"Lunch specials all day! We got the chicken breast + 2 sides + sauce + purbird bread. I had to get the purbird brownie too. The chicken is THE BEST here, can't go wrong. The garlic broccoli is pretty tasty as well. Their mashed potatoes aren't my favorite as they are pretty starchy and watery but the portion is generous. Definitely a consistent place for some delicious juicy roasted chicken."
"Rowdy Rooster!.This Rowdy Rooster just smacked this white boy with a whole lot of spice and flavor. After seeing this spot all over insta and seeing a line all the time. I happened to pass by today with only 1 person in line so I decided to go in..It's a small fast casual spot with 3 tables. Mostly geared towards take out. The have a few sandwich and bowl options for a small menu..The food here surpassed my expectations. The flavor profile and combination of flavors is so good. I got the big rowdy sandwich and Marsala fries. Sand which kicks I also got the middle spicy option and wow I was seating prob pretty mild for those who can handle spice. The fries are made like cottage fries so they are round. I also got the hot tomato sauce on the side which was really good!.In short:- Small fast casual spot only 3 tables- Really good food, gotta get those fries!- I'll be back"

"Food is always fresh. The jerk chicken is SO GOOD!! Festival hits the spot every time. It's a very small space, so pack your patience. There may be a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. Also, bring your bills. It's CASH ONLY!!"
"I love Brine! I keep forgetting about it because it's not on my usual evening restaurant circuit. They have the BEST chicken! I love spicy food so I get their hottest version and their spiciest fries...YUM! It's great for lunch. My only problem is that you have to enter your order on a touch screen and I always make a mistake. I'm probably just not computer savvy enough."
"If you're looking for a good bbq meats spot, look no further. Hay hay has a good selection of meats from roast duck, scallion chicken, roast pig, roast pork, cuttlefish, and the list goes on.When coming in for lunch, expect a long line. I often call ahead to place the order so I can walk right in to grab my food. There is counter seating inside if you're looking to sit down for a quick bite.My go-to is the two meats with roast duck and roast pig on rice noodles over soup. Their soup broth is so rich and tasty, really hits the spot on a cold winter day. Their beef brisket with daikon over rice is also really good. Be sure to pair your meal with one of their cold HK milk teas in a bag!Cash only! Unless you place an order for pick up through Uber eats."
"Came in for a quick lunch and got the half chicken with 2 sides for $13.50. Such a solid, filling meal!! I got the mac and plantains as my side, both were perfection. I thought the chicken was delicious and the green sauce went so well with everything - not a single bad bite at all. Also liked how the green sauce has a little kick to it! My only thing - wished I got more than just 2 plantains! I'm definitely coming back when I'm in the area."
"Food is good. Service is like those places where you need a owner to be around at all times."
"*This review is based on an Uber Eats Order* Delivery- 5/5 Although you order through Uber Eats, someone from Lula Bird will deliver your order. They will text you from their system to let you know the order has been received. You also get text updates when the driver is on the way and have the option to track your delivery on a map.Food- 5/5 Someone recommended this place to me and I tried it awhile back. So happy I randomly decided to order from them again tonight! I ordered the half chicken and short ribs combos. Each order came with a piece of cornbread, two sides and a dipping sauce. For sides I got quinoa, roasted potatoes , butternut squash (Saturday Special) and the Black Beans and Kale (Saturday Special). Everything was delicious. The chicken was moist, nicely seasoned and had a nice crispy skin. The short rib was tender and wasn't fatty. Once you add the spicy green dipping sauce, your mouth will do a happy dance. The quinoa and black beans w/ kale were my favorite sides. Some of their sides rotate throughout the week so be mindful of that when you are ordering. They do a good job at indicating which sides are available on which day on Uber Eats. I'm not a fan of everyone's cornbread but this one is good and has whole corn inside! My cornbread was a little overcooked for my liking but other than that I have no complaints. If you're looking for a healthier option to try when ordering out I would recommend checking them out. Adding to my list of places to try in person."
"One of my favorite cheap eats in Manhattan. I cannot explain how much I love this place. You go up to the counter to order and the food is ready within 5 minutes and served directly to your small table. And even though the restaurant itself is tiny, there always seems to be an open seat as people eat and leave very quickly.I ordered the Fried Chicken Rice and it was delicious!! Although there isn't a lot of chicken, the fried bits are fried to perfection as it isn't too oily and full of flavor. I especially liked dipping it into the sour and spicy sauce which elevated the chicken. The rice is also to die for as it is seeped with chicken broth, you can just eat this alone without anything else. Also, the soup is incredible as I love how much white pepper they put into the broth, the flavors are so incredibly intense.I love ME Chicken Rice. Probably top 10 favorite eats in NYC!"
"REALLY loved Namkeen! Fried chicken, Nashville heat, and Pakistani flavors! Wow! What a combo! I really liked all the different fun ways they use the fried chicken. I'm a spice girl and I love that they have a variety of spice levels. All the staff were super sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. I like the open view of the kitchen and serving are. Even with the very busy night they were having, I noticed the kitchen and serving area was still very well kept. I took my order to go and even after a 45 minute drive home, the food was still really fresh and so good!I was so torn between what to choose, so I ordered a few different items.-Clucking Waffle Sandwich (hot-blaow spice level). I don't even like waffles but when I saw it was jalapeño & cheddar?? Umm SOLD! This is easily a 10/10 item! The portion is huge! I was stuffed with just half of it. I LOVE spice so the heat level was easily manageable for me but it definitely has a kick. I had 3 other people try it and they all were dying and running for water. The pickles, coleslaw, and aioli complimented it very well.- Masala fries. I wasn't really impressed with this. It was just regular fries with extra salty seasoning. 3/5-Oreo Cookies & Cream milkshake: thick and creamy and not overly sweet. 5/5-Chicken Tikka Mac & Cheese. Again, another really huge serving. Was not able to eat more than a bite after the half of waffle sandwich. I give this a solid 4/5. The mac & cheese was nice and creamy and the chicken added a nice crunch to it but the tikka sauce was very rich and a tad overpowering.-Nashville Sandwich (medium- knees weak heat level). Again, really filling and the pickles, coleslaw, and aioli complimented it very well. Easy 5/5. I also wanted to purchase the flavored sodas but I forgot and the line was way too long to go back lol next time for sure! Will CERTAINLY be back to try some more items."
"I love coming here for a quick pick me up! The pink milk always hits. It's $3.95 if you pay with cash."
"Visited Frangos Peri Peri for dinner with a friend on Wednesday evening. I was super excited to try this place as it seemed like an equivalent to Nando's, and I was not disappointed! We ordered the meal for two which came with 1/2 chicken, 5 wings, and 2 sides. We opted for the lemon & herb spice for our 1/2 chicken, mango & lime spice for the wings, and garlic bread & spiced fries for our sides. It was the perfect amount of food for a great price, and everything was absolutely delicious! The servers were also attentive and friendly -- everything about the experience here was great. Will definitely be back!"

