I recently dined at Bangkok Supper Club with a group of friends, and I was truly impressed by how seamlessly the space caters to larger parties. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the tone for an enjoyable evening. The restaurant's layout is thoughtfully designed, allowing for both intimate conversations and the lively energy of communal dining. The dim lighting and stylish decor create a chic yet relaxed environment, making it an ideal setting for gatherings, whether it's a casual dinner with friends or a celebratory night out.One of the highlights of our experience was the menu, which is perfectly crafted for sharing. This made it easy for our group to sample a wide variety of dishes, allowing everyone to indulge in different flavors and textures without feeling limited to just one choice. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with bold, authentic Thai flavors. A standout favorite at our table was the Yum Khai Dao--an exquisitely prepared deep-fried duck egg topped with grated cured egg yolk and delicate trout roe. The combination of crispy, creamy, and savory elements made it an unforgettable bite, and it was a unanimous hit among our group.Beyond the fantastic food, the energy in the restaurant was electric. The lively atmosphere, filled with the hum of conversation and the occasional toast, added to the overall experience. The staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our group felt well taken care of throughout the night. Their recommendations helped us navigate the extensive menu, and their friendly demeanor made the meal even more enjoyable.Whether you're planning a fun night out with friends or looking for a vibrant spot to celebrate a special occasion, Bangkok Supper Club is an excellent choice. The combination of shareable dishes, a stylish yet inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service makes this restaurant a must-visit in the West Village. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their incredible menu!

I was seated with a friend for its Kitchen View in the rear of the restaurant, and was very impressed with the lighting, service, and quality of our meal. Bangkok Supper Club is a cozy West Village spot with bar, traditional seating, and kitchen-side seats that go quick! The food is served family-style, with many dishes easily shareable between small and large parties. Our server recommended one small plate and one large plate per person, but we both felt one entree and side was plenty. The portion sizes are excellent. We ordered the Pork Jowl, which was highly recommended, and the meat was extremely tender and the rice was flavorful. Our green beans and snow pea side dish also made a great balance with the meat. For starters, we chose the fried wings that were stuffed with sticky rice. They were easy to share, and you can also request an extra (i.e., each order comes with three) if you prefer equal portions. The octopus was also delicious, and the fried onions and sauce was the highlight of the dish. Our dessert was also a pleasant surprise! Kudos to the service for clearing our plates and utensils, recommending fan favorite dishes (that also became the top dishes for us too), and also providing coat check and storage in the front of the restaurant. The bill will run a bit more expensive, but I firmly believe it's worth every dollar for the high-quality food and experience you'll receive.

this was literally one of the best meals that I had with my friends when we came to New York! We made the reservation for the 4 of us 3 weeks in advance. When we got in, we were able to coat check and be seated immediately. We ordered a bunch of dishes off the menu to share and honestly, I don't think I can pick my favorite one because they were literally all that delicious ! The service was amazing all night and they were super attentive to any of our needs. It's pretty dimly lit inside, but I guess that gives it a high class feel.Hokkaido Scallop Ceviche (4.5/5): This dish was super interesting to me because of the watermelon which lent a sweet taste to the scallops. It worked really well together, and I would totally get it again. Goi (5/5): A little bit spicier than I expected, but I love a spicy dish so that worked out perfectly. This is basically beef tartare with Thai spices. Pork Jowl (5/5): I was literally speechless when I had a bite of this because I wasn't expecting it to be so flavorful. The rice on the bottom was deliciously garlic, and the pork gel on top was crispy and every bite was a masterpiece.Bangkok Gai Yang (5/5): Another one of the hits of the night. This was a marinated yummy chicken dish. It came with a spicy sauce on the side that elevated it to a different level. My friends and I also use the sauce on the pork jowl!Beef Cheeks Massaman Curry (4/5): This was a great dish. Disclaimer: I'm just not the biggest fan of curry. I will say that the beef was extremely tender, so that was lovely.Pandan Cake Dessert (4.9/5): This was honestly probably one of the best pandan desserts I have ever had in my life. I am not really sure what this is called because we kind of just asked for the coconut dessert that everyone seemed to be getting. The cake was layered with a delicious cream frosting, and the coconut still had some meat inside for us to pick up.Fish Sauce (3/5): I was unfortunately, a little bit, disappointed by this drink and probably would not get it again because it did not feel like there was good flavor. Not a bad drink overall-- just underwhelming

I had a great time here!I came with 2 other friends and decided to share 3 entrees and a side. We were pleasantly stuffed by the end!All the dishes were super flavorful and well presented. My friends liked the sea bass cur du the most and I surprisinglyreallly liked the chicken with sticky rice and snowpeas. We all agreed the pork jowl was a bit too salty and dry but nevertheless we enjoyed everything!

