Brooklyn Beef N’ Cheese

The smash burger is awesome ! It can compete with some of these chain burger spots. I tried the chicken sandwich also. I thought it would be over rated but no. Not at all. Both the sandwich and burger were juicy. You just have to request lettuce and tomatoes if you want that in your burger. The chicken sandwich automatically has it. I don't have to wait to long for my food neither and tastes fresh. I would order in store and through delivery. After just trying only 2 items; motivates me to try more items off the menu. Would recommend others to try.

Tried the OG chop cheese (steak, melted cheddar, onions, signature sauce, garlic bread - we opted out of the lettuce this time). Didn't really taste any garlic in the bread but overall tasty, hearty and filling, enough for me to share with my husband. The tater tots were also crispy and satisfying. Service was good but it's more of a takeout place. Would come back again.

This is....hands down....the best freaking double smash burger I've had. Forget other big name stores. You want this. The sales clerk....who was the freaking cook....was just awesome. The meat.....which was tender....was cooked perfectly. The freaking bun it was on was unbelievably delectable. The store has the appearance of an old school quick service restaurant/deli. But dammit the food is awesome. F@&$-ing epic.

I tried this spot through my invitation for a Yelp Community Event. I stopped by on a Wednesday evening and the place was empty, but they were prepping a big Ubereats order. The lady who took my order was nice. I got a spicy beef cheesesteak on brioche as a complimentary meal courtesy of the Yelp event but I decided to also order the OG crispy chicken sandwich, a spicy chicken sandwich, and fries as well. The cheesesteak was on three brioche buns, which was interesting. Maybe getting it on a roll would've been better and bigger. The beef itself wasn't that flavorful but the red peppers made it spicy. The chicken sandwiches were only okay... the chicken patty wasn't impressive but the red peppers and jalapeños they add to make it spicy saved the sandwich -- it added depth and extra flavor. I also liked the pickled/sourness of the peppers. Honestly, this place is called Beef and Cheese, so it probably wasn't the best idea to get chicken sandwiches from here. The fries were good... I like the seasoning they used. I also got garlic aioli and Buffalo sauce with the order. I really like the garlic aioli -- it was light and buttery. The store is pretty small and not meant for dine-in. They get mostly takeout/delivery orders. It's a quirky place with funny signs around. Overall, I thought this place was pretty pricey and the portions were only standard. I would like to try the chopped cheese next time though.

Excellent sandwiches. I tried their chopped cheese with a side order of onion rings and it was delicious. Stuffed from with beef and dripping with grease the way it should be and the onion rings were crispy and huge

Ordered 2 sandwiches and fries from here. My husband and I was really hungry and downed our sandwiches. They were good, we wished they were bigger! Each sandwich was on 3 sliders. We thought that was interesting. We found it to be a little pricey too but we enjoyed the sandwiches and fries.

Disappointed. But, maybe it's my fault. Read the reviews and decided to place a pick up order from here. Was definitely trying the chop cheese sandwich but when I went to order, I was looking at the pics from the business owner here on Yelp and decided to order the spicy chicken sandwich and the OG chicken sandwich. I was very disappointed after I picked up my order and discovered that the chicken sandwiches were complied of two chicken strips that taste like they were originally frozen so not even fresh strips. The pics clearly show either a chicken breast or chicken thigh sandwich. Usually when places use chicken strips for anything they note it. And the only difference between the sandwiches was that they added two jalapeños and three small red peppers on the sandwich. The strips alone lacked in taste. Now the chopped cheese was flavorful but it was spread over three Hawaiian rolls instead of hoagie bread and also did not look as pictured. Like I said probably my fault getting a chicken sandwich at a place clearly named after what they are good for. I think the business owner needs to take their pics down seeing as it does not look like the actual product.

If you in the area, this is a must try. It's even on Uber eats. The staff is super friendly. They have a seating area inside and outside. These food was definitely a hit. I will definitely be returning. It's going on my favorites list.

Really liked the owner. I'd order again just to support him. He seems like a great guy who's passionate about his business. And I liked the taste of my sandwich. BUT....I was disappointed by the amount of cheese. I thought it would be cheesier with it having mozzarella and ricotta but it all melted down so I didn't get the benefit of the gooey, stringey mozzarella pulls and the texture of the ricotta. It just looked like meat and peppers.
