Hands down my all time favorite restaurant in the world. I always get the mouthwatering chicken, pork burger, and hot oil noodles with added cumin lamb or pork. Amaaaaazing flavor, no frills. Will always come back here again and again.

First meal here after I landed in NY!The knife cut noodles were really good, and great flavor.I ordered the crispy beef bun too but it was okay. I think it may need more flavors (personal opinion) but would come back for their noodles!

Frankly, I was disappointed. The Qi Shan Meat Sauce noodles were awful: a tangy sauce with chunks of salt pork and an overpowering tomato-ish vinegar-ish sauce. The noodles were freshly hand-pulled but were immersed in an awful slick. The dumplings were much better, but in a city and neighborhood with so many better options, they were not enough to push the score to 3 stars. The pork filling was good, with notes of ginger and flecks of bamboo shoots. But the were greasy and heavy. The counter tram was very friendly but spoke zero English, and sadly I speak zero Mandarin, so my many questions were left unanswered. The bright space is depressing and has all the charm of a parole office...or so I am told.

Hand pulled noodles are delicious here, the portions are good, and I enjoyed the dumplings a lot. Flavorful and tender, not too chewy. I ordered the noodles with the three flavors (pork, egg and tomato, and black bean). They were scrumptious.

So tender so fresh so delicious. I'm at how much flavor was in the broth. Huge portions. They pull the noodles right in front of you. Perfect texture. I asked what their most popular dish is and they said number one. It wasn't too spicy I added their fresh chilly sauce. Perfect. Clean establishment.

Delicious guilty pleasure Xi'An street food. I had the hand ripped oil seared noodles topped with cumin lamb. It was great. Super flavorful. Not overly spicy.I liked that they serve food in repeat use plastic bowls vs the flimsy paper plates Xi'An Famous Foods uses. Place is spacious and casual, food court vibes. Food came out quickly. Would come back to try other dishes. Only minus was a scary crazy homeless lady sitting in the restaurant mumbling aggressively - not sure if she would suddenly turn on patrons.

This place has similar flavors to xi'an famous foods but I think I prefer Xi'an famous foods. I got the cumin lamb with hand ripped noodles - there was a lot of peppers and bean sprouts with little to no cumin lamb pieces. The lamb pieces were really small too. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My bf got the beef noodle soup, he thought it was okay. There is a decent amt of seats. You order at the counter, pick a table to sit at, and they call your number once the food is ready. Friendly staff.

OH MY GODOrdered takeout and the N4 Soup was PERFECT for a cold rainy night. We stayed at a nearby hotel and I really wanted some soup/broth to warm up so I asked my partner to bring some extra broth for my noodles and Bites of Xi'an really delivered! They only charged him an extra $2 for a whole extra container of broth AND meat. The noodles were delicious as well, my only regret was not being able to finish my bowl because I was so full! Will definitely be back next time we are in town !

Time: August & October 2023Place: I got take-out from the 32nd St location in August, which looked more spacious but older than the 38th St location. I dined in at the 38th location, which was clean and had a bathroom (huge plus in the city!). However, both locations would be fine to sit down and dine at! Staff were nice at either locations, and service was quick. Food: The taste and quality of food was consistent between locations. And you can tell I enjoyed the food because I only waited one month to get it again AND I got the same thing both times (haha) ⁃ Rou Jia Mo: I got the standard pork filling one, and it was delicious! The bun was light and crispy, with a nice flake on the outside. The pork was fatty, juicy and tender-- exactly how a good Rou Jia Mo should be! It does get really filling because of the fat, so I can only eat half before it feels like it's too much. The taste is savory and brothy, with a light bun to help offset the weight of the flavorful meat. ⁃ Qi Shan Sao Zi Mian: Delicious with generous topping portions! The noodles are so satisfying texture-wise to eat! Thick and flat, but thin enough to slurp, it soaks in the sauce well to offer a burst of spicy and sour flavor alongside the minced pork that is drenched in the sauce too. The entire ensemble is balanced out with refreshing chunks of diced and crunchy carrots, celery, and potatoes. Overall, I love Xi'an foods and this place is a great option that is affordable ($20 total!), has great portions, and delicious taste. I would definitely come here again when I crave Xi'an cuisine.

A fast food concept for really tasty xi an noodles! The dumplings were my favorite dishes. The pan fried dumplings were nice and crispy on the outside and super flavorful and moist on the inside. We also got the steamed pork and cabbage dumplings in the spicy oil sauce. Again super tasty and almost like a soup dumpling because it was so moist. My favorite noodle was the glass noodle with minced meat. The least popular was the burger buns. They were a bit dry and not as good as the other dishes. Overall the flavors were super authentic and tasty! The seating is decent. No tables for large parties. We combined a small table to make seating for 6. The service is adequate - you order at the counter and then pick up and bring to your table. Would recommend and come again!