I hadn't been here for a while and the chicken thighs were just as good as I remembered. I don't know what their secret is but I've never had such good chicken! Seriously! I got a mustard sauce and a chipotle sauce. Two orders of thighs to go and I wish I'd gotten 3. Don't sleep on this place. Takeout is a good option. I'm sure the rest of the menu is great also.

Tried the Big Rowdy with medium spice, which was the perfect level for me. Flavors on the chicken and sauces were delicious! Freshly fried chicken too. Only knocking a star for the bun, which tasted kind of stale. If they get a better bun for the sandwich, I think it would be pretty perfect! Good, fair price too at $12.

Straight hole in the wall Jamaican take out spot. The place was run down and in dire need of a complete makeover. Looked a bit on the dirty side but that's just from the waiting,/ordering area. Maybe the kitchen is very clean. The lady that took orders was pleasant. The prices here are real decent. $10-14 bucks for a plate of food. Decent portions. The food was solid.

When my dinner plans were canceled I took advantage of the opportunity to eat a quiet meal alone and chose to procure said meal at Brine. One of my favorite dinners has always been chicken accompanied by tasty sides. On this front, Brine delivered. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy and the broccoli was delicious. Sadly, the sweet potato was a letdown. For a quick service, fuss-free meal with plenty of protein, fiber, and taste, Brine is hard to beat.

They were open on MLK holiday. A lot of places were closed that day. Staffs are friendly. They speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. However, they only accept cash. They have roast meat. I ordered crispy pork. They ask how you like your meat: either lean or fatty. I usually go with half & half. They have seats, you can enjoy your meal inside. When you dine in, return the trays in the back.Food: 4/5Service: 4/5Ambience: 4/5

Great food. I've been here multiple times and the food and coffe is always perfect. There aren't a lot of seats but what it lacks in seats it makes up in flavor and good staff.

