One of my favorite spots for breakfast in nyc. The pancakes are the perfectly crispy texture, egg is so soft, and potatoes are fried nicely. We got there 9:45 on Sunday morning and got in after about a 50 minute wait. By the time we left, line had probably doubled. So earlier is probably better than later. I've been to the LA location a couple of times. Noticed slight differences like they have potatoes here instead of LA's hashbrowns. The LA blueberry pancakes have more blueberries and a compote; the NY didn't, but still very tasty. NY has a menu set of 2 pancakes, 2 sausages, and 2 eggs for $18. LA doesn't have a set menu like this. Great NY has it!Highly recommend it, even with hour wait!

After getting into line around 9:40 AM on a Saturday, our party of 2 was seated after about a 40 minute wait. The service was quick, and we only had to wait maybe 10 minutes for our food. The OG Griddle Cakes and Crispy Chicken Cutlet weren't as good as I remembered them. The OG Griddle Cakes melted in my mouth, but they tasted slightly overcooked. The Crispy Chicken Cutlet, while tender and crispy, also didn't taste very flavorful without the sauce. The space can be a bit tight as you're getting yourself seated, but there's some elbow room once you've gotten yourself situated.

I'm a huge breakfast lover so I had really high expectations for this place. I got the Classic which included 2 OG griddle cakes, 2 sausage patties, and 2 eggs. The griddle cakes were definitely unique, crispy on the sides and gooey on the inside. They're not your typical pancakes, but that's what makes them so special. The pork sausage patties I got also surprised me. They're grilled to have a hard crust on both sides, which is not what I usually expect of sausage patties.I came in on a Friday around 11:30am and didn't have to wait. You order at the counter and then find your own table, so even if there's a long line, it should go by pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I tried this place but would I pay $18 again for this? Probably not.

OMG. BEST GRIDDLE CAKES EVER. I was able to order the banana walnut griddle cakes both gluten and dairy free!! They were hands down the best pancakes I've ever had. The vegan butter was amazing too. They come without syrup and truly didn't need any syrup. I also got a side of scrambled eggs which they made without butter for me. They were shockingly fluffy and melted in my mouth. Incredible brunch at a very reasonable price! The only thing is that you have to be willing to wait in line. I went at 1pm on a Saturday and only waited 30 mins but I've heard it's worse if you go a little earlier. For a late brunch though it's easy!

How does this place have 4.2 stars?! It is a smaller space and consequently, it gets pretty crowded, but other than that I have no notes! It's a no frills dining process where you order and pay at the counter and then find a seat. I was a solo diner so I just grabbed a spot at the bar/high top area. I opted for the traditional egg and pancake combo. I was skeptical by their "no syrup" philosophy, but OH MAN. I dream of these pancakes. The eggs were also fantastic! The next time I'm in NYC, I'll be back!

had to wait in line for an hour + (Sunday 10am) so would recommend getting there earlier. Wasn't expecting the griddle cakes to be SO BOMB. im not a breakfast person but this IS IT - been thinking about it since i visited cozy interior and quick service - pay at the counter then sit down. Will be back

Simple and done right- I love the texture of the oats in the pancake! The people in my party had conflicting feelings on the "no syrup" policy, but I felt that the pancakes themselves had a perfect touch of sweetness and was moist, and that it helped you appreciate the flavors of the cakes more. The downside is that because its so popular, the wait can be quite long especially for weekend brunch. If the wait was not so long, I would consider going back, but not until the hype dies down.

Very crowded on the weekends with a long line. Efficient ordering at the counter. Griddle cakes, which I ate for the first time here, are a showstopper. I don't know how long I'd actually wait in line considering I live around the corner but it is deserving of the hype.

An hour and a half wait! This felt like a reflection of NY. Always a wait and hype. I heard this girl convincing this guy to do the wait. Some people left before they made it to the front. Others held spots until the rest of their parties cut in. My friend was running late with the NY weekend train schedule changes. It was nice out at I was determined to try these oatmeal, banana pancakes. Read some of my book and then caught up with my friend. Finally we made it close and luckily a party of two came quicker than other peoples party sizes. We ordered at the counter and they pointed at the available spots. It did not take long at all to get food. It was very organized. I think the efficiency and the service being what it was actually moved the line along. People couldn't really linger for hours. I got the banana pancakes, with chickpeas and scrambled eggs and a coffee with oat milk. I absolutely loved every bite and cleaned my plate. I imagined the chickpeas as whole and not as patties. Really enjoyed their faux meat look and falafel flavor. The eggs were the way eggs are supposed to be cooked, just slightly under and fluffy. A+ on the flavors and execution of the dishes. I would recommend coming during the week to avoid the wait. Makes me want either possible reservations or text when tables are ready. Still I get it. And I truly enjoyed the meal and the company.

Fantastic pancake place in Manhattan! This was my first time trying oatmeal griddle pancakes and this place definitely did not disappoint. I especially loved the banana nut and chocolate chip pancakes! Ambiance was very chill and service was so so-- I understand that they were busy but they messed up our orders twice.
