively serve bento boxes (I have yet to try them, but it's definitely on my list). Now to the chicken--the glorious crunchy chicken that is Peeps. The crunch is just absolutely insane. If you get sauce, definitely ask for it on the side so that your chicken doesn't get soggy. After the crunch comes the tender, juicy insides, so fresh and delicious. The texture of their chicken is an experience in and of itself. Their soy garlic sauce is perfection, and if you want a little bit of a kick, they have a couple of spicy options. You also MUST get their tteok kkochi (fried rice cake w/sausage skewers). The texture of the rice cakes is incredible. Crispy around the edges but super chewy and soft on the inside. The sausage is also always grilled perfectly, and the spicy sauce that comes on top is delectable. It's also a perfect snack to eat on the go! Peeps is just THE place for Korean fried chicken."
"I was in the area and was in the mood for Korean fried chicken. I pre-ordered on Yelp for pickup. I ordered the Soy garlic wings and they were delicious and crispy. They were a little bit on the salty side but I am somewhat sensitive to salt. They also include picked radish on the side. The service was super friendly and welcoming. There are several tables and seats if you want to sit inside as well as some outdoor seating if the weather is nice. I will definitely be back to try the other items."
"The best wings in Brooklyn!!! So many delicious flavors to choose from, staff is efficient and friendly. Prices are great, I usually get the hot wings/lemon pepper and garlic parmesan with curly fries."
"Best chicken sando in the area. Can't get enough of the pickled radish side - it's SO good."
"I wanted some soul food so badly tonight and no other places looked appetizing so I was hoping I hit my good luck charm by ordering from here because reviews were sketchy and I'm so glad I gave them a chance. I I ordered via Uber eats not realizing this location is an hour away from me. So a huge Thank You to my delivery driver for getting the food here during the expected time frame given. I ordered the rib dinner plate with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I ordered a side of potato salad, yams and strawberry cake. All of it was so delicious. The collard greens were a little spicy but I was able to eat it all. The macaroni and cheese was very flavorful and the ribs were decent. I could try a different meat next time because the ribs were small and a bit chewy portion for the $16 plate. The strawberry cake was sooooooo delicious. I'm sorry I had to emphasize that a little or maybe a lot? Ha! The yams and potato salad also a huge hit. I'll definitely order from here again. Prices are good and food is amazing."
"I really enjoyed my lunch here! You can tell everything is fresh and cooked to order. I got bbq chicken, broccoli and mashed potatoes. The waitress was also very sweet, the restaurant is also well kept and clean. I took 1 star off because they did not have macaroni and cheese but I did appreciate that they told us as soon as we walked in. This is not an area I frequent so I am not sure if I will be back but if I do come to the area I will definitely check it out!"
"Westbury Inn is a great place, located in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens that is not fancy, a basic neighborhood bar that a gem in a rapidly changing area that's becoming full of niche places. Westbury has a great wide open space (and backyard) that's conducive to watching sports as there are several TVs in the area. A strong Knicks contingent comes here to watch the games as well as follow the Jets and Giants. Drinks are moderately prices and served well by the bartenders. No fancy cocktails hete, but great drinks and a wide selection of beers. The food has recently been revamped and is excellent, served by Jess who quickly serves up tasty burgers, crispy chicken and great sides such as fries and tenders. It is a great compliment to the drink menu and one of the few places in the area where one can have a few drinks, eat some food, and watch the games without breaking the bank .Come visit early during the week (by 7PM) and take part in watching Jeopardy as well!"
"I would consider this fast casual, and within that class I would rate it a 4.We got the bulgogi bowl and the soy garlic wings with fries. Oh yeah and a couple of lychee martinis. The bowl was good, but had I known they had regular japchae I would've preferred that. The bulgogi was a bit sweet for my personal taste, but it was otherwise seasoned well and cooked just right. And the proportion to other ingredients in the bowl was on the mark. The chicken and fries were good, but not so distinctively superior to any other Korean fried chicken in the city. Most notable was the service. We basically had 20 minutes to dine and drink because we were in a rush. We let the host and server know up front and they got us taken care of. And they were so sweet. And they gave us a bonus bowl of fresh popcorn. Thanks for the kind treatment!"
