Place was fairly busy when I arrived for my 8pm reservation. Sat at one of the high tops near the bar area. The service was great. Few guys took care of my table and I got my water and beer quickly. The small candles at each table with slightly dim lights created a cozy ambiance. The simple menu offered about a dozen of different style pizza, half a dozen of pasta dishes and few salads and appetizers. They also offer daily selection of deserts. I had pizza margarita here before which was delicious but this time decided to try funghie cippolle pizza. It included shiitake mushrooms, goat cheese and caramelize onions as the toppings and was glazed with honey. There was a smell coming from the basement where the bathrooms were. Hope they can fix whatever is broken quickly cause the smell near the opening to the basement did knocked my socks off

One of those days, just strolling through Manhattan, one decides to enjoy an excellent brick oven pizza. I had one of those days, and I chose Brunetti Pizza. Brunetti Pizza is in the west village within walking distance from the 14th Street station. Brunett has a beautiful rustic feel, which goes nicely with an afternoon or evening of delicious brick oven pizza. During this putting, I enjoyed a delightful sausage pizza. My only issue with my pizza was that I wished it backed up a bit more, but overall, I enjoyed it very much.

My bestie and I were bar hopping in the west village and after a copious amount of drinks, sustenance was needed. We decided on pizza but didn't want the usual cheap $1+ slice. A quick yelp search landed us on Brunetti Pizza. It was almost full on a Friday night, bustling with patrons. A fun romantic vibe, dimly lit. Brick oven behind the bar so you could see the pizza being made. Quaint, wooden tables, no tablecloth's but glassware. Service was excellent. We were greeted and sat quickly. Glass jug with tap water was placed on the table. We drank enough alcohol, so water was definitely the go to. I wanted margarita, my bestie wanted pepperoni. So we decided on a margarita pizza with pepperoni and added truffle honey for a little razzle dazzle. The pizza was exceptional. It came out fairly quickly and was hot. Nice char bits on the crust with the lovable NY style thickness/thinness (depending on how you define it). The truffle honey added a beautiful touch of earthy sweetness and the pepperoni was great quality and had a hint of heat, spice heat. The basil aspect was a little non existent. But it didn't need any added garlic or red pepper flakes you might add to the typical pizza slice. My only complaint was for the price it was like a personal pizza. Cut in 4 slices. Had we known we would have ordered two. We ate the it in record time. When the waiter returned we asked about ordering another. Alas the kitchen was closed. We paid and left as quickly as we came. The pizza was around $30 before tip. I would definitely drop in again if I'm in the area.

Make a reservation!!! It was good but the service was sooooo slow. They kept forgetting appetizers or refills. It's very small and the calamari was good, a little spicy but my chicken parm was a little burnt.

This adorable cozy spot in the village is your next go-to for top knotch pizza. The quality is absolutely incredible. I order the Margherita Piu and sub the Buffalo mozzarella for burrata and it is out of this world. All the ingredients are so fresh, there's so much flavor and the bread is really doughy with the classic Italian black marks on the crust. Also check out their non pizza items. Vodka sauce pasta is incredible, super creamy and great flavor. The chicken parm has a great crisp to it as well and just absolutely amazing. Really really great service. They're very attentive and take care of

Cute ambiance but overpriced food. The quality of our pizza with meatballs was lackluster. It had no flavor. It was an expensive pizza for what we received. Disappointing experience. Won't be back.

Stopped in for a snack late afternoon -- great local (NYC) IPAs, Cacio e Pepe puffs and meatballs. Everything was delicious -- could have been a little hotter in temperature, but still delicious nonetheless.

Disappointing experience for several reasons:1) I asked my waiter for another draft beer as I was reaching the bottom of my pint, which is obviously very standard as to keep the drinks flowing in terms of getting done with the current pint as they bring the new pint. I dine out a lot and I've NEVER experienced a waiter reply to my simple request by saying they want to refill up my current pint glass as to not use another glass. Seriously?! Am I at a restaurant or someone's house? I still had a bit of beer left in my glass! So it was just awkward like ok um never mind, I don't want you to take my glass to refill it while I still have overpriced beer that I paid for in it but why don't you come back after several minutes past when I finish drinking it to finally refill it for me as to not use another precious pint glass. SMH! This needs to be fixed ASAP. The owner needs to tell all waiters this isn't acceptable unless they want to continue to lose out on revenue by increasing the turn time for high margin drinks.2) I thought my pizza was a pretty burnt around the edges. I'm talking about complete black in some places. Lighten up!3) It was constantly cold in there because they don't have a barrier door from the brutal cold. They need to install a makeshift outer door that people enter first before the second door that's actually attached to the building like many other restaurants in NYC do. The absence of the initial door resulted in a big draft of freezing air coming into the small restaurant every time someone entered, contributing to the poor experience my party & I had. Please fix.

I recently ordered the Pizza Americana and the San Gennaro Pizza from Brunetti Pizza. I have attached pictures of the Pizza Americana and the San Gennaro pizzas as advertised, and as they were delivered to me. Mr. Charles Entertainment Cheese would have been disappointed in these pizzas. The Pizza Americana is advertised as having pepperoni, shishito peppers, red onions, and mozzarella. I received undercooked dough with raw red onion, what I assumed were orange shishito peppers, and something that looked like fried salami. I would give this pizza 2 stars. Unfortunately, the Pizza Americana was the far superior pizza. The San Gennaro Pizza is advertised as having sweet sausage, caramelized onions, roasted red and yellow peppers, ricotta, and San Marzano tomato sauce. The problem with the pizza I received is that it had NO TOMATO SAUCE. That was especially strange considering (1) it was a pizza and (2) the menu specifically said the San Gennaro pizza had tomato sauce -- a special tomato sauce, no less. I like to think the conversation about my pizza order between the chef who made my pizza and another Brunetti Pizza employee went something like this:Employee: "One San Gennaro and one Americana."Chef: "Oh, the San Gennaro pizza. That's a good one."Employee: "That's the one with the special tomato sauce on it, right?"Chef: "Oh, big time. We even advertise the special tomato sauce right on the menu!"Employee: "That's great. I bet it would be pretty dry if it didn't have tomato sauce."Chef: "Oh, super dry. That's why we put the special tomato sauce on it."Employee: "Wow. That sauce must be really good."Chef: "It is. I'll let you know when it's ready."30 minutes passChef: "San Gennaro up."Employee: "Nice...Wait, there's no tomato sauce on this."Chef: "Yea, I know."Employee: "Did they ask for no tomato sauce?"Chef: "No."Employee: "Oh. Well, it has already taken a while and we need to get this out....Maybe the customer won't notice there's no tomato sauce on this pizza!"Narrator: I noticed. Fortunately for Brunetti Pizza and unfortunately for me, the pizza took twice as long as it was supposed to to be delivered, so I ate a slice rather than calling and waiting another hour for a new pizza to be made and delivered. Turns out the employee was right -- it was dry without sauce!

Nice pizza - good service! The garlic bread was also really good. I do wish they had more of the appetizers available the day we went - but would go back to try some of them!
