Simple small hole in the wall shop. Chinatown prices in flatiron with solid flavor. My noodles were ready in 5 minutes and was piping hot. Cold dishes and dumplings looks fabulous as well so will need to swing back and try more items!

Quick and easy lunch spot! Quite literally a hole in the wall, so don't expect much in terms of ambience or comfort. Luckily one of the two tables outside were empty, so that's where we sat for the full 25-minute duration of our meal.Ordered a spicy chicken dry noodle bowl & cucumber salad. Cucumbers were crunchy and fresh -- a perfect companion to the noods, which were spicy as advertised. Never in my life have I had noodles so... buoyant? Almost borderline crunchy. Verdict's out on if I'd get that type again, but it was good to try. Bok choy, chicken bits, and peanuts were lighter in quantity but spruced up the flavor.

Cheaper and easy last minute lunch or dinner option! Seems more like a to go situation but always hits the spot. You can ask for less spice - they can adjust as needed!

What a gem in the gramercy area! This is such a great spot for a comfort meal of warm spicy noodles and wontons. I've come here several times and every time I forget just how good it is. I always get the beef noodle soup ($11.99) and the wontons in chili oil ($9.99). First of all, the noodle soup is so flavorful and has the numbing spice I love. The noodles soak up so much of the broth so every bite tastes amazing. The beef is also super tender and is generously portioned. You can also never go wrong with the wontons and the price of Burp Bowl is truly unmatched. This place is pretty small so I would be prepared for takeout or to eat individually at the restaurant. I've done takeout and it holds very well. It's just not ideal for groups

Our favorite cheap eat in the city soooo yum. Their cold noodles are incredible, great bite to the noodles and an even more amazing sauce. Their beef noodle soup is delicious as well. This is a casual spot where your order at the register and pay before grabbing a seat for a quick bite. Seating is limited (~8 or so in total) and the restaurant is rather cramped. Am sure the food will be just as good if you ordered takeout!

Came here on a Saturday night and ordered to go. The restaurant is very small, very much the definition of hole in the wall. There's ~2 tables inside and 2 tables outside, and you sit yourself. On one one of the tables there were open containers of cooked beef in chili oil, which made me concerned about the food quality/sanitation. It seemed directed towards takeout or delivery orders. I ordered the spicy dry mixed beef egg noodle and the chili wonton to share. The food took about 15 minutes and while we waited, the fumes of the spice made me cough. I also heard them use the microwave for something, not sure for what though. The noodles had a decent amount of beef, bok choi, cilantro, and peanuts in a chili sauce. They also added hot chili oil/chili chrisp, which was a nice touch. The noodles were different from traditional noodles, being more snappy than chewy. The wontons were also good, with a thin wrapper and well seasoned filling. It was ~$30 for 2 noodles and the wontons, which is a pretty good deal. Overall, this was a good restaurant but the food out in the open and the microwaved appetizer made me slightly uneasy.

Indeed a hole in the spot! Their beef noodle soup with rice noodles is absolutely delicious. The broth is more on the lighter end and you cant really taste the beef in it. Their chili oil is what gives it its spice and flavor. The beef is so tender and literally melts into your mouth, I absolutely recommend this dish. You can also get this with the yellow egg noodles, but I think the rice noodles are a better fit. 5/5I also tried the chicken gizzards for the first time. Would recommend sharing with someone else as it it a lot to eat on top of a noodle soup. The taste was different from I expected, much more chewier. 4/5
