Drinks: Limoncello Milk Punch & Old Fashioned, both were strong and hit the spot Food: Brussel Sprouts & Housemade garlic truffle fries I'm a Brussel sprout lover and I will say they are on the salty side but so addictive. Fries were great!

I wouldn't have known about Bar Madonna had a friend not told me about his recent visit there, and I'm glad he did. What a gem! I was able to make a last-minute reservation for 2 on an early Friday evening. On the exterior, it's an assuming building with a small sign letting you know you've come to the right place. The interior - sleek and sexy! A perfect venue for a date night, or a cute ladies night out gathering. We were quickly greeted by the host who provided us with several options for seating. We were 2 of 5 people there at the time and chose a small booth table near the front of the restaurant. I'd strongly recommend reservations. There are about a dozen 2-seater tables and the spot quickly filled up shortly after our arrival.The menu features a small handful of options, mostly small bites, but there are enough options to satisfy various palates and preferences. We opted for the arancini (special of the day) and the smashed meatball parm which we shared. The arancini was good though one of the cheeses they included was a little too pungent. The meatball smash was absolutely all delicious and didn't feel too heavy. I'd highly recommend the banana bussdown cocktail. Very dainty, well balanced and packed a punch. Service was excellent; from the host to the bar and wait staff. They were all attentive, friendly and accommodating.I absolutely loved the vibes; and that hip-hop and R&B playlist was sublime. Kudos to the curator! Made me wish there was more room to do a little two- step. It's a fairly new spot, so hoping they're around for a long time to come.

This place is a winner for the following reasons:1. The menu is small enough to hold yoiur focus and not be exhausting. Everything I've tried, from the sandwiches to the smaller plates, has been delicious. The cocktails are all superb.2. The hunter green loungey interior invites one to linger. It is handsome and staid, dreamy and lush.3. The staff are fantastic. The hostess on every occaison has been sweet and accommodating and while the servers seem very busy, you never feel you're not a priority. They are friendly and super-focused. The vibe is playful, festive, with a welcome streak of good humor. The second I finished a drink of water, the glass was re-filled.I like that this place is brand new but knows what it's doing. It is obviously from a very experienced team, and the team is good at what they do. I feel like I keep going to places lately that are buzzy and new but the funding came from *somewhere* and everything feels dizzy, even inept. Not so with Bar Madonna, there isn't a second where I didn't feel like I was in good hands, on every visit. Highly recommended.

Loved this place. Came for happy hour quick food and drinks. Delicious. Loved the artichoke app and the fries. Old fashion was spot on and service was on top of it. Atmosphere is moody and romantic. Will be back!

Love the chill vibes of this place!! And the drink the bartender made for me on the spot with just a small recommendation was sooooo tasty!!!! Literally perfect spot for after work!!

Some of the better bar food in the area. Good ambiance for drinks and service was fast/friendly. Would come back for the chicken sandwich. The fries needed just a tad more crisp/salt.

I raved about this place the first time around but this time was a total flop. Our main dish was missing for the better part of an hour, and every time we asked about it, they said it would only be a few more minutes. The smashed meatball parm sandwich was missing a lot of sauce and tomato flavor, and the Caesar salad was incredibly underdressed. It was also so loud the server couldn't hear us without shouting, and having a conversation was a mission.Wouldn't come back after this experience

Bar Madonna is gorgeous and the vibes are spectacular. The drinks are strong and delicious. The staff is kind, beautiful and perfectly Brooklyn. But the food is not there yet. We came in for date night dinner and shared the fluke crudo, grilled baby romaine, octopus and the smashed meatball parm. The smashed meatball parm was great but everything else left more to be desired. To be blantly honest, the octopus should be avoided, it was salty and the presentation kind of gross. We love octopus and it's a must order for us when we see it on the menu so it was sad that it was such a miss for us. Look, we will be back for drinks at the bar and to stare at the pretty people but it might be some time before we are back for a full meal.

Solid meal with good service! Restaurant was a vibe and had great music playing. Favorite was the smashed meatball parm -- MUST get this!! Steak with fries was good as well but overly salty. And unfortunately I wasn't a big fan of the caesar salad.