Look, I'm old. How was I supposed to recall that I ordered from Curry Heights 13 years ago, and really didn't like it?Well, I'm glad I didn't, because we just ordered delivery and it was far better than I remembered. I can't tell you about what this place looks like (maybe it's gorgeous inside), but I can tell you that the delivery was quick, and as far as the food: The Manchurian cauliflower was deeply delicious, and had plenty of heat. The ka-chori chaat was literally the most I've ever liked chickpeas. There was plenty of texture and flavor and brightness to contrast the rich and hot rogan josh curry. I prefer the latter over the tikka masala we obviously ordered, and that sauce was not as thin and flavorless as I'd remembered, but quite tasty! The meat samosas and the naan were well done. Also, they have french fries. Nothing makes my kids happy as much as traditional Indian french fries. Overall, an excellent Indian delivery experience. The only downside was that the meats (both the chicken in the tikka masala, and the beef in the rogan josh) were a bit dry. (Also, they have beef? I've only seen this in Indian spots in Texas, where I assume it's the law that they have to have beef available at all times, in all restaurants. It was pretty chewy here though, and I wouldn't order it again. Lamb next time, as it should be. I was just curious.)

6oz short rib was VERY satisfying. Probably more than 6oz but I left my scale at home. This was braised perfectly in a beautiful complex broth which was peppery but not overpoweringly so along with bay leaf and maybe onions and garlic. The stew veggies on the side were unexpected and succulent.THE CORN BREAD! Worth coming HERE for THAT alone. Crispy crunchy moist crust with plenty of real kernels of corn. Nice and dense, is it a cake? Is it bread? Who cares...?!! It's scrumptious!!Collard Greens were on point. The right combination of vinegar and some fatback in EVERY FORKFUL. I drank the juice.Quinoa salad nicely done if you're looking for a healthy side.I'd come to Brooklyn from Westchester for this meal again. Some places just GET IT RIGHT.Also, I was injured and needed to eat something and the very caring woman who answered the phone, brought it out to my car.If you like the real deal, COME HERE.

