We were recently in NYC and we had dinner at Bocca di Bacco in Manhattan. This is a wonderful eatery that serves fantastic food.My Wife ordered the Rigatoni and she enjoyed it so much I only got a small taste. I have been craving carbonara for quite some time and when I saw it on the menu my decision was easy. I make it at home and I'm very particular about how I like it. This was an incredible rendition of the classic dish. I almost licked the plate because I enjoyed it so much. I asked to speak with the manager to let them know what a great experience we had and they were delighted to hear it. I will definitely be back here on my next visit to the big scary city... Thanks again for making our night special!

Bocca di Bacco is the best kept secret when it comes to lunch. By far the best deal in the area. $25 for a three course lunch is a steal and the portions are massive. I also like the fact that they have a wide variety of starters. I paid the $2 supplement for crab cakes. It comes with a warm mushroom salad but I asked it be left off my plate. Next up chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. Absolutely fantastic. Final course was tiramisu. I don't typically eat dessert so I took it to the doorman in my building who raved about it. Service was absolutely fantastic, could not have been better. Don't sleep on this place. It is truly a gem in this crazy city.

We went on Valentines Day and did the prefixed menu. I really enjoyed the 1st & second course. I got the Insalata Di Granchio (1) and Pollo Alla Valdostana (2). There was only one dessert, Rosa Di Bocca. Unfortunately I did not really like the dessert. The servers were so great! Definitely would go back.

Long-time Bocca regulars at this location. One of our tried-and-true spots in the 'hood.BDB is still the best lunch in town; not only because it's an amazing pre-fixe lunch (both in substance and price), but it's a great ambiance and setting whether you're having a romantic date lunch, dining with friends or holding a business lunch. But, it's also among our favorite local spots for dinner too. Food is great. Beautiful spacious dining room. Service is mostly good. Sometimes it lacks, but usually it's good.I was a little irked the other day when I chose not to have a bottle of sparking water (which is included as part of the pre-fixe) but was charged $4.50 for a small glass of club soda. That literally made no sense and lacked any rational logic. However I didn't make an issue as I was treating a friend to lunch and didn't want to impact his enjoyment. But seriously, it was kind of tacky of the waiter since it was less than what I would have gotten as part of the pre-fixe. Highly recommend.

My mom and I had a great pre-theater dining experience here! We got there at 5:30. It was pretty empty but quickly filled up as the night went on! I had the limoncello spritz to drink. It was a great spring cocktail with lots of lemon flavor! To start, we shared the meat and cheese board. It was fabulous! The presentation was beautiful and the three cheeses paired great with the salami and prosciutto. The cheese also goes great with their complimentary bread and I love that the board comes with honey. Salty/sweet is the way to my heart! Only negative was that our appetizer took a while to come out and then our entrees came out not long after. The pacing could have been better. For my entree I had the cacio e Pepe. It was very good, but I've definitely had better in New York. It was a very large portion for the price, which was a plus! Overall, I loved the rustic, yet elevated vibe in here and would definitely come back. If you are seeing a show at Studio 54, this is only an avenue away, so it's a great choice for pre-theater dining!

I just had lunch here. They had a prefix special for $25 which includes an appetizer, entree, & dessert. I got a salad that had beets, pistachio, & goat cheese. Overall it was good but the beets could have chopped into smaller pieces. The rigatoni a la vodka was one of the best I've had. The tiramisu was did not disappoint. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is I walked into the restaurant because I saw sangria was on the menu and when I asked for a glass, I was told they did not have sangria. I ended up having a watermelon refresher instead.

I loved the vibes inside, perfect for a date night or just a cute casual dinner (or a cute casual date)! We were seated right away walking in as a group of 6 on a Sunday night. Bread came out quickly and pasta came out very soon after; portions were huge, and tasted good too. I've had a lot of bad / mid carbonara recently but was still craving enough to try theirs and it did not disappoint! If you tell them you plan on splitting a dish they will bring to u in 2 cute separate plates which is an extra step I appreciate. Apparently this is also my friend's favorite Italian place in the city :O

Bocca di Bacco is a classic Italian establishment in the Heart of Hell's Kitchen. The service is on point, and it brings you the authentic experience of having Italian in New York. The mahogany architecture gives an old but familiar feel and the food takes you back to the roots of New York. If you're looking for Italian or a date night, this is a place to ring up!Taste: 4.5/5Service: 5/5Ambience: 4.5/5Value for money: 4/5We had:1) Mixed Seafood Special (34): this item is on the special menu, it lacks some seasoning and you can really taste the ocean, it's a good amount and recommended2) Garganelli Ossobuco: if you can't choose, choose this, just can't go wrong!3) Tiramisu: this is done with lady fingers and a cute love presentation4) Watermelon Sugar (drink): a nice sweet cocktail5) Ginger Smash (drink): not as good as the Watermelon Sugar but does the job6) Complimentary bread, pepperoni and cheddar: not only is it complimentary, but it was good! A definite highlight and I pray that they don't lose it...7) Complimentary dessert: not sure if this was expected, but it had a nice touch in addition to our tiramisu and will welcome more food alwaysAll in all, this is a place worth visiting and if you can't make up your mind, stop on by and you won't be disappointed!

First time eating bolognese & I loved this!!! Wow! The server was so cute, Italian, & kind old man. We all enjoyed our food. The lasagna fyi does have ricotta cheese but hardly enough to taste, which is good for me given I don't like ricotta. Also, the bread was not good.Very authentic, nicely designed restaurant.I didn't realize there were so many bucca di bacco's here; I have to return for bolognese again! I highly recommend this location.Go, enjoy!

Pleasantly surprised by how good the food is here! Went for restaurant week dinner and was impressed with all three courses especially the gamberoni (skewered shrimp with Lima beans).A couple of slightly annoying aspects of the experience was that the portions were very small so I'm not sure we really saved much money versus ordering the regular menu and splitting. The tiramisu was tiny, like they took one portion and cut it in four. Though the menu had only two dessert choices, the waitress told us the cheesecake had "sold out", and no they would not be substituting another option. Understandable if it had been late at night, but we put our orders in at 6pm! Accessibility: there is a large step to enter the restaurant. We sat outside so I didn't inquire about a portable ramp or check out the bathroom. The outdoor dining patio has a small step up. I was able to transfer over by standing but not sure what the plan would be if I hadn't been able to do that.