"Amazing wings for affordable price. We got the 10 piece wings to share for two people as well as a chop sandwich. It was my first time trying a chop sandwich and now I'm hooked! The place from what I remember was quite small and not sufficient seating. I highly suggest just getting a takeout order!"
"My first bite of the fries had me wondering what I got myself into . It was super crispy but that was about the only positive about the fries. I felt it wasn't fresh and I couldn't detect any sorta potato flavor from it . Aside from their sub par fries, the burger was slapping . This was the best seasoned burger I've ever had . Quite frankly I have never noticed a burger patty seasoned with other seasonings besides salt in the U.S. before today . The seasonings are pronounced in a good way on this burgerBut in any case , the meat was also moist and the sauce really complimented the overall burger and even the American cheese stood out in all the complex flavors and created a beautiful balance . Their Cajun chicken sandwich also was delicious and again well seasoned . This is leagues better than a shake shack and five guys and is similarly priced and is conveniently near Barclays ."
"Dinner with the family and The Grotto BK did not disappoint! We started with drinks and then the ackee tostones along with the Octail spring rolls were delicious. And then we moved to the main event of dinner which brought on Oxtails with rice and peas with fried plantain, crab stuff shrimp, steam veg and fried plantain and a rather tasty baked Mac and cheese with oxtails..... Yes we love oxtails very much. All in all we loved the entire experience and the service was amazing."
"Pros: Food came fairly quick. The place was spotless, very clean. Cons: I ordered the Japchae with bulgogi. This is a dish I love and have gotten many places. Often it comes with different sauces, and has cooked spinach and other veggies. Lim's Kitchen version was not super tasty, I was a bit disappointed. Not enough taste or sauce, no grilled flavor, no spinach, not enough veggies. Noodles were cooked correctly though, not tough or too soft. The dish needs some flavor & texture."
"While in the area for an event I was looking for food. I parked outside of this place and was hoping they'd still be open when I left my event. At 9:00 when everything else was closing they were still open and happy to serve me.The coin purses at this place being sold are nuts and funny. If you like Asian toys and knick knacks and you are in the area you might want to pop in and look. I figured I would just sit in my car even though there is seating inside and eat my food. I grabbed a fry and it was really like what I needed. It was not just some bland strugglish potato. It was a salty fried tasty gift from the heavens. If they taste this great sober, those of you who are drinking will probably appreciate them.Though I wanted fish, I decided to get wings. There were plenty of sauce options but I decided to just go with medium sauce. I ordered a soda and the nice woman who helped me made sure that I didn't walk out without it. She also asked me if I wanted some of those crazy coin purses and I decided to buy two for $5.Overall I think I spent $19. I got six buffalo wings fries and a soda for 13 something. I got two coin purses for $5. The wings were tasty but the fries were so good but I just focused on them like a guy would focus on someone's friend because he's a douchebag.I definitely did not expect to have this kind of good experience at this place and I am happy that I stopped in."
"My group of 6 came here after walking around the Christmas house decorations in Dyker Heights and the name of this place was no lie. This place was fire. Service was incredible and the food was better. We ordered a large plate of 1/2 Lamb and 1/2 chicken as our entree, an order of the meat sambusa, and an order of fries. The sambusa and fries came first which we ate with the 3 incredible house made sauces. The sambusa was crunchy on the outside and filled with a delicious well seasoned meat on the inside. That paired with the green sauce was delicious. The fries were also great although in the future I'll try either the lentil soup or the Kurma.Lastly the plate, again, was fire. The chicken and lamb were very flavorful and tender, which was a joy to eat. Served on a bed of rice and a salad, it all paired so well together with the juiciness of the meat, the crunch of the salad, and the rice. It all came together for an incredible flavor mixture which was even further expanded upon with the sauces available. Each adding a novel and delicious combination.I'll be back!"