"I don't even know how to compose this review about Peppa's. Like fuh real FR! I have mixed feelings but I ain't here for all of that so let's get into the real meat. Yeah, daiz ah big fat, juicy pun.Their food is really good. I enjoy it. A LOT! I could eat it every day (except the rolls on my sides aren't feeling that typa vibe). Customer service IN MY EXPERIENCE 2.5/5Cleanliness 5/5Ease of order 4/5Special order, (for instance you don't want your oxtail mixed with your macaroni salad) 0/5. Food great! 5/5Like I said, my rolls have started complaining because I've been here numerous times even without checking into Yelp BUT, I'm trying to stay away. However, If you're in the mood for good, affordable, Caribbean food you should definitely give them a try. Tell ya personal trainer I said "HEY".The end."
"After reading about it, we tried it while in NYC, the price was good $20 for a large size chicken mix, the poached and roasted chicken were good rice not as fragrant and the chili didnt have a garlic punch or too spicy like the other place."
"Best chicken sando in the area. Can't get enough of the pickled radish side - it's SO good."
"I was looking to order something semi healthy for dinner and came across this place & spoiler alert: it's surprisingly great! I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter which came with a great portion of protein, Greek salad, yellow rice, & pita. The chicken was seasoned and grilled to perfection which made up for the underwhelming and relatively bland sides. I was looking forward to trying their tzatziki, but they didn't include it. I also ordered a small lamb chop ($5) on the side and it was really really good - perfectly cooked and juicy. Their strengths are definitely their meats."
"One of my favorite little places when you are craving some good whitening fish, you must stop here!! The Blvd. always puts there foot in there cooking!! I love the fact that when you order the fish it's made to order so it's never just sitting there, it's always crispy and fresh!! The flavors of the fish is simply juicy and flavored to perfection!! My favorite side I typically get is the collard greens!! Which just by itself you can get full off of!! The macaroni and cheese is good as well.. If your craving some soul food/ comfort food this is a must try spot!!"
"We popped in on a Thursday for Happy Hour. There were a few patrons and the music was GREAT. The bartender was very attentive and made an amazing drink called the Pineapple Drop. It was a perfect drink for a summer evening. We also got some firecracker shrimp from the happy hour menu which were crispy and tangy.Well worth a visit."
"My first bite of the fries had me wondering what I got myself into . It was super crispy but that was about the only positive about the fries. I felt it wasn't fresh and I couldn't detect any sorta potato flavor from it . Aside from their sub par fries, the burger was slapping . This was the best seasoned burger I've ever had . Quite frankly I have never noticed a burger patty seasoned with other seasonings besides salt in the U.S. before today . The seasonings are pronounced in a good way on this burgerBut in any case , the meat was also moist and the sauce really complimented the overall burger and even the American cheese stood out in all the complex flavors and created a beautiful balance . Their Cajun chicken sandwich also was delicious and again well seasoned . This is leagues better than a shake shack and five guys and is similarly priced and is conveniently near Barclays ."
"The food, service and ambiance were all amazing. My family and I were visiting Brooklyn for the holidays from California. We saw their interview on YouTube and my son made us go there for dinner. We were so glad we did. The food was amazing!!!! Real soul food and good home cooking. Everything' was seasoned well and tasted so good. We ordered the following:Chicken & Waffle, Catfish & Shrimp Combo, Shrimp Poboy, Whiting & Shrimp Combo and Shrimp Combo. Can't wait to visit Brooklyn again if for no other reason then, to eat at GG's."
"One of my pet peeves is when a place gives you a time to pick up ur food and when you get there it's not close to ready. Yesterday afternoon we ordered quite a bit of food, 2 whole chicken combos (a whole chicken, rice and beans, fries w hot dogs "salchipapas", maduros ) an order of mussels and a steak. When we placed the order we were told 20 min. We showed up in 20 min and were met w looks of confusion. Then a younger guy came out of the back and said "I'm sorry it's going to be about 20 min". I don't complain when it comes to food bc I don't need any extra seasoning on my food (spit, hair etc). After about 20 min or so the food came out. Now just to make mention, our bill was almost $200, we were pleasant with waiting. We went outside and chilled out. In my eyes they should have thrown us something for free. Maybe an appetizer or $10 of the bill. Just to say "sorry and thank you". But they didn't. The food was all delicious and 5 stars. I couldn't eat enough of it. The chicken was juicy and tender, the mussels were great and the rice and beans were perfect. None of my complaints were about the food, strictly the service was my issue."
"Cozy place for chicken pho! I ordered half a chicken and a bowl of rice noodles. The chicken was incredibly tender and the broth for the chicken pho was hearty. I nearly drank all the broth and didn't even leave a bite of chicken. It was a great price for fantastic chicken pho.The portions for the half chicken was very generous. The accompanied tangy and salty sauce paired well with the chicken. There was also a sweet chili sauce that wasn't overbearingingly sweet like other sweet chili sauces. They also include gizzard and liver! Some places give the blood as well but not this place.I definitely recommend this place for a no frills and simple chicken pho. The workers were very kind. I definitely plan to come again to try the other items in their menu."
"I recently passed the restaurant on one of my walks then saw it on TikTok and decided to try it out. Of course because of all the attraction from TikTok they ran out of chicken tenders despite being a few doors down from a grocery store.I wanted the Crazy N Love Chicken tenders since they were out of chicken tenders the cashier suggested I get the Crazy N Locv Chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was not bad. I would say a 7.5/10. The fries were terrible. I got classic with lemon pepper. There was no lemon pepper on the fries and when you bit into them the potato in the middle wasn't soft. It wasn't hard either. I can't place my finger on what was wrong but would definitely not get fries again. They're still new so I'll give them some time to work out the kinks before returning."
