We arrived around happy hour on Saturday and it did not disappoint. My friend and I shared a pitcher of white sangria. Delicious and a great bang for the buck. We ordered multiple tapas(prices are cheaper during happy hour) and the service was amazing! Jose, JP and Derek took such good care of us. The food was very good and topped it all off with yummy churros. Will definitely be back.

Good vibe, nice ambience and delicious food. I've been to different Boqueria locations in NYC, but this is my first time at UES. We went for brunch during Xmas week, had a pleasant experience and enjoyed our food very much. Service was good, it's definitely a reliable joint for tapas/spanish food.

Boqueria is a charming Spanish restaurant in the Upper East Side with great vibes and a solid menu that showcases the best of Spanish cuisine. However, a few logistical issues slightly dampened our overall experience.First, we were seated in a booth located right next to the bathroom entry point and facing the kitchen. This particular spot made the pathway to the kitchen very narrow, with barstool seating directly across from us. Unfortunately, every time someone passed by to use the restroom, our table would get bumped, which was a bit disruptive. Additionally, about every 20 minutes, one of the kitchen staff would bring out a stack of plates to be washed, which resulted in loud clattering noises as they were dumped and sorted in the kitchen sink. With the kitchen doors open, this noise was hard to ignore and made it difficult to hold a conversation during those moments. On the brighter side, our waiter was friendly, humorous, and full of great recommendations. Although we occasionally had to wait to catch his attention, his upbeat personality and food suggestions enhanced the dining experience. The food, however, was the star of the evening. We ordered the Paella de Mariscos, Patatas Bravas, and Croquetas de Jamón, all of which were absolutely delicious. The paella was packed with flavor, and the patatas bravas had just the right amount of crispiness and spice. We also tried a couple of cocktails, including the Fall Gin Tonic, which was very refreshing.

The flavors in the lamb skewers were impeccable. It was so tender and juicy. I wasn't even hungry since I just had ramen from a place close by. I came here for drinks and left stuffed. My red sangria was light so I switched to the rose sangria which has rose wine, tequila and grapefruit. I would choose this over the red.

Yum! Stopped by for happy hour. Our favorites include the patatas bravas, bikini sandwich, bocadito jamon and of course, the churros! We also got the potato chips, mini hamburgers and pan con tomate. Would recommend visiting during happy hour (ends at 6pm) to take advantage of the sale. I'd say this is a great place to catch up with friends. Ambiance is nice and the service was great. One note - you can pay using the QR code on the table but we realized late that there's a $1.50 fee to use the online platform to pay. That was the default way to pay so I wish I requested to pay by paper receipt instead.

This place had an amazing deal for brunch! Got three person's worth of food with $36 and it was more than enough variety. Good:- Every single dish was so tasty! Liked the sliders, the croquettes, and the churros a lot and French toast - really good variety and price value - Solid ambiance, very good for catching up in a semi private booth Bad:- A little slow on service Overall would come again!

Went here off a recommendation from a friend and it was absolutely amazing! Our party of two was sat right away on a Sunday afternoon at one of their tables close to the bar in the front of the restaurant. The ambiance was dimly lit and beautiful. My only complaint was that the front tables were small for a tapas style restaurant. We had to have our waiter pull over the table next to us to fit all of our food. To drink, I ordered the shishito pepper margarita. Easily one of the best drinks I've ever had, and I highly recommend! For dinner, we ordered a large variety of tapas: the top sirloin steak, marinated olives, fried artichokes, serrano ham croquettes, tuna crudo, and a small seafood paella. My favorites of these were the steak (paired with a delicious and light carrot puree that was a perfect match), the fried artichokes (despite them being fried, they still tasted light and fresh), the croquettes (only disappointment was that there were only 3), and the tuna crudo (the cilantro lime marinade made this simple dish, fantastic). The only real disappointment was the seafood paella. It was burnt to the point that we were able to scrape off the char from the bottom of the pan and it was completely black. When we said something to the waiter, he stated that that's how it was supposed to be however in his defense I don't think he knew how tough it really was and how it even tasted burnt. He took this item off of our bill. I would definitely come back here for all of our other tapas, the fantastic and polite service, and vibes of this establishment.