Loved everything about this place. Vibes were chill but clean and chic. They literally won an award for their cocktails and they're definitely creative and different. We tried 4 different drinks and everything was great and they have a broad range of flavor profiles and strengths. For apps we got a few things. The rice stuffed chicken wings which had great flavor and were easy to eat. The Hokkaido scallop ceviche was very refreshing but more of a summer dish. The watermelon and mint overwhelmed the scallops but still light and refreshing, definitely not the favorite of the night. We were going to order both the toro tartare, which was the special for the night, and the steak tartare but our waiter said they had a similar flavor profile so we got the toro tartare. This was our favorite app for sure. Very light and refreshing with different textures coming from the lettuce, the fried onions and the fish itself. It was pretty spicy so be warned. For entrees we got the pork jowl which was essentially a fancy pork fried rice and we got the crying tiger. The pork jowl dish was delicious. Again had varying flavors and textures. The crying tiger was the steak and it was cooked perfectly and had a delicious sauce on top. The service was great and everyone was very attentive. Overall, this was a great place for a date night but definitely on the pricier side so maybe save this for a special occasion. I'd come back!

We got a last minute reservation through our Amex concierge and BOYYY we're SO GLAD! BY FAR an amazing experience of different flavors on our palate. The food is absolutely phenomenal. We started with the yum khai Dao (duck egg salad)--an exquisite balance of flavors, with an explosion of umami and spice that left our taste buds dancing. The pork Jowl was another highlight--perfectly cooked, with a crispy skin and tender meat, that was to die for. The Curry was rich, fragrant, and spicy, with the perfect amount of heat and a coconut creaminess that felt like comfort in a bowl. The drinks menu is equally impressive, featuring a mix of inventive cocktails and classic Thai-inspired drinks. I highly recommend the pomegranate spritz--refreshing with just the right amount of depth.Save room for dessert their coconut cake was refreshing and light and the perfect way to end our meal. Service was top-notch--our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to offer recommendations. The pacing of the meal was just right, and we never felt rushed. We will be back, by far the best meal we had during our time in NYC :)!

"Not the Bangkok I know"Came here with a 6 top to try this place which has good reviews on Eater. But having tried it, I have mixed feelings about this place. While trying to go upscale + fusion I think they lose some essence of great Thai food. Also wasn't impressed with the service. What's to cheer- Some really tasty and unique dishes: Pork Jowl, Lobster (though small), Beef Tongue and Green Beans. Lots of flavors in these, presented well and good portion sizes.- Pandan cocktail with truffle is great. What's to jeer- Decor isn't unique or cool or anything but meh- Drinks vary quite a bit and one was completely way too sour and not balanced. They wouldn't remake it and made my friend pick something else! 12 years in the liquor industry and that's a first for me. It tasted off- Grilled bok choy: 6 pieces for $18? And nothing special?- Branzino, Mushroom salad, Sea Bass and Prawns, and both desserts were ok, but not memorable.- Service could me more friendly and engaging, especially at this price point. Save the 'tude, it's 2025!

I've been to BSC twice now, and the food is consistently good. The scallop and beef tartare appetizers were exactly what I remembered from my visit last year - both are standout dishes, along with the pork jowl main. Our server was very enthusiastic about recommending the chicken thigh, which I found to be the least impressive dish here. Tasty enough, but the only BSC item I've tried that I think a competent cook could easily recreate at home. The prices are pretty steep for what you get, even by NYC standards. BSC doesn't post menu prices on their website, which is probably my single biggest restaurant pet peeve. Unlike printing menus, it doesn't cost the restaurant anything whatsoever to update prices on an online menu. Sus behavior if you ask me. People go to a restaurant's website for a few pieces of information that should always be there: hours & location, menu WITH PRICES, and reservation/contact info. That's it. All else is fluff.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by two hosts. They were very professional and took our coats. The restaurant was warm and inviting. They have a many luxurious sea green booths, which were very cozy. The menu has plenty of options. --Pork jowl - very expertly fried and the rice underneath was heaven. --Scallop ceviche - unexpectedly had a very spicy kick.--The string beans were cooked well and al dente. --Gai yang chicken was extremely soft and well marinated. Definitely get this!--Chicken wing stuffed with sticky rice had interesting contrasting flavors and textures--Beef tongue was something fun to try. The texture was new to me, but I enjoyed it.--Pandan dessert in a coconut shell, delicious--Sweet potato ice cream was very unique and I liked this better than the coconut For better or worse, I took my toddler here. She loved the bangkok gai yang, and string beans. There was not much else she could eat because of her toddler-ness. The plates are quite pricey. For 4 adults (and 1 tot), the total with tax and tip was around $400. I was about 80% full. The food is very good quality. It is rare nowadays to get good quality food, even if it is quite expensive. However, Bangkok supper club delivers! I would come back!
