Best Pizza

Absolutely love this slice. It has everything you need: perfect crunch, perfect ratio and perfect seasoning to the sauce. I found this spot from the pizza show and I remember they emphasized how much they care about using quality ingredients in their pizza and their pizza is just that, quality.They're always super nice here and they get your order out quickly. It a nice spot out here in Brooklyn, it's small but it's still in a beautiful area with outdoor seating so you can enjoy a slice while you take in Brooklyn.

Not THE classic NY slice, but a classic NY slice.Best pizza offers something different from L'Industrie down the street - instead of focusing on high-quality ingredients, they just try to execute on the classic. The product is a hit different, though: more charred, fantastic sauce.Best pizza was very good. Vibe was great, too.

Our second year in a row coming to New York . I wanted to make Best Pizza my first Pizza destination on this trip, after following videos created by Chef Frank Pinello & watching him celebrate other pizza makers & pizza restaurants over the years , I knew I just had to pay a visit to his restaurant and buy a few slices just out of respect for all that Chef Frank has done for the Pizza Community.The slices at Best Pizza rank up there with some of the better slices of Pizza that I've had in New York . That first bite made me go wow as I tasted the wonderful crust on a perfectly cooked slice of pepperoni, the balance of cheese, sauce & toppings are what every pizza restaurant is attempting to accomplish & Best Pizza does it just as good as anywhere. We bought a few slices, then bought a couple more. Inside dining is very limited, there are only a few places to sit inside & out to eat these slices. Not to worry you can easily stand & eat a slice and talk with some other pizza enthusiasts that are doing the same outside of Best Pizza.We stayed in Brooklyn this trip, it wasn't that bad of an Uber ride to get there, I would take a Lyft or Uber ride or navigate the subway from the Upper East side just to taste that dough again. Best pizza delivers a wonderful taste that your taste bids are going to enjoy. The service is excellent, this is exactly what you're searching for if you want that New York Slice. The standard slice is a solid anchor but the square and the white pie are really where it's at. It seems like there is quite the variety here where on the cheese the crust is more the pillowy style, but on the white pie it's stretched thinner and got a crispy cracker crust. The fresh tomatoes on the square was really a treat. We've been crushing pizza after pizza after pizza and the freshness brought us back to life. A real neighborhood spot with construction guys hitting it up on their lunch break. Overall, I would recommend and the sesame seeds on the crust is really nice. I've done this on Detroit pizzas at home, but think it works better in this thinner white pie.

Pretty solid pizza option in the neighborhood. Had a slice of the white pizza. Came out quickly and reasonably priced. The flavor was good!There are a couple of tables to sit at inside. No notes!

10-17-24.This place is great. Definitely nothing fancy, but it's just a casual, old school pizza joint. Unassuming, unpretentious style classic slices. I've seen this place on numerous television shows and the owner actually had a pizza show on social media where he traveled around and tried different styles of pizza from a variety of states. I never met him, but the employees mirror his "on air" personality, as does his pizza. Humble and hardworking......this place exemplifies just how good these "Mom and Pops" truly are. I hope they keep up the great work and stay in business forever. We NEED these types of places.

Stopped in as part of my quest to go to all the best pizza places in NY - no pun intended - and with a 9.1 from Dave this was clearly on the list. The slice was a nice light slice - solid and up there with what you expect from good NYC pizzeria pizza. Doesn't compete with the coal and brick oven places you typically think of when you think of spectacular pizza, but for a typical pizzeria slice, it's definitely in the upper echelon. Delicious sauce and cheese blend, with fresh basil being a nice touch to complete the bite. Absolutely no flop, a great char, and a chewy crust. Not sure I'd travel back to Williamsburg for it, but if I were in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to grab another slice here.

I had the veggie slice. The crust is great - just the right blend of crispy and chewy. I also liked the uncommon toppings - beets, tomatoes, and greens gave the whole thing an earthy taste. I just would've liked a bit more sauce on there. Not my favorite choice for pizza, but a solid slice.

I did a pizza crawl through Long Island and Brooklyn. This place was my favorite. At first glance, it looked like they went skimpy on the cheese, but once I bit into it I quickly realized it was perfectly balanced. I absolutely loved it. Yum. Visually appealing. No flop. Crispy and chewy crust. Delicious cheese and sauce. Great price. No complaints. I got a regular slice and didn't add any garlic, pepper or parm. It was excellent the way it was straight out of the oven.
