I came here on a Saturday evening at 7:30 for a birthday. We made reservations beforehand and had told them in advance about the occasion and they clearly understood and paid attention to that which I'm really thankful for!We entered in and its a really nice ambiance. Its a low lit dim area with wooden material and beautiful decoration. On the side is booths for group seating, in the middle is tables for groups of 3-8, and on the other side is a bar seating for sushi and individuals. It was pretty loud than i expected it to be, but I could still hear the people who I sat with. Our waiter was very funny and kind. They always checked in with us and I noticed the same for other tables as well. What I miss most was the food! I got the sashimi deluxe and it was amazing! I still think about it. For dessert, we received a complementary matcha fudge dessert with matcha ice cream and a candle on top. It was sooo good even after the filling food.

Came here for lunch with my coworkers - we celebrated two birthdays and we got green tea ice cream from the restaurant with candles. The crispy rice roll was so good. My platter was delicious as well. Can't go wrong!

Came here 10 minutes before closing and I sat at the bar. The bar area is pretty dark and cozy but the dining area does expand into a bigger space. I consulted with the bar tender about the popular dishes because I've never been here before. She was very helpful and I ordered a couple of sushi pieces, a roll, gyozas and miso soup. First of all, the wagyu gyozas were amazing. And the sauce that accompanied had a spicy notes that paired perfectly with the dumplings. The gyozas are fried and had a lovely crunch on them as well. I could've ordered another! Miso soup was great. The miso come seperate, leaving me to control how much I want in the soup. I put all of it in and it tasted great! Kaibashira and Spicy Tuna + tempura roll was pretty good as well. The rolls are a bit small but with all the other food I ordered, I was satisfied. Definitely coming back for the rest of the menu!

It's very nice place inside. Excellent for friends meeting or to even eat alone (they have sushi bar spots for lonely people. So sadly my last visit fish wasn't that good (it was eatable but not that fresh like always there)

Came here with a friend for Monday night dinner. The restaurant itself has such a cool vibe, it seems small when you first walk in but it's actually pretty big once you're inside especially towards the back! Our server was really nice and recommended this really good sake for us to try. We got some nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, and we ended up also getting the handroll set which was really cool cause we got to make our own hand rolls. Would definitely come here again!

Came here a month ago and had a fantastic time. My new favorite sushi place in NYC for upscale dining.I was treated to a full dinner by some close friends from out of town, who specifically asked me to book us a table at a nice sushi restaurant - luckily this place had a table large enough for our group, with plenty of privacy. The interior is pretty slick, the service overall is great, and the food is excellent - as is their sake.I hear it's somewhat pricey but not obscenely so for NYC standards of good sushi. I wouldn't know, honestly, since our good friends from out of town insisted on paying. We never felt rushed or anything throughout our meal, and food was served ultra-promptly at all times. The wait staff were also excellent at handling any allergies or special requests. Will be coming back here for future special occasions or whenever I want to make a good impression on visitors.

This place was hard to find. It's in a hotel and the sign on the hotel window for the restaurant is tiny. Once you're in there, it is a nice vibe though. I got the sushi combination with spicy tuna roll. I don't know what fish it was but my favorite was the white fish with a dot of yellow sauce on top.It is a bit expensive for what you get but you're paying for the ambiance, location, and good quality fish.

Amazing vibe, this place has a higher end but classy feel. It smells like a fancy hotel (bc it is inside of one). This would be a great place for a date as the noise level is good and the fish is fantastic! Highly recommend the waygu appetizer & the sushi platter

This place is a hidden gem inside a hotel, but don't let that fool you. The vibe inside is cozy and elegant, and the sushi is out of this world. You can tell they use only the freshest and highest quality fish, as each bite melts in your mouth and bursts with flavor. The presentation is also stunning, with colorful and creative dishes that make you want to take a picture before you dig in.The menu is not your typical sushi place, as they offer some other cooked options that are equally delicious. I loved the crispy rice with ahi tuna, the popcorn shrimp, and the cauliflower tempura. If you want to splurge, the Blue Ribbon Roll with lobster and the spicy crab roll are phenomenal options. They are pricey, but worth every penny. The service is very fast and efficient, even when the place gets busy. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they make sure you have a great experience. I definitely recommend making a reservation, as this place is very popular and can get crowded. This is one of my favorite sushi places in NYC, and I can't wait to go back. If you are looking for a place to treat yourself or impress someone, this is it. You won't regret it.

Absolutely stunning restaurant hidden in a hotel with incredible mood lighting. Sushi was phenomenal & the fried rice was to die for. I was a little disappointed in their veggie sushi options. I was expecting more creative rolls to go with such an incredible menu. Still a really cool spot.