"stopped by this spot on a whim and wow I was impressed! Sandwiches are made fresh and are delicious - perfectly crispy and filling. It's a cute little shop and the workers are super sweet."
"First of all the Staff was sooo sweet and kind Food was good especially the stream classic chicken was very very juicy And Fried chicken skin was so crispy would be the best with some seasoning Fried pork over rice can be better ginger sauce should be more intense to be more authenticity but I understand because of the location too I think But highly recommended because services is very friendly definitely will be back"
"It's Pecking and not Peking, and, it's Henry and not Hester street, so do not get the search results twisted. The chicken was delicious and bursting with flavor. I plan to go back to try everything on the menu. The location is off the beaten path for me so this establishment allows me to venture off and try something new with homage to their chicken being off the beaten track."
"BEST CHINESE SPOT EVER!!!!!!I'm so happy I found this spot they are the best! They cook clean and season all their foood I've never been so amazed with asian food like this!! The plates are always packed up well eith food, always adding sauces to my order and affordable prices! The delivery drivers are very nice as well! They deserve a 10 star rating!!! Love them!"
"Nice grand opening! They still had free sliders when I got there! This place is a small eatery with some really good chicken. The slider was amazing very flavorful and had a nice kick. The coleslaw is not too sweet and the pickle was very good. The lemon pepper wings were amazing!! Not too salty like other shops. The service was very good and prompt. The woman who took my order was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She even asked if I wanted my sandwiches separated for travel! Bonus points from me. Check them out and show them some love."
"I have been going to this Fisherman's Cove location since their grand opening a few years back. When it first opened I was in here every other week. Sometimes twice a week. I used to always order the small curry goat, oxtail or of course jerk chicken. The curry goat has plenty spice and I mean plenty while the sauces for the jerk chicken are beyond my level of spice so add sparingly if you like spicy but don't want it to overpower the flavor of your food. Overall, I have not been here in a while until the other day but I must say I enjoyed my small jerk chicken by itself with a little jerk and barbecue sauce added. I did not get a meal because I wasn't in the mood for the extras. Until next time."
"Now hold up. Where did this chicken franchise come from lol? I love me some soy garlic (Korean) chicken. We know of Bon chon and a spot that I like Wooga in nyc of course. But man, this chicken right here was soooo good. I definitely couldn't stop eating them and wanted more. They are nice and crispy and the sauce is definitely on them the way I like. Every part of the chicken coated. The shrimp was also good and fresh I also had their fries and it's good as well. If you get the sugar on top of the fries be ready it's quite overbearing. The customer service was great, I was standing outside and he brought my order to me. Definitely on point 10/10.Inside is small but clean and welcoming. I'm telling you chicken is really good that i went back the next day lol. I will be back.."
"Chicken Feastin where have you been all my life? Was looking for a new spot to place lunch order and the name caught the eye. First time I had the Chicken and Ribs combo. The chicken was juicy and had a nice char on it. The ribs were tender and flavorful. Had Dolmades as my side and while the flavor was on point they were a bit too soft for me. Second time I got the Lamb Gyro platter and they really dont skrimp on the meat. Nicely seasond strips of meat over very solid yellow rice and a great Greek salad. For the price this is a substantial amount of food. The menu is quite varied with Greek dishes, chicken dishes, burgers etc so something for everyone for such a hole in the wall storefront. Delivery is done by them and is fast. They have earned a spot on our lunch rotation."
"We tried the jerk chicken while we were watching the Pride Parade and was blown away by how good it was! So we decided to go back to try their other food items for lunch and we were just as pleased with our other food choices. My husband tried the jerk pork, my daughter had the curry goat and I had the oxtail stew. The meals comes with 2 sides and you get to chose from a variety of sides including different types of veggies. I was surprised how much I liked the curry goat given I'm not a big goat fan because of their gamey taste but I didn't get any of that from the dish. The oxtail was a bit dry but the flavor was really nice. The jerk pork was also very flavorful but I think I liked the chicken better. They have these juice drinks that are super yummy! Definitely try it. The staff is very friendly and nice. It's a pretty small shop with only a few tables so not good for groups more than 3-4 people. A nice addition to Park Slope for sure and I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu."
"This is the new chicken spot from the Black Tap team, that is as good as Black Tap was when Black Tap first opened, so definitely go now for some great chicken tenders. The fries and sandwiches are excellent too, so this is a perfect place for a quick meal of higher quality fried chicken."
"We ordered via Seamless on a week night. We have all been under the weather and cooking was out of the question. It was nice to have a nearby option that had great reviews. Our neighbors had great things to say so we decided to give them a try. We ordered a classic whole fried chicken with french fries. The delivery was timely however, the chicken was nothing to write home about. it was OK. The chicken and fries tasted like it was fried in old oil. It could have been an off day so I will revisit."
"This restaurant has the best food. Excuse the salt that was all my doing. I also enjoy the shrimp burgers this restaurant has. The staff is really friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I am hoping this restaurant expands and opens more locations."
