There's something very American about the ambiance! The best Pho in town! The broth is full of flavor, I chose the short ribs as my protein! I admit I have finicky standards for banh mi, but this place surprised me. After seeing the restaurant so often, I finally decided to stop by in search of a quick bite and will definitely visit again. The meat to vegetable ratio is very favorable and fresh tasting. The bread is light and flaky--probably my favorite bread for banh mi I've tried in NYC. Paid $12~. While I know of other cheaper places, Banhmigos is a convenient, tasty solve.

Usually we love ordering but today not sure what happened and the fact that the phone number goes to voice mail is stressing me out! Whoever packed this should take some time to make sure it's actually closed and whoever is responsible for the phone should make sure people can actually reach them and setup the voicemail. We ordered grill pork banh mi and beef short rib banh mi. Safe to say, would order their grill pork again. It waa deliciously glazed and seasoned, flavor were smoky and sweet but also the texture was immaculate. Paired w, a lot of shredded carrots, which was comical. On the other hand, the beef short rib was shredded, and tasted like five spice soy sauce braised meat. I personally enjoyed it, but I think that's an acquired taste. My mom would make meat on the same flavor profile, but my mans not use to the flavor or texture. $12 for a banh mi is crazy tho. Expensive in my opinion. But definitely solid meat choice. Packed baguette was not skimpy.

The three things I ate here seemed to need just a bit more umph to be tasty. I got the Thai iced tea which tasted watered down and not too sweet and the tofu banh mi which was completely lacking in flavor unless you got a bite of the vegetables. I was surprised. To go along with the sandwich I got the peanut sauce and which is usually my favorite sauce EVER, but it didn't add much to the experience. Maybe I ordered wrong. Was nice to sit outside though!

I ordered the chicken pho and a boba milk tea to be delivered. The pho arrived with the broth poured directly into the bag (once I untied the plastic bag and unstapled the paper bag, I found the broth cup uncapped inside as if the liquid would magically stay put). It made an absolute mess in my home, the pho itself was already inedible without broth but the chicken tasted disgusting and like it was days old. The boba milk tea cup was coated with the broth fat and had a gamey smell. DoorDash didn't issue a refund, but I'll be contesting it with my bank.
