I recently visited Blue Collar Burger and decided to try their standard smash burger with fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior that delivered a satisfying burst of flavor with every bite. The toppings were fresh and complemented the savory patty without overpowering it.The fries were crispy and golden, a great side that added to the overall experience. The combination of the smash burger and fries left me feeling completely satisfied. It's a simple yet delicious meal that truly highlights the comfort of a classic burger joint. Not for nothing , they have a great burger. But the service is terrible. I ordered a milkshake and a cheeseburger today. There are 2 people working the front and 3 guys cooking in the back. About 3 people inside eating. 7 minutes after I ordered- I was informed there were no milkshakes ..... OH ! I mean shouldn't you have told me that when I ordered ? Considering there is barely anyone there. I was refunded as I continued waiting for my burger. Also no fountain drinks. You have like 10 things on the menu total including drinks, why aren't these working? 10 minutes in I was asked "what I ordered again" ..... finally, received my food and said thank you, etc. but the guy was sitting on his phone and didn't hear me :) Get it together guys. Your food is great but the service isn't what it needs to be to survive in such a service orientated neighborhood.

NYC needs more solid, no-frills burger joints like Blue Collar.I had their spicy chicken sandwich, and it hit the spot. Just chicken, pickles, and a little sauce, and it was great. The spice level won't make you sweat, but it's there and it gives a nice kick to each bite.The fries were also on the money - crispy, not too salty, and they don't skimp on portions!Not a lot of seating, with only a few tables inside and outside of the small space. But you could always grab your meal to go. If you're in the mood for burgers (or fried chicken sandwiches), Blue Collar is a great option!

How can you go wrong with burgers. Typical burger joint with easy options to choose. Everything is a la carte so it can get expensive. Shake machine wasn't working when we went in. They had convenient front parking when we went. Ambiance was chill, although it could be a bit more cleaner. Especially being there was nobody in there when we arrived. Food was mediocre. Nothing to die for. Lol.

This is my go to spot for burgers and fries. We order from here to be delivered to my work place. I order the cheese burger with bacon since the chef makes the suggestion to add bacon and it's a great suggestion. The burger is perfectly shaped and sits perfectly on a golden potato bun with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and their special sauce. I have ordered the fries by themselves and always get the side of cheese. I have also gotten the half and half which is have French fries and tatter tots. Get the side of the cheese and special sauce. It's the perfect amount of food and will not leaving you feel guilty about what you just ate. The food always arrives quickly and hot. The peanut butter shake is also pretty solid.

Is it number one no but is it alright yes. But my last order was quite disappointing, buffalo sauce tenders were not as saucy as normal. My tots over cooked and my favorite their onion rings soggy.

The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The service was great, the gentleman at the register took his time w/ any questions since it was my first time here. The space was clean w/ great retro tables and chairs. It's a casual space w/ a great music selection. I will definitely visit again.

Blue Collar is a NYC best kept secret! the food is fresh and tasty. The service is as expected - they give you what you ask for and them some! The milkshakes, tenders, fries and burgers all hit the spot! 10/10 recommend if your looking for any of the following.

This is a real basic burger joint serving really basic fatty burgers but they are a bit pricey. You might as well get a double as is only a dollar more for some reason. All the burgers come with the same usual toppings including lettuce, tomato, pickle, raw onion, and cheese. They also have shakes, chicken tenders, hot dogs, and breakfast sandwiches of all things. They lack deals of burgers with fries or tots but it is possible to get a mix of both for the same price I believe. Sides are super overpriced in general. The only cheese they offer is American (and they don't have a cheaper option without cheese) and it costs a buck extra for grilled onions. I like having a burger here occasionally but every time it feels like I'm being ripped off even if I'm getting full. Nice for them to have Boylan drinks on tap though. It's weird to describe a burger place that nickels and dimes you but this kind of falls into that description and unfortunately that's pretty apt for this neighborhood. If you want to pay a bit more for a much better burger, go to Henry Public or Moo Burger and in the former that comes with fries so it might as well be even if you're not going to get cheese there also.
