I decided to order from Brooklyn Bread Cafe via Uber Eats because of their creative breakfast sandwiches, but unfortunately, it was underwhelming and disappointing.First, when placing my order, I received a message that the restaurant--not an Uber Eats driver--would be delivering it. I'm not sure why, but that's how it was.I ordered the "Bushwick" sandwich, which included scrambled eggs (completely unseasoned--no salt or pepper), smashed avocado, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, and sriracha mayo on a cinnamon raisin bagel. I also got an Arnold Palmer, a cheese Danish, and a hash brown. When my order arrived, half of my drink had spilled into the bag because it wasn't placed upright. That was immediately frustrating. On top of that, they didn't include a straw or cutlery, even though I selected that option when ordering. Since I wasn't home, I had no way to get a straw. The sandwich was pretty stacked, and when ingredients started falling out, a fork would have been helpful. The Arnold Palmer was disappointing--it wasn't sweet enough and lacked the balance between iced tea and lemonade that it should have. The sandwich was okay, but the eggs really needed salt and pepper. The hash browns were awful--dry and flavorless, almost like eating cardboard. Honestly, they would have been better off buying some from Trader Joe's , which are available in the area. The Danish was just okay--nothing special.Overall, I won't be ordering from here again. It wasn't a good experience, and as the saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression--this one missed the mark.

Brooklyn Bread Cafe knows how to make a sandwich! I had the Lucky Luciano (because prosciutto makes everything better), The Rev (a spicy chicken cutlet situation that I'm still thinking about), and a peanut butter & jelly because sometimes you just need the classics. Everything was fresh, the portions were huge, and I left both full and extremely happy. I'll definitely be back soon--probably hungrier and with even less self-control.

This cafe had a very nice cozy feel to it. It has such an extensive menu. They had so many items. The staff's attentive service really adds to the charm of the place. We came here mainly for bagels and despite the variety, the bagels were lacking a bit, especially compared to the other local spots specializing in bagels. The do make up for that by providing some very creative style sandwiches. Price was pretty much normal for around the area. I would def come check them out in the summer when their outdoor seating is opened.

Stopped here to take our breakfast- bacon egg and cheese on roll. First of all egg was super overcooked (ohhh) and it was not enough bacon, like they been cheap with bacon, and cheese it's like where is it?..You can barely see it. For $8 guys you can do better. Big disappointment happened at our breakfast :(P.S bread was really good, but everything else bad

Lenny continues to entertain a poor review and sends text messages to remove his review... pathetic.... Maybe he shouldn't be a business owner since he can't take criticism. He seems so miserable. Maybe someone can help him out! Lenny thinks I buy bodega lunches but instead I make my meal prep to work and workout. Don't buy from Brooklyn bread if you don't want abs :)

Stopped by here the other afternoon to pick up lunch. I got an açaí bowl, which I was pleasantly surprised to find since these run scarce throughout the neighborhood. My friend got a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and a smoothie. The bowl was good, nothing special though and for $17 I definitely would not buy again. The same goes for the smoothie it honestly tasted like air. The bacon egg and cheese was actually very good, but considering where we were it was a extremely 'bready' bagel. There was nice outdoor seating. The wait time was far too long for what we ordered. After watching them prepare our food at sloth speed I was just all that much more hungry for what ended up being a disappointing meal. Not a must go or a place to frequent but not completely crossing it off the list.
