We tried but couldn't eat it...

Pizza oven
A glass a day to keep the bedbugs away
Swimming in oil and undercooked pizza - thin in all the wrong ways 12 Margherita

This just isn't what we were expecting 12 Margherita
You can tell by the crust that it's not done

Cotenna is now offering pizza nextdoor and it's called Briciola. We ordered for our group today and unfortunately, no one was pleased with it. The dough was undercooked, they forgot to add parmesan on top and for the bresaola topping - they give you 3 small 1/4th slices (exactly 3) for the entire pizza so the majority of the pizza doesn't have the topping. So, not only was the dough not cooked properly (you can see in the pics that it's under which is why it didn't puff up) and it wa a lack of toppings, but when we called, we didn't get any follow up.We wanted to love their new pizza offerings but unfortunately, it's a no go.

$12 for gourmet 12" pizzas from a gigantic menu--in the West Village. Briciola Pizza Bar's price for small pizza is the best unconditional deal I've yet encountered in New York City.It also speaks to the ridiculousness of the dining scene here. I was "early" in finding this place, sure. At this price, though, the place should be completely filled with a line out the door. The truth is that so many people are scared to try new places for themselves. The masses are waiting for a food influencer (which I'm not) to inform them that this is almost definitely the most delicious deal downtown.

Small but uncrowded on a Monday evening, this charming pizza and other Italian cuisine restaurant is an absolute bargain. The 12 inch pizzas are $12 and wine by the glass is very reasonable starting at $8. The crust was magnificent, thin, bubbly I couldn't ask for more. Service was attentive and friendly. I think the only reason it isn't packed is the word isn't out yet. I had the meatball pizza and snapped some pics which accompany this review.

Living 2 blocks away and loving pizza. This will be a frequent dinner spot. For my first pizza I ordered the Vongole. It is a white pizza with fresh clams. Amazing and so fresh. The owner also gave me a slice of Pepperoni and sausage to taste. Also amazing. At 12 dollars for a personal pizza in NYC. It was a great meal. The wine selection was also nice. Had a glass of Chardonnay with my white pie. The setting was very intimate and quiet. Another plus. Can't wait to bring my wife. She loves pizza even more than me.
