3.5/5. pretty good oysters, addicting popcorn, tasty/balanced tuna ceviche(I needed more bread tho), a friggin awesome bite of croquettes... Some if a bit pricy for the portion but it's fun to treat yourself. Saturday nights they'll herd you in at the bar and we had an issue with the host seating someone before us but they made up for it with a free drink. Can't say it'll happen Everytime but I appreciate them trying to make up for itLong story short, happy hour would be a steal and getting seated indoors on a busy night would be more unpleasant than being seated outside where it's a lil cold but m quiet enough

I dont like to rate low. So I am giving a three star.Picture the loudest thing you have heard. Perhaps it is a jet engine, loud boom, something of the sort. Quadruple it and that is the decibel you are looking at. Music was not the issue. I felt like I was in a scream chamber. A one direction concert is the library compared to this place. Ambiance ambiance, my eardrum was burst and i dont know why.I couldnt hear the person next to me."Should we go?"My friend asked me when we sat down."What?" I said"should we go?" he screamed at me"what?"i replied.Our replies got lost in translation. Like a dear in headlights, our waiter approached and we panicked.We stayed. But the rest of the drink we just had to stare at eachother and smile. Alas, more could be said with the eyes anyway. I gave a wink to my friend. We shared a rich hearty laugh.Our spirit is neverending. When the bill came I should have checked but they already added on tip. Since it was on an Ipad i couldnt have known. Nor could I have asked the waiter. it was too loud. I accidentally tipped twice. Since they asked for a tip on top of auto charging it. very odd. Anyways.....

Stumbled upon bar belly while walking back from dinner in the area. The interior was quite cozy but bustling with a live DJ playing. We got a punch bowl, which was perfect for our group of five. It saves you a trip from having to order again at the bar and we all had more than one drink each. The only downside is that you can only get one flavor and it does not include every cocktail on the menu. We also thought the flame was a fun detail.

This spot is so cool! There's nothing super extraordinary about it but the ambiance and drinks were great. Upon walking in the host had a very laidback but welcoming vibe and we were seated behind the bar where the space was romantic and you could people watch through the window as well as they had hooks available for coats/bags. We ordered the Mucha Chicha, La Lupe and Cab Sauv which were tasty. Oh and they give a cute bowl of seasoned popcorn which was a fun touch! The music was good, bathrooms were clean. I'd definitely come back!

Came here on a date and the ambiance is perfect for any kind of hangout. They have so many drink options and lots of small bites to share. I got the Invincible Woman and Dead Witch (espresso martini). Both drinks were very good but my favorite has to be the Dead Witch. It was so good that it converted me into an espresso martini girl. I definitely will return in the future. They have $1 oysters during happy hour, which is honestly an amazing deal! Can't wait for my next visit!

Just a beautiful space. I think bar belly felt the most like a neighborhood cocktail bar of all the spaces I visited in New York. A laid back, simple spot where you can visit and feel right at home. It is not flashy, it is not over the top, just a well put together space that puts you at ease. The menu is really nice. I ran with an invisible woman and it was superb. A super light, clarified cocktail that you can absolutely crush. It is slightly tart, sweet, and just a bit savory. I told the bartender this as well: I loved it was served with a cube in the nick and nora. Most nick and nora drinks are served up but I think the cube really elevated this drink. The workers were awesome. The bartender chatted with me about temperature/ice. It is always nice when well respected industry professionals impart some wisdom. Another spot that puts a lot of attention to detail. It goes over looked for some, but the levels of meticulousness places like bar belly employ are exactly the kinds of things I look for.

Came here for the $1 oyster happy hour with a limit of 12 pp. The waiters first started us off with complimentary truffle popcorn which was absolutely delicious. The star of the show was the oysters. Very delicious, fresh and small but can't complain considering the price.

We stopped in for a drink or two so no food was had. But we did see the oysters coming through and they looked good. We went during happy hour but ordered off of the reg menu as the happy hour menu had not as appealing drinks as their reg menu. All of the drinks were nicely made and were definitely made with love. My favorites were the Cacao Inferno. Think of boozy hot cocoa with fire roasted marshmallows dipped on the edge. It feels like a nice campfire night. So nostalgic!!! The next favorite was the Bees Trap. The best part of that drink was the boozy cream. The cream was indescribable nothing I've ever tasted before. The Espresso was good but if you're into them then it's not a rarity nowadays. It was a worthy one though. The atmosphere was great. It's a smaller venue so get there early or make a resy. Our waitress was very accommodating. We'll def put it on our list to come back when in NY.

Cocktail bar with an extensive fun and unique cocktail list. They have happy hour every day until 7pm. Upon being seated, they immediately serve a complimentary bowl of truffle popcorn which is fun to snack on. We got the Jackalope Spritz (hh menu) and Punch Card (regular menu). The spritz was refreshing and I thought the punch card was interesting in a good way! I mean, who would think to put gin and soy milk together... but it worked! We also got some oysters which were small but good. Prices are standard cocktail bar prices but not absurd. I liked this spot! I would come back again.
